Located near the center of South Blue is the Briss Kingdom, a prosperous kingdom with few complaints from its citizens. Or so would they have you believe. It is one of the largest Kingdoms in the world, ruled by the Mad King Aerys Targaryen in the main capitol of King's Landing. From there he rules over the 8 other provinces of the kingdom.

Briss Island Part #1​

A few weeks had passed after the hectic events of the Pirate Festival, and an expedition to the Briss Kingdom was organized. The Kingdom of Briss was one of the largest and most properous in the world, containing a whopping total of 8 providences. For this reason, Gambit made it top priority to absorb this massive kingdom into his Soviet Union as quickly as possible.

Cletus, having been promoted to Commander of Ground, now possessed a vessel of his own the Armageddon. He was the first to arrive in the waters of Briss along with KG, Koza, Janemba and Freeza. Together they all gathered on the deck of his ship to discuss their strategy, making sure to stay achored far enough out at sea to avoid early detection.

"You sure it wouldn't be wiser to wait for the others to arrive?" Koza questioned, eye's on him waiting for the lunarian's answer.

Cletus met his gaze, determination shone through his eyes. "We hit them now. Waiting just prolongs their inevitable defeat. Once we've wittled down the first kingdom, the others will assume they have a good grasp of our numbers. Then when the others arrive and join up with us, the full might of the fleet will catch them off guard. Maybe it will make them more likely to surrender saving us alot of hassle."

The Giant nodded his head at Cletus's reasoning. "He gotta point there Koza. Besides, we aint even really need tha others. With me and Cletus hea we can steam roll through em." KG said flexing his right bicep.

Koza shook his head. "That seems unwise. We don't have much intel on Briss besides the basics. We're running into this territory blind. There's no guarentee both of you heavy hitters will be enough to carry us through."

Cletus walked over to the blonde rebel and put his hand on his shoulder, giving him a small uncharacteristic smile. "A wise man once said, dont be afraid to face your fears." Koza rolled his eyes and swatted away the lunarian's hand.

"You've developed a sense of humor now? I'm not afraid." Cletus smirked in reply.

"Asshole. Fine, when do we start?"

"Now, monkey."

Freeza had finally decided to speak up, growing tired of the long discussion. "Janemba and I have already taken the liberty of exploring the best places to strike. We aren't the Cheifs of Black Ops for nothing." He said with a cheeky grin.

"And those are?"

"The kingdoms closest to the coasts. Sunspear, Storm's Edge and Castorly Rock."Janemba answered, itching to get to fighting.

KG cracked his neck, getting pumped up. "Which of those three are tha closest to us."

"Sunspear, monkey."

KG cracked his knuckles in annoyance. "What was that?"

"Then that's our first target." Cletus said quickly, not wanting a fight to break out on his ship.

"We go in straight forward, no special strategy. There's no point, since he have no intel."

"Which is why this is a bad idea. I hope you know what you're doing Cletus." Koza said in an annoyed tone.

Cletus began leaving the group to prepare for the attack. "Koza, your fear is showing."

"Fuck off. We'll see you on shore."

KG laughed and the Vampirates returned to their respective ships and raised achors. If any of the citizens of Sunspear were paying attention, they would notice the appearance of five warships heading in their the direction of their kingdom. How they react to the sudden appearance remains to be seen.

Briss. A large and powerful Kingdom known through the South Blue, a Kingdom comprised of eight provinces which is ruled by a tyrant, known by Mad King Aerys Targaryen. Despite what seems to be a prosperous Kingdom, hidden beneath its surface lies deceit, alliance and betrayals – muddied with political strife. Each province has their own problems and each province seems to be rifled with extreme weathers to a certain extent. With political strife surrounding the Kingdom, each province always has their armies ready to deal with any potential threats, a time of uncertainty taken its toll upon the people of Briss. When is the next conflict? When will the reign of Aerys Targaryen be over? When will a new leader rise up to unify Briss under a more peaceful ruler? But for now, the province rulers continue to work with and against each other. It’s a game of politics after all. Spies are everywhere, and any gain into the politic games is advantageous.

And so the Silver Vampirates attempts their luck on their game of politics. Cletus, sent by the pirates to continue their expansion of their own version of Totto Land to an extent. However, without much preparation for their quest, the pirates set forth to a more direct confrontation. Five warships, sighted upon the horizons from the shores of the capital of Dorne, Sunspear. But the sighting of a fleet of ships is fairly easily spotted. After all, the capital is based near waters, thus the city is well defended for any sea invasions.

