King's Landing Assault #9 @Sea

Manaka, Koujiro and the rest of the small squad rushed southward through the city, outspeeding the crowds that were already making their way in the same direction. In the distance they could see the smoke emanating from the large fort in their path, where Manaka herself had seen the barrage fired from earlier. Their target was clear, the mission however was not. It became more uncertain the closer they drew to the fort, its size more than they had bargained for. As they drew within five hundred meters of the fort, Manaka pointed at Koujiro. The man nodded, hurrying off to the right with two of the men, towards the tallest buildings in the area. Approaching the building, which seemed abandoned in the chaos with front doors open, Koujiro rushed inside. While the others rushed southwards, he ascended the stairs and soon found himself in a bell tower with open view of the city in all directions. He left the two men to guard the stairway, in case he was spotted. Approaching the southern opening he would bring out his rifle and assembling it, before laying down. Peeking through his scope, he could make out Manaka approaching the fort alone.

Manaka had sent the others in the squad off to hide near the fort, awaiting any need for assistance. She knew well that there was not much the others could do in this situation, especially faced with such a well defended position. And so it was that she walked into the opening that surrounded the fort, leaving the crowds. Despite the gates being shut she continued at a steady pace, ever increasing, soon running across the cobblestones. At the walls of the fortress guards would notice her running, turning their attention towards her, preparing to call out. However instead of their voices sounding through the air, instead distant gunshots rung, though too far to stand out in the chaos that enveloped King's Landing. Bullets would rip through their skulls, sending each of the guards lifeless to the ground.

Meanwhile, having crossed most of the distance to the keep, Manaka would lift up off the ground, flying upwards by the air vents built into her boots. In a couple seconds she would land atop the top of the walls, even as guards fell to bullets around her. Drawing in a breath as she landed, she would blow a pink smoke inside the walls preemptively, filling whatever courtyard before her with toxic fumes. She was not about to let them get off a third volley.

Pink Hornet: Manaka releases a more poisonous stream of toxic smoke (major) that penetrates through opponents and leaves them poisoned.

Aboard the stolen marine vessel, the pirates were almost cheering to themselves. So far their escape had gone scot free, still not having been attacked. They were so close to escaping without harm, when the cannons sounded. The pirates thought nothing of it, as the cannons had been sounding repeatedly. However, only seconds later the side of the ship would explode. Cries of alarm sounded through the ship as they were brought from calm to terror in a split second. Already the ship was taking on water, it would not last long. As luck would have it the ship still had its steering intact, so they were able to steer it towards the shore on the opposite side of King's Landing. Although it took on water quickly, they were able to get close enough to jump overboard and swim ashore. Unless they were fired upon again, the group would disappear into the forests near the shore.

_____________________________

We're floating dead in the water! We're sitting ducks out here! The shouts of alarm rose from the Golden Dragon, being spoken to the other ships through den den mushis, but since the four vessels were spread out the others couldn't immediately come to their aid. On her own ship Princess Mera rushed forward, her clima tact in hand, hoping to be able to avert disaster. Reaching the railing on her ship, she raised her staff into the air, ready to harness the weather itself. However, a shadow in the water, stopped her in her tracks. A smile passed across her lips and she lowered her weapon.

From the depths below the Saimon emerged next to the Golden Dragon, water spilling off the top of the submarine. The hatch popped open and several figures spilled out, carrying long chains. Rushing over to the ship, they tossed it onto the ship itself, where other sailors grabbed and tied them down. The cries of
Ready! were repeated from the ship to the men on the submarine down to the engine room itself below. Once again the engines roared, and the smaller vessel would pull the Dragon away. Meanwhile the men on the submarine rushed back inside, and the mechanics aboard the Golden Dragon worked to repair its steering.

Meanwhile, as the Dragon was being pulled away, the barrage of focused cannon fire struck, however the ship would have already moved rapidly. The impact of the volley would still shake the ocean and the two ships, but both would mostly escape unharmed. For now. Back on the Silver Bullet, Kaladin started to regain consciousness, though the doctors still were not done with him.

Projectiles and guards were repelled and the knight flew through the air towards the Giant, the chain from its arm ripping him and his armor to shreds. His spear flew through the air, seeking to draw the blood of the pirate. Yet all it drew was his attention, his hand grabbing the spear from the air. Next to him Zahel dashed off to the right, away from the biggest immediate danger in the city, Larsi himself. Forming the loose cloth that extended from his arms into a net, he used it to repel the bullets that once again started raining down on them. Meanwhile, Larsi stood firm as three airblades cut through the air around him. His skin turned dark, coated in the haki of armament(+3).

The airblades and bullets crashed into Larsi's body, and he shuffled at the force, yet did not falter. While his clothing was torn, his skin was barely cut, blood only drawn at the surface. Grunting at the successive impacts, the giant shook his head and turned around towards two of the knights, while Zahel charged the one that stood alone. Unfolding the net of cloth, the former king whipped his rope forwards in a straight line towards the knight. With a heavy knot at the end and focusing his dark haki into it as any other weapon, it could be a devastating attack unless prevented somehow
(81 str + 3(A) + 2(hardening) = 8. Island Level). Let us dance, you and I! He said, his eyes intent on the glorious foe.

Meanwhile, Larsi himself put away his clima tact in his pocket, pulling out both of his juttes. The two metal weapons were like pillars to humans, made to fit the thirty feet tall giant. Then as the second knight landed Larsi leapt into the air, spinning both juttes rapidly, causing them both to burn alight. Starting to fall again, he would grip his weapons in reverse grips, sending them crashing down on the closest knight. Upon impact, whether or not making direct contact with the knight, it would create an expanding shockwave of fire exploding outwards twenty meters, likely to catch both knights in its wrath, though Zahel and the third knight would be safe
(120 str + 4(S) = 9. Small Country Level). The ground before the giant would even start to crumble, and the impact could be mistaken for cannonfire throughout the city. The sooner you give in, the less of you will die.

Preparation for their way into the fort, well-defended with sentries posted atop the walls, it would make sense considering they are well in an alert status due to the Vampirate fleet by the sea. Though they weren’t privy to Manaka’s infiltration group, only that likely whatever happen with Larsi has already been communicated long enough. This allowed an element of surprise to be played which Manaka’s group would begin their plans to prevent the artillery from hitting the 3rd barrage. With her men prep, utilizing a couple of snipers to help. Manaka ran for the keep immediately which will take the brunt of the sentries’ attention, that is until the snipers took action – taking out several guards. Within mere gunshots is enough to cause the rest of the sentries to immediately take cover as watching their fellow guards suddenly taken down springs the rest into safety behind the walls, this prevents further sniping whilst the sentries’ shouts for help. They are under attack, though the identity of whom the attackers remains to be unknown. The soldiers however, are quick on their feet. Before long, the fort itself is alerted. Yet taking cover behind the wall allows Manaka to jump through and past the wall, before spewing a cloud of pink gas into the fort’s courtyard. But she would not find the strategy she used previously as effective this time round.

Regardless of the kind of gas she is using, anyone that would see a strange gas spewed against them would cause them to take action given that she wasn’t using any form of colourless gas and this time with eyes on her in an empty open space like the courtyard it is much easier to avoid. That said not all of the soldiers are safe, as there are soldiers too close to the courtyard and Manaka in terms of distance such as the wall sentries, are quickly affected by the poison, immediately dropping onto the ground. But the rest would quickly back off from the poison, maintaining their discipline by keeping their head as low as possible from those on the walls.

