Alright folks, I finished reading the D1 posts this morning, and I was disgusted by what I saw.

Only 7 out of 20 people voted.

I had to read 5 consecutive pages with no votes. Mafia games already tend to be boring to catch up on, and you guys made it worse by not even playing it.

I admit I wasn't online for the second half of Day 1 because I preferred to play videogames instead but... at least I voted. I did my part. I played the damn game. You guys turned "crappy Day 1" into a self-fulfilling propechy by not doing the most important thing there is to do in this game we call Mafia: voting.

I don't know what kind of hippie site culture you guys are running here, but I'm not from these parts anyway so I'm just gonna tear this shit apart with a sledgehammer because I don't give a fuck.

Time to do some scolding. This will probably hurt in me more than it will hurt on you guys. Though I hope it hurts more on you.

- Larsi: claimed Miller in the first post then disappeared with no trace. Let me tell you something dude, a miller claim is a very precarious position for you to be in, because we can't confirm you, so optimally we should vig miller claims like you unless they are big contributors. You are not. Get active or get vigged.

- A famous historian: well I've known this guy for years and he's doing the stuff he always does. I gave him some crap for a poorly justified vote early but at least he voted. Why can't you all be more like him?

- Gambit: posted a lot of poetry. Has yet to play mafia. I might keep you around for a while because you are funny, but someone like you shouldn't be allowed to make it to LyLo.

- Rej: spent the entire phase bickering with nova for crap I don't care about, then sheeped on his vote for a townie. You are scum. At least you are playing the game, though.

- juliet: is playing the "busy" card a lot. Probably telling the truth, because people who say they are busy are usually busy. But still had time to make a wall of quotes with little content. Is scum. Lynch.

- Kibi: someone tell me if this brand of ironic demanor is normal for him, because if it's not it sounds really evil to me. Is actually posting a lot and participating. But still needs to vote.

- Mat D. Bizzo: zero posts. If Dragomir takes too long to modkill his person, start tagging him to do it.

- Samael: another one I know. Made some interesting points, but no vote. I need to see more.

- Hayumi: seems to be actually making a decent amount of effort for someone who claims to be busy. That last vote reeks though, but could be just clueless town sheeping. I'm cool with this person. For now.

- Jinri: I recently hosted a game this person was playing and they were great. They are not great here. Their entire DP was making non-scumhunting posts and defending themselves from some point by nova. The difference is like water and oil. I'm putting in the scum pile.

- Alice the Menace : has 3 posts. No vote. The only meaningful thing in them is "I can feel Rej is a townie". Girl, the only menace you represent is to the gameplay quality of this game. Start playing it.

- Waindo: from what I'm getting, people's average opinion of this guy's skill isn't very good. I can understand the sentiment. Somehow is still in the top half in terms of looking town, but maybe it's because he has a lot of posts. Finding useful content in those posts is hard, though. And again, no vote. I'm tempted to vote him just for what might be sheeping on Salah's point. But when people tell me someone is a troll, I might wait to see if they are trolling me first.

- Michele: After so much bashing I may finally have the chance to be suspicious of someone who is playing well instead of just calling them out for not playing well. Michele is playing well. Her vote on AFH/Alwaysmind is like the most cliche low hanging fruit vote in the internet, but iirc she doesn't play on NF so she just doesn't know him so it's excused. I find myself agreeing with her points. Keep her alive for now.

- novaselinenever: see Michele above, except this guy just happens to be one of the best scum players I know right now so I'll die before I give him a full pass. Is making some solid points but seems to be wasting a lot of time with nitpicks. But town nova does that. Keep a watch on this guy.

- Emperor Cross: has two non-posts. Pristine material for vigging.

- Naomi: is kind of actually playing. Kind of. Seems aware of things but no big points yet. No vote. I need to see more.

- God Usoppun: didn't this guy beg for a slot in the sign-up thread? Yet zero posts. What I said about Bizzo applies here.

Bottomline:

Scum is Jinri, Rej, juliet, maybe Kibi, maybe one or two of the inactives.

nova, Michelle, Hayumi, historian I'm cool with.

The rest of you need to start playing the game. In other words, making some votes.

RIP. So Salah was either townie killed by scum/serial killer or maybe they were serial killer killed by scum or other way around. It is interesting that I was one of the few people who thought they were a little sus in my initial reading and then they end up dead. Part of me is still sticking to my initial read and assuming they were maf but they made good points later on so who knows.

He did make a good point about Jinri. I've played with them twice before and they are usually super aggro and making amazing points right off the bat. Super intelligent and if scum they are dangerous the later the game goes. They are great at analyzing thought process as well. They definitely gave off a little bit different of a vibe this game than the other ones
and I believe they were townie both times previously so definitely something to keep note of

Her late come back at EoD was awful, it felt like a baddie scrambling to get a vote on the board rather than someone trying to figure out the game and make the best vote possible at the time. Vote and suspicion on AFH were extremely cheap, with no semblance of progression whatsoever. The lack of any initial suspicion when she initially came back just strengthen that point.

Agree on Juliet, knocked her down a notch after re-reading the phase. Seemed like she was more interested in quoting posts about play-styles and behaviors in general, rather than anything game related. Especially since it leads nowhere, and she's actually not saying anything at all lol.

Also to point out another small read I had at the end of last day phase, I can't remember why exactly, I'll have to find the quote but some of the people laying really low key are on my radar. Gambit made a post asking about top suspects along those lines that caught my attention. I'm pretty sure it was because of the general tone of the post, but I'll have to look back. I just remember it coming across like a scum looking to vote for one of the top suspects

It came in too late to be an attempt at genuine contribution from a Townie. It also isn't accompanied with a reasoning for it that would warrant going in solo on someone that you know isn't getting lynched that phase. It's basically throwing your vote, that would be more in line for someone that has a hard stance on a player. Hers was soft and materialized out of nowhere with no progression.

Also important to note, that she came into the thread having no suspicion whatsoever. Not even a gut feeling, and it wasn't only after I prodded her about it that AFH became one. It felt like a low hanging fruit and she just came up with the blandest reasoning to have a scum read and place a vote. She was townreading myself and Rej who both were voting for Beky, and she mentioned wanting to trust the latter. A genuinely confused and lost civ would entertain the case of the people they trust the much and go with them, not whip out a scum read out of nowhere with reasoning that is bland which she admitted to.

I also didn't like her attempts at engaging Alice who's her friend I believe. It feels like scum trying to use the familiar as a compass to ease into the game and navigate it.
