INSIDE THE CASTLE
When the soldiers arrived at the interrogation room, the commander told them to confine the individuals in segregated rooms and conduct interrogations until they could gather information about their identities and the whereabouts of the missing guards. This technique tried to solve the conundrum of doubt surrounding the strangers and the guards' mysterious absence. Following the commander's orders, the soldiers promptly and methodically followed protocol by placing the individuals in separate enclosed locations for extensive questioning. The Commander's tone conveyed a feeling of urgency, emphasising the important importance of precision and detail in the interrogation process in order to uncover vital evidence that could perhaps untangle the intricate web of secrets intertwined within this perplexing circumstance.

OUTSIDE THE CASTLE

When patrolling the area, the princess and her soldiers purposefully chose the less secure back of the castle, where the cliff's natural fortification gave only minimal protection. As they approached this location, they noticed signs that unauthorised people had been frequenting the area and using the rarely utilised stairs. "Contact the guard quarters immediately and notify all personnel of the presence of intruders inside the castle. Instruct them to properly investigate the entrance to this stairway from the king's hall," the princess commanded, her voice urgent.
Realising the gravity of the threat, the princess looked to the general for help, her previously placid demeanour now laced with dread and anxiety. Following the general's fast answer, she urgently transmitted the information, "This is an emergency issue. It appears like we are dealing with a breach coming from the cliffside. Ensure the safety of the royal family. I will meet with you in the specified meeting rooms."
With her instruction clear and her resolve firm, the princess and her entourage moved quickly to meet the mounting threat and protect the royal household.

Being led inside one of the castle’s interrogation rooms, the other being occupied by his fellow disguised guard

Well formerly disguised at this point

One of the men internally humored, it wasn’t an entirely unexpected outcome. It probably was overly ambitious of a play for them to have infiltrated a kingdom with tenured guards and simply replace a few with no one noticing. After all, no matter how mundane or incompetent some of the original guards may have been. They were still seen and heard day in and day out and as such their voices and routines would become something memorized

Doubt, no matter how small started to creep in. And once that snowflake of doubt started, it was very easy for it to gain momentum and begin a slide into an avalanche. Was this a suicide mission for the jump? Did the new person who just strolled up to their encampment so casually, sell them out to Ilusia Kingdoms royalty for a payday or for his own personal gain? Preposterous….but then again, nobody knew who he was. He was an unknown quantity to them all

Such thoughts and fears orbited his mind without reprieve. They polluted his thought process and brought cracks upon his formally indomitable spirit as a member of the Revolutionary army

To think this was all some kinda set up from the beginning! That bastard walked in and used all of our careful planning and preparation over the last few weeks and months for his own selfish gain. How dare he use such heavy handed methods and outright lies to get the castles attention, there’s way too many guards focused on us. He’s basically pointed a giant spotlight on us….and brought the top general and the princess out into the open….along with so many extra guards

Soon he realized, it was playing out as the stranger had said it would earlier in the day. They were the distraction force but also constituted as scouts, with the kingdom in such disarray lately anything out of the normal would be scrutinized far more heavily. Which would require more man power but there are only so many people in the castle and to gather those necessary forces would require taking them from other places around the castle

Meaning, right now is the most vulnerable the two kings are ever gonna be. Crazy bastard actually pulled it off, guess I gotta apologize for doubting the guy when I see him

Rooftop Guards
"This is an emergency issue. It appears like we are dealing with a breach coming from the cliffside. Ensure the safety of the royal family. I will meet with you in the specified meeting rooms."
Hearing the princess relay her message, the two undercover watchmen’s eyes widen at the declaration. Panicking, they took a few steps backwards till they were out of sight and hurriedly turned to where Yama and Hack hung from the window sills, in a panicked and hushed whisper they relayed the news

“Oi, we have a problem. The princess noticed some tracks at the backside of the castle and is really suspicious. She jus issued an emergency message and wants the royal family secured”

Hearing their words, both Hack and I realized we were on a severe time crunch and had to grab them now. Ever so gently nudging the windows open a few inches simultaneously, we both crept upon the window sills and rushed forwards. Securing the lone guard in reverse chokehold until he slipped into unconsciousness, I caught him before his body could hit the carpeted floor and propped him up against a bookshelf next to the closet

“Aight, time for you to vanish idiot son”

Quietly stalking over, I wrapped my hands around his neck and squeezed tightly. A few seconds later his eyes shot open in panic and fear, he tried thrashing around to make noise and alert anyone. Unfortunately I had my body stop his, my knees keeping arms securely pinned to bed to restrict his movements. Another few moments and his body went limp as he joined his guard in the land of dreams, seeing this I hoisted him over my shoulder and moved to the window. Before remembering to go back and grab the den den mushi from the unconscious man and slipped it onto my pocket. Walking outside, I made sure to close the window behind me as I leapt back onto the wall that connected to the tower, Hack landed behind me not a second later, the old man securely held under his arm, making sure we both squatted down to keep from being seen

“Good job man, let’s drop these idiots off with our guys and get the people the captured and get tha hell outta this place. I stole one of their Den Den Mushis so we could get some info on where they’re keeping everyone”

“Good idea, otherwise this will turn into searching for a needke in a haystack as they say”

