we see all of oden friends go to fight kaido...but here in the castle flashback and cave points to second person, off screen helping oden!

oden father-never explained if he really dead.
tenguyama-waiting for someone, now with oden reveal makes sense it's oden. possible though it mean tengu was told the plan years ago by someone.
oden journal was saved by someone off screen, later found by yamato.
who told big mom about the opening in wano!? mystery since she got information intel from someone from wano who knows about it. still not shown.

Is it though? While it may not have been shown it was explained that he died and it was a solid explanation. I don't see how Oden's father could get out of that. I actually don't remember the part about his journal being saved off screen though that is certainly an interesting point.

yeah agree, it needs to be explained how he saved, but with cave hint, it looks like oden has other helper.

also the boar is missing. the one he raised. have not seen it in the entire arc of current wano.

For me the swords especially the dark one are hints that the man we see is indeed Oden.

Lets start with the bright one!
For me it definetly looks Like the sword of Shimotsuki Yasuie.

And the 2nd one is tricky, but I am suprised that noone have mentioned it yet! Cause one character have a way too much fame.

We have black blade Enma crafted by Yusaboro and its counterpart the White Blade Ame No Habakiri crafted by Tenguyama.
But Yusaboro actually also crafted a white blade by himself the Wado Ichimonji first I thought 3rd Kitetsu could have been seen as its counterpart, but now look at Odens black blade it looks exactly like Wado Ichimonji in black. And thus I have no doubt its the black counterpart to Wado Ichimonji crafted by Tenguyama.



With this Oden appearing with 2 Special swords I have no doubt anymore that this is actually the real Oden.

Also you are claiming that a tunnel was in that pot? That sounds a little farfetched. The laughter we saw came from that building and I think someone from a previous arc had a DF that could burrow.

maybe half way, while oden was being boiled. or it was other df that let them pull oden out.


clone fruit, for it to work the current user has to touch the person face. bon clay never touched oden face to copy him. the laughter coming from building is oden castle. where oden and his friends are living before kaido destroys it.

A there is a hint in Chapter 966 that Oden actually survived. You might remember if one compares chapter 966 with chapter 585 that Oden represents Sabo and Whitebeard represented Sabo.

It looked Sabo died during the time of the flashback. Ace died pre TS followed by Sabo returning post TS.
Now exchange following:

• Sabo -> Oden
• Ace -> WB

I don't honestly buy the idea of Devon going in there. Like what the her is her purpose kn that land? I know BB has said something before when they were visited by Moria, to go elsewhere before somebody else's does. It's not Wano and it doesn't make sense to go to Wano. It must have been related to Reverie events.

Also, if this is not Oden, then the statement from Toki to let Oden into the future, specifically 20 years time is nonsense.

Me either and people saying it her makes no sense, how would devon even know how to interact with oden friends or less mimic oden behavior if she never met him. I'v seen others say this.. like jeez, it's so out place. and ignores the set up and prediction and clues from toki presaving him. Plus 20 year time frame, and plan to attack kaido island. There gonna try to sell.. devon magically porting in and bon clay df now with new user... while the ending is coming closer to wano conclusion

I was reading back, and even Oda showed this not wanting oden alive mindset by many people, and he has the bad guys phrase it this way!

You see.

Die and be remembered in glory.. After oden saved his friends/stood in boiling pot and completing the bet! shows he honorable selfless good hearted person. and The bad guys tell Oden he will be remembered in spectacular death, basically the whole fanbase is mimic this same mindset as the bad guys. Wanting oden dead as spectacular death....so they are agreeing with the bad guys.

Oden was full of life, and you can see his silence when they are telling him to roll over and die so he can become a great memory!! The heck oden gonna roll over and die, he wanted to live! This also fight against orochi/kaido wanting him to be memory by oda showing this.

Oden being alive and surviving, is karma against kaido and orochi and all bs thrown his way.

people also think because he alive would be unbalance with big mom and kaido if he took sh side. but we also have Cp0 lurking and waiting on chance to strike. so there is no unbalance. and i can't wait to see what happens next!

Oden is dead, the most reasonable answer is that one is Gyukimaru, he comes with Hiyori, and Hiyori ask him to turn into Oden so the Scabbards morale will increase....

Just watched Brago, and I absolutely agree with him, Oden's death is so perfect this way, after all his feats, his speech before his death, its just so absurd if he come back alive...

so youtuber is more reliable then reading the source that oda laid out. you do realize everyone has different opinion and outcome, depending on how the author build up his story and left evidence to support it before revealing it. So it does not look like a plot hole.

anyways what i've learned,



Oden and Toki are master trolls.



They are legend and both faked their death for managing that. a new legend will come from this, and go down in history. for surviving.

Also yamato never mention she took oden body. so if toki did get awakened df powers, and put her power on him through the bar when she took the swords from him before leaving. Only for it to activate at certain time. why we see oden grin in the water, coincidence it activates the moment he in trouble. I really want a explanation on toki df power from oda.

Plotholes are things that happened and can Not be explained thus they make storyweise no sense. Thus hints never be able to become plotholes (unless the hint itself is a plothole)