The soldiers from the wall and from the fort building itself would start to fire back against Manaka from a further distance, bullets whizzing past towards her and some even flying straight towards her. Whilst others aimed to locate the snipers that took out the guards, using the walls as cover peek out from, already having a general direction judging how their comrades fell. It won’t be long before the snipers’ location be snuffed out.

Sea – Marine Vessel
Cannon fire bombards the ship, causing panic and terror of the crew members of the vessel to quickly turn the ship towards the opposite side of King’s Landing where a shore into the woods would be their new destination, forced to jump off the ship before the vessel would burst into flames of explosions the crew immediately swam ashore. The cannons would continue to fire, possibly taking out a couple of men if they are too slow to jump overboard, until the marine vessel would finally explode, sinking the ship. Cannon fire would finally cease, but whether or not it is over for the crew members whom quickly disappeared into the forest remains to be seen. But for now, they are much safer than before.

Sea – Vampirate Fleet
Cannons continue to fire against the fleet of Vampirates, and the panic has slowly settled into the crew members as they attempt to evade the barrages of cannon fire. But with the help of submarines, they would utilize chains to help pull the Golden Dragon away, preventing an easy target for the men of King’s Landings as they safely pulled the ship away. Soon afterwards, the cannon fire would lessen, and then eventually stopped. For what reasons exactly is unknown. But right now, with 3 active ships remaining the fleet could regroup and strategize for the time being. Whether more cannon fires would eventually resume or not is unknown. But one should likely not assume the best possibility for the stoppage of cannon fires.

Castle
Quickly raising to held on to the incoming spear as Zahel backed off, using his net of cloth to form a protective barrier around them from the bullets. But the appearance of three golden-white armoured knights would appear as they fired three air blades right at Larsi. Perhaps with the distraction of the spear thrown towards him that it would hit upon Larsi’s body, though quickly enveloped with Haki to prevent any damage. His skin’s durability improved substantially as barely any blood was drawn.

The knight, wielding a large sword – would be known as Gerold Hightower whilst the one wielding a spear would be known as Lewyn Martell, they would be the opponents for Larsi as the giant focused upon his attention onto them. On Zahel’s side as he moved towards the one with Sword and Shield, would be known as Barristan Selmy. On Zahel’s side of the fight, he would whip his rope forward in a straight line, a heavy knot at the end likely to serve as the ‘strongest’ point of his rope attacks as well as an anchor. Yet Barristan quickly took a side step and moved forward, his shield against the side of the rope as swung and rotate his body midway towards the side, swinging his sword diagonally upwards to weaken the force applied towards the end of the rope before swinging back to himself as he moves closer to Zahel, that unless the rope has unique features – would quickly lose power due to the change in direction and motion, thus quickly drop to the floor on the knot’s end. Given the way Zahel utilized the rope, it is likely that most of the control on the rope would be at the other end to maximise power. This means that Zahel’s follow up attacks are much easier to read with the rope, thus the man would quickly apply pressure to him, in a quick swing his own sword, the knight fires an air blade at close range towards Zahel before taking yet another side step to maintain a small distance between each other.

Barristan’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 = 6. City Level

On Larsi’s side the giant quickly switched out upon his clima tact and into a pair of jutte before springing up into the air – spinning his juttes as it starts to burn, Larsi would aimed to crash down upon the closest knight, Gerold. Yet the two knights quickly moved to opposite direction as Gerold moved left whilst Martell moved right. A large man of great stature has incredibly physical strength, thus there is no use in trying to overpower against the giant’s might. It would come down to using tactics to defeat him. With Gerold as the target, the man quickly raised his great sword high up held in two hands, imbued with Haki as the blade becomes enveloped in black. Gerold timed his swing as Larsi came crashing down upon him – an air blade immediately fires upon the tip of his blade as the man swing his sword down vertically, not aimed directly at Larsi but in front of him just as the jutte smacks down upon. A powerful shockwave would emanate from the clash, the man however aimed to not just hit Larsi with the air blade, but also aimed to destroy the ground beneath him that Larsi would eventually land on. With the shockwave that Larsi’s attack performed, the destructiveness of his own attack improved upon Gerold’s own, though not without a cost as Larsi’s shockwave attack possess a slight edge against Gerold’s air blade – overpowering slightly before hitting against the knight. The shockwave has damaged Gerold and his armour though not to a large extent. But it is enough to injure Gerold even with his armour. Given Larsi’s large size, and by extension his weight and gravity, the ground beneath him would quickly cracked – very likely causing Larsi to sink into the broken cracked ground and even unbalancing himself momentarily as given the clash at the last second it is unlikely that Larsi would realize Gerold’s intentions until it is too late. But this is small distraction is set up, for Martell would quickly utilize this particular advantage to get behind the giant, his spear imbued with Haki as the tip of the spear becomes engulfed in black Martell would deliver a flurry of piercing thrusts towards the giant’s head.

Gerold’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 + CoA: +2 = 8. Island Level vs 9. Small Country Level
Result: Larsi wins. Remaining DPR: 4. City Block Level

Gerold’s Dura: 5. Town Level vs Remaining DPR

Oberyn Martell said:
“Soldiers on the wall! Take the other two out!”

“Soldiers on the wall! Take the other two out!”

Quickly putting his attention to the soldier who gave the order, Muk knew the minute he saw him that he wasn't like the rest. The way he was standing showed that he was indeed on another level. As the soldiers were making their move, Muk was about to give an order to his comrades until he heard, Janemba finally talking after being quiet for most of this mission.

"Just let me handle things for us. Boss, just do your thing. We'll be able to handle ourselves, and no worries, we'll follow if you advance further."

It was rare for Janemba to take the lead when Frieza was around, so he knew he could trust him, as for Frieza, he took understood that it was best to let him handle it.

The first set of assaults were launched by Muk's opponent, shooting a barrage of bullets at him. Holding at his blade, that turned black from his haki, and having electro surging out of it. In conjunction with his Observation Haki, Muk went straight towards his enemies.
If successful, he's using his blade to counter the bullets as he advanced, the pirate then set a series of slashes onto his enemie's weapons. The goal was to disarm those weapons that seemed to be more annoying than anything else.

While, Muk was busy, Janemba took out his blade. Coated with invisible Armament Haki, the Lunarian launched a series of crescent moon like air compressed projectiles at the bullets. If successful, they'd destroy them on impact, and even have a few air slashes reach some of the soldiers on the wall.

"Interesting. Seems that the enemy is good at being a nuisance. I think I'll let take the lead, until I can form a plan that can benefit us, and curse them. Fuhahaha..."

Murmuring to Janemba, Frieza knew that they better think fast how they'd take over this sector. Suddenly, a group of Cletus's group had arrived right behind Frieza. As he looked at them, he could see them zig zagging and jumping right to left trying to avoid the incoming attacks. It was those that Janemba hadn't dealt it since it wasn't at all aimed to hit him or Frieza.

