"Yes, Ma'am." One of the guards shouted but with a hint of confusion at the Head jailer’s statement.

Something was off. These men and women worked with Domino, day and night and she wasn't acting like herself. For now, they would not act upon it, writing it off as her having an off day. But this self-deception would not last long. Spada was not a trained actor, and her own desires would slowly but surely cast cracks upon her vizard.

Prometheus, the inmate, would look upon the reinforcement's arrival. His eyes observed the woman with detail, frowning at the strange aura that surrounded her. A foul wickedness swept into the area when she approached, the way she spoke but only increased this feeling for the halfling. The zoan monster in the meantime remained stationary. It obeyed the chain of command without a fault and without relaxing its guard.

Prometheus would whirl a portion of the chains around his forearms. This would clad them with a thick iron and create a makeshift weapon to punch harder. The remainder of the chain would dangle a few feet behind him on the ground, with his hands gripping the tail end of it tightly. He was not used to this form of combat, but it'd allow him long- and short-range attacks.

"You feel off today, Head-jailer. A foulness that even Maggelan doesn't possess surrounds you. " The halfling replied, cautious as he was unsure who he was speaking to.
"The name is Prometheus. God amongst men, outcast amongst Gods. " The man once again spoke, stoically and with a worrying amount of restraint.
"But the bigger question should be, who are you? Stranger. It is peculiar for the Head-Jailer to forget the inmate she herself placed on this floor only a few weeks ago."

Prometheus would add, sowing more deceit to crack the proverbial mask. Spada could feel it, the tension in the guards around her was rising. Doubt had been planted by the words of this inmate. They themselves had found it equally strange but did not wish to speak them out loud.

The halfling would take this opportunity without hesitation as his hands would start to flare up, coating the chains in his hands bright red. The heat contained within this metal was unbearable for a normal human and yet he wielded it with comfort.

"Let these chains of Olympus drag you down with me!" Prometheus shouted.

From this shout quickly followed the inmates' plan of attack without hesitation. He'd rotate around his own axis bringing the chains with him as he let them lose around them. The ends of these chains would whip towards anything that stood near with bone-breaking strength and a searing side effect with the heat that was let loose. But this was only the wind-up motion for the actual attack that came afterwards, using the built-up momentum in a slam like move towards both the zoan monster and Spada herself.

"Tempest!"

Roger, but I'll allow you to take control of the guard npcs and the jailerbeast. Feels weird to react to my own attacks and gives you some manner of 'control' It'd make combat a bit weird if I'm controlling everything, enemies and allies. Makes more sense for you to incorporate them in your moves. It all depends on whether Spada is going to use them tho but we'll see :p

Guards are below Bluegori in this instance fyi. So really fodder to be honest in this instance.

Level 1

The plan was going off the rails. Spada left falling victim to her own pride and arrogance leaving the Gorgon in a situation that was way out of her field of expertise. She'd comply with Anna and give her the very basics of the story. With a hum and a nod, Anna would continue typing away diligently, listening and working at once. Multitasking away and showing her own mastery of her administrational skills. "I figured she'd commandeer a cursed ship," Anna said, giving a little comment to Medusa's story. Sadly the young woman would not hear the end of this fabricated lie. For as the Gorgon paced she'd also pounce at the innocent young lady. Like a viper she'd strike quickly and without hesitation. The tail was far too strong for this frail little body and with a thud, she'd crash into her desk.

Sadly for the Gorgon how tactfully she wanted to make this display was anything but subtle. In part, due to their earlier lash against T-Bone, this entrance hall was busier than ever. Combined that with the issues on both levels 3 and 5 and you've got a packed entrance hall on your hands. The guard who they had passed from the surveillance room noticed how the office worker collapsed with the Lieutenant behind her. It'd take a fool not to suspect the marine then and there. " Hey, you!" - The man shouted as he ran over, setting in motion a cascading effect of noise and grabbing the interest of pretty much everyone present.