“Captain! Five warships sighted off the coast! They do not seem to belong from House Frey!”

“What!? Let me see!”

The Captain took the spyglass from the scout and peered into the distance with it, it is definitely of no Houses that the man knows of. But the Captain isn’t one to completely disregard and allow any ships especially one that is a warship too close to the capital. The Captain would quickly order his man into positions.

“Get ready in case they are going to attack us! Fire a warning shot!”

The guards would scramble quickly. Fortified. They possess quite a large amount of cannons facing towards the sea. Getting hit by a bombardment of these cannons would greatly damage even a large fleet of ships. And the Captain expect a warning shot to drive off the intruders, or at least create a situation for intruders to think twice before straying too close.

BOOM

A single fire is shot from a cannon. Hitting the waters just a distance away from the fleet of ships. It missed, likely the range of the cannon fire. The ships have not strayed too close to where the guards of Mantrell would believe that they are being attacked yet. But the Captain would observe the ships with his spyglass, looking to be sure that there are any sign of non-aggression coming from the ships before making his decision.

Briss Island #1

Sitting in the back of the ship, on the deck, Muk was trying to sleep though it all. A bit sleepy, the pirate scratched his face as his eyes were slowly opening up. Feeling his body waking up more and more, the Chief of Staff suddenly understood that his power nap was now over.

"Seems that my beauty sleep is now over"

Mumbling those words, Muk got up and stretched his body. Holding his cane, the Mink Hybrid now walked towards the front of the ship. Seeing the crew going in the assault, Muk looked ahead at what seemed to be a stretch of land. As he got excited, a surge of electro left his body and channeled through his cane and onto the deck. The surge of electricity quickly vanished once it met the deck.

"Dorne. If I am not mistaken, it seemed we've arrived."

Briss Island #2

The five commanders had agreed to attack the Sunspear providence. Sunspear was the southernmost of the seven kingdoms on Briss, and as the Vampirates would soon find out, it consisted of a strong fortified castle as wells a town that sprawls around it. The town is built entirely of mud and straw, fragile. However it's largest structure was the Spear Tower, a structure that stood at 150 feet tall with a pinnacle of shining steel. Even from such a distance, the tower was the first thing Cletus could see from afar. His curiosity piqued, Cletus took out his Den Den Mushi to contact Freeza.

"Freeza, what else do we know about Sunspear?" Cletus asked inquisitively.


"Just because you are a commander now doesn't mean you don't address me with more respect boy. I'm still you're elder Lunarian." Freeza replied in an annoyed tone.

"My apologies....Sir." Cletus said coldly.

"Much better. We don't know much, as we surveyed the Kingdoms near the coast very briefly. The kingdom is walled all around and there's a name that's mentioned often. The "Martells". Janemba and I suspect those are the people in power."

Cletus rubbed his chin as he pondered the information before hanging up his Den Den Mushi.

The Martells huh. If these Martell people are the leaders of this providence, then surely we will find them in that large structure.

Cletus was quickly taken out of his thoughts by the sound of cannon fire as a shell hit the water in front of their vessels missing them. The Vampirates were finally detected and this attack appeared to be a warning shot. However this did not deter them and they still pressed forward. Taking initiative, Cletus walked toward the bow of the Armegeddon before shouting to his comrades.

"It appears we've gotten our first warning shot. I'll lead the first attack. Open fire after me."

"GO FOR IT CLETUS!!"
"It's so annoying how you're taking charge like we're you're underlings...whatever."
"You better hit him hard my boy!"
"Humph"

They now sailed into the range of enemy cannons, but the Vampirates were worried not, for this wasn't something they weren't used to. Cletus sucked in air into his lungs, generating fire within them before releasing an orb of fire that traveled from the distance. If the fireball managed to successfully hit its mark it would vaporize the soldiers, the cannons and the wall they stood on.

Following Cletus, the Vampirates would begin to open fire on the walls of the of Sunspear, singling that they have declared war.

