A truly haunting affair.

The cackles grew loud and mad. The plume of poison mist spread, and with it, a sense of dread. Anubis, from high in the trees and out of the brunt of the smog, coughed. Even he began to see blurry. While Pedro came to the eerie realization, Monji would not think such. His mind was taken by the Sulong transformation, vexed. The transformed Mink would continue his rampage. While La Spada’s head was connecting, still vulnerable, Monji rushed The Grim, his attacks relentless, seeking La Spada’s body.

There was still no resistance. Only La Spada’s spirit, her will, her armor of haki enveloping her body. The blows hit La Spada’s body, forcing the skeleton to make small indents in the tree with each blow. La Spada’s likeness on the tree was marked. Yet, that cackle only grew louder. When Monji slowed, he’s find the skeletal body had disappeared in a near instant, leaving behind a chilling whiff of mist. An iai move.

La Spada re-appeared behind Monji. It would take a few dramatic seconds of realization. The Grim held her Sandai Kietsu blade out in front of her, the spirit that was previously on her body infused on the blade, now slowly being sheathed.

[La Spada] "Hanauta Sancho… Yahazu Giri!!!!”
When the blade was sheathed, a delayed slash would appear. La Spada had careened past Monji and attempted to slash his body from right hip to left shoulder in one powerful diagonal slash. The Grim grinned. Her words would reflect the aim of her blade - she avoided vital spots to faint but not kill. The reason was simple.

[La Spada] “Oh, yah’ won’t die today. No… yah’ shall live and live long. Live to see yah’ beloved homeland ravaged!”
La Spada cackled in the now billowing smog. Nemesis The Leech had burrowed underground, leaving a tunnel. From the tunnel’s opening, gas was being released, now blanketing the area significantly, seeking to disable Pedro. Nemeis’ followed the sound of La Spada’s cackles.

Hanauta Sancho: Yahazu Giri ("Three-Verse Humming: Arrow-Notch Slash"): The user slashes an opponent at such a fast pace that it appears that they did not attack at all. Only when a certain amount of time has passed, which is approximate to the time the user walks ten feet away, or three verses, does their opponent realize the attack. It seems to employ elements of iai. The actual attack itself, however, is never seen clearly due to the speed implemented.

Zou Defense #10 @Ichimonji

Monji lost himself in the fury, repeatedly striking his foe an extended period of time. He barely noticed that what his target was barely giving any resistance to his punches, instead passing them on to the tree behind. Only once Spada disappeared, his energy nearly gone from his frail, old body, did he realize that something was wrong. But he was already dead.

Even as his lower body remained standing did his upper body fold over and fall to the ground. His white fur from his Sulong form receded, both returning to its normal reddish hue, as well as stain a dark red as blood flower out over his body. He wanted to apologize to those he had failed, but the only thing that escaped his mouth was even more blood. Flowing like an approaching mist, the poisonous gas quickly enveloped him, acting like a mild anesthetic, reducing his pain. His legs finally gave out, collapsing next to his upper body, his mind fading to darkness, his body engulfed in poison.

In the trees up above Pedro finally broke out of the foliage for a split second, his eyes seeking the sky above. He found what he was looking for immediately, seeing the moon in its glorious splendor shining down on the world below. The sensation that washed over him was one he knew, but still made him feel uneasy. The fear was pushed down, his senses enhanced. He felt most parts of his body stretching out, his limbs and torso, neck and fingers. Claws grew into talons and his fur into a wild, white and black spotted mess of hair that trailed after him.

Transformation complete, Pedro disappeared into foliage again, his Sulong enhancing his already impressive stealth capabilities. Soundless he descended to lower hanging branches, seeking out his target. He had not seen exactly where or who the poisonous gas came from, but he had seen the general direction. And so the hunt was on, and it did not take long to lay eyes on the gas and see the way it was flowing. With a lifelong experience of maneuvering this forest and a form that perfected, he moved above the gas, against its flow. Moments later he knew he was closing in, because if he looked to the sides if flowed away from the spot in front of him, not towards him. A grin spread across his face as he fidgeted inside his pocket, bringing out a row of dynamite.

Of course he didn't want to cause unneeded harm to Zunisha, so he only selected half of the dynamites, putting the rest back into the resting spot. It was at this point he reached the center of the gas, however he saw no object or person producing the gas, instead it looked as if it was spewing out of the ground. Perhaps there was a machine buried there? Either way there was no way of knowing if he could reach whatever it was, but his dynamite should if nothing else, seal up the gas. With a flick of a match, he lit the fuse, dropping the row of dynamites into the hole, highly flammable rope still lit as it disappeared into the thick, purple fog.

Even disregarding his own life, Pedro knew he had to get away, as he carried the other half. So barely looking to make sure it fell true, he continued to run forwards, leaping from tree to tree, no longer caring about remaining hidden, only about escaping the explo- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Fire rose in a pillar towards the sky, engulfing and obliterating several nearby trees and catching even more on fire. Even at his safe distance, Pedro stopped, feeling the heat washing over him.

(This is how big explosion Pedro's full set of dynamite causes, ship bottom right for reference.)
1159
Back in his bed Inuarashi woke up, leaping from his bed and striding across the cold floor. Mere moments later he stood on his balcony, looking across the forest towards the fire in the distance. Send a messenger and ask the Duke if he requires backup. He spoke to Shishilian even without looking to the other mink, who had arrived moments before. The lion mink bowed and departed. Knowing he couldn't rest, the old dog mink sat down in his seat.

A ghastly response. La Spada’s boney boody was imprint on the tree. Suddenly, a mist passed Monji and the Grim struck. The blade found it’s target. The beast-man fell. La Spada had missed his vital spots intentionally - she wanted Monji to live and suffer. How long that would be was anyone’s guess as the poison smog infected. In the trees, Anubis could not see properly. He tried to keep his composure, but his advanced senses could not let him see not move through the thick smog. All he heard were La Spada’s manic laughs - he knew that sound too well.

