Black Maria landed onboard the vessel that Akira was using. Firing a snop of web high up into the sky, it unraveled and started to slowly fall down onto the vessel, webbing it with every passing second. Akira spoke, commenting on the situation - and stating that Kaidou would fall on this day, which would leave Black Maria at the mercy of the Marines. Black Maria smiled, her smile beautiful and sinister at the same time.

I am not worried. You don't know Kaidou-sama. He is invincible.

Black Maria said. Akira could feel the unwavering confidence that Black Maria had in Kaidou. It was clear that she could not even conceive a reality where Kaidou would be defeated. Such was the power that he had in her eyes. Akira swung his sword, unleashing a strong gale toward Black Maria. The gale would destroy parts of the upperdeck, but the core functions of the ship remained mostly fine. Black Maria jumped into the incoming attack, imbuing her fists with invisible Busou-shoku no Haki. She unleashed a barrage of punches, clashing with the concussive force of the incoming attack. She was blown backward, but most of the damage was mitigated by Black Maria's own attack. Upon closer inspection, Akira would be able to see that Black Maria had knuckledusters on her hands - an interesting weapon of choice.

Now landing further back, Black Maria reached for a weapon on her back. The weapon was named Wanyudo, a strange polearm, at the end of which was a figure of a wanyudo, a flaming wagon wheel-like demon with a man's face on the side. The wheel started to turn, and friction set it ablaze. The lower part of Black Maria's body, which was a spider with a large mouth, suddenly started to inhale and then exhaled a large blast of fire. The fire started to burn the webs that Black Maria had laid all around the ship, and the whole vessel was starting to turn ablaze rapidly. It would sink.

Atatamaria (炎上あたたマリア Atatamaria?, literally meaning "Flaming Maria"): Black Maria has the human face on her lower spider half breathe out fire to set ablaze any of her prior-created webs, something possible due to the webs' flammability. First seen in Black Maria's fight against Robin, she used this to kindle her Ikidomaria nets, engulfing the battlefield in flames to prevent Robin from sprouting more of her limbs.[6] The technique's name is a pun on atatamari (温まり?), the continuative verb form of atatamaru (meaning "to warm up"), as another play on Black Maria's name; the kanji for "flaming" would normally be read as enjō (炎上?). The VIZ manga calls the technique Mariarson, a pun on "arson".

@Gambit (Namor)

Namor, who had decided to infiltrate Onigashima from the back, had had a rather uneventful time. Thanks to Kaidou's enormous physical size, the power of his attacks, as well as the level of the opponents that he was fighting, all the attention was above Onigashima, while most of Onigashima itself was abandoned in fear of total collapse under the weight of the grand battle above it. This would leave Namor with a very easy path through Onigashima. He, too, realized that the fighting was happening above. However, whether Namor planned to join the battle against Kaidou or not, was not a choice that he would be allowed to make. Suddenly, apart from all the tremors caused by the battle above, the floors inside Onigashima started to shake in the pattern of very heavy footsteps. From behind a corner, a massive silhouette walked out. A familiar face, one that Namor knew. One of Kaidou's three Calamities, Queen, was dead. Another one of Kaidou's three Calamities, King, was fighting the Marine, Sasaki. And now, in front of Namor, stood the last of the three Calamities, Jack.

Ohh? Snuck in thinking you would take over this place? Kaidou-sama will kill your Captain... while I deal with you.

Jack said, his eyes glaring and bloodshot. He stood tall in his half Fishman half Mammoth Hybrid form - with a centaur-like body with four mammoth legs, the upper body of a man, with the head, trunk, and tusks of a mammoth.

In his hands, he wielded his signature weapons. Namor has met his Fishman match.

“Invincible? We’ll see.”

Akira’s words did not change Maria’s mind, which she would simply retort as to how Kaido is invincible, and that Akira did not know Kaido. This would only lead to the young boy simply responding to her coldly. The negotiations have failed, and thus Akira have to simply get rid of her and get to Onigashima on his own. Maria would deal with the shockwave-like attack coming from Akira through a series of punches, but barely managed it out. The next action was performed by Maria as she took out a strange weapon of sorts, a polearm but with a flaming wheel and a face on it. A blast of fire would follow suit as Black Maria exhales the breadth of fire around the ship, setting the ship ablaze, it would soon sink and Akira now seemly forced to take drastic actions would do so almost immediately.

“But for now, your head will have to do, then Orochi’s.”

The blade would glow blood red as Akira’s hand and the rest of the sword would become coated in black, Haki was used. Moving his hands and the blade back to a combative but slightly strange stance for a katana, Akira took a single step forward, and jump towards Black Maria at an incredible speed using a Soru-like movement. Using a thrusting motion with the blade, a tornado-like effect would manifest around the sword as it engulfs and expands. The tornado functions similarly as an air blade as well, thus making direct contact with the tornado would be sliced accordingly. The tip of the blade functions like a drill-like effect but on a large scale, even if Maria would attempt to utilize webs, the tornado would likely slice it away with relative ease. With a single piercing attack, Akira aims to straight up kill off Black Maria on the chest, or at least fatally injuring the woman in one singular strike.

Carnage was already underway by the time Kallavan had arrived. Kaido was mixed in a 5 v 1 or was about to be. The strongest creature, however, would delay such problems until absolutely necessary. Leo who had arrived a few moments prior had already pushed through his own tornado and continued his assault on Kaido. Kallavan, however, had to deal with an incredible attack on his own. No elemental powers would aid him in this matter, pure physical strength would aid him in this endeavour.

Shifting into his hybrid form Kallavan kicked the air in front of him, mimicking his peer Leo in unleashing a rankyaku of his own. Yet as he launched forth his right kick, coated with haki he felt a strange sensation. Unaware and with no time to actually dwell on it Kallavan would launch his own attack. "Rankyaku!"

From Kallavan's leg, a pristine rankyaku was launched into the tornado establishing a struggle between the two attacks as each one fought for supremacy. However, in that moment of quiet Kallavan would ponder and stared at his right leg as he lowered it. He knew he had coated his attack with haki but it missed the trademark dark coating. Even the rankyaku was befitted of the trademark dark tufts of haki. Just like before with the awakening of his desire another strange thing was happening. With a quick shake of his head, Kallavan would bring himself back to reality as the tornado in the meantime had won the struggle. But just like with Leo, Kallavan could shrug off this attack without any issue, it had lost its edge in the skirmish with his rankyaku.

Now looking below he'd see the aftermath of Leo's hiken who, supposedly had engulfed both Kaido and the unknown pirate. Kallavan would keep up the heat on the Yonko as he'd inhale sharply before vanishing through a technique called Kamisori. Kallavan would zip around like a ball in a rally nearly unable to follow to the untrained eye. In a matter of moments, he'd be upon Kaido's side in the midsts of delivering an incredible right kick towards the behemoth's neck. The intererval between Leo's fading hiken and Kallavan's own strike a matter of seconds, timing it so his peer wouldn't cook his ally alive.

"Rokuougan!" Kallavan shouted at the top of his lungs.

From the single kick, an incredible amount of force was released upon the Yonko titan. Both physically and reverberating within his body for that was the essence of a rokuougan, a feat Kallavan had managed to combine with a physical attack. Leo, who'd be in close proximity was perhaps the one most impressed at this feat. For no one so far besides his own had managed to create a variation of rokushiki's most difficult technique: the rokuougan. And to even channel it through one's legs deserved praise. It, however, again lacked the trademark dark coating that'd tempered Kallavan's strikes ever since he mastered it. Just what was going on with the young Admiral? While the lack of hardening bothered him greatly he was blind to the fact that his strikes hadn't lost their edge. In fact, they were on par with most hardened strikes. He was on the verge of a breakthrough, but the circumstances and his own impatience made him blind to it.

