we are probably going to be taking suggestions as it shouldnt just be the GMs who decide. But basically there will be quite a few things on par if not even more major than the canon timeskip stuff: which had things like a new Fleet Admiral/2 new Admirals, the payback war, new warlords, a new yonko etc.

Here's a suggestion:
Sasaki goes to a workshop to learn close up magic, to investigate a series of high stakes pickpocketings. He builds a rapport with charismatic ringleader Bodhi.
He doesn't want to believe that Bodhi could be a criminal, so he has his government handlers investigate a rival show act full of mentalists instead. ("Hector is running three Hindu Mystics with spoon bending acts")
But in a high stakes climax, it turns out that Bodhi is the wanted criminal after all, he's been stealing DVD players with his close up magic crew.
Sasaki moves to pursue him, but can't bring himself to turn in someone he considers a friend, so he lets Bodhi escape in his vanishing box.
Frustrated, Sasaki shoots his... martial arts, i guess, into the air.
That's when the whole Fast and Furious/Point Break story starts breaking apart and Sasaki has to grapple with the fact that he's a fictional character.



Alternatively, have him figure out the identity of Imu and aim for a spot as a gods knight.
