Its weak to say she is flip flopping but she doesn't have a firm stance in what she says/believes
If it wasn't for her composure i would def press her as scum
Same could be said for you, though.
Have you not said you Town read me and now you suddenly believe I could be scum?
We all reevaluate reads, so you can't have a firm stance yet. In fact I'd find firm stances to be scummy this early on. Because obviously only they know who is scum, thus there is no need for them to reevaluate their reads.

There's something about exaggerating Michelle's stance that I don't like. Do you usually have a metric for assessing how much a person is relaxed? If you were to compare her to her previous town games, I feel as though you'd just say she feels like her town self, I don't think you, as a town, have an actual metric for assessing the level of relaxation a person has, they are either relaxed or not, hope you get it. Plus, there's something off-putting about you not directly stating why you decided to town read her there ,which was because of her own evaluation of her scum game. I feel like I had to literally pull your teeth out in order to reach that point, and it feels like you wanted to look good while not hard clearing Michelle / being that engaged in a read. Your first post was angled not to necessarily town read Michelle, but rather to defend an accusation against her.
I already explained this multiple times so far and i don't really wanna do it anymore and sound like a broken record.

First quote is pushing Stray for not having a bigger outlook on the game, which happens to be the same way Beky is playing the game himself. This is page 5, but I believe we're on page 12 and Beky still has to point to any other read other than Michelle.

Second quote, he finally gets a list and Beky decides to shade him for it?? Like, ok, what steps did you take in order to end up on this? You demand a reads list and you shade them for not having a bigger outlook on the game (which, again, not even you have) and when they post something, you just laugh it off and go away? What did you want to even achieve? I don't see any mindset where you're actively discerning Stray's alignment here.
And here you just read it way wrong

Yes i did push her to not have big outlook - since she said so - only for her to come up with one soon after i said it.
So yes i said that for someone who said they don't have a big outlook they have one.
So i dont know where you see shade throwing here? I was surprised she said one thing only to come up with something totally different - which i commented at least 5 times so far

So i am just trying to figure out if you are missing things on accident or on purpose

Suddenly? I said i slept on it and that i only see a possible scenario bcs of your lack on consistency and that only thing preventing you from being classified as scum is your good showing on composure

Idk where you see sudden there when i have been vocal about it for last few hours

I don't have a tendency of arguing with my wolf reads, I've expressed my point of view, if you're town I'll calibrate my read on you off other interactions, but I don't feel like you've done anything substantial enough to deserve a town lean. Your posting seems full of agendas.

Don't take this as an open invitation to debate, you're free to defend yourself, but I don't have to argue with you.

The idea I was pointing to was that you're pushing on stuff that look scummy, rather than stuff that would make someone flip wolf based of off.

I don't know, but I get the feeling joby's shade throwing has a bit to do with that ngl.

Yeah idk
I pressured you bcs i saw something i dislike - def not something i would vote for you for or follow up votes

Alright, let's do this *gif with something*

Opening posts :

I feel like joby's follow up to Stray Cat was rather...awkward. To put it bluntly. Something about the amount of a's in "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand here we go again" pings me. Feels as though it's some form of pre-emptive defence rather than an attempt at making a light hearted comment to someone that joby has previous experience with.

Also feel like the thing that's making me want to be careful with Oda is his early jump on town reading Beky. It feels as though that was a very...convenient(?) take and rather surface leveled. Taking it as hypocrisy and then town leaning Beky for it is kind of weird without presenting some form of paranoia / at least understanding what the first post was about. It could've been a joke, and if it was, that's not hypocrisy coming from town. It could be a wolf pushing an early angle to get town cleared. If Beky felt as though his first post was a joke / a way of reacting, he wouldn't have thought about being hypocritical with defending Michelle.
Beky -

I feel Beky's whole progression would make sense given if I place the argument of "Michelle said this, and that's why I town leaned her" but I don't like the fact that he's emphasizing on it so much. It's really off-putting. There's something about this succession of posts that gave me a sinking feeling :

There's something about exaggerating Michelle's stance that I don't like. Do you usually have a metric for assessing how much a person is relaxed? If you were to compare her to her previous town games, I feel as though you'd just say she feels like her town self, I don't think you, as a town, have an actual metric for assessing the level of relaxation a person has, they are either relaxed or not, hope you get it. Anyway, this feels rather dumb and I already feel like I'm putting too much stock into it for nothing, but I wanted to point out that I wouldn't place Beky in any town cores yet, as he hasn't done anything extraordinarily townie.

Onadaga -

Some of their earlier posts are giving me the creeps but it's probably, like they said, just the excitement of playing a game after a long time, especially with good people. I don't see what their agenda is for this game unless they plan to infiltrate one of their scum buddies into the town core, which seems rather dumb. Their large horizon and interpretations are probably making them town. I have trouble seeing the wolf mindset behind clearing everyone for no reason. I also liked their intervention in "conflicts". They seem invested enough to read thought processes and that's enough for me on day one to not make me want to lynch them. I still have some concerns, but they're little, even with 7 years of experience, I doubt anyone could pull this level of wolfing.