Would he find the answer on his own fast enough or would someone else interfere?

 

[Gambit]

Both Kaido and Gambit transformed into their full-beast form, unleashing hell upon the soil of Onigashima that extended to heaven's gate. There was a brief staredown between the two until the latter summoned thousands of thousands of bats across the battlefield. Kaido took the liberty of invoking the first blow, something Gambit had been waiting for.

The Yonko revolved like the globe to the sun, forcing the air space to be his own weapon of choice, conjuring several tornadoes around him. These tornadoes would try to suck the bats the Prince of Pirates summoned but they were wrong. With awakening, Landayan cannot only summon these night creatures at will, but they serve as an extension of himself. Therefore, at will, or simply by his grace, act accordingly.

When the spinning violent forces of wind were cast, Gambit, still floating across Kaido, instantaneously raised his right arm. He would swiftly gesture his right hand clockwise, unleashing a counter-tornado. With this motion, the plethora of bats would force themselves against Kaido's massive attack, reducing the output significantly. (Gambit) Cladding the outermost surface of the swarm, they should be able to fortify themselves, reducing the casualty. "Impressive... Bueno..."

"DARK STORM RISING!!!"

IX: Awakening
During his battle with the legendary pirate Shiki, Gambit was able to tap into a whole new level of power called Awakening. In this form, he can communicate with vampire bats using a distinct sound via echolocation, control, and use them as a weapon.

Dark Storm Rising: Gambit in awakened form gathers a portion of the bats he invoked, commanding them to intertwine around the targeted area with a speed that mirrors the user's, fashioning a phenomenon called a tornado. Targets that are caught within 25 meters will be carried high up in the air and thrown them down with great force.

Gambit quickly gathered his bats higher as he sensed other parties arrived. Observing the situation, he would quickly identify a younger marine that he met in the capital. "Hmmm?"

And another one that shone like a bright gem. "Hmmm? Patch? Grrrrr."

He would gesture his two hands into angry knuckles, forming his bats the same. Two nightly fists that he would grace upon not only to Kaido but to Burns as well, in rapid succession. Through his creatures, punishment to a crime like a boulder thrown to a land mine.

"CRIME AND PUNISHMENT!!!", he roared as he punish the marine and the emperor while they're busy casting down their own attacks. Should either of them evade or counter the attack, Gambit will only change the movement of the attack, spreading them only to gather once more and redo the punishment.

"What are you doing here, Burns?"

Crime and Punishment: Gambit in awakened form gathers a portion of the bats he invoked, forming them like a giant hand upon the target area. At will, it can take the form of a fist, a claw, or a palm before punching/slamming/swiping/slamming it down without remorse to his enemies. AOE is 25 meters in diameter.

Namor always thought that he was alone in entering the castle. He was wrong, as he was busy readying himself to go to the top, a figure emerged. A race of his own, Jack the Drought.

"??!", as he turned to the calamity.

"Jack!", he interjected. "Don't worry about Gambit, he'll be fine. You should worry about your situation, for I, Prince Namor of Atlantia shall decide on your fate."

The calamity quickly showed his rage, transforming into his hybrid state. Wielding his shotels, he kicked off. Namor, at last, drew his weapons. Two daggers that when he pushed the pommels against each other would transform into a cursed Trident, Neptune.

"I shall finish you quickly Jack. Here I come...."

Namor would clad his weapon and would thrust towards the incoming Jack aiming to send him reeling in pain.

Death approached, gliding down to the giant skull, a fitting ground. Medusa had joined the samurais that fought Kaido’s army, as the Grand Battle raged in the heavens. The skeletal face curled an ever longing sadistic smile, seeing the attacks flashing, spirits roaring, and destruction raging.

Death was upon the battle, before her soul beat. A voice took to her soul once more.

[Voice] “You don’t know how to use your power! LET ME SHOW YOU!!”​

The camera whirled into La Spada’s eyes, showing a flashback of Hell. Quite literally, La Spada’s body climbed out from fiery depths, skin melting off in whisks, newly escaped from Tartarus. On exit, a black soul latched on the skeleton’s left hand, the one always covered in a hook. Covered to hide the soul that slowly tried to take over her body. A soul with darkness that put Death herself to shame. For now, controlled.

The beating stopped, now replaced with the sadistic grin that made La Spada infamous. The Grim’s eyes glowed green, erupting in a blaze of green light and wisps of darkness that engulfed her. La Spada landed in the giant skeleton head, slamming her right hand onto the ground, her voice echoing.

[La Spada] “YOMI YOMI NO MI…. AWAKENING!!!”​

Hell brought on earth. The power of Yomi’s power of revival stretching to the world around La Spada. The area began to wither, turning into a dark wasteland. A thick cold fog rolled, chilling the area. The very sky turned black, as if hiding from the what was to come. From the ground, the dead rose. An army of skeletons rose from the ground. Living souls long dead in the battlefield had risen, looking to drag those with anything but an evil disposition, freezing those they touch.

A Grand Entrance to live in infamy. The battlefield was now the Land of the Dead, a fitting end to the Strongest Beast in the World.


The Grim did not stop there. Mind games triumphed. While everyone sought to cut Kaido’s body, La Spada sought to cut down his soul. That is what separated the Grim. Suddenly, the skeleton giant head they were on… shook. The mouth moved, and from it, a loud pedantic roar echoed through all of Onigashima. The giant was alive, slowly lifting it’s head. A familiar voice to Kaido echoed. A soul recently killed filled the giant skeleton. A voice filled with regret and anger for Kaido. A voice taken over by ire.

Words from a voice that would send chills down Kaido’s spine.

[Queen] “YOU LET ME DIE! ALL THIS TIME! YOU COULDN’T BE JOYBOY EITHER!!”​

Dawn of the Dead
Hell brought on earth. Once awakened, the Yomi’s power of revival stretches to the world around La Spada. The area around her begins to wither, turning into a dark wasteland. A thick cold fog rolls and the ground turns black. From the ground, the dead rise.

La Spada summons the souls of the dead, able to rise in the form of an army of evil skeletons to fight. It is said that they will drag those who La Spada commands down to Hell. The skeletons can slowly freeze those they touch, as the are themselves souls with the Chill of the Underworld. If any NPCs have been killed in the same storyline, Spada can resurrect them, though they are devoided of any special abilities like DFs.

The attack on Uteki was a hit, though whether or not she would successfully defend herself to any extent is unknown, but the outcome is clear. The kanabo slams onto her and thus seemly took her out in one hit. This would cause Uteki to fell upon the floors of Onigashima, the damage she would take is uncertain however, but for now she is out of the fight. The second he would take out Uteki temporarily, came a fist of fire with incredible power. Kaido is mildly surprised, but immediately made a single comment, as if in jest.

“Worororo! You dare use fire against a Dragon?”

Kaido did not hesitate to immediately swung his kanabo against Leo’s attack, carrying on with his attack by merely his weapon alone and only bothered using invisible Haki to enhanced his swing. The kanabo would clash against the fist of fire, but soon – the power of the Logia would overwhelm the Yonko fairly easily, burning the half-dragon hybrid. Perhaps overconfidence on Kaido’s part?

The fist of flames would subside as Kaido emerges from the smoke, seemly with no visible effect, his mood however changed a little. Perhaps a little angrier now that the flames managed to overwhelmed him. But before anything else, thanks to the timing by the two Marines, Kallavan immediately took the opportunity to strike Kaido with those spare few seconds upon the flames subsiding to strike. Despite a man of humongous size, Kaido is nothing but fast as well. Those few seconds of Kallavan’s attack was seen and better yet the marine shouted, but no matter how fast Kaido seems to be, dodging the attack by Kallavan is impossible given the timing as the marine aims for his neck, yet the Emperor is no slouch, black Haki would quickly spread and coats Kaido’s neck and head together.