Pedro took a similar transformation as Monji. He moved through the sickening thick smog like a shadow. The hole dug and moved towards La Spada was found. Dynamite was shoved inside. In the hole, the leech’s beady eyes glowed red, sensing the terrible intent from above, and the image of the explosion. The leech suddenly enlarged to cover the entire hole, blowing up like a blowfish, the end of the hole where the explosion was incoming cast in dark haki.

[La Spada] "How rude… truly. Leaving the party so soon?
In the thicket of the aftermath of the explosion, the ghastly figure of a skeleton appeared. The explosion had blown La Spada’s cloak off, showing now her mafia-style clothing. Again, her incredible durability showed. She sensed Pedro long in the distance - too far to chase now. The explosion had dispersed the smoke. A quiet painful shrill echoed. From the ground, Nemesis was unearthed. La Spada gently took the leech from the ground, admiring the cuts on its body, the burns, and wounds. The leech shrieked in pain.

A gentler eerie voice came.

[La Spada] “Rest now, mah’ dear. Mama will take things from here.”
La Spada placed Nemesis on her skeleton chest. The leech trembled as the air made his skin scales and sting. The leech began eating the Grim’s skin once more. Wounded and out for the foreseeable future, Nemesis rested. As the doctor, the leech tended to his wounds, using regeneration shots from his teeth. Yet, he would soon sleep, out of commission.

Awoken was La Spada’s killing intent, now having a clear target. The woman walked in the direction where Pedro walked. Anubis followed in the distance, trying to get his senses back.

Sound the horn. Zou was in sight.

Doku Fugu (literally translated as "Poison Blowfish"): Taking a deep breath, Magellan inflates his body slightly in order to withstand a physical blow. This is apparently strong enough to withstand against a Gear Second attack. This technique is named after the poison blowfish and its defensive ability against predators. Its principle is similar to Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Fusen technique.

Don’t have a DPS for the explosion, so RPing it as best as I am able. Reach out if any issues.

Regeneration Shot:
The medic can administer this to their target, regenerating damaged allies. It regenerates 100 per turn on the ally up to 200. The medic can carry Mastery/60 regeneration shots. Can only be applied to the same person once per 'arc'.
To heal each part the user need to fill up the numbers.

The great elephant shook from the blast, stopping in its tracks for a moment to steady its feet. Then, after a moment of stillness the great beast let out an earsplitting cry of pain. If there were any minks left asleep after the explosion, they bolted from their cots. Zunisha was in pain, they would defend their home, customs be damned. Back on his terrace, only a moment after sending Shishilian off to request permission to join the battle, did Inuarashi change his mind. Heading back inside, he started preparing. Minutes later he appeared outside his house, dressed in full armor and carrying his weapons. Before him stood a small army of minks, his musketeers, ready for battle.

Whale Forest

As the explosion scattered before Pedro, as did he poison fog. Fires spread throughout the forest, an unruly contrast to the soft moonlight. Pulling his sword from its sheath again, landing on the ground and facing towards the way he had come from. He would not run, not now. He was better than that. Come, you fiend.

And as if his words summoned the foe, Spada emerged in front of the jaguar mink, smoke curling around her form. The glow of the fires gave her a terrifying hue as she strode forward, encapsulating the killing intent she was emanating. But Pedro stood his ground, the hair on his back standing straight up.

Meanwhile, a bit of a distance beyond her Anubis walked, lagging behind, disoriented. As he was focused on following his captain and his senses not back to full, it was possible he wouldn't notice the new arrival until it was too late. Bursting free from the smoke that surrounded him, a large figure moved with a fierce determination(115 movement speed). The fur danced on Nekomamushi, white as the moon that shone down from above. With a hand that crackled with electricity, coated in blackness that looked as if it didn't belong on the body, the cat mink tried to strike the side of his foe's torso(91 strength + 2 from haki + 3(A- rank) = Island Level).
Cat Claw Strike!

Zunisha

Meanwhile the great elephant regained its composure from the blast, yet could still feel the fires that raged on her back. Sticking its trunk into the ocean, Zunisha sucked up great amounts of seawater. With a single move the elephant flipped the trunk upwards, expelling all the water over its back, sending large amount of sea water washing over the land of Zou, washing away the flames and any unsuspecting invaders.

Sound the horn. Through the flames and the thinning smog, La Spada walked decisively inward, death in her eyes. Roused and excited, the intent to rue the world bled. Yet, one would conquer fear. Pedro, the one who had repelled the first wave, stood his ground. The transformed man turned, his blade drawn. La Spada stopped around ten meters from the beast. Her mouth curled a satisfied grin. The Grim would have the man.

La Spada drew her Nidai Kitetsu, one of 21 swords in the world,
[La Spada] “Much excited for yah’ death, mah’ dear. I will take yah’ soul to the Underworld myself. Then, I shall raid these land’s secrets.”
[La Spada] “Care to begin?”
La Spada spoke sarcastically, making a gesture to come. As the rain fell, the air around La Spada got colder from the cold of her soul. The water that desisted the fire was not growing iced. A perfect stage for the battle.

Anubis trailed. His senses began to adjust, but he was far from recovered. Though he had jumped before the fog took the group, being a mink was hindering in such situations. Drowsy, Anubis followed La Spada’s aura. Through the adjusting sight, Anubis saw a spark and an aura. The dog mink’s eyes widened, only to darken himself, yet was too disoriented to dodge or do anything else. The impact forced Anubis’ body to contort, letting out a loud pained grunt as the electricity zapped him away. Blown back by the stranger’s blow, Anubis’ body hit the ground various times before ending face-down. The mink was down for a few seconds.

