You could have got one from a wild horsea. They have a 5% (8% in gsc) chance to carry a dragon scale.

not gonna lie Sword and Shield, the most boring game ever played
Got all the way to the Champion, and i'm just standing outside Wyndom place and lost interest in the game.

I had fun with the game, but just because i enjoy the basic elements like catching all the pokemon and training them up.
But there was so much missed potential. Imagine if the entire map was the wild area, and after the introduction ceremony you could just challenge them in whatever order you wanted, with the leaders pokemon scaling to the amount of badges you have.
And the main story was a huge disappointment.

Yes! If they desecrate that sacred ground they will lose me as a customer for good. Maybe.
I just hope they make it even harder than i remember. Gen 4 was my first.

It's so weird to think about; when gen 4 came out I remember it constantly being ridiculed as the worst mainline Pokemon game.
It's personally always been my favorite even though Ruby was my first Pokemon game.
Lately I've been seeing more and more people longing for a gen 4 remake, it's just weird thinking back to the unwarranted hate.

They may do with all the shit known as "Giga" and "Dynamax"
If they remove that and bring back in Mega's or so i'll like the games but Sword and Shield is a taster for a future of pokemon

Just wanna ask this: I saw this video quite a few months ago, prior to the game's actual release, and so I want to know exactly how accurate is this video, when compared to the actual release of the game?
Were the issues mentioned in this video still present in the actual release? I don't mind the others, but I'd be completely flabbergasted if the horrendous pokemon scaling shown here, as well as the trainers being in the middle of the arena between two gigantic pokemon in dynamax mode still existed... That'd be weird to see.
Unfortunately, I've also read comments in reddit that Sw/Sh completely dumbed down the complexity.. like, there's no super complex area or puzzle that you have to go through; and that routes seemed more shorter and linear, no huge buildings to explore, like Silph Co, as well as the abysmal hand-holding that's been overdone in this game...
Some people even say it's the most straight-forward pokemon game they ever played... All this really doesn't help me view pokemon Sw/Sh in a positive light at all..... and it's a shame because the same guy who made that video also did a video on things that were done right on Sw/Sh, and the wild area impressed me a lot.
