Anyway my point isn't that D1 is totally bad, of course we can have a good start and it's actually an amazing opportunity
I was just thinking about teaming-up and try to come up with a new way to start games
Something better than Risky N1s & Boring D1s, something in the middle
And i suggested restricted/limited Actions N1 as an example

Such games do exist. There is a variation (iirc it's called hypo claim) where the only role is a cop and he gets a Night 0 invest. Everyone else is a generic But that variation is balanced by giving mafia/town a very high ratio (3 vs 10) so that town is forced to do some crazy analysing all game to even stand a chance.

Not every game is that variation, though. You can make games not centered around cops too.

I'm trying not to accuse the people I'm arguing with since I could have some confirmation bias, but I'm not missing the fact two people just choose to spend some of their very limited Day 1 time arguing stuff that could be argued on another thread.

Yeah the point of the game is to read ppl from their posts, the problem is that D1 start posts are 99% trollposting.

Not everyone is troll posting, this may be a site's habit but I played a lot of games where day 1 really matters

Yeah the point of the game is to read ppl from their posts, the problem is that D1 start posts are 99% trollposting.

Where I usually play, D1 is the most dangerous time for Mafia lol. You just have to overwhelm them and make them uncomfortable with an active thread. They don't like spicy takes and energy.