A darker voice now spoke, as Anubis slowly got up, coughing blood.
[Anubis] “You fools, the lot of you! Tried to help a memory of mine long forgotten, and you attack mindless!”
[Anubis] “So be it. Assist Death.”
The dog mink slowly for up, his words said through the blood that came out of his mouth. The mink panted, his knees shaking. The man’s aura had shifted. There was no choice now. With a gentle move, the dog mink looked at the moon. His eyes glowed, a growling came, and his fur changed white. For the first time in decades, the Undertaker would rise.

A battle of Sulongs to hail.

Remember it's mindless sulong up to 100 mastery

Pedro felt the spray of salty water fall down on him. Although an extended rainfall might put out the fire, it stopped after only a few seconds, though it preceded salvation. He needed make sure this monster did not escape its reach, that she be carried off like the filth she was. So he needed to not allow her to move on until then. In the distance he heard its rumbling approach, the avalanche of seawater would reach the battlefield in a matter of minutes. Listening to the familiar roar approaching, he noticed a different sense closing in. Seems that cavalry would arrive. With a smile on his lips, Pedro started slowly approaching his foe, sword held ready. After only a couple steps he swung his sword horizontally, sending an airblade (B rank = Town Level) flying through the air towards the pirate.

A moment later two hulking beasts burst from the woods, one on each side. One was a bull like creature, the other a type of ape, both had twisted features and long white hair that showed that they too had already entered sulong mode. However unlike Nekomamushi and Pedro, even Monji, Roddy and Blackback were not remotely in control of themselves. They were mindless beasts of vengeance, carrying upon their backs the pain and justice of their brethren that had already fallen tonight. The gorilla mink ripped a whole tree free from its drunk in a swith move, swinging it down on Spada like a makeshift weapon.
(C rank = City block level) The bull meanwhile pulled his head back, following up after the tree strike. With the force of his entire body, Roddy thrust his horns down towards Spada, should she still be there or not.

Two more figures landed on either side of the jaguar mink, a white faun from the mythologies, as well as a rabid ape. Milky and Keith stepped up Pedro, taking in the scene before them. Waiting for the dust to settle, the jaguar did not take his eyes off the scene. He would not let Spada pass by unnoticed. He would hold her here until the cleansing wave arrived.
Yes, let's begin. He replied to what his foe had said moments before. Maybe the five of them was enough to stall her.

______________

Elsewhere in the forest Nekomamushi sneered as he saw his foe transformed, taking on the same form as himself. Pathetic. Not only dare you attack our homeland. Hissing, the cat mink leaned forwards onto all four, holding his spear in his left paw, his right paw returning to its white splendor. His hiss grew in volume until it was a fierce roar. Even for a dog, you are a shame to us minks. I will end your inexcusable existence, then toss you to the seas as a blessing to you, your shame forgotten to the world! Leaping forwards, the cat whipped his spear forwards, attempting to impale his foe through their torso.

OCC: Oh. I forgot about that. Lmao. RIP Anubis.
Zou Forest
The fights for this land would begin. In one area it was brothers foghting each other, one lost his mind to the moon and another retained it. One fighting for hate and despair, and the other one fighting to protect. The white fur grew on Anubis and he howled, echoing with the others in the island. The true words of Nekomamushi fell on deaf ears, on ears enraged.

Nekomamushi approached the beast, thrusting his spear forward. Mindless, but acting on instinct, Anubis pushed off, launching himself diagonally upward, jumping over the spear. As the spear passed below him, Anubis, who had his legs bent, kicked them down, aiming to kick the spear against the ground as it passed below him. Regardless of success, Anubis would use the movement to plant his feet and push off inside of Nero’s arm range, both his hands cuffed and punching forward aiming dead-center to Nemo’s torso, claws sharp (6. City Level).
[Anubis] “RAHHHHHHHHH!! GRAHHHHHH!!!”
The beast growled mindlessly, without techniques or haki, attacking appreciatively weaker than what he was capable without the Moon. The Moon which cursed him. Almost as if his land of birth turned against him, angry at the child who strayed.
———————-——————————————————

A battle of Sulongs to hail. La Spada stared down Pedro, her laughter mad and cacklin, echoing through the area. A more tactful approach was more suitable, yet the woman was not so. The Grim craved chaos. Chaos found in splilt blood under the moonlight battlefield. The rain that poured, while slowing, was emboldened with low temperature emanating from La Spada; the Chill of the Underworld turned the water into the ground malleable, water around her crystalizing in ice. You’re gonna catch a cold from the ice inside La Spada’s soul. (🎼)

La Spada gently ducked to allow the horizontal airblade to pass above her, cutting some stray hairs off her long luscious black hair. Roars of battle came from the trees, leaving no time to dodge. The Grim chuckled, raising her hook up as she straightened to block the incoming tree, tearing the tree into pieces, the pieces falling harmlessly. At the same time, La Spada raised her other hand, her right who held her Nidai Kitetsu, in a backhand position against the bull’s horn. The blade was held horizontally to make impact with both horns. With the power of soul, the blade aimed to stop the charge while freezing the bull, fusing him to the blade, spreading to his head.

[La Spada] “Tut. Tut. Tut. Tut. Allow me to put yah’ soul to rest, my weary child… SPIRIT GUN!!”
Wasting not time, La Spada had curled the finger outward on her blade towards Blackback. Through the ice, a fist-sized blast of soul filled with invisible will aimed to pierce Blackback’s head. If successful, La Spada would attempt to flip Blackback. Morbidly, La Spada would then stab the beast‘s back with her sharp hook. It would potentially leave the beast hanging like a shield. A shield La Spada proudly displayed to his opponents - to lower their morale. They could likely stall; La Spada was playing with them. No tact, no strategy, just bloodlust.