Gunfire continues to attempt and take out Muk off the wall, but man would quickly deflect the bullets with his weapon that was aimed towards him. It would be no longer worth it for the normal soldiers to take on Muk, Oberyn felt. Not letting Muk take on the soldiers, Oberyn ran forward – swinging his weapon against him, his own sword coated with Haki as he clashed against Muk meeting the pirate with equal force.

“I will deal with him, the rest of you take out the others!”

Oberyn ordered as he quickly put one foot inwards of Muk, he would push and slide his own weapon down against Muk’s weapon as he quickly moved further inwards but towards one side of Muk, aiming to push the blade down and towards Muk’s hands almost immediately, using the gravity and downward momentum to keep Muk’s weapon down and still standing between Oberyn’s body and Muk’s weapon whilst attempting to lob off the pirate’s hand in one singular motion. On his other hand, he flipped his spear, wielding it in reverse grip closer to the front part of the spear blade, using it as to protect himself against Muk should he counterattacks.

Oberyn's DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 + CoA: +2 = 8. Island Level

On the walls and outside the gates, an exchange of fire continues, with the rest firing a similar set of ranged attacks towards the Sunspears, they would find those attacks easily dealt with by simply moving away, as the soldiers do not possess enough capabilities to fight the pirates head-on. The combination of air blades would quickly arrive on the walls, demolishing walls as it greatly damages them, a couple of soldiers whom did not avoid the incoming attacks in time would be taken out as well but overall the casualties were low. But they have managed to take out a good chunk of the castle defenses by the pirate groups. The rest of the soldiers in the courtyard would start to quickly post up the walls, though many of the knights would stand slightly back, understanding the situation that they have to utilize traps to take them out and the castle itself still has various equipment that can help.

More soldiers would return fire towards them, from atop the wall to the broken down walls, any space that can be used to shoot is quickly taken. A small group of soldiers and knights would quickly retreat back to the castle itself, though reasons unknown. But now, with less cannons to deal with, the barrage are less deadly, but with damaged and destroyed walls, it would mean that there would be pockets of hidden gunfire eventually, that would likely catch any of them off-guard.

As she spewed forth the toxic cloud, spreading it out into the courtyard before her, Manaka took in the view. Several guards filled the walls and area below. Many of the latter would fall to the gas, yet others would escape harm, or simply be out of its reach. It did not matter, killing the soldiers was not her main goal. It was the same for Koujiro, his target was making Manaka’s task easier, and even if he was unable to kill all of the guards, the more time spent looking for a sniper, the less they could hinder the Dark Knight in her mission.

Bullets flew forward, fired toward Manaka. The Iron Fortress, as she was known, jumped off the wall and soared forward at great speeds, using her raid suits boosters. Within a brief moment she dove into the toxic gas that still crowded the courtyard. Now very obscured from view, she rushed forward, mostly only traceable by the clouds of gas billowing inwards behind her.

Before her among the gas stood several tall pillars of metal, pointing up towards the sky. The artillery stood unmanned and undefended in the center of the courtyard. Pulling out her scalpel and coating it in invisible haki(+1) she performed several attacks, always in motion as to not let the guards attack her with ease.

She would move from cannon to cannon, dismantling their mounting, cutting into the barrels themselves. Should they manage to repair the mounts they stood on, it was very likely they would implode from the insecurities created in the barrels. One by one the metal pillars fell, toppling ontop one another, denting and a few even bending or breaking.

Meanwhile Koujiro remained atop the belltower, still laying flat on the ground, barely visible. However, even from his far off position he could see that the guards were being more cautious, hiding behind cover as they attacked Manaka and searched for him. Fishing out a new magazine of bullets, he placed it in his rifle. The new bullets were far more deadly, durable and accurate(25 A-rank - City Level) than those he had been firing so far. With renewed ammunition, he sought out several guards and aimed at the barrier they hid behind. One by one he would start firing, shooting off the powerful shots that would break through the walls and flying out on the other side, likely striking them in the torso.

Seeing his rope discarded and the foe returning fire on him, Zahel realized this would be more difficult than anything else he had done so far on this day. Raising one of his swords above his head, he brought it down in a vertical strike, meeting the flying slash, the two attacks cancelling each other out, as they were of the same strength.

Unsheathing his second sword, Zahel strode forward towards Barristan Selmy, rope remaining where it was currently. To the side he could feel the much more dangerous battle that Larsi was engaging in.

Although his first target was the larger of the two men, the swordsman, Larsi did notice the spearman in the back and how he didn’t immediately attack along with his fellow knight. And so he would activate his color of observation, allowing him to sense the various figures moving through the courtyard they fought in.

Secondly, noticing the weakness in the ground beneath himself he focused on Gerold’s armor with his magnetic harness, using his higher frame to push the armor downwards into the ground. Either it would drag Gerold into the ground with it, or break free from the man’s body. Either way it was carrying the weight of the giant itself, so it would happen quickly, likely disorienting the man.

Sensing the other foe sneaking up behind him, Larsi would use the force of the magnetic push to avoid sinking into the ground and flipping around, facing Lewyn Martell, both of his juttes still blackened from before(+3 dpr). Already the spear strike was in motion, but Larsi brought up his left jutte, allowing the strike to pass between the shaft and the prong. Twisting his jutte aside he would at the very least direct the attack away from his body, if not outright disarming the knight. With his right jutte he thrust forward, aiming to crush the man’s entire torso with a single strike.

The Shore
The final chapter of the battle for the Sunspearian shores was drawings its conclusion, as both enemy generals now stood face to face. Cletus jumped off the wall, landing on the very collapsed roof his adversary stood. With a cocky grin on full display, he prepared himself for whatever this man would throw at him. It was time to end this once and for all. With no hesitation in his movements, Aero Hotah sprang into action.

With a vertical swing to the ground with his dual axes, Aero generated two blades of air that flew quickly towards the lunarian. Cletus easily lifted his right leg, and with hands in pockets, swung it at the projectiles meeting them head on.

However, this would bother neither General, as Aero had trailed behind his technique advancing straight towards the lunarian with his weapons readied. Cletus would move forward in the direction of the general, with his right fist cocked back. His fist briming with invisible haki, he intended to strike Aero of Sunspear directly in the temple. All the while, the roof had begun to fall apart.

The Town

The combination of Vampirate air slashes completely demolished the wall, taking down a few soldiers in the process. Soldiers from the courtyard would quickly post up on the walls, returning fire almost immediately using what was left of the walls as cover. However, with the number of cannons reduced the barrage of attacks were less intense. Koza and KG would land next to the lunarian duo, the bullets doing nothing to them as they were protected by their raid suits. The power of science.

"Frieza. Janemba. We advanced here after encountering their frontal defense. Cletus is holding the shore. What's Muk's plan? Do we follow him in?"

Koza and KG waited patiently for their reply. Muk seemed to have had to have had a strategy in mind if he ran in alone. The Giant and the Rebel intended to follow their lead for now - atleast for the invasion of the castle.