The kick would connect on Kaido’s neck per Kallavan’s plan of action, causing some damage towards Kaido, as the Yonko jerks towards the same direction of Kallavan’s kick, blood would splat from Kaido’s mouth, as his neck slightly sinks in. But Kaido would almost instantly retaliate, his serpentine tail, having in the process of going towards Kallavan during the kick would quickly wrap around Kallavan’s outstretch leg as Kaido pivots his right feet around, the flame clouds around him allowed him to move in mid-air easily as he shifts his body around, restabilising Kaido’s body as Kaido would throw Kallavan with great power, likely unbalancing the marine given his stance. Kallavan if especially captured by the tail would find himself thrown towards Gambit’s bat-fists.

This should likely put Kallavan in harm’s way and take the brunt of Gambit’s attack for Kaido. If that is not enough, Kaido would immediately open his mouth and fire a flame breath towards Kallavan as well at point blank, that even should he manage to move out of harm’s way, Kaido’s attack would deal with Gambit’s attack instead.

Lastly, with Kallavan likely thrown as a meat shield against Gambit’s attack, the serpentine tail would be released at the last moment as Kaido would use his flame clouds once more to move away from Kallavan or the clash of attacks, he would jerk his neck towards the side, a pop could be heard as Kaido gently touches the neck with his free hand. A voice would quickly hit Kaido with familiarity, the voice of Queen. Arisen as a large skeleton, the anger of Queen would accuse Kaido of leading to his death. Yet Kaido is not aware of Queen’s death.

An illusion? A trick?

Kaido mumbled quietly to himself, he couldn’t be sure what is La Spada’s power in entirety at this moment, but the Yonko wouldn’t allow La Spada to play such tricks onto him. Immediately, Kaido swings his kanabo forward, launching a long range projectile-like shockwave, imbued with invisible Haki towards La Spada from where he stood, his eyes are however, also looking towards Kallavan, Gambit and Leo – waiting to see their next moves.

Kongo Kabura (金剛鏑 Kongō Kabura?, literally meaning "Adamantine Turnip"): An attack used by Kaidou in his Human-Beast Form, where he swings forward Hassaikai to launch a long-ranged, projectile-like shockwave at an opponent.

Kaido’s DPR: 8. City Level + A: +3 + CoA: +2 = 13. Small Continent Level

 

[Kaka]

Leo's right fist blazed with a powerful flame. Punching downward, Leo unleashed a gigantic fire fist toward Kaidou, who was attacking another pirate - a situation that Leo immediately capitalized on. However, due to the distances involved, Kaidou was slightly faster, finishing his attack on the pirate with time to spare, which allowed him to fight back against Leo's own attack. Kaidou laughed, stating that one should not attempt to burn a dragon, and then swung his spiked club, clashing with Leo's attack.

Don't burn yourself, Kaidou... Leo said, responding to Kaidou's words.

The clash was but momentary, as Leo's attack overpowered Kaidou's own, engulfing him. Unfortunately, much of the attack's strength was diminished by the clash, and Leo did not expect great results. But, there was no time to dwell on that. As quickly as he had finished his attack on Kaidou, Leo himself was under attack.

A gigantic fist of darkness - which, in fact, was a huge gathering of bats in the form of a fist - descended onto Leo. Five fireballs appeared behind Leo, who elevated his left arm, pointing it up toward the descending fist of darkness.

Wisps of black Busou-shoku no Haki danced within the five fireballs, and Leo fired them up toward the fist. The five fireballs and the fist converged, clashing. The fireballs erupted into a massive blast of fire, which clashed equally with the giant fist of darkness, the two attacks dispersing with a lot of their released power creating collateral mayhem all around.

Just a few of the bats that had formed the fist of darkness, managed to get through the massive explosion, reaching Leo - but they burned to ashes as soon as they got close to his fiery body. Leo glared at Gambit, the two men having met in the past.

Still haven't found a bride yet? No wonder you're so agitated.

Leo said. Maybe his attack didn't get to burn Gambit, but his words surely would. That aside, Gambit's attack presented a unique aspect of this battle. It was not everyone against Kaidou - after all, save for Leo and Kallavan, no one here was a true ally to another.

So, you want a fight? Or can we get rid of the dragon first?

Leo said, giving Gambit the option. However, it was then that La Spada ''awakened'', bringing hell to earth. The dead started to rise, and among them, was one of the three Calamities of the Beast Pirates, Queen. The dead Queen, reanimated, inhaled and shouted at the top of his lungs. He was enraged at Kaidou for having let him die. However, what was more important was what Queen said afterward. Leo's eyes widened in surprise... Joy Boy. A legend of the past. A legend that the World Government could not sleep over. What did Queen and the Beast Pirates know?

Black Maria's webs were cast all over the vessel, and the spider that served as her lower body, spat out a stream of fire, setting it all ablaze. The vessel started to burn ferociously, with the streams of fire running down the lengths of the webs in all directions. Realizing that he had little time, Akira got serious, taking up a stance. Black Maria did the same, tightening the grip on her flaming polearm. Akira disappeared from his location, using Soru, and appeared in front of Black Maria, thrusting his katana forward in a piercing drilling motion. Black Maria swung her flaming wheel weapon, imbuing it with black Busou-shoku no Haki. The two weapons would clash, sending strong winds all over the vessel, the oxygen feeding the ferocious flames further.

The clash lasted equally a few moments, before Akira's attack overwhelmed Black Maria, sending her reeling. The strong piercing winds cast a few surface cuts onto Black Maria's body, but the damage was mostly negligible. The vessel continued to burn, and with every passing moment, Akira's situation was looking worse. Black Maria let go of her weapon with her left hand, holding it just in her right, while her left hand pointed toward her own vessel behind her. She shot a net toward her vessel, grabbing onto it.

You will sink here. You do not deserve to fight Kaidou-sama.

Black Maria announced. Akira was stronger than Black Maria, and the clash just now proved it. But, Black Maria was smart, and she was taking advantage of her surroundings, fighting strategically.

@Gambit (Namor)

As the greats raged up in the sky above Onigashima, fighting a battle that could destroy an island if directed at it, two Fishmen meanwhile met in the levels below, inside Onigashima. Jack, one of Kaidou's three Calamities, and Namor, Gambit's second-in-command. Their Fishman heritage bound them, but it was not stronger than the affiliations they each held toward their Captains and their respective crews. And as such, on this day, two Fishmen would fight to the death. Jack's weapons in hands, he was ready. Namor, likewise, drew his weapons, putting them together to form a legendary trident.

Namor was the first to attack, rushing forward and thrusting his trident at Jack with great strength and speed. Jack swung with his right hand, clashing his weapon powerfully against Namor's own.

As soon as the clash ended, Jack rushed forward and he was upon Namor once again. Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad his mammoth trunk, and he swung it vertically downward, aiming to smash Namor into the ground with the strength of a falling building.

The vessel burned continuously, the situation is slowly turning against Akira – but Akira’s attack managed to overwhelmed Black Maria, pushing her back with some injuries. But in that one instant the young boy did not let go of the opportunity, upon landing back on the deck of the ship after the jump, the young boy immediately dashes forward at incredible speed before leaping once more towards Black Maria as she shots a net towards her vessel. His blade continues to glow in red as Akira continues to utilize Haki against the woman before him. As Black Maria would taunt Akira, she would find her sentence unlikely to be completed as the young boy did not relent his aggression against her at all.

Once Akira is close enough, he would immediately spin around himself as he swings in a circular arc, generating an air blade along as the young boy aims to slash Black Maria’s right shoulder completely off, which if successful would force her to drop her weapon and inflict serious injuries, at the same time reeling her back further towards the water. But Akira’s purpose wasn’t just to injure Black Maria, he needs to get close enough for him to force Black Maria to retreat, and with her – him in tow. As such, upon delivering the attack Akira would immediately kick Black Maria with a simple straight kick to her chest in mid-air with incredible force enough to hopefully push the large woman off the boat.