The Grim’s heavy thick accent echoed through the maddening cackles as she swooned over her newfound equipment.

[La Spada] “Sturdy. Makes for a good shield, wouldn’t yah’ agree? Kuhahahahahaha!”

Nekomamushi soared through the air, his spear shooting towards his foe, its brilliant bladed point seeking to skewer the other mink and drive him from his lands. However, transformed similarly to how the duke was, Anubis crested the attack. Striking downward with his legs, the intruder ripped the weapon from Nekomamushi’s hands, sending it towards the ground, discarded and already forgotten.

Touching down before the cat mink Anubis pushed inwards, animalistic instincts seemingly took over as he moved with the grace bestowed upon him by the grace of the moonlight. With hands moving together he moved inside the reach of Nekomamushi’s arms, bearing down upon him with claws like scythes, aiming to tear and cut him apart. Striking forward, he moved with reckless abandon, dragged along by the primal beast he had unleashed from within himself, placing himself within the jaw of the beast that would devour him whole.

You poor, wretched beast. What are you? Nekomamushi said, his every word enunciated by the barely constrained rage that coated his words, dripping with malice. Who was this fool, this traitor to the minks, who dared climb Zunisha? Who dared bring an outsider into their lands? Who brought death and carnage on their homes? Who left fellow minks dead as refuse spread across the forest floor as if they were mere fertilizer?

Nekomamushi steeled his stomach, coating it in his indomitable spirit that belonged to and defended the nation of Zou, his haki. His fur bled from white to black, as he bore the brunt of the strike. Although it strengthened his defense, it still left him vulnerable to the strike. His blood splattered upon the ground, yet it was nothing compared to what was to come. It was but a shallow wound, barely cutting beneath his thick fur. Seeping through the white fur beneath it painted a grisly image, one of savage contrasts.

While Anubis had struck forward, striking Nekomanushi at what he had likely hoped would be his core, perhaps hoping to disembowel him, he had placed himself at the most precarious of situations. His hands free, they hovered on either side of the jackal, claws sharp as daggers extended and ready to pounce. The jaws of fury, his hands that carried the vengeance of the nation they stood upon, snapped shut. Nekomamushi’s arms swung inwards, aiming to grab ahold of the other mink, whose mind seemed lost to the moon, his mind not trained to harness its power.

Dead. The duke spoke the single word as an answer to his question asked rhetorically only moments before. Should his move be successful, he would the channel electro that the moon bestowed him and the spirit that carried the weight of Zou to disarm his foe, literally. His blackened hands crackled with electricity as they attempted to grab and rip Anubis’ arms from his torso, pulling from between his elbows and shoulder. (A+2(haki)=Island level)

__________________________

Pedro could only watch as the avatar of death, the bringer of carnage continued her onslaught. The tree that Blackbeard wielded, used as a crude makeshift weapon to strike at the intruder, was ripped apart and tossed aside as if it was mere firewood once it made contact with La Spada's hook. With swift strikes that barely registered to Pedro’s eyes she repelled the strike and neutralized the threat as if she had no care in the world. Sword held in her other hand she stopped the rush of Roddy, quite literally freezing him in place, the chill summoned from the depths of the underworld spreading from her arm onto her blade and leading onto the bull mink’s horns.

Frost spread as if it were its antithesis, wildfire. Traveling along the sharp, curved horns it carried with it a visible white layer of crystals, freezing them to the core. Even within his animalistic state the huge mink felt the touch eating away at his nerves, quickly making its way towards his head. Perhaps by fear, by instinct or a split second of lucidity Roddy pulled back with all his strength. His horns however were frozen to the blade that had blocked his strike, and it would not let go. Yet his will was stronger than the dead bonelike protrusions that jutted from atop his head. A snapping sound sounded through the clearing of the battle between the minks and the skeletal enemy as his horns broke off at the base, sending the bull mink stumbling backwards, away from La Spada, crying in pain at the shock and loss of the extensions of himself.

Yet the foe was unrelenting, moving on to focus the gorilla mink whose weapon had been blown aside like leaves before the stormwind. Seeing his foe aiming her finger towards his face, Blackbeard’s primal rage was tempered and channeled only through fear of seeing his weapon neutralized and his friend broken by her touch, he was moved by instinctual fear of a predator far above himself. His hands still hurting from the impact he tossed himself aside, the chilling blast missed its initial mark, yet Blackback cried out in agony, his voice carrying far across the forest.

Falling to the ground he reached up to feel his right shoulder, yet he only felt cold. The strike had pierced him just below his shoulder, then frozen the limb from its core and outwards. He felt nothing beyond his shoulder, the nerves frozen beyond their capability to feel pain. Frozen solid his tissue tore and broke as he landed and tried to touch his arm. The shock of the injury and severity of its impact quite literally shocked him out of his frenzied state, his white fur retracting and returning to its dark form. Coming to a proper state of lucidity he could do nothing but crawl backwards away from La Spada, holding onto his wounded shoulder with his free hand, hoping it would not fall off completely.

Milky let out a terrified yelp, covering her mouth at the shock of the situation that unfolded before her. Keith cursed beneath his breath, taking a step backwards. Yet Pedro remained firm in his conviction, his hands, though trembling from the pressure, held his sword firmly. Stepping forwards he called out to his remaining two allies, trying to rally their spirits.
Do not give in to this demon, the moment we falter, Zou falters with us!

On either side of him the two minks gathered themselves, still frightened, but spirits renewed and fortified by the words of their fellow guardian. Should they give way there would no longer be anything left to guard.