Town
Leaving the soldier to soldier fight atop the wall and the sniping position momentarily. The main focus of this particular fight is the courtyard with Manaka. The courtyard being an open space with no artillery in sight – Manaka would find no ways to destroy the artillery from where she stood in her own gas. But surprisingly cannons were somehow in place in the courtyard anyway, allowing Manaka to destroy them as she saw fit. However, soon she would be met with an incoming air blade, powerful, it would be fired off from the fortress building itself as the wind generated by the projectile would disrupt the poison gas, forcefully dissipating it into the air as it disrupts the protective field that Manaka placed herself in. From the building itself appears a single white knight with golden streaks, similar to which Larsi and Zahel are facing against the same time. One of the King’s Guard Oswell Whent. Wielding a sword and shield himself, Oswell stood slightly away from Manaka, safely away from the poison gas.

Oswell DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 = 6. City Level

Meanwhile, with Koujiro utilizing a different set of bullets, stronger – it would allow him to break through the fortifications and struck the soldiers. Yet while a smart decision, it instead gave his position away rather easily. The bullets breaking through the fortifications would quickly create evidence of where it is being shot at and from where. Several soldiers being taken down from the wall in a short span of time would quickly lead to the discovery of Koujiro’s position. This would quickly lead to cover firing by the soldiers, aimed to pin him down and prevent him from firing a shot without likely getting shot in the process. This would allow them to quickly formulate a plan to take out Koujiro. But what this plan entails would likely not be seen for a short while.

Castle
Zahel noticing the disadvantage of using a rope quickly lead to utilizing a sword, withdrew from his sheathe to strike against the incoming air blade, using enough power to dissipate the air blade away before unsheathing a second blade. Immediately going into close combat, Barristan swung his shield, coated with his own Haki towards the first blade, aiming to parry away the sword. Even if Zahel has stronger physical strength, he would need to swing the sword once more in order to generate enough force to break the shield, something which be unlikely to happen as Barristan would immediately swung his own sword against the second blade horizontally outwards to give Zahel little time to react properly, coating his blade in Haki as he clashes against the sword, aiming to not just push Zahel’s second blade away, but also placing Zahel in a position of vulnerability. Moving deeper and closer, Barristan slides his sword inwards from the clash, aimed straight for Zahel’s body but at point blank, Barristan finally fires an air blade, predicting Zahel to back off.

On Larsi’s side, sensing the two-pronged attack, Larsi utilizes his magnetic capabilities to push down upon Gerold via the metallic armour which surprisingly is also magnetic. The force which is crushing down upon Gerold would prevent him from striking as the armour starts to crack under tremendous pressure as Gerold uses his large sword to maintain stability over his footing. Flipping around, Larsi dodges the flurry of attack closely with his jutte in which would create a disarming motion, but his size and made it easy for Lewyn to track even if the giant is faster, and the King’s Guard themselves aren’t shabby in combat either, having acquired large amount of combat experience themselves. The physical strength of Larsi allowed him to physically twist his jutte away, forcing the knight to be pulled forward with their strength difference whilst pulling the spear out of Lewyn’s hand. With the other jutte Larsi thrust forward with the intention of crushing his torso.

Quickly placing his foot forward to regain stability, Lewyn twist his body away from the incoming jutte as he jumped slightly, with his other hand holding onto a shield, he would press upon the side of the jutte instead, applying his heavy weight of his armour and his own body to push down on Larsi’s weapon as well as the arm. By not being on the ground, Lewyn did not clash head-on with Larsi’s attack – applying only little resistance to the incoming force to spread the force out. The shield would slide against Larsi’s jutte and towards the hand but would not withstand Larsi’s attack, taking only mere seconds for it to shatter in half. But it has allowed Lewyn to take advantage of the leveraging force to knee straight towards Larsi’s outstretched elbow, the point where the elbow’s joint would be the weakest due to being fully stretched out. His knee coated in Haki, Lewyn aimed to smash Larsi’s right arm whilst continuously pressing down upon his arm with the shield, now shattered and with several metallic sharp edges from the shattered area of the shield to cut his hands.

With Areo’s attack, Cletus immediately lifted his right leg to deal with the air blades, cancelling it out immediately. Taking the fight in close combat, Cletus cocks his right fist back, coating with Haki as he swung forward aiming towards Areo’s face, specifically his temple. Yet Areo isn’t like the soldiers Cletus are dealing with, the man is sufficiently strong enough to handle his own fight. Timing the fist, Areo quickly dodged the attack by moving his body towards the side – immediately striking the outstretch arm of Cletus with his left axe and he would pull back along with the fist, increasing the momentum of the now missed strike and likely unbalancing Cletus with it given his forward posture state despite not having the same level of strength. By doing this, it not only potentially injures Cletus’ outstretched right arm but this allows Areo to immediately jump past Cletus’ left – firing a point blank air blade from his right axe now coated with Haki towards Cletus’ neck, aimed at the jugular vein whilst keeping his eye upon any weapons that Cletus might have on him.

The Lunarian brought his fist down towards Aero's temple, his victory was all but assured - except the General would prove to be more formidable that the previous soldiers he had encountered before. Aero moved his body to the side, avoiding the punch altogether, surprising Cletus. With swift movement, he almost simultaneously struck his outstretched arm.

"Argh!"

Pulling back along with his fist, Cletus would fall forward. With his balance now lost, Aero used this opportunity to jump past Cletus and to his left unleash a Haki imbued air blade at point blank that struck him in the neck.

"GWAH!"

The lunarian fell on his knees with a thud. Aero Hotah had managed to break skin, a stinging sensation was felt from his right arm. From his neck, a warm liquid oozed out slowly. Aero had struck Cletus' jugular vein. Had the attack had more weight, the Lunarian would have surely perished instantly.

I was so careless, again. I need to get this under control. I can't lose myself anymore.

Cletus rose to his full height. Turning around to face Aero, he calmed down

"You almost had me there. My arrogance has been getting the best of me. It appears it was unwise to hold back on you, General."

The Lunarian activated his observation Haki, not intending to be caught off guard again.

"Let's cut to the chase and end all this useless bloodshed. Take me to your King. We can have peaceful negotiations with him. All our captain wants is to absorb this country into his Empire. You would reap nothing but benefits, I guarantee it! Or would you rather more people have to die?"

Cletus stood with his hands folded, waiting patiently for Aero's response.

In a series of actions, Areo managed to unbalanced Cletus – making use of his quick actions to fire an air blade almost point blank which struck Cletus, though not deep enough to immediately take out the pirate. Moving past Cletus into a near distance between both of them, maintaining about 2 metres between which would allow Areo to better react to Cletus movement, noting that Cletus is likely physically stronger and faster than him, he would have to be careful not to get caught up with the pirate’s plans. Cletus would finally speak, a man of many words as it would seem. A negotiation of sorts would be started by the Lunarian. Speaking of nothing but benefits for surrendering, and that not doing so would only lead to more death. Words of a tyrant, these are not negotiation but merely a threat to give up. But Cletus still understood nothing of what he seen so far. Which Areo would finally speak.

“Or we can end this useless bloodshed when you take your people and leave us be.”

Areo clutched his axes tightly, maintaining his combat readiness in the event that Cletus would continue the fight. He expected nothing from the pirates, knowing their kind – they would not leave quietly.

“Someone like you will never understand. Each and every Sunspear would rather die than fall into lines with your tyrannical empire.”

Words would hit Cletus hard. Even if they manage to take the city then what? If Areo is right, there will be no people left in the city that they could run. Even if there are the Vampirates would very likely find themselves embroiled into a resistance movement within the city. But no matter, such consequences can only be truly dealt with when all these are said and done with. No further words are spoken, the Vampirates would truly find out that not many cities nor citizens would take kindly into an invasion.