But much like Anna this guard was ill-equipped to handle the threat level the Gorgon in reality was. With the same pounce, the man found himself pierced through the chest. In turn, the wound would poison and in time potentially end his life. It was all over for the Lieutenant now or at least the masquerading part was. Screams, shouts and roars would fill this entrance room. Office workers would move with screams over to the elevator in the hopes of finding safety. While the dozen or so guardsmen roared towards the scene, taking up arms as they aimed their rifles towards the Lieutenant and protecting those who were trying to flee to the upper floor. Standing in rows of 4 with 3 guards they'd hold the line while trying to connect to HQ. However, it'd quickly become apparent that the lines were severed.

"Lieutenant what's the meaning of this??" One of them screamed, trying to see reason in this situation.

The first mask had been cracked and carnage took the room. Medusa had to clear the entire room if she wished to preserve this narrative she and Spada had conjured. But would she be able to do so in time? She had but a few moments at her disposal. These guards also had direct line communication much like Spada's new body was equipped with. Wrist den den mushi's.

Cast out by gods. The woman curled a satisfied wry smile. The inmate hesitated, questioning the veracity of that one who was in front of him. The Bluegori seemed to react, and La Spada noted it. Thankfully, the jailer beast was unaffected by reason, likely too dumb to figure it out.

Domino chuckled in a retort.

[Domino] “Deceit is the language of the wicked. And you are wicked indeed. Let’s see if you are as wicked as they say!!!”
Those words had a double intent. One was to put the Bluegoris at ease; the man was lying. A prisoner had infamy for deceit. The second was to assure Prometheus who he was, who La Spada felt him to be. Yet, she needed him to prove himself. How well he’d do, would depend on whom she attaches her horse to; the jailer beast or Prometheus.

The first wind-up was easy to dodge. La Spada was quick to jump back; his movements were obvious. This allowed the Jailer beast to deal with the attack. The jailer beast swung his club, twisting his wrist to have it twist; the opposite spin as the incoming attack. The chains would meet the club, wrapping around it. With a grunt, using its weight to win the tug of war, the beast pulled Promethus to sweep him off his feet.

With that same movement, the jailer beast punched with his open hand. An airblast followed, thick enough to cover Prometheus’ whole body. If he dodged, the jailer beast would follow with another one, keeping steadfast his club with the chain attached. Meanwhile, Domino, using the jailer beast to cover her, began tapping her keys in her belt, creating music infused with soul.

The woman’s body fell limp. Medusa was brawns, not brains. Once beauty, that was taken by Athena, now only brawn. A second guard came up to her, noticing the dead body. Soon, guards came. Standing in the hall, Medusa stood against a row of guards.

One asked what everyone wanted to ask. Had they been betrayed?

[Medusa] “WAIT! IT’S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!”

Medusa said with a look or worry in her face. Her last farce. Medusa aimed to buy herself just a few seconds. Her tail had coiled around the feet of the girl’s body, making a shapeshift weapon. The body was spun above her head, infused with Haki and strength master. What came next was a shockwave, one that would cover the whole hall.

[Medusa] “Warcry!!”

Medusa’s strength was such that the shockwave would be able to either dispatch or push the guards against the walls. If successful, she would slither by them, attempting to use her claws to end them before they could do more.

There was no more farce. Now it was a matter of time. A matter of how long she could get away with being free. Medusa searched all the bodies for keys to the cells, grabbing also a ID hat to wear. She would also steal one wrist den den mushi, to stay in the know of the communications. With little hesitation, Medusa set her path to the elevator and Level 1.

Prometheus channelled his chains around him to wind up before latching them down, combining his strength and gravity with one swing. The attack clashed with the Jailer Beast's club, wrapping around it and almost nullifying his attack. The man had lost the tug of war and got pulled backwards by the monster cow, hurling towards a powerful counter. The man's knee would turn pitch dark as from within flames would emerg, igniting the spot on his knee. " Rho Aias!" The halfling shouted as he brought forth his knee allowing him to clash with the air palm.