Nodding to him, we crept over to our men and handed the two kings over. Shakily they received them but knew it was their time to fulfill their objective and bring the mission home for us

“Hea, now like we said get em onto that boat along with tha guys in that corridor. And get going, Haxk and I are gonna double back and grab the stragglers and we’ll be right behind yall as soon as we’ve got em. Head to tha boat now”

Reaching down, I gently opened up the wooden latch that led to the corridor our men were at. Making sure to keep my voice as quite as possible, I relayed our success

“Objective secure, we’re a go. Exit the corridor and head out with these guys and leave on tha boat”

“Cmon Haxk, we’ve got a few good men to rescue”

GENERAL'S POV
After receiving a distressing message from the Princess, General wasted no time in embarking on a mission to ensure the king's safety. Sprinting to the nearby room where the current king was expected to be, his heart pounded with a mix of anxiety and determination as he pushed open the door, only to be met with an empty space devoid of regal presence. Undaunted, he dashed towards the former king's room, the echoes of his hasty footsteps reverberating through the palace halls. When he reached the vacant quarters, a shiver ran down his spine, signaling the somber realization that both kings had become targets of a nefarious conspiracy.

With a solid resolve, General immediately shifted his focus to unraveling the mystery surrounding the monarchs' disappearance as he traveled to the exact location where the Princess had discovered a crucial clue that could potentially shed light on the unfolding mystery. Concurrently, while maintaining a secure line of communication with the Princess, he relayed the unsettling news of the monarchs' disappearance, keeping her informed of the alarming developments.

PRINCESS'S POV

When the Princess arrived at the majestic building with her loyal guards by her side, she stopped in front of the grand windows that adorned the kings' chambers, marveling at their magnificence. In this serene moment of admiration, she noticed two mysterious figures cloaked in shadows, stealthily carrying what appeared to be a pair of people towards the tranquil riverbank that embraced the edges of the lush island.

To her complete surprise and shock, her secure communication device buzzed with a call from the diligent general, informing her of the shocking disappearance of both revered monarchs. The weight of this revelation pressed heavily on her heart as she realized that the events unfolding before her could be profoundly related to this mysterious disappearance.

Her keen intuition and astute deductive abilities kicked into high gear in an instant. Putting the puzzle pieces together with incredible speed, she realized with a surge of determination that the people being whisked away by those enigmatic shadows were none other than the missing kings themselves.
With a sense of urgency and resolve, she wasted no time in informing the general of her groundbreaking discovery, sharing her conviction that she had found the missing kings. Instructing the loyal general to meet her at the rendezvous point by the majestic river cliff, a steely resolve settled over her, preparing her to confront potential adversaries and bring closure to the enigmatic disappearance that had cast a shadow over the kingdom.

Creeping up to a corner of a corridor, I peeled around it. Seeing the expanse of the hallway barren, I breathed out a slight breath in relief

“Seems like tha coast is clear for now man, we gotta make this quick tho. No tellin how often they check tha kings rooms or what could be happenin to tha guys they restrained”

I whispered over my shoulder to Hack, to keep him up to date on the current events as well as using the small talk to hopefully assuage any concern or stress that may have taken root within his psyche

“It would seen so, plus with how that princess seems to be so observant and the general too. I’m concerned for our comrades in this expedition”

Smirking to myself about his manner of speech, I responded

“Exactly, so let’s get a move on. Also, you talk so proper man, relax hahaha”

As I quietly laughed, we crept through the corridor, mindful of where we stepped to avoid creating any extra noise or attract any unwanted attention. Especially out in the open as we currently were

“Still tho, I’m not inclined to searching this whole fuxkin castle. So soon as we find a guard, we force em to show us where the holding areas are, them bring em with us to make sure it’s not some bullshit, then knock his ahh out and we all get the hell outta hea. I wanna sleep already”

Firmly nodding his head, hack silently agreed and followed me down the hallway

When the general noticed the mystery persons rushing along the hallway with a victim in their arms, his sharp eyes focused on their unusual traits - one towering individual who resembled aquatic life. As it dawned on him that they were the perpetrators of the kings' kidnapping, a rush of concern and steadfast determination ran through his veins. Every heartbeat echoed the urgency of the events unfolding in front of his eyes. The gravity of the situation weighed hard on his thoughts as he realised the seriousness of the threat posed by these strange beings.

Without missing a beat, the general quickly communicated critical information to the princess via a secure communication channel. He made it apparent that he had recognised the invaders and was following them, methodically documenting their travels in the hopes of discovering more partners. Urging the princess to remain hidden and cautious, he told her to keep a close eye on the passage leading to the cliff, looking for any signs of collaboration with the offenders from prospective allies hiding in the shadows.

As tensions rose and the chase began, the general's strategic approach and unflinching devotion to safeguarding the kingdom became clear. The intruders' elaborate web of deception fuelled his ambition to arrest them and put an end to the royal family's agony. The general demonstrated great valour and leadership in the face of adversity by his fast thinking and resolute actions, prepared to face whatever obstacles arose in order to ensure the safety and well-being of everybody under his command.

“Aight buddy, let us know what we wanna know and you’ll make it home to ya family tonight, deal?”

