We need to set a clear boundary who's top tier and who's not quite there yet.

Nothing against Sephiroth and Cu, I love them both. They're my precious Vampirates. But the thing is, since they joined our crew as a second PC, u see how they quickly rose to the pyramid, no?

And theoretically, there should be no way they are close to that feat if they do that on their own or story-wise, one that has just recently discovered Haki and fought average NPCs should be considered one.

If there's a clear gap that separates u amongst the other then there's still a room for something. Otherwise, it will all be boring for me if we all stay on top after a year.

That's just the nature of games eventually you reach a cap. The only viable way I see on how to set this' boundary' is with a DC purchase. But then again you can also power level quickly if you really want to. And then we're back at square one lol.

I think you are forgetting something important here. You have the x6 and 2 fruits, and a lot of DC things. You are still in front of them tho. But like Guren said, the goal is the stat cap. Because if we are going to create a tier, are we going to pay exp to get to the 121 ? Are Zoans going automatically at the 121+ ? Too much questions

Lol you can thank the buying EXP item for Cu and Sephiroth progressing that quickly @Gambit it was always inevitable, especially since the Vampirates are one of the richest in the RP

Actually, I think herein lies the problem.

The fact that none of those extra things really make you stronger.

Like, 2 DFs + DC items don't really do anything, it's all flavor. At the end of the day, Sephiroth can stil reach the exact same max DPR that Gambit can. Gambit can have 5 DFs and make an ultimate Z-rank attack that combines all 5 DFs into one large attack... and it's still just gonna be DPR 14, which Sephiroth can do.

So that's actually the issue.

Not sure how to solve it though... aside from with RP skill. Where, even if the DPR is the same, you ''understand that Landayan is still a higher tier character than Sephiroth atm'', and you take the defeat.

And that's exactly what I'd do if they fought now. But in terms of pure stats, they're actually equal lol.

That's not really the issue, that's just a matter of time. Even if it took a year longer, Sephiroth would have come there regardless, so one way or the other he was gonna reach that ''Gambit level'', even though Gambit is a primary character with Yonkou aspirations, and should be placed at a higher tier.

The only way to solve this imo, would be to make an item... could be called anything, but let's call it ''Legend''. And to achieve that item would be extremely hard. It wouldn't just cost beri, or just EXP, it'd cost a bunch of Beri, a bunch of EXP, as well as require certain ''achievements'', like rank (need to be Admiral+ or Yonkou+ or RA commander+, etc.), as well as need to have defeated this many level 90 NPCs, etc.

And once you achieve all of those things, you get the Legend item, which makes you a top tier character. And the item would have some ability that makes those characters significantly stronger than those that don't have it.

Such as the ability to reach DPR 16 or something, etc..

Example as an idea:

Legend: This item allows you to reach DPR 15 and DPR 16.

Costs and requirements:

- 300,000 EXP
- 200 DC
- 100 bill Beri
- Pirate needs Yonkou status, Marine needs Admiral status or higher, Revolutionary needs to be Leader (like Dragon) or Chief of Staff (like Sabo) status, etc..
- Need to have defeated 3 level 90 characters
- etc..

Just an example. Can have other requirements and so on.



The cool part about all of this is that we could give some of the top tier canon NPCs this item right away (Shanks, BB, Akainu, Garp, Dragon, etc.), and that'd instantly make it so that none of our PCs could 1 on 1 them at the moment. Making the events a bit better even, since you couldn't 1 on 1 the strongest canon characters.