Jailer Beast: 6. City Block
Prometheus: 5. Large Building Level + B(2) + 2 Haki = 9. Mountain Level
= 3 DPS Remaining

Rho Aias - B Rank
A high knee strike aimed at an opponent's abdomen. If struck, the high impact and convergence of flames release a strong physical wall of flames around the opponent. This wall can be used to engulf the opponent in flames but also to rise up a shield for defence.

Prometheus's Muay Thai like knee strike clashed against the physical air palm attack. The result of contact between these two released a flame flower pattern around Prometheus, bringing up some sort of flame shield while attacking at the same time. The result of these two attacks was that the halfling's power combined with its defensive properties would eventually overwhelm the air palm. Breaking through, Prometheus's knee strike would continue on towards the Beast itself. Fueled by momentum he had received and leftover power from his earlier attack the man hoped to finally unleash a strong enough strike to wound the creature. Occasionally the man's eyes would flash red, indicating his ability to use a mantra. In the meantime, Spada under the mask of Domino schemed behind the large bulk of this jailer beast. The regular guards and not bluegori would murmur against one another as they had troubles following the action.

"What's the chief doin?" One of them said, nearly a whisper.
"Dunno, but she's acting strangely.." The next one replied.

Level 1

"How would this look like anything else but betrayal lieutenant?!"

One of the guards said, commencing an array of clicks as weapons were loaded and safeties were off. When Medusa would elevate the girl she had just defeated above her head was the moment the guards took fire. But at the very same moment, their first salvo had left their guns, Medusa would slam the girl to the ground. A shockwave would fill the area, blasting any object and person away from Medusa with an impact so great they'd be flung towards the walls, breaking several bones in their bodies. If not flat out knock them out cold. Such was the degree of strength the Gorgon wielded. Medusa would slither by these guards, dispatching them as she passed the few that were still alive and well.

The pandemonium that took place within the elevator and towards it was terrifying to behold. Several people laid unconscious before the closed doors, trampled and or pushed away. Looking in the face of death took control over their normal empathetic nature. The elevator's doors were closed and the main platform had just moved upwards, carrying the remaining workers to a safer haven. It wouldn't take long now before Medusa's mask was fully cracked. It was time to quickly move to another identity. With an ID hat on, a wrist communicator and a few keys she'd move onward. Each key she found only had the imprint of a number two on them. Meaning she'd only be able to open up doors and or cells on these floors. With the elevator closed the Gorgon had but only one way down towards the crimson hell, the set of tall downward stairs. Or she could simply jump down whatever she prefered.

Once the crimson hell was reached she'd hear the wailing and or aching sounds of the inmates in this version of hell. Being chased by spiders and all kinds of wild animals would force them to step onto the sharp leaves of these crimson trees. With their slicing capabilities, the inmates on this level were not equipped to handle them and many sought refuge in level two as they found a quicker death than on level one. Compared to Medusa these inmates were fools and weaklings, unable to bear the pain of sharp leaves.

The Gorgon would find no cells on this floor to open and to increase chaos within Impel Down. What she could hear however was a faint humming. Only increasing in sound as she'd move towards the large hole in the middle of level one. The humming would become louder if she'd move towards it, a clanking metal on metal together with a song would accompany it. Interchanging each other like a weird off-beat melody.

"Beasts all over the shop. " A man said humming
"Do you mind the drop?" A clang on metal could be heard.
"Do not lose yer blud." He continued with a hum.

Once in view, Medusa would see it. A
man in inmate garments, picking away at the crimson petals with a pickaxe. White cloth over his eyes, oblivious to what was around him with a tattoo on his hand.