Should at any point that Black Maria attempts to retreat back to her ship, Akira would be close enough to grab onto her, his other free hand still wielding his weapon to deflect anything she might throw afterwards to shake him off. But more importantly, getting to her vessel is paramount - as this means that taking the fight to her vessel is immediately disadvantageous for both her and Orochi, being Devil Fruit users.

Kallavan’s kick would dig into Kaido’s neck, unleashing all the power in a devastating strike. The Yonko, however, tanked the attack with only minor injuries. Or so it’d seem at first glance. Only blood would be coughed up and the Yonko retaliated almost immediately. Before the Admiral could even react he found his kicking leg to be wrapped with Kaido’s tail, preventing his movements. Eyes widened in shock Kallavan would brace himself for the worst as he was swung around until eventually, he’d be launching into Gambits attack.

Now in a pincer move Kallavan had an attack arriving towards him and behind him at the same time. Both with remarkable power if he wished to see this battle through he had to come up with something. “ You’re holding back…throw wide the gates…” A voice would whisper in his mind. To which Kallavan would grit his teeth as he'd slice the air in front of him. "Rankyaku!"

Kallavan shouted as an entirely different rankyaku was launched from his legs. The airblade had been infused with so much armaments that it turned pitch black. An exchange that happened in an instant by the time he was thrown by kaido. With one attack dealt with he now rotated himself towards Gambits strike. However, as he rotated himself Kallavan morphed into his full dinosaur form. Using the momentum from Kaido's swing and his now-massive size, Kallavan once again imbued himself with incredible haki.

"Jurassic Drop!"

Kallavan's massive body clashed equally with the cloud of bats as either struggled for supremacy in this bout. From the background, Kallavan would observe explosions happening around him, courtesy of his marine ally. A smirk would appear on the massive apex predator who found joy in what was happening to himself.

Eventually, their struggle would come to an end as both parties would be pushed back due to the result of both their strengths. While Kallavan would reach the ground one cannot say the same for the cloud of bats. Perhaps some would've died from the incredible force they were fighting against. But who could say at this point? Once on the ground, Kallavan would revert back into his hybrid form as he looked around the ever-changing battlefield.

The dead were being reanimated as even one of Kaido's officers stood at the ready in an unsightly form. The work of La Spada no doubt. The marine would stand up from his somewhat crouched position. He took a deep breath and exhaled once, his eyes ever vigilant on his surroundings. Things were just getting started.

 

[Gambit]

A series of onslaughts on Onigashima was unleashed rapidly like a virus. Every attack is centered toward Kaido, the emperor and the captain of 100 Beasts Pirates. But all of these abruptly changed upon the arrival of the two marines. Gambit changed the tides. As soon as he locked his sight at a familiar figure, he doubled his might, calling forth a duo of fists of night creatures. The first wave was sent downward Leo Burns, the same Vice-Admiral who caused nuisance to him in the past. The only cause of the fall of his wedding proposal to a certain princess in the Blues.

The collective destructive fist of darkness clashed with the flaming projectiles of the marine, almost equally but the prince reigned victor. And unlike what Leo thought of, these bats are collectively pounding, attacking their target and therefore, their strength couldn't have easily wavered. The display of their powers erupted across the battlefield like two comets meeting in space. The outer surface of the bat formation that was coated in Haki fell like true evils of the night, sacrificing themselves for the Lord of Hell himself. The remnants of the fist changed direction as soon as this occurred, merely by Gambit gesturing his palm backward.

The other swarm of thousands of bats was bestowed to Kaido as he launched his Kanabo at the crimson maiden. But the Yonko was not an ordinary fighter. He is resilient, fast, and alert. When the bats descended, he quickly capitalized on the blitzing Kallavan, locking its tail around his body, using him as a meat shield as he was thrown against the raining bats. The other Vice-Admiral quickly morphed into his beast form, colliding equally with the bats. And there, another explosion occurred.

The prince swiftly raised his arms way up high, gathering all the remaining bats while calling forth more from the nearby territories, probably from the skirts of Wano itself. It's never-ending. He was about to launch another storm at the enemies until another familiar figure emerged.

"SPADA!"

The moment his other nemesis emerged, she summoned another version of hell by herself, invoking skeletons of the undead, re-animating them as she commands. But most notably, a recently fallen calamity. Queen! The latter exhaled with such emotion, casting guilt on his lord. But above all, a notion of history. A mystery. Gambit laughed maniacally.

"None of you will rise a Joy Boy. Not even you Spada!"

Gambit looked at the sky, the sun is NOW setting. "Soon the dawn shall rise. And there shall only be one king the will turn this world upside down. It is I!"

Suddenly, the prince had the sky covered with bats once again. Darkness everywhere. Topped with the chilling sensation of Spada's arrival, and the sinister aura of Kaido himself. The marines would have to deal with Hell raised on Earth.

Gambit flapped his wings so rapidly and ever strongly that it unleashed dozens of highly-compressed air slashes, rivaling even the sharpest and longest Rankyakus. They were tempests, fortified with Black Haki. He did this without any incantation. But the direction of the slashes is everywhere.

Tempest Clap: Gambit flaps his vampiric wings in order to create several huge highly compressed air slashes.

As the sky darkened, Gambit used another signature of his vampirism. An ability to join darkness itself. He conjured a cloak out of thin air before concealing himself. Now invisible, he would launch himself toward someone nearest to him, Kallavan, and with great speed as he's channeling all his razor-sharp claws at the admiral.

If successful, he would not only dig his claws deep into him but also take away its energy from him. And after that, he would take the admiral's body skyward and let the gravity judge on his fate as he throws him down with absolute speed and injustice.

Meanwhile, Jack parried with Namor almost equally. Albeit the former winning by an inch. The prince of the deep was pushed a few meters back and at this chance, Jack capitalized. He forced forward but Namor quickly read its movement, putting his guard up. The prince of Atlantia swirled his cursed trident rapidly and over a dozen times as Jack's weapon descended upon him. A strong circular force was unleashed from the weapon, capable to defend itself from harm. Wisps of Haki spirals the attack.

Namor rapidly spins with his trident lifted over his head. From that spin, a whirlpool gathers around him. He would then leap midair before launching himself to the opponent for a devastating blow.

The battle raged. The powers that be clashed. A ground in chaos, Queen’s soul made a declaration. A declaration met with mixed emotions. Kaido was not JOYBOY. From this group, perhaps one would become, but Kaido was not him. The next in line for the throne of Yonko made a proclamation of his own, met with La Spada’s cocky demeaning jest.

[La Spada] “Morrow! Still as lively as ever, yah’ filthy orphan! Kuahahahha!!”​

Souls were summoned by the hundreds, finding a host in whatever they could find. Amidst the chaos and the attacks, souls would pass through them. Many souls passed by Kaido, by his Kanabo. A Grim experience. Hell brought on earth. The thick fog rolled, chilling the area, bringing a real quiver to a battleground of legend. Gambit blot out the sun, sending the grounds into hell. A duo birthed out of hell. What the seas would be if they took the reigns…

Kaido was on the defensive, yet sought to bring it to an end. The dragon, up in the sky with clouds, aimed at The Grim. He would be met with a sadistic grin, the skeletal body dashing towards the airblade like a rogue patient in a madhouse. La Spada dodged Gambit’s own airblades as he toppled Kaido’s, tongue flapping and soul illuminating the area.