The enraged dog mink howled in the moonlight. Cursed by the mother who hexed the boy that raised his hand against her. Enraged, and not knowing what he was doing, the mink was handicapped. The white furred monster acted in instinct and evaded Nekomamushi’s initial attack, kicking the weapon down with great aplomb. Inside the cat man’s arm, the beast would not waste a second, pushing off and attacking point-blank, aiming to ravage the lion’s mid-section. Partly successful, for the blow landed, yet was not decisive. Anubis kept, in his rage, attacking forward where he had hit, unable to feel, sense, or perceive the counter-attack.

The lion mink closed his fangs, grabbing the mink by the arms. Powerful electricity forced the man to halt his attack.
[Anubis] “RAHHHHHHHHH!! GRAHHHHHH!!! Huh?”
The last was a more human reaction, as Anubis’s eyes met with Nemo’s own. The other was enraged, but controlled, his intent clear. Anubis looked around in desperation, his eyes ending on the moon that draped over them both. For a moment, the mink could remember. Remember the image of he but a boy looking upwards at the moon. The peace it gave. The rage that would shake him awake. It was then that La Spada’s emblem, her hate, interrupted that image. To one such as him, led astray by something foul.

Anubis screamed as Nekomamushi pulled. Screamed for whomever would hear him, whether moon or Grim.

The Grim heard, but did not care. In the background, Anubis’s shrieks echoed. La Spada only slew a grin as she heard them and saw Roddy begin to freeze and Blackback wounded. A surge of adrenaline (though she has no veins, yohohoho!) took the Grim as she pushed off her back foot, closing the gap Roody created by inching back, her blade sheathed but at the ready. In a show of speed, the Grim careened past Roddy while he was still tainted by the ice. The iai attack aimed to leave theee horizontal cuts all over Roddy’s body, leaving the sign of a skull, of the Grim.

[La Spada] “Kuahahahahahaha….”

La Spada did not stop her charge. Instead, she used the momentum of her iai attack to blast her way towards Pedro and the two others, her sword now out and whirling with the Chill of the Underworld, tempered and pressurized by terrible will. The chill enveloped La Spada’s blade again and again, until it trailed behind her intoxicated. With a powerful step right in front of the three, La Spada planted her feet and slashed forward in an illustrious slash, creating a G cleft with the movement, one giant.

The woman shouted with malevolent tone as the giant cleft was birthed.

[La Spada] “Phrase d'armes: ORCHESTRA!!!”
The result would be an incredible explosion of windvane, haki and ice, forcing the very air to flutter and thunderous will to spawn. The G cleft would be giant, it’s “stomach” enough to cover Pedro and the other two whole several times. The effect in the atmosphere was significant, making it rout and freeze by the touch, turning it into a frozen wasteland in the immediate area, includ)g the targets, if successful. With Ryuo used, the target would not cut from outside, but from within, forcing the slash and ice to implode and create a sizable explosion.

La Spada had lost one temporarily and one likely permanently. The Grim was backed into a corner. The fox would bare her fangs.

The Terrible would rear its head.

Nekomamushi ripped the limbs free like a cruel child plucking the legs off of a bug they were playing with. Yet the result would be far more gruesome, sending a spray of blood through the air, splattering on the ground as wings of a fallen bird. Tossing aside the severed arms, the cat mink took another step forward, his long row of teeth curved into a half crescent of a smile, barely constraining his killing intent. His arms extended outwards, bloodied claws poking outwards and sparking with electro.

Even for a dog you are pathetic...

With both hands he swept inwards and upwards, trailing blood and sparks in a cross pattern. His claws aimed to tear into Anubis' chest, breaking through ribs and ripping out guts.(S-rank, Mountain Level) Cross Claws!

___________________________

Pedro barely had time to register La Spada cutting down Roddy, the great mink collapsing in a bloody heap on the ground. His fur receded and faded to his usual red. His foe didn't relent however, pushing ever forward, moving at speeds he could barely register, already preparing her next attack. Milky and Keith however was at even more of a disadvantage, their eyes seeing nothing more than a blur. It was over for the both of them almost before they realized they realized Spada had made her move, her movement even faster than her attacks.

Pedro felt the temperature drop tremendously as Spada continued her assault, beginning her next attack. Already as his foe slashed the air, sending her attack towards the three minks, he knew he would not walk away from this strike. Instinctively he pushed off the ground, leaping high up into the air, leaving him at least momentarily exposed, but over and to the side of the current attack, reaching inside his jacket.

Milky and Keith started to react, but far too late. A split second before the attack struck both of them began to move, only for the strike to cut into them. For a moment they stood there frozen, before ice erupted from within, red from their blood. Voiceless and lifeless they both fell to the ground, cold and dead already.

The Grim pushed forward, ignoring the screams of Anubis, his last screams. The Undertaker of the Spada Pirates would meet his end in familiar ground, in his mother’s embrace: Zou. With two fallen, Pedro jumped, avoiding certain cataclysm. La Spada had no rabid moon to make her mad - she was the moon. Her madness carried her unrelenting path of destruction. The Grim’s eyes glowed red as Pedro jumped, her mind eye tracking. To follow.

La Spada used her iai speed, a Soru-copy, to launch herself upwards. Unlike Pedro, La Spada was all bones. Her extreme lightweight allowed her to launch herself up with better agility. Appearing three meters diagonally above Pedro, looking down, La Spada spoke, revealing her position. The Grim’s right index boney finger was extended and glowing green and black, one of her signature techniques.

[La Spada] “Funny thing about hanging in tha’ air… it’s really hard to dodge!”

Truer words. With a blast of light, soul was expelled in birth, easily four times as big as Pedro, him at the epicenter. The blast was green, covered in strings of black, the woman’s will heavy. The attack fell on Pedro. It would form a considerable explosion wherever it hit. Unlike Pedro, La Spada could fly, or glide. The woman’s Lunarian wings were spread, casting a grim shadows on the wrecked ground below.

La Spada’s voice echoed, replacing Anubis’ last screams.