I spoke to the guard Hack and myself had…commandeered, he leaned himself against the wall, trying to press himself closer and closer into the stone of the walls. Not wanting to betray the King but also not wanting to die

Clicking my tongue at his terrified state and looking to Hack at my side, I stood up and ran my hand through my hair at his stubbornness

“Cmon man, we ain’t got all night hea. You tell us what we need to know and you’re more than welcome to leave, I give ya my word we ain’t gonna do nun to ya, right Hack?”

I slapped Hack on the chest to try lightening the mood and get him to respond

“Of course! On my honor if you answer our questions, we will bring no harm to you and yours. We are on a virtuous mission for our brethren—“

“YOUR brethren, I jus got hea doggie”

“You’re right my apologies friend, we appreciate your help tonight”

“All good man, let’s jus wrap this up so we kan be on our way and get sum sleep”

Reaching up with both hands I stretched and let out a loud yawn, this mission had taken longer into the night than I had originally planned. But it wasn’t entirely unexpected, we were hastily invading the king of this island castle and kidnapping half of the royal family, in honesty it should have been this hard

Shrugging to myself, I returned my attention to our “captive”

“So what’s it gonna be man, you value these snobby ahh nobles over your family? You really think that they kare bout you and yours? You’ve gotta know that son is a fuxkin moron and isn’t fit for tha throne, his daddy might’ve been a man worth following, but you know as well as I do that those genes clearly skipped a generation”

Keeping my eyes trained on him, I figured I might as well let him know

“Decide quick now, we ain’t got all night and this is a one time only limited deal. Ain’t no take baxks, what’s it gonna be? All you gotta do is show us where they keeping tha guys they arrested tonight, we’ll do tha rest…..”

Away from the main waters of the Ilusia Kingdom, a ship quietly makes it way to a secret spot on one side of the island. The unmarked sails were only half up so it was going quite slowly, gently cresting the small waves and only slightly disturbing the surface of the sea. There was no distinguishing features on the entire ship, no flags flew and even the crew had no markings or anything on their clothing.

The Sea Pixie approaches what seems to be the side of the island, but was actually the entrance to a small cave that was only visible from a certain angle. Several people climb up the rigging and take down the small amount of sail that was up before throwing down some rope attached to parts of the mast/spars and to the crew below. Working together, they partly stow the wood sticking out and slightly reduce the height of the mast. A few crewmembers use oars to precisely guide it through the narrow entrance, the ship still only just fitting through and slightly scrapes against the sides as it goes towards the main cavern.

Collectively sighing with slight relief at having made it, even if they were quite late, the Revolutionary Army ship enters a fairly wide cavern with a low-roof. Another ship was moored on their left and had obviously been there a while. Nobody appears as the Sea Pixie is carefully turned around and docked next to a wooden path built into the side of the cave. A lavender-haired woman that is clearly one of the people in charge organizes the Revolutionaires into two groups, one that will join up with the agents already out preparing to liberate the kingdom and a second group that will protect the ships and create a base people can retreat to. Sophie herself was part of the former team and spreads out a map on a table that had been brought onto the main deck.

Pointing to where they are, she traces the finger along the map until it ends up in the city and addresses the second group
"If you can, try and find another location between here and there so we can fall back to this place and it is hidden more. Use this cave as more a place to treat the injured and a last resort rather than it being the main base" She looks everyone around her and the table in the eyes "Protect eachother and the civilians as best you can, we are not here to topple the entire country, we are here to liberate it from the corrupt people in charge" It would have been a good and profound few seconds if the actual leader of the group hadn't taken that moment to appear.

"Oh are we here?" A very small girl is suddenly on the side of the boat despite not being there a second ago, on her back was a sword much bigger than she was but would only be a shortsword for an average-sized person. The Dwarf crouches down and jumps with enough force to rock the entire ship, landing on the wooden pathway just before the small opening of rock that lead out of the cave and to the kingdom "Let's go make some chaos while we fix this place!... Oh and find Koala and the other Revolutionaries already on the island" Saying the last part a few seconds later as if she had forgot about them, Warrant Officer Jade Belle walks through the opening without waiting for a response or to make sure people were following her. Not even bothering to sigh, Sophie gives a few last minute instructions and then takes the normal route off the ship and up the wooden walkway along with a lot of other crewmembers. A loud noise comes from somewhere in the lower decks of the ship and the ones remaining behind look at each other before turning to Sophie and shouting at her to ask what they should do about Zazu.

Thinking for a few moments, the lavender-haired woman shouts back
"Leave him for now, he is still being punished for what he did earlier and will just cause problems if he were to fly around Ilusia anyway. Once the fighting starts you can probably let him out as there will no need for stealth by that point". She and the other Revolutionaries quickly follow after their leader, traveling up the slanted narrow path through the rock until it starts to level out and become dirt.

The liberation of Ilusia Kingdom begins

Thalassa Lucas
Thalassa Saul
Thalassia Valerie
General Dalia

High above the unrest creeping through the streets of Ilusia, within the palace that once stood as a symbol of unshaken rule, Thalassa Lucas sat upon his throne, the weight of it pressing heavier than it ever had before.