An intense exchange between two warriors. Invader vs Defender. Their exchange led to Cletus being the first to take damage. While not fatal, Cletus would calm down, realizing that his arrogance had led him to get too cocky. Instead he attempted negotiations with Aero Hotah of Sunspear. His list for vengeance tempered for the time being.

“Or we can end this useless bloodshed when you take your people and leave us be.”

Cletus' will did not waver. He knew peaceful negotiations would not be easy. Especially after everything that's happening. Afterall, they are pirates.

“Someone like you will never understand. Each and every Sunspear would rather die than fall into lines with your tyrannical empire.”

He was right. After everything Cletus had seen so far, he could tell that the people of this country would not bend to just words. Only action mattered here. Negotiating with Aero would do him no good. He needed to speak to the King directly. Like before in the hidden kingdom of Disgaea.

I nodded my head in the direction of the wanted poster. "I have heard of this man... However, you are not in a position to promise me anything at this point. As such you hold no real value to me or my citizens...

Cletus has to convince them that they could bring value to the residents of Sunspear. He didn't think this all the way through. With their violent approach, there's no way absorbing them into Gambit's empire would be that simple....

Why do you waste your time talking, Cletus D. Sol?

The lunarian would flinch slightly. For the first time in a long time, Vidarr's voice would echo into his mind. He had been silent since the events of the Pirate Festival. Perhaps due to his mind splitting back into two prior to this? One could only guess.

They killed your men! Threaten the lives of your friends! Are you going to let that slide? I can feel it in your heart. You want revenge for what they did, don't you?

Cletus did. However, what happened with these people were not acts of malice. But people defending their home.

Fufufufufufufu! Well if it isn't Vidarr! You speak truth. But they're in the right, this is their home afterall. We're invaders and this is war. I'm an agent of Vengeance. Not one of choas or destruction.

Vidarr chuckled in response. You sound so mature now! So what will you do? He won't listen to you now.

Cletus would say nothing. He wanted Vidarr to watch instead.

"Your King would probably disagree. I won't play with you any longer. I'll make my men stand down. I'll find the King myself and negotiate with him. I have no choice since you won't take me to him yourself."

The lunarian began walking forward, intending to walk towards the edge of the roof and leap into the city. Would the general of Sunspear stop him? Or would he just stand there in disbelief? Only fate would decide.

@Ebuk @Mr. Anderson

OOC: Ebuk takes too long so I’m going to continue with it. He will get auto-hit.

Castle
The attack from Oberyn immediately struck Muk on the hand, generating immediate impact upon him with enough force to send the pirate crashing into a nearby wall. Blood likely spurting from the impact of the attack. Launched into the wall, Oberyn quickly aimed to distanced himself in duel range close to Muk, yet not attacking him immediately in case of a counter.

Ebuk's Damage Received: DPR 1 below dura: somewhat effective

On the side of the castle walls are the rest of the Sunspear defenders, now with renewed vigour they would start to reinforce the wall. Knights started to barricade up the gates as more soldiers now began their defense, shooting back at the four pirates, now this time with a new weapon, rocket launchers sort of weaponry is deployed, with the first wave of attacks made by the newly introduced weaponry are large pellet like ammunition. Regardless of where the Silver Vampirates would try to deflect or destroy the pellets, white smoke would disperse from small exhaust holes of the pellets, aimed to completely trap them within a smoke and obscure their vision. Gunfire would continue, even without a target any stray shots becomes much more dangerous for the group as they would not be able to see them until either they left the white smoke or the smoke itself is quickly disturbed by its entrance.

Yet the white smoke does not do much beyond obscuring one’s vision, though they may possibly inhale large amount of smoke that would cause them to choke on it. But the main problem would come next, they would find the next wave of attack just several seconds later to be a different kind of pellets. This time, Frieza and Janemba might recognize them for they are the same kind of explosive attacks that they saw previously. Pellets filled with explosive reaction would surround them, and a fuse would set off regardless of their state which would trigger fiery explosions upon where they were.

Town
The conversation between Cletus and Areo would continue, though regardless of how it seems for Cletus, his desire to end this peacefully would eventually come into an ultimatum. That reality would not be what he desires. The Vampirates mistake has long started the moment they decided their course of actions. Mistakes not in their warfare and power, but in their understanding of the reality. Yet Cletus would continue his intentions. One way or another, the invasion would come to an end. Cletus would see to it. And he would make his men stand down, though whether or not they did would not seem to matter to Areo and the Sunspears. They intend to drive the invaders fully out of their home, them standing down would only lead to ideas of surrender or at best a stalemate, worst ending in more casualties. But no matter. The Lunarian began to move, and he would find Areo chasing him behind.

He isn’t about to let a pirate meet their king so easily.

“Oh no you don’t!”

Manaka slid to a halt, the last artillery cannon falling over. Surrounded by the poison mist she was not able to see what was happening around her, so it was not until the last moment she heard the sound of the incoming attack. Her scalpel still coated in haki she thrust toward the incoming attack, diverting the attack aside.
Out-patient Surgery: A normal slash or thrust or poke using her Scalpel but strong enough to inflict a deep wound on them with a taste of mid-poison.
- DPR: B, requires 51 Poison Pink, 41 Strength, 51 Medicine

81 str +2 +1 = city level, same level as opposing attack
The air slash left an open path in the poison cloud from its originator towards Manaka herself, revealing the knight and the pirate to each other. In her hand her blade returned to it normal color as she took in the view of the foe. His attack was on her own level, so it could lead into an extended clash. And she had succeeded in her mission. From inside her pocket came the sound of a den den mushi calling. Using her free hand she fished out the snail phone, accepting the call. Yes?

They're closing in on us out here!
It was the voice of one of the goons of hers outside the fort. We need to pull back soon!

Manaka thought for a moment, then whispering her command. Get out of here now, let the others know, meet me where we just came from!

With that command she hung up the phone call, trusting the man to relay the message. With a nod of respect to the knight, she propelled herself upwards using her raid suit boosters. Moving back the way she had come, she didn't bother landing on the top of the wall, instead focusing on zig zagging to avoid bullets. Her speed and moves were so fast most of the soldiers on the wall would not be able to easily track her movements, so instead she glanced back a few times, to keep an eye on the knight. Should she get out of the fort without harm, she would try to disappear among the buildings.

Koujiro and the other goons would retreat from their positions, trying to make their way back to the tower they had attacked not long before.

Zahel had barely started moving forwards when Barristan counterattacked, striking towards his second blade. His arm repelled, he took advantage of the move to pull the loose rope forward without hopefully drawing the knight's attention. Should he remain in place, Zahel would attempt to wrap the rope around his foe's legs, hoping to trip him. At the same time, the knight swiped his blade, sending an airblade straight at him. His other sword free and unimpeded, Zahel again swung it downwards, focusing his haki(+1+A = same level) into the blade as it clashed with the cutting wind. Still, he stumbled backward from the strike, and tried to subtly pull the rope tight with his other hand, attempting to trap the knight.