[La Spada] “Yah’ fool! You’ve already lost! Yah’ think I would return without a plan?! These souls will inhabit everything! Even your very essence! All of Onigashima will know Hell!​

Skeletons jumped to the air, making makeshifts stairs that La Spada climbed as she rushed the airblade, eyes manic. Thrown forward and upward, La Spada’s hook made contact with Kaido’s airblade, brimming with Haki. Much to onlooker’s chagrin, the spirit crackling in same was absorbed, made one with the hook, now claimed by Shodai. By the time the attack dissipated, La Spada was already past Kaido, cloaked by the npdarkness and the fog, making it hard to react.

Jumping past Kaido, La Spada appeared above him, gliding. The woman had her blade sheathed, already drawn and slashed, brimming with Haki. Kaido may feel something off; his Kanabo had trouble with a retort, for a soul inhabited it. It sought to jerk off his hand as La Spada careened passed him. A soul he had felt once before.

[La Spada] “Souls slayed by Death fall by my revival. Inanimate objects they possess. Guess what yah’ precious Kanabo is… Kuhahahaha!​

[La Spada] ”Song of Scratches: Blizzard Strike!!!​

Kaido’s kanabo had been inhabited earlier when souls were summoned. This time, by Zalera (lvl. 55), the nakama La Spada slew in Flower Capitol. A plan forged since then. When La Spada attacked, Zalera, as the Kanabo, jerked off Kaido’s hand. Suddenly, the slash would manifest itself. Not on Kaido’s body, nay. Ice would crackle in Kaido’s Kanabo. La Spada had sought to sever the possessed Kanabo to inhibit the Yonko.

If successful, the slash empowered by soul and will would cut the Kanabo in pieces, frozen beyond repair, chilled to the core. Zalera inhibiting the Kanabo would theoretically prevent Kaido from protecting it, having had his haki just absorbed, attacked cloaked by the night, and Kanano jerked off his hand by possession. At the worst, the attack may seperate the Kanabo from Kaido, Zalera pulling to the ground. Grim played the long game. If she could take away the Yonko’s primary weapon, they may have a chance.

Souls fluttered everywhere, filling the dark grounds with green lights, all seeking places to inhabit. Welcome to Hell.

The attack with Kallavan wasn’t as much of a success as he would’ve thought, the marine was forced into defending himself – releasing a powerful Rankyaku in the process. The air blade held slightly more power than Kaido expected, barely overpowering the breath of fire Kaido utilized against Kallavan. The result was a flimsy-looking air blade, bare keeping it together as it would make its last legs towards Kaido, this would only be batted away with a mere swing of his Kanabo – destroying the remains of the attack before it could inflict any kind of damage. This would eventually lead to the marine dealing with the pirate’s own attack.

But what is fascinating is the talk of the town suddenly shifts to the Joy Boy, a topic Kaido himself is well-aware of, perhaps more so than anyone around him. The start of the talk, Queen – or at least Kaido seems more convinced some other sorcery at works that is related to La Spada’s powers. That said, as the proclamation of Gambit would cause the shift of environment, the sun would presumably set – only as the narrator allows for it. The Prince would proclaim his ascension into a King. Air blades would scatter from Gambit as Kaido would only ignore the delusions of grandeur coming from Gambit, there would be of no King aside from the Yonko himself. The air blades, large in size – would eventually come for Kaido, but considering the distance, it is of no issue for Kaido to simply move aside, or away from the incoming attacks. Luckily for Kaido, his enemies would rather fight each other than him – this allowed him even more time to deal with his opponents one-by-one.

The situation around them has devolved into a delicate situation, where perhaps the marines are likely to see the bigger picture. The end of the fight. Even if Kaido himself were to be defeated, the second half of the fight would immediately begin. The marines wouldn’t let go of a chance to take down the remaining pirates, and so neither would the pirates would give up the opportunity to take the throne and Wano. Kaido is aware of this, the longer the fight goes – the worst it is for the four of them as they are likely to simply fight each other for that one chance. Yet unsurprising for the Yonko, La Spada would attack him instead.

La Spada would continue from the stage of which Gambit has set up for, likely even stealing the spotlight from the Prince. Souls would arise upon the command of La Spada, swimming around – some would even pass through Kaido’s body presumably harmlessly. Yet La Spada’s movements and her shield’s capability would allow her to defend against such an attack with ease, quickly weaving towards Kaido as fast as she could. She would swing her sword as she got close, yet Kaido is faster than her, despite the attempts where her plan to turn the kanabo against Kaido, the man have absolutely monstrous strength, simply trying to wiggle out from his grasp would been difficult if not impossible unless an attempt to wrestle with it is done via external means. Despite the presumed darkness, they are only covered by bats flapping about, light still persist even though sun has only just set, the fog has already been cleared upon the numerous tornadoes and even before that, the obscurities have been cleared away. Yet it was that mere distraction of his kanabo moving against him that allowed La Spada’s plan to succeed.

The ice would freeze onto the kanabo, as La Spada aims to destroy Kaido’s weapon, it would break as much as any ice would do so. But Kaido wouldn’t let the opportunity slide. Merely releasing his weapon, his fists became claws and all he needed to do so is to turn. Kaido may utilize his kanabo a lot, but he is still a user of the Zoan Devil Fruit, he could fight with his natural weaponry instead. And thus with a mere turn at incredible speed, Kaido would easily catch up to La Spada, and with Haki enhancing his physical strength further, his claws grab onto La Spada’s leg – held tight to prevent her from escaping his clutches.

“Wororororo….! Speaking as if the fight is already over!”

In the next moment, cloud of flames would emerge around La Spada, obscuring her sight – causing her to feel as if she is to float rather than falling with gravity. But the clouds weren’t just meant for this – they were clouds, but flames and they would serve as a form of prison for La Spada, engulfing around her en masse. She would find the cloud does not possess any other forms of offensive abilities, but she would merely float around with her fiery prison. Kaido would let go of her, before speaking once more.

“None of you will be a King, none of you will be Joy Boy. I AM JOY BOY! WORORORORO!”

Without further hesitation, Kaido immediately fires another Bolo Breath, this time wisp of black energies could be seen accompanying it – showing a Haki-enhanced breath as it would fire straight towards La Spada. Not only that, Kaido would continue firing the attack as he turns as well – forcing the breath of fire towards Kallavan whilst his likely to be distracted, aiming to take both opponents out in a single move.

A battle for the ages. A world-changing event. For something to be described as such, what did it need? It needed many a thing. Powerful individuals involved. Great things at stake. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A grand stage. The battle of Onigashima had all of those things.

Powerful individuals they were. Yonkou Kaidou. Potential future Yonkous La Spada and Gambit. Marines of the highest caliber, Leo and Kallavan.
Great things were at stake. Would the strongest creature on earth perish?
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity it was. Would Yonkou Kaidou prevail and move a step closer to becoming the Pirate King? Or would La Spada and Gambit dethrone him? Or, perhaps, would they all come to drink sake together in Impel Down? Who knew...
A grand stage. This, it definitely was. The sun was setting. Screeching bats by the millions filled the skies, courtesy of Gambit. The grounds of Onigashima turned into a graveyard of bones, with angry souls flying about, courtesy of La Spada. A hell on earth. A man turned into the sun, that was Leo. A man turned into the grandest of beasts the world has seen, the mighty dinosaurs. That was Kallavan.

But more than it was epic, the fight was complicated. No one here was a true ally, save for Leo and Kallavan. Kaidou was exploiting this for now, holding his own. Gambit attacked, unleashing powerful flying slashes toward everyone on the battlefield. More fire orbs appeared behind Leo and then blitzed forward toward the flying slashes that were heading toward Leo. The fire orbs and the flying slashes would collide and the former would erupt into yet another massive inferno, the two attacks subsiding. Leo, looking around the battlefield, activated his Kenbun-shoku no Haki, his eyes glowing a subtle red and orange for a moment.