The chamber was dim, lit by slow-burning lamps that cast long shadows across the war table before him. Markers were scattered across its surface, some overturned, others pushed aside in haste. Reports lay half-open, ink still fresh on parchment that spoke of lost districts, broken lines, and uncertain control.

The cigar between Lucas’s lips had burned unevenly, the ash clinging stubbornly as though unwilling to fall in such a moment. His black eyes, still sharp despite the illness wearing at him, remained fixed on the table. He did not move. He did not speak.

He listened.

To the faint echo of unrest bleeding in from the city beyond the palace walls. To the shifting weight of those gathered in the room. To the quiet, creeping sound of something slipping beyond control.

Too quiet,” Lucas muttered at last, his voice low and coarse but steady. “That is not the sound of rebellion. That is the sound before collapse.

His gaze lifted slowly, deliberate and heavy, until it settled upon his son.

Thalassa Saul stood across from him, posture straighter than usual as if forcing strength into his frame. His grin came quickly, too quickly, stretched across his bucktoothed face in a way that tried to pass for confidence.

They are scattered,” Saul said, his words coming with a touch too much urgency. “Our reports show they are moving in small groups, hiding. This is not an organised force. It is something we can handle.

He gestured towards the map, his hand hovering over marked districts, wavering only slightly before steadying itself.

I have already deployed additional forces to the outer sectors. Give me time and I will crush this uprising before it reaches the capital.”

There was a brief pause as his voice lowered, just enough to betray the strain beneath it.

They are just rebels.

Lucas did not respond. He simply watched, his eyes narrowing in a way that made the space between them feel tighter.

Near the edge of the chamber, where shadow met stone, Thalassia Valerie stood in silence.

Her presence was easy to overlook at a glance, as though she existed just outside the rhythm of the room. Long dark hair framed her face, unmoving as the tension thickened around her. Her posture was relaxed yet precise, every line of her body composed, controlled.

Her gaze did not rest on Saul.

It drifted past him, beyond the walls of the palace, as if something unseen had already drawn her attention.

They are here,” she said quietly.

Her voice was soft, almost fragile, yet it carried through the chamber with unmistakable clarity.

Saul turned sharply, irritation flickering across his face. “What do you mean ‘here’? Our scouts would have reported any approach to the capital.

Valerie did not look at him.

They do not move like an army,” she replied, calm and distant. “They move with intent.

For a moment, something deeper surfaced in her eyes, something sharper, almost otherworldly.

They are already inside Ilusia.

Before Saul could answer, the chamber doors opened with force.

Footsteps followed, heavy and unrestrained, breaking the stillness as General Dalia entered without pause.

My King,” Dalia called, his voice carrying urgency and heat. His armour bore fresh marks, his breathing steady but not rested, as if he had come straight from movement rather than command. “We have confirmation of coordinated incursions across three sectors. These are not riots.

He stepped forward and placed a firm hand against the war table, the impact dull but decisive.

They are targeting supply lines, communication posts, and patrol routes. Clean strikes. Fast execution. It is as if they have been operating here for weeks.

Saul’s expression faltered for the briefest moment before tightening again.

That is not possible,” he replied, sharper now. “Our surveillance would have detected that level of infiltration.

Dalia’s gaze met his without hesitation, unwavering.

Then your surveillance has already failed.

The room fell into silence.

Heavy and unyielding.

Lucas leaned back slightly into his throne, the faint creak of it echoing in the stillness. A thin trail of smoke drifted from his cigar as a faint smile touched the corner of his lips.

Not amusement.

Understanding.

So,” he said slowly, exhaling as the smoke curled into the air, “they chose the knife rather than the hammer.

His eyes moved between them, measuring.

Saul, holding onto control by will alone.

Valerie, already aligned with what was coming.

Dalia, ready to meet it without hesitation.

This is not an uprising,” Lucas continued. “This is an operation.

Beyond the palace walls, the city began to stir.

A clash of steel broke the quiet somewhere in the distance. A shout followed, sharp and sudden, then another, spreading through the streets like a ripple turning into a wave.

The first sparks had caught.

What had entered Ilusia did not arrive as a storm to be seen and braced against.

It moved like a blade already in motion.

Valerie stepped away from the shadows without another word, her movements light, almost soundless as she turned towards the exit.

I will intercept them,” she said simply.

Dalia’s expression shifted, a fierce energy igniting behind his eyes as he moved to follow.

Then I will meet them head on.

Saul hesitated, if only for a moment, before stepping forward as well, forcing resolve into his voice.

I will lead from the front. They will see who rules this kingdom.

Lucas did not rise.

He remained seated, watching, calculating, his gaze distant as the weight of the moment settled fully into place.

…Let us see,” he murmured, his voice low and measured, “whether Ilusia can endure what it has become.

And below them, within the city now stirring into chaos, the sound of conflict finally began to take shape.

The entrance to the cave on foot was as hidden as the entryway via water. On the outskirts of the city where houses unevenly dotted the landscape inbetween barren roads and fields, an unassuming pile of stones was lying on the ground quite close to the city walls. Easily moving a few rocks out of the way despite them being bigger than her, Jade emerges into the shade of the large wall blocking the sunlight. Despite her earlier words and what people might expect from their first impressions of her, the Dwarf cautiously looks around to make sure nobody was around. Even if it hadn't been a very bad idea for their yet to be setup base of operations and way to escape to be found straight away, Jade could do stealth so would have been sneaky anyway.