Meanwhile, Larsi's initial strike was avoided by Lewyn leaping into the air. Seeing his arm exposed and the knight striking his knee downwards towards the giant's elbow, Larsi allowed himself to be hit. However, a split second before impact the skin would once again darken(+3 dura = 5 levels above attack) and the attack would land but barely hurt him. With his foe even more exposed than before, Larsi flicked his wrist, unfurling the chains that wrapped around them. With a swift swing of his arm he flung the chain upwards, aiming to wrap around his body and restrain him fully, the blackened haki extending to the weapon, making it nearly indestructible by common means.

In a clash in the fortress stood the last bastion of defense for King’s Landing against the rest of the ships, successfully taking out the ships would essentially ‘end’ the whole skirmish they had. Thus why its importance. A message is relayed through the Den Den Mushi though to the men of King’s Landing they have no reason to wait for one to discuss, that would be stupid to let them strategize further. Without even taking much of a hesitation, Oswell fired yet another air blade before Manaka would talk further.

Oswell DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 = 6. City Level

Rushing towards Manaka with his weapons in hand, Oswell needed to defeat Manaka, or at least buy enough time for the next wave of artillery strikes, located within the fort itself. This would be the pivotal point for the Vampirates in their invasion. Manaka had to defeat Oswell and then destroy the artillery or make her way into the building itself to destroy it whilst avoiding the golden knight.

Castle – Zahel
As Barristan parried the sword strike, he wasn’t aware of the rope still being attached to Zahel, prompting the man to utilize the momentum to pull the rope back which aims to trip Barristan in order to gain an advantage. However, Barristan himself already expect Zahel to utilize the rope to trip him over – just not in this situation as Zahel was utilizing dual swords at this time. Rope fighting in most cases have rather predictable moves one can make which makes it easier to set him up for defensive plans. As the air blade flew, so did Barristan whom now is slightly tripped down upon the rope tugged and coiled around him.

Quickly moving his shield in front of him in case of counterattacks, Zahel instead dealt with the incoming air blade with his own strike, leaving only a brief moment of respite as Zahel aims to pull the rope tight with a quick tug. Pressing down upon the ground with his elbow, Barristan utilize the golden armor plating to stab onto the ground, granting him not just stability to position himself better in a bad situation but also utilize the armored plates to slow down any attempts to pull Barristan further if any. Pulling his lower body back in a powerful tuck against Zahel, Barristan immediately aims to bring the rope on his leg closer to his sword range, using his sword to cut away the rope that has encircled around his leg in a single vertical strike in between the limbs – purposefully utilizing Haki to further ensure the rope is indeed cut, his shield still placed in front of him in defense.

Barristan’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + CoA: +1 = 101-119: 4. City Block Level

Castle – Larsi
A knee strike came from Lewyn towards Larsi’s outstretch arm, but before a meaningful attack were done – Larsi’s greater control of his powers allowed him to utilize Haki to withstand the attack, preventing an injury. With a flick of his wrist Larsi’s chains would unfurl the chains before aiming to swing his arm to wrap Lewyn with it. With Lewyn in mid-air, it makes him an easier target. Allowing Larsi’s chain to wrap and restrain Lewyn fairly quickly, putting one knight essentially speaking, in the mercy of Larsi.

But. Behind Larsi. The other knight jumped – this time with seemly no more of the heavy armor he used to sport. Given time, it is likely that assistance from the soldiers are given to quickly figure things out, and that is to remove the armor. With his great sword in tow, bloodied from the earlier attack – In a single vertical swing the knight thrust down his weapon onto Larsi, coated with invisible Haki, with the additional gravity increasing the downward strike.

Seeing the attack flying towards her, Manaka cursed to herself and launched up into the air above the attack, before being able to respond. Floating in the air with the help of the boosters in the raid suit, she blurted out a quick command before pocketing the snail phone. You guys get out of here! Realizing the knight would not allow her to leave after all, Manaka figured she had to deal with him somehow. And such a large area might be good for her raid suit, but it left her open to attacks from other angles, as well as her poison being far less effective. Using her boosters, she started moving in a half circle around the knight, making her way towards the fort behind him, scalpel ready in her hand.

Zahel stumbled backwards as his rope was cut due to the force he tugged with, though it was unlikely his unsteady feet would cause him any immediate grief from his opponent as he was bowed on the ground. Stepping backwards and gathering himself, the former king calmed his breathing, trying not to be distracted by the massive destruction caused by his captain and his two opponents. As he came to a halt, Zahel decided on a counter attack, swinging his left sword to create an airblade flying towards Barristan, who likely still would use his shield as defense.

Immediately afterwards Zahel would strike forward with his right arm, hoping that his foe would use his shield to block the first attack. Two more strips of cloth would unfurl from his wrist past his right sword, flying forwards behind the crescent strike. Should they not be cut apart by the Knight's blade, Zahel would attempt to wrap them around the shield and pull, either to relieve him of his barrier or pull him off balance.

Larsi's chain wrapped tightly around the knight, restraining him from any proper moves. Composed of seastone, it would be nearly impossible for the knight to break free, and that was before his spirit that strengthened them even further. Feeling his other foe winding up an attack, the giant pulled Lewyn close, wrapping him and the chains back around his wrist, nearly as tall as Larsi's forearm is long. Bound there, the knight would be easy to keep an eye on as well, on top of able to be used against his allies.

Swinging around, sensing Gerold leaping up into the air, Larsi coated his other jutte in his blackened spirit(+3), turning his body around and slamming the huge weapon against that of the knight's who hung helpless in the air. Larsi was starting to feel impatient, he been led on a chase far longer than he'd have liked. The longer he was held up, the more people would die, his own or civilians.

The Castle
Despite the individual power shown by the Vampirate Commanders, the soldiers of Sunspear didn't give them the opportunity to catch up with one another. They quickly began reinforcing the wall and barricading the gates. More soldiers took formation. It was to begin their defense. The fired back at the four pirates, this time with a weapons that resembled rocket launchers. The first wave of attacks made by the newly introduced weaponry are large pellet like ammunition. Koza facing towards the wall, was the first to take notice. Unhooking a Jutte from his person, Koza prepared himself.

"Hold that thought, they've regrouped! Incoming!"

As they got in range, white smoke exploded from pellets. Clouding their vision. The smoke covered the area, clouding the vision of even KG, the vampirate giant that stood at 30 feet tall.

"Tha bastards tryna cut off our vision!"

Now fully engulfed in the white, smokey, mist of the enemy, the soldiers began their attack. Gunfire followed. Shots with no specific target thanks to smoke, but still dangerous all the same. They hit the bodies of the pirates, however like before the bullets would deal little damage to their superior durability. However, the Vampirates had no intentions of letting them keep their slight advantage for too long. A smokey mist such as this would be a major problem for normal individuals. Unfortunately for the Sunspear defensive line, the pirates could use haki.

"These guys just don't stop." Koza said with a smirk.

"Let's get em, Koza!" KG replied, taking his axe in hand.

"Right!"

The two Vampirates activated their Kenbunshoku Haki simultaneously. A next wave of attack would came from the wall. Frieza and Janemba might recognized the the projectiles instantly. They were the explosive rounds they encountered before. But KG and Koza would already sense their intent and commence their counter attack. The rebel twirled his Jutte at extreme speeds causing it to ignite with flame, while KG swung his axe downwards with all his might. Koza unleashed an devastating overhead strike, packing enough force to create a compressed blast of air and flame that spanned a sixteen metre radius.