In his mind's eye, seeing the future for a moment, Leo foresaw Gambit attempting an assassination of Kallavan. A pirate he was. Whether Kallavan could deal with the surprise attack on his own or not was anyone's guess, but Leo would act nonetheless. While in his Amaterasu form, Leo disappeared from his location, combining Soru with Geppou as well as fire propulsion, making for a Kamisori of great speeds. He appeared inbetween Kallavan and the invisible Gambit in a crouched stance, with his right fist pointed toward Gambit as Gambit's claw was coming for his gut.

Fire Blast!

Leo makes fire erupt from his body in all directions. Due to the blast behind the fire explosion, the fire carries concussive force, allowing Leo to blow his surroundings away from himself. Rank B. Moderate burn.

DPR: 120: 7. Town Level + B:+2 + COA: +2 = 11. Small Country Level

A powerful blast of concussive heat and fire erupted from Leo and his right fist, mostly in a forward direction toward Gambit. Gambit's claw would clash with the blast for a moment, before ripping through it. Gambit's claw would come ripping into Leo's gut, while Leo's left hand caught onto Gambit's arm by the forearm. The stab was not very deep, for much of Gambit's attack had lost its power in its clash with Leo's own... and yet, the fact that Gambit's claws were now ripping into Leo's stomach was an undeniable one.

But, Gambit was in for a rude awakening. He was a flamboyant man, who loved to proclaim outrageous things, such as his own Kingship. It was that charisma, that allowed him to have many followers that would lay down their very lives for him. But now was no time to fool around like that. Gambit was staring ''the sun'' into his eyes. Touching Leo in his Amaterasu form inflicted severe burns. And Gambit's very arm was caught inside this God of Fire, with his forearm also grabbed tightly by Amaterasu's hand of fire.

Get ready to burn, pirate. Fire Aura!

Leo unleashes an aura of fire that surrounds him, making it dangerous to get too close to him. Rank C (minor burn), B (moderate burn), or A (major burn), depending on intensity of fire. Aside from the fact that Gambit's arm was trapped inside the sun, a powerful aura of fire now erupted from Leo as well, engulfing Gambit, who was trapped at point blank range. This fire burned even hotter, for it was blue in nature - Leo's Awakening. Much like his flames of Amaterasu, this blue fire also inflicted severe burns.

As this was happening, and Gambit was facing a literal inferno, a sneaky follow-up attack was prepared. Leo's fiery aura covered it from the front, so unknown to Gambit, Leo had opened up a hole replacing his whole chest, thanks to his intangible body (like how Aokiji opened up a hole in his own chest to let Whitebeard's Haki-enhanced bisento pass through). Kallavan, who was behind Leo, could use that opening to strike through Leo, and into Gambit.

@Sea (Akira)

The vessel was burning, and now it started falling apart. The jaws of the inferno were becoming too strong, and the webs spread all over were a kind that fed the flames quickly. Black Maria had been fighting smartly, and the advantage was starting to tip in her favor, despite the fact that Akira was likely a stronger combatant. However, she did find herself in a situation. It was a decisive moment when she had to abandon the vessel, and for that, she had backed up all the way to the edge of the deck. Akira, well aware that he was in a hurry, but also well aware that he had an opportunity here, did not let up, and continued his relentless attack. Spinning and wielding his katana, Akira unleashed a flying slash that would come with a physical slash of the blade as well.

Black Maria, wielding her flaming wheel weapon, imbued it with black Busou-shoku no Haki and swung it. Tapping into the power of her Zoan-type Devil Fruit and putting all the physical strength that it granted, toward this attack, Black Maria struck a powerful blow, knowing how important it was.

The flaming wheel polearm struck against Akira's attack. The two weapons made contact for a moment, clashing equally, but once again Akira's attack prevailed, parrying Black Maria's weapon upward. This opened her up to a kick, which Akira landed, blowing her off the deck. But, now was the moment.

Black Maria threw her flaming wheel polearm at Akira, forcing him to deal with it. With her now free arm, she unleashed a large spider's web. Like a large curtain, it would aim to come down on Akira and the entire vessel. The thick spider's web, imbued with black Busou-shoku no Haki, aimed to prevent Akira from following her.

Her other web, from her other hand, which was attached to her own vessel, started to pull Black Maria away and up toward the deck of her own vessel.

@Gambit (Namor)

Blow for blow, the two powerful Fishmen clashed. First, Namor had unleashed a powerful stab with his trident, an attack that Jack parried with his own weapon, blowing Namor back. Jack was the one who attacked next, rushing Namor and descending upon him with a powerful swing of his mammoth trunk. This time, it was Namor who parried, spinning his trident and creating a strong force that pushed Jack and his trunk backward, causing him to backpedal a few feet. Now, it was time for Namor to attack, continuing the spinning of his mighty trident and gathering spinning momentum. He launched toward Jack, aiming to plow through him like an unstoppable vortex.

Jack, wielding his two strange weapons in hand, jumped toward Namor and spun around. As he spun, he swung his two blades in a circular fashion, unleashing a powerful tornado around himself. A calamity that only an ancient beast could unleash.

(Not sure how you started with DPR 7, as that would mean Namor's strength is 120, which it is not. So I'll assume your final DPR is 13, not 14.

Namor's vortex came clashing against Jack's tornado. The two spinning attacks persisted for a few moments, battling for supremacy, until both blew apart, and both of the Fishmen were blown backward, coming to a stop with a good distance between them.

You're pissing me off, little one. Get ready to be stomped to death!

Jack said angrily, glaring. He mounted his two weapons back on his back and then suddenly started to transform, growing even greater, heavier and more muscular in size. He transformed into his full Mammoth form, imbuing his mighty trunk with black Busou-shoku no Haki. Taking off, Jack started to charge toward Namor, each of his steps causing the very ground to tremble underneath his weight.

 

[Guren]

The calm before the storm. That's what it felt like to the Vice-Admiral. And true to his instincts, a storm would come. With his relative young age compared to A - listers around him, Kallavan't wasn't exactly sure as to what they were talking about. Joyboy? What did it mean to become Joyboy? He'd have to inquire later, for combat would be upon him shortly, once again. The top of Wano Kuni had been clad with a seemingly eternal darkness, unfathomable amount of bats had covered the sky. Darkness had befell the area and Gambit would quickly go onto the offensive.

With a series of flaps from his wings, Gambit would unleash a storm of air slashes, seemingly omnidirectional. "Tekkai Kenpo: "Kyōryū Hajiki!" Kallavan shouted in response to Gambits attack. Unleashing a powerful right punch forward, so powerful in fact that it'd ripple forward, turning into a shockwave blast.

Gambit Wins Clash

Kallavan's bullet punch would disperse and destroy a large majority of the incoming slashes, but it wasn't enough to completely erase the swarm that was headed towards him. Luckily, however, his tekkai kenpo was still up and running, bestowing him heightened durability. His skin and physical might was so strong at this point that he hardly registered the remaining slashes. The clash would settle between Kallavan's body and Gambit's attack, revealing the young vice-admiral with his right arm up, burnt marks on his palm and arm reflected the damage he had sustained. A rather minimal amount that even he himself looked at in spectacle. His opponent, a would be Yonko. Did not let up after that one attack. The intent to strike was registered, but by the time he'd look into its direction, an ally had already intervened.

"Burns-san!"

Kallavan would shout as his peer had blitzed himself between Kallavan and an attack from Gambit. The Vice-Admiral stood proud and tall, burning ever so brightly. Like a vibrant star illuminating the vast darkness. From within Leo a hole would open up, allowing a window of opportunity for Kallavan to attack. Kaido, however, saw this too or by sheer coincidence attack Kallavan in this same window. There, the young vice-admiral had to find a way to attack and block at the very same time. Lest he'd be annihilated by Kaido's beam of fire, while also not taking too long for Gambits to escape.