[La Spada] “SPIRIT GUN: CANNON!!!”

Devil’s Iai: Employing the fencing iai technique principle, the user performs a high-speed movement without a sword, creating a vacuum of speed. The user's movement speed is increased by Mastery/5. Follows Soru guidelines.
Note: This is for flavor - La Spada already has 120 speed.

La Spada DPS: 120: 5. Town Level (DF) +4 (S Rank) + 2 (CoA) = 11. Small Continent Level

Spirit Gun: The user concentrates their soul into the user's hand, releasing it through one's finger tip in the form of a blast. The blast is capable of damaging and freezing anything it hits. At 81+ mastery, the blast speed rivals a laser.
Requirements: 21 Devil Fruit, 21 Strength
Rank: C
  • Shotgun [B Rank] (51 Devil Fruit, 51 Strength)
  • Wave [A Rank] (71 Devil Fruit, 71 Strength)

Pedro was almost helpless as he soared upwards into the air, once more faced with the dread creature that had invaded their lands. His fur, already bleached white and flowing in the air now seemed to bleed its last bit of color, rising even further on his back. Teeth bared, the mink gave off an aura of fear and rage. An animal pushed into a corner, no longer having an escape, only wanting to take out the danger before him.

As Spada appeared in the air before him, finger raised as before, Pedro realized there was probably not much he could do for himself. But what he could do for Zou was another matter. Pulling free his hand that was hidden inside his jacket, he raised both arms, one holding the sword, the other holding the remaining dynamites. Held above his head and above Spada's finger, he scraped the claws that wrapped around the dynamite on the blade, sending sparks flying in the air around his hands. At the same time he loosened his hold on the dynamites, throwing them towards Spada, though at least one of them would be caught on his claws and sliced open. Sparks and gunpowder would mix just as Spada unleashed her own attack, creating two huge blasts of power, one of ice and one of fire.

1173

Regardless of the result Pedro would be flung backwards, crashing into the ground largely frozen over. The area around impact would be cleared of trees that were destroyed in the blast, which was even larger than the one before, as it was accompanied by the devastating attack from Spada herself. Whether or not Spada escape unscathed would remain unknown to Pedro, his body lay unmoving on the ground. None of the other minks rose either, all either dead or comatose.

A sole figure entered the clearing created by the explosion, hunched over and and carrying the remnants of a dead mink. If Pedro had embodied rage and fear near the end, Nekomamushi only exhuded the former. With disgust he tossed the severed head of Anubis on the ground, calling out to Spada, a deep growl accenting his voice.
I will tear your body asunder, then I will feed your bones to the mutt!

A collision of ice and fire took the sky. The resulting explosion caught both Pedro and La Spada. Though Pedro ended up on the ground, he saved Zunesha from the attack. The man had shown incredible dexterity, Will, and power, to hold off The Grim. Truly, a man worthy of the Zou land. Now, the Calvary would arrive. La Spada landed gently on the ground, having used her wings to stabilize her fall. The woman’s mafia-style body suit charred, missing a few pieces. There was dirt on her white bones, diminutive bruises on her boney legs. Yet, she seems unhindered, only standing up righteous and looking over to Pedro.

La Spada would point her finger at Pedro for the kill, before a voice rudely interrupted her. Anubis’ head rolled in front The Grim.

[La Spada] “Ohhh. Noooo!! Mah’ dear Anubis!!! What has happened to you?! PLEASE BE OKAY! PLEASEEEE!!!”

The bones, once morbid and dark, took a knee, grabbing Anubis’ head in desperation. La Spada shouted with a pedantic tone, her voice cut with pain. Comically, La Spada held Anubis’ head upwards, crying for her lost nakama, her voice shrill and desperate. The woman seemed to cry, making an overt reaction seem lively. What the lion shows in anger, La Spada showed it in remorse. An odd sight.

La Spada locked eyes with the angered lion, took a step back, and pruned her face.

[La Spada] “P-p-p-please! Don’t kill mah’ too! All I want is yah’ secrets! I-I-I’m so scared! P-p-lease, spare mah’!”
The Grim stifled laughter. She looked over to the bodies of the minks she had slain; La Spada was mocking the reaction of the monks upon seeing their slain brethren. Sad or angry. The fools. La Spada kicked Anubis’ head like a football a few meters away; complete disrespect. That stifled laughter became a rowdy cackle. Mocking.

An abomination.

Nekomamushi said nothing as the skeletal foe spoke, pretending to lament the loss of her companion. Her cries echoed across the new clearing, accented by fire crackling on debris and trees. Seemingly breaking free from her trance, she focused her attention on the cat mink and started to plead. Although he had no plans to show any mercy, Nekomamushi might have been tricked if not for her mask nearly fully breaking as she tried to stifle her laughter. Her mask broke fully, laughter cascading across the open area as the head rolled away. Disgusted by the woman, Nekomamushi almost found her disrespect for her comrades worse than her actions.

Secrets? Any mink worth the fur on their back would die before betraying our secrets to someone like you. Nekomamushi said, his voice dripping with anger, like the blood that ran from his claws that hung limply down his sides.

Kicking off the ground Nekomamushi dashed forwards, a low growl growing ever louder as he dashed towards his foe. Teeth bared spittle flew from the corners of his mouth, eyes wild and furious. His arms emitted a sparking rage, coated in darkness as if they carried his rage throughout them. Should he reach his foe before she made a move, he would aim to strike forwards, wrists places together with claws extended outwards like a ten pointed star, aiming to tear through the top of her torso.

In the near distance noise could be heard as another group approached.