"Def Leppard!"

At the same time, a dozen compressed air blasts were brought forth by KG's axe. Taking the shape of wolves and enhanced by the power of Sparking Red, they ran in all directions primed to explode on contact.

As one would expect, the general could not stand still and let Cletus go scot free? How could he? What reason did he have to trust a pirate? He couldn't allow this Lunarian anywhere near his King. He chose pursue. For Sunspear.

“Oh no you don’t!”

Cletus predicted this reaction and he couldn't help be feel satisfied. The lunarian did not want to stop fighting out of the goodness of his heart. Deep down Cletus feared his own lust for vengeance. He could feel it from all of them. The Vampirates attacked their home and killed many in the very short time they have invaded. The Sunspearian's sought to avenge their own as well. But Cletus could only sympathize for so long. For the sake of his fellow crew members that had fallen so far, he felt like he had to make the enemy general pay. Aero Hotah's choice to fight had sealed his fate.

"Fufufufufufufufufufufufu...Suit yourself. You were doomed from the start. I'm sorry, but we're taking this country whether you like it or not."

He gathered his flames of vengeance into the palm of his hand, forming a giant sphere of destructive flame. Infusing it with invisible Busoshoko, he dashed forward, aiming the slam the general at full strength and crushing him with the explosive force of a bomb.

Manaka quickly notice the knight’s lack of hesitation to immediately strike her where she may least expect it, jumping up into the air with her raid suit. Continuing her words though noting the lack of time that she may communicate through before being interrupted, Manaka simply ordered them to leave. A fast and efficient order to give. Using her boosters, Manaka starts to move, circling around Oswell before heading straight for the fort – readied for anything. More gun shots from the fort came. But soon with enough distance Manaka may notice three obsidian circular chimneys atop the building. Upon closer inspection, it will soon be noted that these are not chimneys. They are barrels, much like a cannon, instead they seemed to angled slightly diagonally into the sea. There are small spaces between them and the roof they sprout from, likely to ensure enough space is made for one to change its trajectory.

This is Manaka’s objective as she might notice such odd chimney details. But even if she did not by going from the sky she would eventually be closed enough to make that observation. But she did not have to just deal with the artillery cannons, Oswell is chasing behind closely. With similar superhuman-like physicality, Oswell jumped high up, chasing her down relentlessly. With a swing of his sword, Oswell aimed to struck her back, turned against him as she heads for the fort from the sky.

As Barristan attempts to remove the bindings on his legs, Zahel struck forward with his right arm, forcing the man to utilize his shield to block the attack which is to be expected for Zahel. But the order of actions by Barristan did not change. With the incoming strike came to block blow – more bindings appear from Zahel that would unfurl outwards from the arm. But with a sudden movement by Barristan, he would bring his legs up to kick the right arm up and away while smoothly brought his legs back in afterwards. The kick would push the right arm back, delaying the binding action Zahel would use by just a mere few seconds, but it would grant him enough time to quickly remove the bindings on the legs.

Quickly flipping his sword around Barristan quickly transitions his grip style into a reverse grip, it would be the only way to utilize his weapon if he is fully binded by Zahel, the bindings ended up wrapped around the shield, with Barristan’s worst position it allowed Zahel to pull the shield away, but not before giving a stronger pull before suddenly letting go – aimed to use Zahel response to pull harder to fling the shield towards Zahel, which if not grabbed on would likely slam him especially at such close distance. At the same time, Barristan dropped his legs and immediately perform a low sweeping kick with one of his leg towards Zahel, not aimed at just Zahel’s feet but towards his shin – predicting a possibility of jumping which if Zahel jump would likely cause the kick to hit him by the feet, unbalancing him. In either situations, Barristan aimed to knocked Zahel down on the ground.

Sensing the other enemy behind him, Larsi coated his jutte and swung around, slamming almost perfectly into the incoming strike in time – his power overwhelming; Gerold stood little chance in that clash as the jutte broke the great sword, and the metallic weapon struck the face of Gerold, crashing him to the wall from force that Larsi projected. The attack was effective, immediately taking out Gerold as rubbles piled atop of him without any more movement.

Dead or alive, it would be hard to ascertain for the time being – some soldiers came to Gerold’s aid, trying to get him out of the rubble, but for now all that remains is Lewyn, whom now futile struggles to break free of the chain.

Castle
The white smoke became nothing more than just distraction to the actual attack, but before they got detonate, the Vampirates was able to quickly recognize the pattern of attack – using their own attacks, the smoke and the delayed explosive casing of the projectiles were quickly blown away through the large gust of wind that Koza struck, accompanied with KG’s igniting attacks that would alight the casings. Sent them back upon the defenders, the soldiers quickly realized what has happened, after all they were the ones that utilize such weaponry against the invaders, thus they would quickly get back into cover. Continuing on, KG continues to attack the wall with more air blasts, aiming to completely overwhelm the defenders, destroy all that’s left of castle defenders. The combination of two attacks would ultimately generate a massive explosion at the walls, cloud and dust accumulates at the point of impact, rubbles and concrete flew. The castle walls are completely dealt with, likely taking out the majority of the defenders atop the walls, leaving the entrance to the castle itself wide open.

With Muk seemly taken out for the time being, the final defender would be Oberyn and the remaining soldiers. The invasion of the Sunspears seems to be nearing its end – its conclusion became clearer. Once the dust clears, Oberyn and the remaining soldiers and knights stood as a wall, the last defense.

Town
Aero continued his chase, his pursuit of the seemly escaping Vampirate whom now strives to look for the King to enter negotiation for the end of the invasion but the man himself would not allow him to do so, after all - the King would be put into immediate danger. It is a logical conclusion to make. Following as closely as Aero could physically do, the man became slightly more nervous at the thought of the loss of their King.

However, Cletus quickly changed his mind for the time being – it is easier if he took down Aero right now, which should aim to vastly improve their position. Gathering flames to form a large fire ball, Cletus continue to enhance this fire ball with Haki, greatly increasing the destructive potency of his upcoming attack. Suddenly changing direction, Cletus dashed towards Aero – aimed to slam with his attack, forcing Aero defend himself with his axes. However, he did not expect the attack to be explosive, as when Cletus slams hard against Aero a fiery explosion triggered at point blank, causing massive damage to Aero at point-blank with him essentially at the epicentre of the explosion. A powerful explosion indeed. Flying straight onto a nearby structure, crashing into it. The rubbles piled onto him would remain unmoved aside from the falling concrete stacking further down – his pursuer defeated.

The Castle
Their combined attacks tore through the explosive projectiles effortlessly, sending the them back upon the defending opposition. Realising what was happening, the soldiers quickly took cover. However, their wall would no longer protect them. KG's wolves snarled menacingly, following close behind of Koza's wind blast before colliding with the walls, generating a massive explosion that sent rubble and concrete flying in all directions.