Incendio Respiero - Grand Fireball: Cletus fills his lungs with air before generating fire within them. Afterwards he releases a giant orb of fire from his mouth that maintains its shape until hitting a target. Upon impact, the fireball is powerful enough to crater the ground and vaporise the surroundings. Against living targets, the fireball can cause extensive burns and in worse cases incineration.

The warning shot is ignored. The Vampirates would have decided to attack anyway, taking advantage of being able to fire the first shot to attack. Cletus, decidedly exhales a powerful fireball but he made a mistake – the fireball even should it ever have the chance to fly that far towards the city walls would been such an obvious attack – one that makes it possible to be easily avoided by the soldiers. The fireball would travel, followed by the cannons from the fleet of warships, all aimed at the walls of the Capital. The Guard Captain, seeing the incoming fireball as a declaration of war from whomever they are. An attack that the Sunspears have very powerful defences to easily repel with.

“DODGE!”

The Captain shouted as the soldiers would quickly escape from the trajectory of the incoming fireball. The fireball would hit the wall – but soon Cletus would find that the Sunspears aren’t as fragile as he would think. Perhaps have they attacked decades earlier they would still be ‘mud and straws’. But the modernization of not just the Sunspears but of all provinces in Briss would make any invasion a problem. The wall stood. Quite damaged, but it stood – a powerful wall that isn’t easily destroyed. After all, the Sunspears are well equipped for a naval invasion, it is their livelihood at stake given the geological position of their province. The cannonballs, would follow, the damage would continue to accumulate as bits of the wall started to fall, eventually this particular section of the wall would be rendered useless should the cannonball barrages continues to focus upon that particular area. But the Vampirates are still far out at sea, it would take a while to reach even close to the shores at full speed. And now they would experience the fury of the Sunspears.

“FIRE! CHARGE THE SUNSPEAR CANNON! LOAD THE MORTARS!”

The soldiers reacted to the order. Some would quickly head to this ‘Sunspear cannon’, what does this cannon does is unknown. But now, the ongoing barrage of cannons would now be met with even greater barrage of cannons.

BOOM

A massive amount of cannonballs would be fired from the Sunspears, an amount so large that it would put the Vampirates’ fleet to shame. Naval defence is the pride of the Sunspears and each barrage of the cannonballs are enough to level a city in a short time. How would the Vampirates react? The amount of cannonballs would be enough to damage the fleet as a whole, quite easily.

Looking at Cletus as he unleashes his Incendio Respiero - Grand Fireball, Muk simply smiled and giggled. Contrary to the rest of crew, Muk wasn't as vocal as them. Being the sophisticated pirate that he was, it was beneath him to show such a public demonstration, so he opt to just let the crew to do so. Walking towards the front of the ship, the pirate held hard on his cane and looked at the fire works.

"Well well..."

Saying those words, as he saw the enemies counter attacking. Unsheathed his cane, thus revealing it to be in fact his sword. Muk knew that it was up to him to make sure they dock in Dorne.

As his Electro flows through his blade, Muk waited until the projectiles were at the right distance from their ship. Grinning as it was time to swing. Moving it diagonally, that quick movement released a blast of air slash. The slash was imbued with electro, as well as an invisible coating of haki.

"Blue-Hitoyogiri"

Calling out his move as it connects with the projectile, if successful the attack would hit the cannons and force an eruption. Thus avoiding damage on their ship as they made their way towards their objectives. Sheathed the blade as he was done.

Looking behind as he done that, he smirks at the crew and talks to them:

" LETS SHOW THOSE GENTS WHO IS THE MOST TERRIFIC CREW IN THE GREAT BLUE SEAS! SHIHIHIHIHI..."

Cletus' attack crashed into the walls of Sunspear with a massive BOOM! The five ships pushed forward, raining cannon fire as they advanced at full speed. The Lunarian raised a brow in surprise. The wall held, despite Cletus using one of his strongest techniques.

"I've gravely underestimated their defences."

Underestimate them he did. Perhaps in a different scenario Cletus would have dominated the forces of Sunspear by hunting them down directly. However this was a naval battle, and as he would soon learn, war is more complex than simply attacking head on. Sunspear responded to the Vampirates barrage of cannon fire with one of their own, but on a massively larger scale. Cletus' eyes widened, failing to completely react in time as a some cannon balls hit the deck of the Armageddon. His men cried out as the explosions and impact sent them flying.

"GAHHH!!"
"ARGHHH!!"