Abomination. The psychological ploy in mimicking the dead while request8ng the secrets made the lion-man’s head boil. In anger, the man yelled that none would give it away. La Spada ended up in a chuckle, her mouth still mocking. The lion dashed forward, carrying that anger with him. Claws sharp, he attacked forward With both hands. To meet the force, La Spada raised flipped her golden Aegis hook and raised it, tinted green with soul, blackened with terrible will. To intercept, the claws hit the hook dead-on, causing black lightning to spawn from the impact point. One thing was shocking, Nemo’s haki was absorbed into the shield/hook. Most importantly, ice formed on the impact point, theoretically glueing Neko’s claws to the hook.

That dreaded voice echoed, eyes glowing.

[La Spada] “How ’bout sonata for Yah ’ dear fallen nakama...”
Suddenly, soundwaves exploded from behind the Aegis Hook. Point-blank. Sword held exposed behind the hook, it had a string string from pommel to blade, like a violin. La Spada’s tail strummed. There was no need for a speaker to amplify, the soul conducted in the tones were all that was needed to amplify the sound to a screeching tone. A tone of death metal. A tone of sarcastic dissonance for the mink’s fallen nakama.
[La Spada] “DEATH METAL!!
There was no blade that could block this attack. There was no counter. The soundwaves aimed to trigger internal bleeding within Neko. A strategic move, the sound not only had shockwaves, but was extremely loud, the power of the soul awakened rising it to levels inhuman. Against normal humans it would perforate. Against a cat, who can hear more than thrice than a human, amplified by the moon, and at point-blank, La Spada aimed to pop the cat’s eardrums and cause him to lose all balance. Normally, a double-edged sword. Not today. The Grim had no eardrums, no ears, though she could hear (Yohohohoho!!).

Regardless of the result, The Grim jumped back, the ice dislodging from the claws. La Spada’s Awareness blared.

Nekomamushi's strike connected with his foe, much to his own surprise. Although anger and the blessing granted to him by the moon urged the great mink forward, he had not expected it to land so easily. Only belatedly did he realize his attack had been blocked, when his hands were encased in ice. La Spada had stopped his attack effortlessly, then immobilized him. Growling, he tried to break free, but it was already too late.

The follow up hit Nekomamushi a moment later, the soundwaves crashing into his body. Yet his body wasn't blow away, it surged through his entire being before finally reaching his ears. In a flash moment both his eardrums both burst, blood spurting from his ears. Crying out, his body buckled and he fell to the ground. His white fur receded, taking on the yellow color he normally wore. His sulong transformation undone, the ice that held his hands broke, yet he did not rise, at least immediately.

At the edge of the forest a group of thirty figures emerged, several of them cringing from the sound that Spada had just created, though they were outside the dangerous area of the attack. At the head of them was Inuarashi, followed by his musketeers. Stopping at the edge of the new clearing, the new arrival of minks stood in shock. Inuarashi was the first to break free from the shock.

Collect the fallen, see if any of them can be saved. Inuarashi spoke to a group of ten low ranked musketeers. With his right hand he drew his sword, gesturing at the skeletal foe. Sicilian, Concelot, Giovanni, Wanda and Carrot, with me! The rest of you, be ready to support!

As one, the minks saluted the duke. The six officers strode forwards across the ground, ash breaking before them like grass before the wind. On the ground next to La Spada Nekomamushi stirred, seeing the new arrivals. That damn dog, does he think I need help? He tried to push himself up, through the pain, but buckled beneath the vertigo of his broken ears.

The stench of rotten permeated the clearing. The sounds of metal fluttered the airwaves. In the moonlight we’re bodies scattered, blood painted, and spirits wailing. The sounds of Death forced the lion to fall, cursing beneath his breath. La Spada’s awareness blared, sensing the figures on their way. At least one bore strength as much as the lion before her. With a quick glance, La Spada looked around her. Bodies of minks littered the area. Two in particular. Milky. Keith. The head of Anubis bore eyes wide, in shock.

A deep breath paved the way for that rotting tongue to slay words in sarcasm with that infamous manic tone, referencing how she was outnumbered.

[La Spada] “Welll, yah’ know… this is totally unfair. How about we even tha’ odds a little?”
A grin grew as wide as ever. The Grim could see the torture of mind within her grasp. If Nekomamushi looked up, he’s see the evil woman raise her hand to the sky. Green energy collected on her hand with such ferocity, it would make the air quiver. Nekomamushi could feel something familiar: the aura of those fallen stirring from the ground.

Suddenly, La Spada slammed her hand against the ground.

[La Spada] “DAWN OF THE DEAD!!”

Hell brought on earth. The ground around the hand began to wither, growing as cold as a glacier. The whole clearing withered, accompanied by a cold fog. Suddenly, the ground began to crack. From the ground, dozens of black skeletons rose up like a movie of horror, souls of dead carried within. Another aura would blare. This one angrier than the rest. Behind Nekomamushi, one skeleton in particular stood out, with fangs instead of teeth. A spirit that hated Nekomamushi. A soul revived that sought revenge. Anubis growled.

In clear sight of the lion, he’d see something unnatural. The dead began to move. Milky and Keith got up. Their eyes were as wide as they were when slain, yet their mouths stayed stoic, unable to believe it. The bodies of the minks moved on their own, now facing where the mink back-up was set to appear. The numbers evened out.

To see your comrades in death. Controlled. Welcome to Hell.

Dawn of the Dead
Hell brought on earth. Once awakened, the Yomi’s power of revival stretches to the world around La Spada. The area around her begins to wither, turning into a dark wasteland. A thick cold fog rolls and the ground turns black. From the ground, the dead rise.