Ok, sucks to be back (or maybe not, because I might be on to something) on this, but I really hate these trains of thought coming from Beky. They are literally not making any sense, and I question how they post these in succession while having a town mindset :

First quote is pushing Stray for not having a bigger outlook on the game, which happens to be the same way Beky is playing the game himself. This is page 5, but I believe we're on page 12 and Beky still has to point to any other read other than Michelle.

Yeah I think Beky's well placed within my scum leans for now.

I think Gambit - Stray thing is town versus town, and this is not your cliche "lazy guy calls it town versus town because there's tons of pages upon pages of conflict that I want to stop, so here, you both get town leans", Gambit's angle of attack is something that I don't associate with a scum agenda. I feel as though the reasoning behind it was more related to him feeling attacked about being called out for not having done anything, it feels like the push is more of a personal vendetta because of it, and not something a wolf could achieve off of. This doesn't read like a fake wolf tunnel coming from Gambit, wolves would usually latch on something that looks pretty bad for the other person and go with it, while emphasizing on that specific point throughout the conversation, but it just reads as Gambit's personal town agenda of making them look bad in the hopes of catching a scum in the process, hope that made sense. So I lean town.

As for Stray, I'm warming up to town reading her as well, because her thought process was transparent at a certain page, with a certain post. She can call it back pedalling or TMI, I'm not gonna waste my time on this, I think both Gambit and Stray are town. If I absolutely have to and someone finds it imperative I do so, I will (not) expound on it. :D

Ok, we reach the epitome of Rejness with his mathematical post. I thought I'd make sense of it in the morning, but this just left me...I guess something like this

What in the actual fuck? Seriously Rej, give me some of the shit you're smoking. I swear. This has to be good, I'd reach Nirvana with your shrooms mate.

I am almost inclined to say it's town for Rej because it's such a dumb thought to not only think of posting this as a wolf, but actually thinking about it in the first place.

Didn't like Drago's entry.

Oreki - okay. Here's the kicker. I wanted to town read him off something that, under no circumstance would he consciously post if he were a wolf here, but the odds are he just forgot about it. The "giving reads away like candy" was something that I caught Oreki wolf off of in a previous game. I mulled it over at 1 AM when good thoughts emerge, obviously, and decided I wouldn't town lean him for it because he might've forgotten about it (it was relatively long ago, I think), but then read his subsequent posts and figured I didn't really care and decide he's town anyway. His whole demeanour is different, as well as tone. His last wolf game felt like an emo pushing away everyone, the self-conscious wolf that bashes everyone's reads, and now he reads as accepting of others, probably because he's town. No offence, because I myself consider to have a really really weak wolf game, but I don't think after that wolf performance in his last game with me he would level up this quickly to change his play style. I'll be up for some rude awakening if I'm underestimating him, but just with experience, I don't think you can improve so fast in such a short amount of time. The difference between his wolf game and his town game is as clear as a crystal.

Juliets opening lacks any agenda, or if there is one, she's hiding it well.

I guess I'm not really a fan of Joby's entire wall. It's agenda is pretty clearly, and that is discrediting Stray as much as possible. I don't see the sorting part, and all of her questions pertain / seem to be leading to her discrediting the reasoning for people's town read on Stray rather than figuring out their alignments.

Also, @joby, what is the difference between scum pressure and town pressure? Can you give examples with quotes / explain why Beky's posts lead you to town reading him?

I chuckled at Nesso's opening, because after what I'm about to post, it might be prophecy lmfao

Apparently I was right w/r/t Joby, high five me.

I think for now Drago's line of questioning is somewhat reasonable.

Oh we reach Samael. Good grief. I have waited for this moment.

I think he's scum, to put it bluntly. There's some weird universe where he's town but like, meh. I mean, his catchup on me is something I find wolves to do a lot more than town, which is selecting their "prey". If he really wanted to search for answers to his questions, he would've found them, I feel as though he literally ISO'd me or went through the thread looking for the pray, found my backpedal post, and then approached backwards, looking at my ISO for other incriminatory stuff. Actually, I bet that's exactly what he's done. His answer to the first question was already out there, how come he missed it? His second paragraph, the first question seems like he wants to extract something from me, even if the question is silly, but there's a clash in mentalities behind questions that I don't associate with town agenda. I mean, in one question he reasonably wants an explanation to discern my alignment, and in the next one, it's like I'm being stuffed in this awkward hat where I have to defend myself against loaded questions instead of me explaining my process. I also feel like the shutting down on how my question would be useful is unreasonably narrow, and I find a town would much more be curious to find out about something that is unfathomable to them than to push me before I even state it. I don't like him in the slightest.