Kallavan had looked up moments prior and deduced he had a few moments of opportunity before the massive beam would be upon him. From his right hand, the Admiral would charge up a piercing flying shigan. "Tobu Shigan!"

The flying pellet would move forward at incredible speeds and through Burns. While ordinarily not a flashy or impactful technique. In these specific circumstances, it'd be elevated to new heights. The flying air bullet would ignite or take in the intense heat that was around Burns, superheating it to an unbelievable degree. It'd be sped up and augmented beyond a regular flying shigan. Gambit, who was under the immense stress of the heat and Burn's unbelievable grip, would now find himself the recipient of a deadly strike towards his gut.

Regardless if his attack would make contact or not with Gambit, Kallavan would jump up through Geppo. His might cracking the earth beneath his feet as he took off. Kallavan would widen his hands and sharpened his claws, tempering them with incredible haki. His arms were jabbed forward with amazing force and power as it clashed with the fire beam in its entirety. "Gekko Jusshigan !"

A repeat from their first round, Kallavan had struck with as much force as he could muster. His attack's force rippled into the remarkable beam of fire, softening it as well as reducing its overall attack damage. The time it took for Kaido's beam to finally pierce had reduced it enough, combined with the Admirals own attack, to turn this mighty stream to something he could endure. And endure the Admiral did.

Kaido's blast of fire would explode in mid-air engulfing the mighty Kallavan with it. With the fate of the Admiral unknown. Onlookers, Leo in particular, in all honesty. Would observe the outcome of this attack. Was Kallavan the first to fall in this nearly free for all battle? Sadly for the pirates, it wasn't.

The dust would settle through not wind but something else. As if someone had swatted the smoke away, it'd reveal the results of the clash between Kaido and Kallavan. An almost polar opposite from round one. Back then, Kallavan had been severely wounded. But now, besides his body covered with minor burnt marks, there was barely a scratch on the man. Only his clothing had taken a turn for the worst. Most of his upper body had been burnt up in the attack. The air around Kallavan had been superheated by the bolo breath, lighting still crackled around him. The force at which he had clashed with was something he never thought plausible in his life. Yet here he was, standing amongst the greats this world had to offer.

" That the best you can do?"

Kallavan sneered, as geppo held him afloat. His expression coupled with a mighty grin would send out a ripple to Kaido and to anyone else that stood around Kallavan. A mighty pressure that'd most likely not affect them. But it'd send out a message.

The king of the beasts was his to take.

The opportunity Akira hoped for have arrived, as the boy managed to not only forced Black Maria hurled to the edge of the boat but also landed the kick – allowing him to kick her off the deck. It was the time. Yet the woman wasn’t done yet – she would throw the polearm towards Akira, abandoning her weapon to force Akira out. This would force Akira to deal with the attack, which the boy would quickly blocked the incoming attack. Webs would come afterwards, but Akira knew he has only one chance to catch her, blocking the weapon has already cause him to lose the momentum, and without any footholds he ought to fall with gravity soon. But Black Maria made a mistake, the boy quick thinking has led to do perhaps the most instinctual action. Guiding the thrown polearm with his blade, Akira pushed the weapon down then upwards flipping the polearm to ensure the face would… face down, and thankfully with the large weapon Maria has, Akira would step onto the back of the wheel.

Even though, it shouldn’t be able to generate a proper foothold, the small kinetic energy tosses upwards generated a small opening for the weapon to act as one. And with the foothold available for him. Akira did two things. With the foothold, Akira perform the same Soru-esque technique at that instant, to blitz forward towards her – and with the web Akira would immediately slash at the incoming webs, his blade glowed in red as he did so – which would ultimately break apart the webs.

With the webs out of the way, Akira would land onto Black Maria’s large body presumably her large spider legs with by her spider back. Even with the face on her spider half of her body, it is unlikely to be able to move and attack, and as such it is more likely that Akira worries about her webs and arms more. And considering she is webbing away even if the face is capable of attacking or shooting webs, if Akira managed to get behind her back she should be unlikely to do anything until she reaches the ship.

Should her ship be in sight, Akira would immediately make one more jump off her back and towards the ship, presumably when it is in jumpable distance for the boy. Akira has no need for Black Maria however, for when he does make the jump – the boy would immediately fire a circular air blade vertically down, aiming to cut her webs off and fall into the sea as Akira would likely instead land upon the ship. Regardless of whether he managed to do so or not, the boy should finally be on the enemies’ ship, and that would be Orochi’s and Black Maria’s demise.

A fortress that has been reigning for years suddenly faces a threat when the most powerful individuals arrived. An emperor that has been ruling the fortress was suddenly plucked into a situation that would decide his own fate.

Kaido, the king of all beasts, a mythical dragon of the east mustered his might to make a statement. Leonard and Kallavan, a couple of marine champions, extended their virtue to bring forth justice. Isis and Landayan, bold and arrogant, pirates destined to shape the world with horror and terror. Together, they unloose evil. Each moment becomes hell in all of Onigashima. An inevitable fate everyone in attendance has long been transcribed onto an old parchment awaits.

"Bastarda!", he directed to the evil witch and jester.

"Eat this with your foul trap! Muahahahaha!!!", he furthered as he unleashed a barrage of wind scythes toward everyone. An untenable parade of prowess.

Both Kaido and La Spada danced with the wind, dodging the scythes with minimal difficulty. A grand expose of their improbable speed. The duo of Vice-Admirals on the other hand, each projected their signature brands. Leo cast his own elemental orbs, parrying equally with the air slashes, exploding upon contact. Kallavan, likewise swung his fist through the wind with his sturdy knuckles, diffusing the demonic attack.

But Gambit hurdled the passage of light with his knights of the night, capitalizing on the atmosphere. Darkness emerged and so he fused. Seemingly disappearing from sight, like a bullet, he punched through the air, whistling. With his, a dashing rampage of his claws is coming for Kallavan but impeding as ever, Leo Burns interfered.

"?!!"

A vigorous blast of fire erupted from his fist, clashing briefly with the Prince's claw before the latter ripped through it, meeting the Vice-Admiral's gut. Albeit a shallow puncture is made, a success it was. He grinned as he looked at the aftermath of the attack. However, as he did, the triumph wouldn't last long for the marine swiftly invoked a follow-up attack. An attack that he would have seen had he been more careful and less arrogant. Burns, like his own family name burnt even more like a blue star. Gambit's pupils narrowed and seemed to flee from the expanding whites of his eyes. Not because of the blue flames reflecting on his eyes but the hole he crafted. And rapidly, a tempest bullet would come piercing into it. A combination attack coming from Kallavan. The tempest wind elevated its already magnified strength because of the wind and fire fusion. Something a scientist like him should be totally aware of.

And the prince is no fool. Yes, he has always been careless but his wit and intelligence are highly regarded across the seas. A true prodigy of science and technology, a fully functioning tactician and foreteller. When he saw the hole opening and the bullet, his claws are still attacking stance. And albeit suffering from heat amidst his raid suit and power gauntlet, he quickly unlooses a 5-meter concentrated sphere of sonic wave off his index finger. Black Haki flirting and spiraling the projectile. This would collide with the Shigan fired by the other admiral, detonating each other.

Torrent of Terror: Gambit's most powerful ultrasonic attack. He releases an extremely concentrated and destructive ultrasonic ball (about 5 meters sphere). It is more than powerful to blast and destructs anything in its path.

As soon as the sonic projectile was released, Gambit dragged his claws down - still clad in Black Haki - from the hole and would most likely rip through the Logia user. A rupture harnessing such force enough to make a statement. And simultaneously, his other arm is up to something. This arm is the one wielding the Shield of Hades, a scientific invention of the finest caliber. At close range, the prince quickly raised this arm across the towering body of the vice-admiral in front of him, forcing out a wave of lances made of ice.