The light emanating from the clash from Promethus and the zoan’s attack lit up Domino’s face. It was a face of unnerving maniacal pleasure. The speak of mantra, his strength, and most importantly the hate she felt inside him made her eyes cburn. The music kept swelling, even more pronounced.

[Jailer Beast] “WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”
The jailer beast pushed off its hind legs, propelling himself at high-speeds towards Prometheus. The remaining knee attack hit him, dissolving in his Awakened Zoan body. The jailer beast blitzed him, as would a defense line to a quarterback, to catch him by surprise. Mace above his head, the beast would bring it down with weight, intent, and skill to make it blue. It sought the man’s head.

If the attack missed, the attack was so powerful, it would create a crater, rising debris. The beast would use this to push off again, seeking the man relentlessly; a mindless beast.

Domino’s music would swell the area. It was another Lullaby. The woman sought to have the guards fall asleep. The jailer beast and Promethus would not fall asleep. With no hesitation, Domino used soul power to shoot small bullets of soul ice from her fingertips, aiming to kill the guards by shooting their exposed necks,

[Domino] “Oops. My finger slipped. Kuahahahaha!!”

Promethus could definitely tell now. This was not Domino. Her laughter was one of malice. The aura was rising, as damp as the deepest dark cave.

Medusa slithered past the bodies. It was not long now before they would be found. The question was, who was the culprit? A prisoner? La Spada was cloaked, and Medusa tried as well. Admittedly, she looked out of place - there were not too many Gorgons anywhere.

Medusa took the stairs, using her quickness to make her way to Level 1. She found no cells, only those who ran in fear by the blades of grass. Medusa didn’t know anything of the levels, other that they were descending, and that La Spada was in level 6. Medusa used haki on her tail as she slithered past the grass, protecting herself as she came to the hole in the forest.

A humming caught her attention.

[Medusa] “T’is supposed to be Hell. Who would hum? A guard? I must be cautious.”

Medusa spoke to herself. Athena had taken her beauty; Medusa had self-esteem issues. She followed Spada blindly, for with her, she felt she could take down Olympus itself - and she would. Medusa jumped down near the sound, crashing with a large thump. She bounced up and appeared in front of the man, claws front.

Medusa’s claws stopped just inches front the man’s face. The woman looked at this man’s clothing. Medusa retracted her claws, sizing him up.

[Medusa] “Not a guard, eh? ”

Prometheus' flaming knee strike would continue onward, like a bullet from a rifle the man flew. But with a flash of his eyes, the halfling knew what was coming towards him. It wasn’t a quick flash like with an advanced mantra but it gave him enough sense to make him aware of what came next. The Jailerbeast dashed forward. Blitzing past the inmate aiming for a powerful overhead strike. The knee blast from Prometheus tanked as if it were a mere clap with a wooden stick. The halfling with all that was going on, could do no more than simply defend himself to the best of his abilities. Bringing his arms up in a cross-like position he’d imbue them dark with haki, defensive abilities brought up to their maximum.

81-100: 5. Town Level + 2 = 120: 7. Mountain Level vs 8. City Level

DPR 1 below dura: somewhat effective

The club slammed Prometheus down with incredible force, cracking the sand below and blasting a storm of sand everywhere. The dust would settle and clear the situation quickly, arms were bruised and perhaps shown a few cracks here and there. But miraculously this inmate was rather fine after having received such an incredible blow. Prometheus now stood on the ground and unleashed an incredible aura from his person, bloodlust, rage, pain. All kinds of emotions would swirl within this man’s soul. Spada, a sensitive person to the sound of one's soul, would most likely go drunk at this moment.