In an attempt to quickly mitigate the damage, Cletus coats his hand in hardening before generating a fire ball into his palm and fires it above the deck. The fireball took the shape of a shield as Cletus waited, intending to collide and stop the onslaught with it if successful. Flickers of black danced within the fire.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Vampirates had long made their moves.

KG donned his Game Time Suit as he eagerly challenged the cannon fire head on.

"SPARKING KG!"

Sparking KG!: The user releases several energy beams from his hand in quick succession, which pierce through anyone they strike and can easily hit multiple people close together at once. This attack is strong enough to severely injure Charlotte Oven and cause him to cough up blood.

KG roared as several Haki enhanced energy beams let loose from his palms in an attempt to pierce through the oncoming assault. If the attack is successful, the two attacks would explode keeping his ship from taking damage.

"Tha people of Sunspear seem like alotta fun, eh Cletus? Ha ha ha!!"

Simultaneously, the others leaped into the air and attacked in union with their Raid Suits equipped as well, intending same results as the rest.

The attacks flew one behind the other, clashing with the cannon balls in order to stop them from damaging their respective vessels.

Sunspear's naval defence was proving to be a challenge. However the Vampirates refused to let that stop them. On this day Sunspear will be taken in the name of the Silver Vampirate Empire.

The barrage of cannons, destroyed through the efforts of powerful members of the Silver Vampirates crew, but despite those efforts, the initial wave of cannons hit the ships as they have underestimated the Sunspears. A valiant effort was put forth both by them and the Sunspear. But the Sunspear wasn’t done, they were prepared against powerful navy enemies, very well-prepared in fact. And soon the Silver Vampirates would see, the Pirates were on a timer, very short timer – that if they don’t make landfall soon – they may soon fall to the Sunspear’s most powerful weaponry in their arsenal. With both Cletus and Muk, as well as their entourage would start using their almighty raid suits to their advantage. Despite the attack, the ships continue to push towards the shores of Sunspear, now almost half-way through the initial distance between the shores and the pirate fleet.

“Fire the Spear Mortars and the Harpoons!”

“Y-Yes sir!!”

“What is the current status of the Sunspear Cannon!?”

“32% SIR!”

“QUICKLY CHARGE IT UP!! Get more troops up here! They are getting closer!”

A third of the Sunspear Cannon is charged. But before that, from the bottom of the castle walls, a smaller, but straight forward barrage of large spears was fired from small ports. Acting much like a drill, these massive spears unlike actual harpoons do not have any rope attached to them. They would aim to literally pierce even the most powerful hulls of a ship with relative ease, especially that there are big group large spears being fired at once. At the same time from the far back from the walls, several mortars are fired into the sky. Just mere moments after the harpoons were fired – 5 gigantic large burning spears could be seen hot dropping down on the pirate fleet with incredible size that is be as big as a massive warship alone, enough to be seen as a giant meteor of sorts. Afterwards, more barrage of cannons were fired - the resistance is growing against the Silver Vampirates.

Grinning as he saw the Sunspears still going at it, Muk was overconfident that it was futile. Not really paying attention at the crew, Muk was focused in getting a foot on land. He disliked fighting on the ship, so he knew that if he wished to really fight he had to go on land.

Seeing the many projectile coming for them, Muk holding tightly on his sword screamed out an order:

"GENTS! LET'S STOP THIS. THE SOONER WE MAKE IT TO THE SHORE, THE SOONER WE'LL BE ABLE TO GET A CONTROL ON THE SITUATION! BACK ME UP CLETUS!"

As he gave the order, Muk looked in the air where some of the projectiles were coming from. In a quick movement, Muk jumped in the air towards them. In a quick succession the pirate would be thrusting is blade into the projectiles. If successful, many of the Harpoons would be either dealt with or diverted to miss the ship. He knew that the main goal was to dock with no major damage to the ship, after that all bets are off.

Leaving the Mortar and Cannons to be handled by the crew, as Muk landed back on the ship. He kept his eyes on his foes and as well at the shore. The sooner he was on land, the sooner they can start conquering.

Gavotte Bond en Avant (革命舞曲 (ガボット) ・ボンナバン Gabotto Bonnaban?, literally meaning "Gavotte: Leap Forward"): A thrusting technique, the user propels himself forward in order to strike an opponent. This move can be done even in mid-air.
