I am 100% certain that life isn't exclusive to earth. (for one, there are currently a handful of humans living in space, and we also blasted multiple rovers to mars with "a total of no more than 300,000 bacterial spores on any surface from which the spores could get into the martian environment." (I would count any new generation of bacteria living within the isolated computer compartment as aliens))

Also, our solar system formed in a cluster of other stars 4.6 Billion years ago. The earliest signs of life we have found so far are 3.5-3.7 billion years old, from the end of the Hadean Period, conveniently at the end of a period of heavy asteroid bombardment. Planetary ejecta (rocks blown into space by giant impacts) carrying life (or proto life building blocks) called lithopanspermia are a theory on how life can travel between planets, especially within clusters of newly forming ones within star clusters. It is thus possible that the budding life on earth may have helped seed other planets near other stars.
Also, life appeared on earth as soon as it was possible. The Hadean Period was named after the God of Hell for a reason, everything was molten rock and asteroids. If other planets out there are similarly able to sustain life, it might not take them long to develop some as well.

Intelligent life on the other hand, that stuff is rare even on earth. You´ll have no problem finding someone to probe your butt, though, if that´s what you want from the aliens.