Prometheus would push the club upwards slightly, allowing him a moment of free movement. The man would take a step in, closing the distance between him and the zoan even further. The step in was quick and seemed as if several versions of Prometheus trailed him, blurring and making it hard to predict when the actual strike came. “ Fata Morgana” He’d whisper as he now stood within striking range. “Tartarus’ Torment!” He’d shout as he now delivered an incredible potent right punch. Mid strike the punch would accelerate as half his body ignited with a flame most potent and blazing hot.
5. Large Building Level + A(3) + 1 Haki = 9. Mountain Level

The fist would dig deep into the zoan’s abdomen, singing the skin which would leave a permanent fist mark upon the monster. To a normal opponent, the wound would torment them until death took them. No matter what kind of healing was performed this wound would ache for eternity. Just like how Prometheus skin ached for his entire life. The power and flawless technique would most likely send the monster flying a few feet backwards as he, hopefully, had finally delivered a significant blow to the creature. While it flew, Prometheus laughed. “Hehe..Firehehehehe! Burn it...Burn more of it you foul beast.

Burn it...BURN IT ALLL

BURN MY DREAD!!!

Meanwhile, Spada was unleashing a lullaby unheard by the two combatants as the guards fell asleep and quickly afterwards to their deaths. Their power was unable to bear the strength of her soul. Prometheus, drunk on his own desire, would be oblivious to the changes within Domino. The man sought death and desired eternal oblivion. He secretly wished that this monster would bring it to him.

At the same time, Domino her wristwatch would beep out an alarm. Whether Spada would notice it was unknown.

techniques/

Fata Morgana

A stepping technique where the user dashes forward or takes a quick step in. But the incredible heat surrounding the user creates an optical illusion where several versions are following behind the man. This in turn, makes it hard for the opponent to detect and or react to the attack fully. In reality it does not improve the user’s speed but makes it harder for the opponent to react.

Tartarus’ Torment

A right strike that gets accelerated mid swing due to the fire unleashing from the user’s side. Fueling with even more momentum and fire damage the user can imprint a permanent mark upon their opponent. Forcing them to bear a part of his own pain for the remainder of their lives.

Level 1

The blind man would stop smashing his pickaxe against the red leaves, following the direction of the sound. Not necessarily looking at Medusa but perhaps looking through her. It was an odd sensation but this man clearly had heightened senses. Even when she bore her claws at him he did not waver nor move away from her. His actual reaction would perhaps force Medusa to back off for it was strange to say the least.

*sniff* *sniff* “......Ahh, the sweet stench of blood. Just... just marvellous!” The man would say, being able to smell the blood that still lingered on her person however faint it was. This blind fellow was a peculiar one and when she observed him more fully she’d notice a brown bag next to him. It was a sizable bag and perhaps nearly filled with these red leaves, was he gathering them for something?

Not a guard...you smell..different? An odd smell indeed.” He’d say being able to sense that she wasn’t a guard despite her change in attire. The man would shrug and start his work again, picking away at the crimson flowered trees. He continued to talk after he had swung once with his axe. “The Beasts are all over the shop. Be careful...Hunter...For the drop.” The man would say as he jerked his head to the side a few times, motioning towards the massive hole that led into level 2.

This man was a very odd fellow; he wore inmate garments but did not act like one. His body was well kept and well-fed. He was even allowed to run around freely here for no chains were visible on his person. His appearance and circumstances were too much of an anomaly for it to be a mere coincidence. Was he perhaps someone of importance? Before she could do anything her wrist communicator would rapidly beep out an alarm. The sound in proportion to the device itself would beep a set of codes and the message. “Alarm! Alarm! Lieutenant Medusa has been compromised! Attack on sight, forward this message” The automated voice said as it afterwards grew silent. A direct message was sent towards the personal communicators each guard wore. Cascading the message across impel down instead of one centre informing the entire building at once. A flaw with this system is that it is much much slower. Each person that does not forward the message is a block in the chain. Eventually, all of Impel Down would be informed of what had happened but their sabotage had given them a couple of hours where not everyone was notified.

The blind fellow during this moment did not stop slamming his pickaxe but his brown bag would ruffle a bit, sagging down and revealing a portion of its contents. It was filled to the brim with these leaves but Medusa would spot a strange-looking key within them. Also crimson red, nearly camouflaging the object within these leaves.