Seeing nobody around and using her Observation Haki to make doubly sure, the small girl climbs over the stones and waits for the others to join her. As Sophie climbs out of the cave behind her closely followed by several other people, Jade looks up at the wall they were a few metres from. While very tall and made of brick, it was a bit rundown, or at least the part they were standing by was anyway. From the other side of the fortification came the sounds of the city, but it doesn't take long for the Revolutionaries to hear the sounds of metal on metal and gunshots underneath it. Shrugging to herself, Jade walks to the white brick while her subordinates quietly discuss the best way to enter. Before anyone can stop her and thinking it no longer matters to be that silent if the fighting had already started, she slightly jumps and gently punches the wall.

The difference in size was like a mouse attacking a house but the result was something very different. Without using anywhere near her full strength, the punch creates a large hole in the wall. It might have been a very bad idea for anyone else as there could have been a market or place with a lot of people to hit with the debris, but Jade has long since figured out how to destroy things like this the 'correct way'. Due to being quite rundown and suddenly having the lower part of it no longer supporting it, a fairly large section of the wall collapses and makes a pile of brick. Barely anything actually goes flying and becomes a danger as the power of the attack turned most of the debris to dust and the weight of the bricks above quickly fell and stopped the rest. But even if it hadn't worked like this, Jade knew there was a quiet street on the otherside due to her earlier use of Observation Haki. The sound of the wall section collapsing was very loud and drowned out even the gunshots for several seconds.

Sophie, Amy and the rest of the group standing behind her just stare at their leader. Some can't believe she just did that, others are less surprised but are still shocked as she half-destroyed a wall with a weak punch and Sophie is actually not surprised at all but just wishes she hadn't done it. A few of the new ones had yet to see this impulsive side of her, as they had only seen her in one battle and she had been sleeping when it started. Some shouts were coming from the nearby buildings as Jade casually climbed the debris and entered the actual city.

Sighing, the right-hand man of the Dwarf looked at the Revolutionaries still staring with their mouths slightly open
"Well we have a way in now so we better use it quickly" Following Jade inside, she sees that quite a few people were looking out of windows or had come out onto the street to see what has happened. Not wanting to explain, Sophie motions for everyone to disperse and complete their mission objectives. Within seconds, the group have run down the street out of sight, jumped up onto a small wall and disappeared behind it or climbed onto the roof of a nearby house and started running across to a different building.

Jade had made her way to a busier street, which she thinks is near to where someone was fighting. Looking for someone she recognizes the small girl absentmindedly avoids the feet of everyone, so used to walking around with people much bigger than her/not noticing her that she does it without thinking. Not seeing anyone, she makes her way to an objective that should have been taken care of already by the infiltrating Revolutionary Army members; securing the Western communication and supply post.

On the outer edge of Ilusia’s capital, where long shadows stretch across uneven ground and scattered homes, a subtle shift carries through stone and structure, quiet yet heavy enough to be felt within the palace before it is ever reported. Seated upon his throne, Thalassa Lucas remains still, the ember of his cigar faintly burning as the air grows dense with tension, his gaze unfocused yet intent as he listens to the distant pulse of the city before quietly murmuring, “It has begun.

Across from him, Thalassa Saul stiffens, unease creeping into his voice as he responds, “Begun? What are you talking about?” Yet before an answer can come, a deep, muffled impact reaches them, something heavier than steel or gunfire, rolling through the city like restrained thunder. Saul quickly straightens, forcing confidence into his tone as he adds, “It is just another skirmish in the outer districts. Nothing more.” From the shadows, however, Thalassia Valerie lifts her gaze, her voice calm and absolute as she corrects him, “No. That was not a clash. That was an entry.”

Her words are confirmed as General Dalia enters with urgency, his presence cutting through the tension as he reports, “My King, the western wall has been breached. A section collapsed instantly. No artillery, no sustained assault.” Saul turns sharply, disbelief evident as he snaps, “Instantly? That is impossible.” Dalia meets his gaze without hesitation and replies, “Then whoever did it does not fight by conventional means.” Lucas exhales slowly, smoke curling into the dim air as recognition settles across his features, his voice low and measured as he says, “A single, precise strike. Not to destroy, but to open. This is not chaos. This is design.”

Beyond the palace, the collapsed wall settles into ruin as dust lingers and civilians cautiously emerge, only to withdraw again as swift, purposeful movement passes through the streets, leaving behind the growing sense of something organised taking hold. Back in the chamber, Saul regains his footing and begins issuing orders, his voice firm though edged with strain as he insists, “Reinforce the breach. Lock down the surrounding districts. We still control this capital.” Valerie, however, quietly counters, “They are not spreading. They are already where they need to be. That breach was a signal, not a beginning.”