La Spada summons the souls of the dead, able to rise in the form of an army of evil skeletons to fight. It is said that they will drag those who La Spada commands down to Hell. The skeletons can slowly freeze those they touch, as the are themselves souls with the Chill of the Underworld. If any NPCs have been killed in the same storyline, Spada can resurrect them, though they are devoided of any special abilities like DFs.
  • Turns area into dark graveyard
  • Summons army of skeletons
  • Summons recently deceased
    • Max Level: 70
    • Level range: 200 (at one time)

“Welll, yah’ know… this is totally unfair. How about we even tha’ odds a little?”
Inuarashi paused among the ash as the foe started speaking, raising his arm to the side to hold the five other minks back. As one they paused, those that carried weapons holding them at the ready. To the side, a couple of minks pulled Nekomamushi and Pedro away from the carnage, the former protesting meekly, the latter somehow still breathing, though clearly unconscious. The dog mink pointedly did not look at them, instead keeping his attention on the foe ahead, growling at the words. Unfair? You little-

He was cut off as the pirate slammed her hand to the ground, shouting for all to hear.

DAWN OF THE DEAD!!”
Even before it dawned on him what was happening the duke stepped backwards, the fur on his back standing tall. The chilling feeling that set on him was unlike anything he had felt before. When earlier in the day he had sensed the dread approached, it was like a mere harbinger of what was to come. Now it had arrived, and it could only be described as evil. Several of the minks cringed before display that took place before them, several of their friends rising, carried forwards like puppets of the cruel mistress that had brought them this pain to begin with.

What are you? Inuarashi managed to stand firm, even through the horrors that he witnessed. What the hell do you want, demon!?

Hell on Earth. Awakening the ability to revive to the world around her, The Grim resurrected lost souls. Three in particular, Anubis, Milky, and Keith. The latter two looked aghast, cursing their fate, bodies moving on their own. Inarushi, a foe with similar strength to Nekomamushi appeared, with him a troupe. La Spada turned, finishing her sarcastic complaining. The ground was cold, fog rolled in for an eerie atmosphere. Skeleton fodder rose from the ground - a graveyard. The dog-mink roared, asking for an explanation.

La Spada grabbed the back of her neck and spoke with that infamous tone of derision.

[La Spada] “Who, me? No one of importance. Just Death.”
A magnanimous sarcastic statement. If Inuarashi looked around, he’d see bodies around, a cold chill of hell, and one who controlled the veil of life and death. Even the dead moved to her will. What’s more, La Spada was a rotting corpse, permeated by a foul stench of dread and intent to kill. The tone was sarcastic, yet the sight would confirm what she called herself. Death.

La Spada continued.
[La Spada] “I’ll say it one last time. I’m here for yah’ secrets. The secrets of a fabled race thousands of years old. In exchange, I’ll let yah’ filthy pups live.”
The Grim looked over the horizon. The fabled land was famous for its age, secrets, and ancient history. The land of the elephant. La Spada would ensure them of her intent. Whether she would keep her word, was another thing. Behind her, Anubis, the skeleton, roared, dashing towards Nekomamushi. The Grim held her hand up, stopping Anubis in his tracks, him now besides her. Likewise, Keith and Milky looked at La a Spada, before they began to crackle with electricity.

The two spoke desperately.

[Milky] “T-t-his is…! S-s-she is controlling our bodies!”
[Keith] “Get away from us!”

La Spada chuckled. With a gentle brush of her sword, The Grim drew her Saijo O Wazamono blade. Shodai Kitetsu took an aura as La Spada’s body began to darken. A full-body haki that permeated the air. The intent to kill was intoxicating. Suddenly, plucking the string from her blade, a blast of spirit and music came from her. A blast of will of the Kings impregnated into a dark Sonata. An overbearing spirit that sought to force those weak unconscious, and intimidate those who were not.

La Spada would not warn them again.
[La Spada] “But if Yah’ so wish to resist Death herself. Who am I to turn down a fan’s request? Kuahahahaha!”

Sonata: A piece played with fervor, using aggressive high bass and decibels to damage one’s eardrums. Damaging one’s eardrums causes one to lose balance, giving enemies a de-buff to reaction speed. The de-buff is mastery/10.
Requirement: 41 musicianship

Note: Debuff of -8 takes effect next turn. Lasts for 4 turns, given bonus from Yomi.
Fear
DFs: Hollow, Allosaurus, Resurrection, Hormones, Soul, Book
Martial Arts/Others: Conquerors Haki
Scared: affected is nauseated, has reduced observation Haki and finds it hard to concentrate on anything but the thing scaring them. lasts for 3-6 turns. Requires at least 71 mastery

Inuarashi felt the pressure of the monster before him envelop and threaten to swallow him whole. Behind him, the five elite musketeers stumbled and struggled to stay on their feet. The other minks that were trying to pull the wounded to safety or stay back as reinforcement all fell to the ground, foam escaping from their mouths. Yet it was not the presence that Spada unleashed on them that worried Inuarashi the most.

No, it was the bodies of his fellow mink, risen from the ashes and turned against Zou by their foe. Keith and Milky still spoke as if their spirits inhabited their bodies, yet moved against their own volition. Of course, this could very well be a ploy against them to let their guard down, and the two minks were forever gone, imposters inhabiting their bodies now.

Regardless, the duke knew if they did not deal with the kingpin herself, they would all simply be turned. It was with grief that he said his next words.
Pedro, Shishilian, I am sorry, but you will need to eliminate Keith and Milky.

Duke, what do you mean?
Carrot sounded distraught, which was why he had not given her this task. You can't possibly-

Carrot, you and the rest of us will focus on her.
He leveled his sword at Spada. Gripping the sunglasses place across his face he tossed them aside. At least we have the moon to aid us.

His eyes rose upwards, finding the white sphere in the sky. His body immediately grew, each part of his body longer and more feral. His fur took on the same white cast the other minks had shown as it grew. Behind him, he could hear the sound of the other five minks transforming. With a growl he swung his sword, sending an airblade(B rank = Town Level) flying horizontally towards Spada, before approaching her in a jog. This was it, they were the last bastion of hope for the country of Zou.