This item has the ability to harness heat energy from fire-based attacks - including his and any phenomenon that involves heat/fire. The weapon will convert it into cold particles/ice that can be launched at the opponent/s, both damaging and incapacitating them. In simplistic terms, it can be compared to how air conditioning functions but on a whole new level. Or more importantly, inspired by one of the strongest pirate commanders he witnessed in battle - La Spada and her Chill of the Underworld.

Each of the spikes is fused with Black Haki.

NOTE: IT HAS BEEN 3 TURNS SINCE I LAST USE IT. ALSO, THIS ATTACK DOES NOT ZERO OUT YOUR ATTACK, GAMBIT TAKES DAMAGE BUT HE USES THE SITUATION TO CONVERT SOME OF THE HEAT ACROSS THE BATTLEFIELD AND TURN IT INTO ICE.

Regardless of the outcome, the Vampirate Prince would kick off the entanglement by, all from the force of his former attacks and using both his feet and wings to gain distance. As he did, he recalled his conversation with Judge, explaining the durability of their raid suits. He spoke to himself, It's quite effective but Burns's fire is even hotter than before. Somehow, it still penetrates my defenses.

"It tickles", he said before the raid suit was destroyed.

Note: A+-rank Suit (requires 81 Science): Destroyed after an island level attack or 3 mountain level attacks. Gambit is also half-Lunarian so he's got +1 durability against fire.

Another flashback suddenly occurred to him after that brief clash. An 8-year old Landayan was practicing swordsmanship with his father, late King Sapiro, and General Magiting.

He asked, "Father! General!, why do you both smile when dueling against each other?"

"Young man", the responded, smiling. "When two fists meet one another, it creates a certain bond."

"That's right, young master.", General followed. "Bonds are formed not only be allies. But your rivals as well."

Both King and General: "When bonds are formed, you and your opponent become brothers of war."​

After recalling his past, the prince of Hiraya looked at Leo, the vice-admiral that he fought twice in his lifetime. As he stared at him, he grinned before looking at his arms that are still trembling from the previous exchanges. His skin is suffering from mild burns but for long, it should mend.

Namor's vortex of water and shockwave clashed equally against Jack's very own attack. Two fishmen commanders of significant figures in the history of piracy, killing each other not only for their masters but for their own name and fame. After the clash, Namor stared at Jack, responding to his comment, "Bring it on Jack! I am not backing down."

Jack evolved to his full beast form, now titanic in nature. An ancient mammoth he's become. But the prince of Atlantia is up to something else. They have been battling near the coast. The prince is at the advantage.

Namor harnessed the same element around his left arm, infusing them with Black Haki. Concentrated enough, he propels his left arm across the ancient beast, aiming to rupture his body with bullets made of water.

"Water Shot!"

As he did this, Namor would swing his trident around, trying to destroy the walls of the castle.

The Battle of Titans raged on. While the would-be Yonko fought both Kallavan and Leo, La Spada set her sights on Kaido himself. Through ingenuity and planning, the Grim managed to do something no one else managed to do: she destroyed Kaido’s main weapon. The Yonko’s strength did not waver, but with his main weapon destroyed, even the Yonko would be limited henceforth.

In a fit of rage, Kaido grabbed La Spada by the leg, imprisoning her in fiery clouds. The Grim acted fast, imbuing her blade with the Chill and slashing the clouds apart with relative ease. However, upon cutting them in twain, La Spada saw the fire collecting in Kaido’s mouth. The prison was weak, but it prevented a dodge; it was too late now.

La Spada rose her blade backhanded, quivering with soul and spirit to intercept the fire attack.

[La Spada] ”Yomi Yomi no Mi: Soul Parade!”​

Kaido’s Fire overwhelmed the Chill and the defensive maneuver, breaking through. If it was not a Top 12, the blade would have snapped. The remaining blast of fire slammed into La Spada and blew her towards the giant skull at blurring speeds. The Grim’s body went through the top of the cranium, falling to the giant skeleton mouth. La Spada’s boney body stood charred, smoke steaming from it, unmoving. La Spada’s bones stood cracked in various points. The Grim had not been this wounded in years. A voice cackled with glee.

[Queen] “Gyahahahaha! And stay down, you bitch!”​

[La Spada] “Shut up, yah’ fat fuck. ‘Fore I send yah’ rolls back to Hell…”​

Queen’s laughter comically cut off, groaning. The Grim’s body lifted itself off the ground. Again, that voice inside of her echoed with incredible wanting. La Spada looked upwards, seeing the King of Beasts through the hole. The woman licked her now cracked bones on her mouth and leaped back into the battlefield.

The Grim landed near the three other Legendary Challengers and spoke with a demeaning tone, addressing their in-fighting.

[La Spada] “Would yah’ insufferable children stop bickering?”​

By fate and hate, the four stood in arms against the Yonko, now angrily staring them down. Bickering between them past. Now, Kaido had gotten serious, albeit it without a weapon. Round 2 was upon them. Battle of Titans continued.

First to La Spada whom upon dealing with the prison of flaming clouds would find herself hit by the attack – a devastating breath of fire which would overwhelm La Spada, that only her chilling attack would mitigate the strength of the attack – enough for her to survive the attack with wounds and burns, bones charred from the intensity of the flames. The next target is Kallavan, whom together with Leo and Gambit took on their own fight in the middle of everything, ensuring Kaido’s attention is well spread out for the time being. The breath would clash with Kallavan’s defensive attack, yet would find himself overwhelmed, but mitigated most of the power of the breath – enough for the marine to shrug it off with ease – slightly similar to La Spada, but to a lesser degree, Kallavan was only slightly burned. Through the shenanigans of the trio fighting each other – this has led to more bickering within each other, as seen with La Spada’s words. Kallavan would only serve to taunt Kaido, lightning crackles at the superheating of the air – a by-product of Kaido and Leo’s capabilities but for now mainly from Kaido himself, but soon Kallavan would find that situation not so humorous later on.

“Worororo! You talk too much for a little brat whom still needs babysitting!”

Kaido would laugh at Kallavan’s attempt – simply making a retort back at Kallavan, while it is indeed that Kallavan has grew, the Yonko has not seen Kallavan fighting on his very own. He has help whenever the Yonko encounters him. He is not impressed by the marine so far. Gambit would have started his own attack, a barrage of ice spears towards the two marines – presumably which would either be dodged or dealt with on their own. Kaido intends to ensure the bickering continues, and to ensure that neither side achieved an advantage over the other. It is not just Kaido that had to keep his attention with all of them, but the rest of them have to do the same as well – with only the marines have the advantage of having their backs together. And with Gambit’s attack, Kaido took the chance to attack the marines.

Blitzing towards the three of them this time round, Kaido made his way towards Kallavan – as the barrage of ice aims towards the marines. By the time Kaido would close the gap between them, the attack would not just already have been dealt with but even if it isn’t the time it took for Kaido to reach there would mean the ice would have already gone through the distance, thus the Yonko would been safe from Gambit’s attack.

Lightning would crackle around Kaido’s right claw – one that would been to show not just Haki is used, but that Conqueror’s Haki has been imbued onto it. At the very last moment where Kaido would attempt to strike Kallavan however, Kaido immediately changed direction – his claws swung right towards Leo instead. Five air blades would fire out towards Leo at near point blank – essentially causing the range of his attack to increased deceptively, each of it imbued with the same black coating of Haki and the same lightning that crackles around his claw. Kallavan however wasn’t left out by Kaido by any means, by turning around, Kaido slammed his large tail right at Kallavan, which would likely force him to react to the tail. Expecting some form of resistance, Kaido expected not just the marines, but the pirates to do the same – using larger attacks to try take out their opponents in one-go, and Kaido is merely waiting for it.