Dalia accepts this with a hardened resolve, his stance shifting as he declares, “Then give the order, and I will meet them head on.” Meanwhile, Lucas, still seated, outlines the pattern with calm clarity, his words steady as he observes, “Our supply lines are being severed, our communication weakened, and now our walls opened. They are dismantling us piece by piece.” As the western district stirs and unseen movements align deeper within the city, Saul clenches his jaw and states, “Then we find them and end this now,” forcing resolve into every word, while Valerie falls silent once more, her gaze distant as if already tracing what comes next.

Leaning back slightly, Lucas allows a faint, knowing smile to surface as he gives his approval, his voice quiet yet carrying as he concludes, “Very well. Let us see which breaks first. The blade that has entered our kingdom, or the hand that wields it,” while beyond the palace, the operation continues unseen, steadily reshaping the fate of Ilusia.

If anyone was to look down, all they would probably see is a scabbard with the handle of a sword sticking out walking around. For a human it would be a short sword, but it was bigger than the entire body of the Dwarf whose back it was on. Nobody was paying attention to their feet however so the small girl easily passes through the small crowds wandering the streets while heading to her destination.

Jade wasn't running or even jogging, casually taking her time with steps so small it should've taken her minutes to go distances that anyone else would do in seconds. And yet the Warrant Officer was actually making good time, going through districts at the same pace as a human would. She occasionally had to go through gaps between crates that was stacked in the middle of the road, go along the edges in busy places or make detours to avoid guards, but for the most part she walked a straight path to the furthest Western district without encountering any problems.

At the threshold between districts, she doesn't continue up the road and instead quickly jumps and climbs up the side of a house. From the higher vantage point, Jade looks around for the target; a small building with a large antenna on the roof that was surrounded by a large fence. After a few moments she spots it and quickly notices a few guards firing bullets at someone running around just inside the fence. On the ground was a handful of other guards, although the Dwarf couldn't tell from this distance if they were dead or just unconscious. She thinks about helping from this range but quickly discards the idea as there was no guarantee the enemies would be in the same place by the time her attack reached the communication post and she might even hit the Revolutionary member by accident.

Instead Jade just makes her way towards the building, running across the rooftops and jumping across any gaps between the houses. All people would see if they happened to be looking up would be a blur as the small girl was moving very fast and didn't even slow down when in mid-air. About 50 metres away, she has to jump back down to the ground as there was now just a pathway between her and the fence protecting the building. Not bothering with going to the closed fence gate, the Dwarf puts her hand on the handle of her sword and draws Nikko just before launching herself over the metal barricades and joining the small-scale battle
"Anyone mind if I join in?"

Heading towards a location nearly on the other side of the city from their leader, Sophie cautiously leads a small group up a deserted street. They weren't making much progress as it was a perfect place to setup an ambush and the Revolutionaries had already fought and been seen by a few soldiers so were no longer concealing their weapons, meaning they would easily be seen as targets by the forces of Ilusia. Using hand signals rather than words, they keep making their way to what should be the base their allies had been using while infiltrating the city. The group knew the fighting had started but didn't yet know if it was a recent development or if it had already been going on for hours. This was the main reason they were being so cautious, as the base could already be compromised and soldiers were watching it in hiding places to try and catch the people heading to it.

Post 3 - @Ziosa

Within the palace, the distant sounds of Ilusia's unrest continued to build, gunfire and steel carried faintly through stone walls, each report another reminder that the city was no longer fully under royal control. Thalassa Lucas sat unmoving upon his throne, cigar glowing softly between his fingers as his dark eyes studied the shifting markers upon the war table. “They move quickly,” he observed, smoke curling lazily into the air. “Not like rioters. Like professionals.

Thalassa Saul folded his arms, forcing confidence into a posture that did not entirely suit him. “Then we strike faster. They are in our city now, and once they are cornered, they will break.” His words were bold, though his eyes betrayed the strain of events moving beyond his grasp.

From beside the chamber windows, Thalassia Valerie remained perfectly still, her gaze fixed somewhere beyond the palace walls, as though she could see the threads of battle weaving through the streets below. “One of them has reached the western communications post,” she said quietly. “Small. Fast. Very dangerous.

General Dalia grinned, resting a hand upon the hilt of his weapon. “Good. Saves me the trouble of searching. Give the order, and I will personally remove them.

Lucas regarded him for a moment before giving a slight nod. “Go. But do not underestimate them. Anyone bold enough to breach our walls and strike our lines was never coming here to die quietly.

Saul stepped forward immediately. “I will accompany him.

No,” Lucas replied, his voice firm enough to end the thought before it began. “You will remain here and command. A king does not chase shadows through his own streets.

Saul bit back his protest, while Valerie finally turned from the window, her expression unreadable. “They are not shadows,” she said softly. “They are knives.

Beyond the palace, those knives were already cutting deep. In the western district, a blur no taller than a child crossed rooftops with impossible speed before vaulting over the communications post's iron fence, blade drawn and voice bright with mischief as battle erupted anew. Elsewhere, Sophie and her small detachment advanced through deserted streets with measured caution, each alley and rooftop watched for signs of an ambush as they moved towards the hidden base of their infiltrators. Ilusia was no longer waiting for war. It was already in the middle of it.