Nessos you probably are the designated mislynch at some point. Your question about "how do you feel about..." was rather scummy lol.

Was going to post this beauty of a wall and I just saw Nessos' reaction, I love it.

Anyways...

==================

{Oga, Oreki, Stray Cat, Gambit}
{Rej, Poison}
{Nessos}

==================
{Drago, juliet, Michelle, Trafalgar}

==================

{Beky, joby, Samael}

I'm also leaning town on Drago and juliet ftr. I need more time though, which is why I'm not placing them in town core yet.

Vote : Beky
This is some fucking great shit. Town locking this man. Just might throw the key away while I'm at it too.

Ok, why would you not argue with your scum reads? You don't want to take the opportunity to develop the read or have a change of opinion? Why is looking at other interactions better than interacting with him yourself?

This is not an FoS of any sorts, just trying to understand your mindset.

Aight, I've been slacking a lot. I hate me . Currently playing a few more games, and I'm a slow reader so it makes it hard for me to quickly catch up. but anyways I'll just share my opinions very soon.+

@tedxtr lmao, I pulled these kind of statements on TS and whereever and people always come with clown statements towards me, like you wanna know what I smoke currently? It is some random haze. :catcorn:
Anyway, why do you have problems doing detailled read/caselists as scum?

You're never going to make a wolf admit that they have a wolf role PM. I also have the tendency to tunnel the player I keep arguing with and hunting for posts of theirs afterwards out of spite, so that's why I prefer being objective.

Nobody wants to see two people arguing and actually sifting through it. That's another thing, if I end up arguing with Beky, towns will think it's T/T.

Another point, if I choose to answer Beky's questions, if he's a wolf, I'm doing no good because he has one perception of what I mean and he can attempt to discredit it, he can pick the lower hanging fruit points on him and I'd look desperate because I keep emphasizing on those points and people will think that's the whole base of the case, when it's really not.

There's generally no benefit to stall the momentum. If Beky's town, me observing him will keep a higher than average rate of objectivity and I'll be inclined to want to town read him. Reading people off their interactions with other people is very easy and works a lot of the time.

Among other things...

Actually, I second Ted's scum read on Samael. Reading back he seems to be doing what he also did last game, tunneling on a minor thing and pushing people for a petty reason. I find Ted to be more Town-ish after their elaborate post and share of views, so I can assume Sam could be pushing for a mislynch and trying to capitalize on a Townie's "wrong move" which he implies ted's backpedalling was. Does that make sense to anyone?

Werent you the one downplaying town dynamics and call it buddying? In your shady language.
Then dont wonder when town tackles you and downplays your statements. You are out of flow.
[automerge]1587031108[/automerge]

Gimme a readlist drago so I can see if we flow during this arc of the DP. I think you need to get some speed into the game here.
[automerge]1587031155[/automerge]

Scummy or busy towny. I think the course of the DP will tell me.

Honestly not sure about Beky, although Nessos vs Beky gives off TvW vibes, but I'm leaning towards Nessos being the wolf. Beky could have just stuck to Town reading me, but the fact he seems to do constant reevaluating gives me more of a Town lean on him. Also him stating he'd be "pleasantly surprised" if I was scum seems too natural to be faked. So my current scum reads are Nessos, joby/Gambit and Samael.

catched up until Ted's wall (after I noticed it is longer than 2 phone screens I have to let it for later, after work)
Though, few ideas i have to express for now about Nessos' intervention:
Vote lynch Beky

He jumped in like the shimmering knight trying to protect his damsel in destress!

But in truth it feels like he is an evil thief who use every oppurtunity to obatin Towncreds from blind Townies.
I am no damzel in distress -_- ... and certainly I can talk for myself.

I will consider your oppinion about Beky.
My honest thought it is the beginning of DP1 and it used to be scum who tries to overinterpret players entrance posts.

Tell me whats the townies entrance post for you?
A shy hello?
A direct attack?
A troll post?
A rnd vote?
Giving out towncreds to others?
No post?
The towniest entrance? there is no receipe for it.
In this game, my own is the towniest because I am sure about my own intents.
And in the other hand whats the scummiest entrance?
An entrance that tries to insert shades and doubt for everyone else may be named as scummy.
In my opinion the entrance posts and the early fluff doesn't help much. More interisting are reaction based on accusation doesn't matter how weird they are. And not the reactions of the accused players.
Every reaction from everyone is useful. Even a late one, but an immediate reaction shows presence, implication and the way of thinking, and is usually more towny than not because town can vomit itt any thought without fear and not have to think at the narrative. Exception exists ofc and I think you were reffering at one when you were talking about Beky above.
That doesn't mean I agree with you though but like I said I will consider your pov too.
------------------------
Man, Rej is town this game.
i like this post, i don't feel scum intent behind this revelation ^^
[automerge]1587035143[/automerge]
One more thinkg, Poison feels towny too.
