Impel Down @Ichimonji
Orphan had won the siege on Impel Down. A gamble or rather a bluff was played by the old Warden. To prevent Impel Down from being faded into nothingness, he'd give the members of Orphan free passage out of their building and into the free world once more. He had communicated this to the guards within ID, but also to the marines outside. Faces of shock and bewilderment were crafted upon all those that were left standing. How? Why? The coward! Many of them thought and voiced out loud. But none of them. No one had seen what both Takamura and Magellan had seen and fought against.
This was no mere pirate empress. This was the grim reaper incarnate. The avatar of Horus, a being that lived and thrived with revenge. Like blood that flowed through every living being, revenge and anger ran through Spada. Her main source that kept her alive, that allowed her to cheat death and move over to another realm. No one was safe for her wrath. Not even her own crewmembers.
The elevator would rise and eventually stop at the point where Spada began this journey under the guise of T-Bone. She'd pass the sanitation area, but from the opposite end. The hallways were abandoned, perhaps upon cue from Takamura or due to them sheltering until the demon had passed. A short walk forward and with a mere push the gates to freedom would open up, pulling in a soft and warm sea breeze. It'd be a feeling most of Orphan had nearly forgotten. Clear oxygen would fill their lungs in a way that'd relativize them and energize them for the next step in their stories.
Spada with her unyielding aura would move forward through the pier that was littered with marine ships. Only here would she fully realize what a deal she had made. The pursuit of these ships and the inevitable naval battle they'd have to take after all that. Who knows how it all would've ended. How different would this moment have been if she had taken another choice. If Uvogin hadn't relaxed her blood lusting nature. The many members of the navy looked upon this procession, which began to turn more and more into a parade. Each one of their members drawn and hewn into history. After today, their infamy would reach a level unprecedented. The rise of the Shadow Bringer. A nickname that'd grow and spread within the navy. For today, she had cast a dark shadow upon the prestigious Impel Down.
However, during this entire story, Spada may or may not be aware of a single fact. Uvogin had not once, but twice regressed her to an actual human being. The desire to see her crewmate of old had begun to crumble the barrier between her self from the First and from the Source. Only time would tell if she'd realize this in time or if Uvogin's soul would darken alongside her.
The raid on Impel Down had ended and The Spada Pirates were the clear victor in this battle. Never has ID taken this many casualties, which was a more gravely offence compared to the amount of inmates that were busted out. Sure, the level of them meant a lot of terror would be put back into the sea. But the chain of command within ID was the biggest blow ever. Only Hannyabal as a senior officer was left standing, along with Seldeath. It'd take months for them to rebuilt upon this loss. It was a lot worse than a regular break out.
Finally, at long last, Orphan would stand next to the ship Zalera had hijacked for them. Having fought tooth and nail for him to achieve it. But this was not the end. Only time would tell where the future would take these members of Orphan. They had been given a second chance by luck, and by fate they'd hold on to it with their dying breath. That much was certain.
The rumbling within Impel Down would finally cease, but only here. It's roar and terror moving on to the world. Calling and warning the people of the land and even the heavens.

"Death is coming."