About 8 years ago a teenaged boy and his family found themselves homeless after the World Government destroyed his village. The only reason they did this was because it was on the side of a mountain with a very good view and a Celestial Dragon wanted to build a holiday home there. The survivors rebuilt but it made them decide to join the Revolutionary Army, helping them to drive the people constructing where their old home used to be off the island. The boy, who was called Ric, quickly grew up and became a valued member of the organisation; although mostly did fairly mundane jobs as he wasn't that strong or that good at using a gun.

Ric ducks behind another crate, having spent the last few minutes going from cover to cover to avoid being shot. After the higher-ranks had defeated the defenders of the communication post and then went to complete other objectives, Ric stayed behind to defend it. He was expecting a pretty easy job as there was much more important targets and the enemies should all be busy elsewhere anyway. Instead he had suddenly been attacked about 2 hours after he had been left alone, being caught very off-guard as he had been relaxing on a chair listening to a Den-Den-Mushi Radio. The first shots had broken the few remaining windows and nearly hit him, forcing him to dive under a desk and hope they didn't have any explosives.

He then took his attackers off-guard by firing a few shots of his own while they reloaded and thought no one was inside, or had already been killed if there was. Managing to hit and kill a few of them, Ric quickly tried to escape from the back entrance as they were all at the front but some soldiers came around the side to stop him from doing exactly that. Unable to get in anymore attacks of his own, the young Revolutionary started going from cover to cover with only a few brief pauses when the enemies lost sight of him for more than a few moments. Taking as small as peek as he could, Ric sees noone is close to him and takes the time to check his ammo. Cursing himself for not bringing more, he wonders if this was it for him as there was no way he could take on about 8 trained soldiers with 2 magazines as he would have to hit most of his shots to kill them all and couldn't really afford to miss.

While sitting with his back to the crate, he might have seen a shape jump down from a building to his left but he wasn't in any position to do so. Having given up on reinforcements after his personal Den-Den-Mushi had refused to connect to anyone, most likely due to a jamming signal of some kind, and the chances being low anyone would come back to the post, he was very shocked to hear a female voice coming from behind him
"Anyone mind if I join in?" Not recognizing the voice and wondering why she sounded so casual, Ric slowly sticks his head around the side of the crate.

A few metres from the small communication post building was four soldiers wearing the Illusia uniform with drawn longswords and guns on their hips, another three was spread out around the area and Ric couldn't see the 8th but knew there was one more uninjured. His attention wasn't on them however, it was on the same thing that all the soldiers were looking at. Standing just inside the metal fence, although nowhere near the entrance gate, was a tiny girl with blonde hair. So small she could have stood on the palm of someone's hand, most people would probably not have even seen her if it wasn't for the weapon she was holding. Larger than her entire body, the sword was around the same size as a short-sword for an average sized human. And yet despite her size and nothing to do with the somewhat unique-looking sword, Ric and all the soldiers felt she was vastly bigger than them; as if she could crush them with a finger. It is at this point that he realizes that this is Jade Belle, a quite famous member of the Army and a Warrant Officer with her own ship that was coming to help them with Illusia.

Obviously a lot braver than the others, one of the soldiers snaps out of whatever they are all under and launches forwards to attack the small girl. Before Ric can even blink let alone even think about moving to maybe try and help her somehow, the man is suddenly on the floor. Now standing on his chest was Jade, despite none of them seeing her move or doing something to make him fall to the ground.
"I don't really want to hurt any of you, as you are just doing your jobs" The small group of soldiers look at the girl who was a fraction of their size in confusion due to her words and how she had done something that they couldn't even see.

The man she was standing on tries to get up, thinking he can easily make her fall off by sitting up or just pushing/grabbing her if that doesn't work. As soon as he starts to move, pressure suddenly pushes downwards and it now feels like he has a massive amount of weight on his chest rather than this small girl that couldn't weigh that much even with the sword. After a few moments, Jade stops pushing downwards slightly and steps off the soldier as gently as she can. The man ends up a bit winded but is otherwise okay and his allies take the opportunity to attack her now she wasn't standing on their comrade.

One time I want that line to work She is unconcerned with the five people coming at her with swords and instead just talks to the Spirit that was in her weapon. To her it was as if they were moving so slowly she could see every step they take and every movement of their sword so she had no reason to fear them.

A chuckle echoes in her mind and a floating boy wearing a hoodie appears in the white space that represents the area the two of them talking.
Not many people will choose to back down these days so you will be waiting a while for a line that to actually work Nikko could see everything she could see and so ends up watching the soldiers as well. Jade let's them get a bit closer and then moves. While gentle, she knew leaving them conscious was a bad idea and she had given them a warning so just hits them in the back of the neck with her small hand.

For the soldiers it was like they running at her and bringing their sword down to slash her and then suddenly everything went dark. Not even the final one was able to see his comrades get hit and fall to the ground, they were all knocked out so quickly it was as if it was happening simultaneously. Ric saw them all attacking her one moment and the next moment they were all falling to the floor unconscious. Even the man she knocked over earlier was now out cold, being hit by her somewhere inbetween the others.

Seeing the coast was clear, Ric gingerly stands up and makes his way over to Jade. He was a bit nervous as he had never met her before and only had the wild stories to go off before this. Now having seen her in action and thinking those stories were actually tame, he didn't know what to say to the small girl that was obviously very powerful and didn't want to say the wrong thing just in case she was very serious and took offence; her earlier words might have just been to distract the enemies or quickly get their attention off him. Then she opens her mouth.