The castle walls were now completely dealt with and the soldiers within were blown away. The entrance to the castle itself was now wide open. When the dust cleared, the remaining soldiers, knights and their general stood as the last line of defense. The invasion was coming to a close. However, they had heard nothing from Muk since he had went in solo. Had something happened to the Commander? Did he get captured? All of these questions ran through the minds of the Vampirates. But they would not get their answers until they defeated the army in front of them. Koza panted heavily, tired from the whole ordeal. While he had taken little damage the entire time, his stamina could not keep up with the powerful techniques he was forced to use. His strength was almost spent. On the other hand, KG was rearing to go. This general had a powerful aura, it was finally somebody that could provide a challenge.

"You must be.... one of the Generals! Get out of our way!"

Before the other Vampirates could react, Koza flew forward using the functions of his raid suit. He made an attempt to overwhelm and catch him off guard with his flying speed. With a hardened Jutte in his grasp, Koza aimed strike the man in the skull with a normal swing enhanced by black Busoshoko!

"Aye, Koza! Wait up!"

The Castle

Cletus slammed the man hard with his attack, resulting in a fiery explosion at point blank. The enemy general was sent flying into a structure nearby, crashing into it and destroying into completely. The rubble and debris piled onto the man and would remain unmoved. The lunarian had won. Cletus eye's flashed with the color of ember a split second. He was satisfied with the generals defeat.

"That's for my men! Fufufufufufufufufu!!"

Simultaneously, Cletus would hear an explosion in the distance. The invasion wasn't done. Behind of him, the Sunspear soldiers were probably all but defeated and all that was left now was to make the castle theirs. Vidarr's voice would creep into his thoughts, making his presence known once again.

Gurarararara... What happened to that talk about being an agent of Vengeance, not choas?

Cletus would signal to his crew within the shorewall to stand down. His smile melted. It was time to finally end this.

You can consider that an act of vengeance. I cannot ignore the fire that ignites within my chest when my comrades lives are threatened. Even if I had left him be, he would have had to pay. That's how I feel. This is what you did to me. Is what it means to be an agent of Vengeance?

The Lunarian could feel Vidarr's consciousness slowly fade from his mind. But he would give parting words.

Yes. Your will to avenge will always be there. This is what you chose years ago. This is now who you are until your last breath. I will interfere with you no further from here, until you call for me of course. I did my part and now you must do yours. I only appeared to remind you that I'm always present. Farewell.

Cletus scoffed in response. With the deity now gone, his smile returned and he addressed his men.

"I'm entrusting the wall to you! Tend to your wounded friends, I'll be back when this is done!"

WIth resounding "aye ayes", Cletus kicked off using his explosive flight to cross the distance quickly. Heading im the direction of the explosion, the lunarian intended to regroup with his friends.

With the vast majority of the defenders taken out, barring the ground troops on the courtyard – the final obstacle. While one of them is soon reaching the limits of their physicality, the other however is much more energetic. That said, Koza immediately went for the attack, not waiting on for anyone. Flying towards Oberyn with his raid suit, Koza swung at the commander with his jutte in hand, aimed at the man’s skull presumably from overhead. However, things are not as easy as he would think so – even if he already has such expectations of his plan of action. Sidestepping towards the side with a larger stride, Oberyn immediately dodge the incoming jutte as he immediately swung his spear from one of his hands, swung horizontally towards Koza with the intention of using Koza’s forward momentum provided by flight function of the raid suit to crash into the entirety of the outstretched now-blackened spear shaft that would likely unbalance him in mid-air. The distance between Koza and Oberyn is about a spear distance, making it much more difficult for Koza to immediately swing his jutte against him beyond arm’s length.

Even should Koza’s Raid Suit possessed methods to stabilize in the mid-air, those fair few seconds are precious. That with Oberyn’s other hand wielding a sword, immediately fired an air blade at that instance that Koza is dealing with the spear whilst moving past Koza, turning around as he did to make sure not only did his attack would hit accurately at Koza but also maintain visual upon him in case of any counter attacks.

On the other side of the battle, with Areo taken out – Cletus now has the ability to get to the castle almost unimpeded by anyone else. The invasion of Sunspears is too chaotic for anyone else to stop him from doing so as the defenders continues to fight their battles around the city.

With the increased speed granted to him by the boosters of his Raid Suit, Koza swung his Jutte from overhead, aiming to crush the General's skull with all of his might. But the General wasn't a man that would go down so easily, years of combat experience enhanced his body to supernatural levels. He wasn't going down as easily as his men. He sidestepped the Vampirates Jutte with ease, Koza's eyes widened in shock as his attack missed completely. With a spear in hand, the general swung horizontally at blinding speeds towards the Rebel. Using his forward momentum against him, Koza crashed into the outstretched blackened spear shaft. Coughing up blood, Koza was now unbalanced him in mid-air, spinning wildly from the blow. Sparks erupted from his armor as the Raid Suit malfunctioned and stopped working. The damage was too much for it to bear.

"GWAH!"

The General followed up his attack, immediately with another. With the sword available in his other hand, he unleashed a powerful air slash that tore through Koza's back.

Blood erupted in all directions as the Vampirate's body slumped to the ground with a thud. Koza was defeated.

"KOZA!!!" KG shouted in anger and disbelief. After a long streak of victories, Koza was defeated and Muk was nowhere to be found. The giant raised a Haki coated axe in rage. With an overhead swing, the giant unleashed one of his strongest techniques. A massive destructive air slash.

"You'll pay for that, you lil shit! Boston Horizon!"

The General and his remaining knights were faced with a massive and powerful attack. Would they manage to deflect it and defend their castle? Or would it plow through them, giving open passage to the King's throne.

All the while Cletus would just arrive on the scene, having seen Koza's defeat he was filled with rage and regret. He couldn't help but feel this was his fault from the beginning.

"Dammit, Muk!! Koza!!"

A quick counter attack by Oberyn, making use of Koza’s recklessness to take him out in a series of swift motion. With that, Koza was taken down fairly quickly – blood erupted from the impact of the air blade fired from point blank as Koza presumably lost consciousness from that point on, falling onto the ground. It was nothing short of a shock to the men of Vampirates, but also a morale boost for the men of Sunspears. Shock then followed by rage, KG roared in anger. He would not believe that mere men from the Blues has such skills to take out one of them, presumably. In retaliation of Koza’s defeat, the giant unleashed a powerful air blade through an overhead swing, sent towards them with incredible power.

The men of Sunspear quickly brought everyone in a tight formation, the knights raised their shields against the incoming attack. They were willing to sacrifice their lives for their people and so the knights would clash head-on, doing whatever it takes to protect the castle. The air blade, strong – would almost immediately destroy the formation of knights, likely killing them head-on or sustaining massive injuries that would cause them to lose consciousness. It almost seems like it did nothing, but it did. It slowed the attack for a few seconds, very slightly weakening the attack in the process. Oberyn himself, knew the castle would not fall, for the lives of his people were at stake – jumped at the aftermath of the attack, raising his weapons to strike against the air blade.

Before long, a powerful shockwave would occur at the clash, before the air blade finally dissipated. Causing dust, smoke, sand to arise from the ground. Cletus would arrive, but before he would know it, the battle is all but almost over. As the obscured particles settles back onto the ground. Only a single man remained, Oberyn – his body taken a large amount of injuries as blood could be seen everywhere upon his body, one of his arm – taken by the air blade, only the other held onto the spear remained.

Coughing out blood. The man stood tall proudly, he could barely moved, only any form of defensive action is possible in his situation.