Post 4 - @Ziosa

Within the palace of Ilusia, the war table had begun to change faster than the officers could update it, reports arriving one after another as communication posts fell silent and patrols stopped responding. Thalassa Lucas sat watching the growing disorder with the same unreadable calm, cigar smoke drifting through the dim chamber as his eyes settled upon the western district markings. “They are dismantling us methodically” he murmured. “Not enough to cause panic yet. Just enough to cripple response.

Nearby, Thalassa Saul clenched his jaw, frustration building beneath his forced confidence as another messenger hurried from the room after delivering news of lost contact with the western communications post. “Then we retake it immediately” Saul snapped. “They are still only infiltrators. Once we corner them, this ends.

From beside the tall palace windows, Thalassia Valerie quietly lowered her gaze towards the city below, her expression distant yet focused, as if she could already feel the movements occurring streets away. “No” she said softly. “One of their strongest has reached that post.

General General Dalia gave a low grin at that, resting his hand against the hilt at his side. “Good. Saves us time hunting them down.” His eyes sharpened with anticipation. “Give me a unit and I will crush whoever they sent.

Lucas exhaled slowly before replying, “Do not rush towards underestimation, Dalia. Strength is meaningless if you fail to understand what stands before you.

Far from the palace, the western communications post had already fallen silent again. Soldiers lay unconscious across the fenced compound, their weapons scattered beside them as dust slowly settled through the air. Standing amongst them was the tiny figure of Jade Belle, sword in hand and entirely unbothered by the brief violence that had just unfolded. Despite her size, the pressure surrounding her lingered heavily within the ruined post, the kind of presence that made even trained soldiers hesitate before they fully understood why.

Elsewhere in the city, the Revolutionary Army continued moving through Ilusia’s streets and rooftops with growing momentum while, high above them all, the palace watched the kingdom steadily slip further into war.

Everyone in the Revolutionary Army knew about Jade Belle in some capacity. Non-human members were uncommon and generally were Fishmen or Minks but other species were at least heard of, Dwarves weren't even a rumour until she joined. Until she started being trusted and got to a high rank, most people didn't think she actually existed. A Marine that was of a race nobody really knew about and betrayed them to join the Army might have been believable, but when she was said to be less than a foot tall and able to lift giants people just thought she was one of those stories that someone made up to help with morale or to pass the time. When Revolutionaries met her for during the early years in the organisation they were very surprised she was real and that her strength was not actually an exaggeration.

By the present day Jade is almost as well known as the Executives and Dragon himself, although only within the organisation. Basically everyone in the Army has heard of her and many had seen her in action. Yet her personality wasn't well known, some rumours suggested she was a kindhearted part-pacifist, preferring things like words over combat and others made her seem maniacal and ruthless. This was the main reason Ric was wary of her, he didn't know if she was serious and would reprimand him for nearly losing the communication post or be kind and understanding.

The Warrant Officer takes another quick look at the Ilusia soldiers and then turns to the man standing nervously near her
"Hey, you with Koala and Hack?" Caught slightly off-guard by the question as he wasn't expecting it, Ric quickly nods "Great, we aren't that late then. Getting delayed by a pirate and bringing them back to life because of the bird could have been problem if we didn't arrive in time..."

Ric wasn't sure he heard the last part right as it didn't make much sense but he wasn't going to ask someone like her for clarification "Um thanks for the help, you definitely saved my life". He was trying not to think about what would have happened if she didn't show up but he needed to thank her at least once. Quickly moving on, he comes up with a way to ask her why she came here while remaining professional "Are you here to setup a way communicate? Den-Den-Mushi's have been blocked since we stopped operating covertly"

Jade let's out a quick and confident laugh "I forgot where most of the targets was so I just went to the one I remembered. Do you know where the bulk of your groups forces are? My second in command can handle the other stuff so I am free to help them. It's fine if you don't, I can just wander around until I find something important" Her words seem to go against her high rank, no other Warrant Officer would forget where they are targeting, let alone casually admit to it.

Left a bit speechless, Ric starts to answer her question after a few moments
"Well um I think they-". The girl infront of him suddenly goes from having a slightly goofy expression to the somewhat serious one she had when she first arrived. Seeing her change her entire demeanor in less than a second, Ric stops talking and watches as she looks to one side of the outpost. She disappears and a yelp is heard, the final few soldiers that were still nearby being swiftly defeated and added to the unconscious group around the small building. The young man had forgotten there was more than just the 5 soldiers Jade had defeated, the others seemingly staying away after they seen their comrades be beaten so easily but the Dwarf had seen them when they got too close.

Jade walks back to Ric, her expression back to the more cheerful one
"Sorry about that, what were you saying?" She seemed to just consider defeating another two soldiers in a few seconds as a minor interruption. Now fully convinced she was stronger than even Koala and Hack, Ric tells Jade where he thinks they and the rest of the forces probably were. With a quick goodbye, the small girl runs off and the now lone Revolutionary wonders how to best tie up and secure the unconscious people infront of him.

Jade was now heading to a much more defended area, the Royal Barracks.