What was an inmate’s need for a red crimson key? And would Medusa attempt to reach for it with this strange man in between her and the key?

The jailer beast and Promethus clashed. The force was such that the ground shook. Domino looked intensely, expecting to see Promethus flattened. Much to her surprise, she found the opposite. The jailer Beast was much to big to counter once he got inside his arm range. His stomach churned, burned, and exploded as the beast’s body flew backwards.

The jailer beast‘s body crashed into the nearby building. The impact was so great, that the building would collapse, burying the jailer beast in a fiery grave. The beast had gone unconscious. It’s aura, however, suggested it was not gone. Regeneration began to implicate. It would take time, but the jailer beast would find his way back up. When? That would be the question.

Promethus stood victorious, now standing in front of Domino and corpses of guards.

[Promethus] “BURN MY DREAD!!!!”
Domino did not see or hear the alarm in her wrist. The Grim was not a strategist or brilliant advisor - she was evil incarnate. At that moment, The Grim only saw one thing: the evil in Prometheus. The aura he exuded entranced her to the point she salivated. Promethus’ aura was so awakened, it was up for grabs. And grabbed it was.

A light green emanated from Domino’s chest in the shape of a hand, long fingers and crooked nails of a Devil. The hand grabbed the aura and soul that surrounded Prometheus, pulling it with intent. A tug-of-war. That connection, the two souls and auras, allowed a small glimpse to their own. For La Spadas’, it was an aura of wicked unlike he’s seen before. There was no mistake anymore, this was no Domino - it was a Devil.

An image was blatant, Hades, the brother of Zeus, Prometheus tormentor, sat in a regal fiery throne. La Spada stood in front of him, spitting at the God before walking towards fire. Spada’s resurrection.

Medusa’s claws stopped an inch from the man’s face, now revealed to be blind. The man was unusually precarious in hell, literally. Picking at leaves
of red and collecting them. The man marveled at the stench of blood, mentioning Level two and the beasts. One thing was clear: the man was well informed.

Before Medusa moved on, her wrist den den mushi blared. The Gorgon chuckled - took them long enough. By her reaction, the blind man could clearly see she was this “Medusa”. Trailing the alarm, Medusa turned to the man and spoke.

[Medusa] “This be a jailbreak. Inmate, state your name. Spada’s requires soldiers. We’ll free you from this Hell. ”

Medusa now saw the key. She was tasked before they begin to cause a riot with inmates, and here stood a powerful one with sickening calm. Was the key what she needed to open the cells? A normal person would ask for it, but Medus was a Spada, she simply just reached for it.

Prometheus would clench his fist. The beast that he had hoped could bring his salvation had already been defeated. His hands would shake in visible anger as no matter what he did, salvation would not be brought to him. Sadly his part to play in this world was far from over. And perhaps its true torment would only start now.

The halfling would scream out in rage as his aura and emotions had reached their boiling point. It'd rage without control in the metaphysical realm. A realm Spada could see and interact with without any issues. In fact, she could grasp and manipulate it according to her own whims and desires. And her desire right now was to claim Prometheus for her own. Prometheus quickly felt that something was wrong and battled this strong sensation to the best of his abilities. His vision would shift to that of the metaphysical for his connection to La Spada allowed him this feat momentarily. A raging inferno was all around Prometheus as he was engulfed by a burning desire and rage which far eclipsed that of his own. Prometheus desired salvation by searching for his death. But La Spada desired something beyond it. Pandemonium and for the border between these plains to perhaps be deleted. It was something beyond the scorned Prometheus to comprehend. But the fact that Hades was in this vision did not ease his anxiety for what would come next.

The fear of being turned into a puppet frightened the man more than captivity beyond measure. And he fought tooth and nail to keep his place in this world. And Spada would feel it. This was perhaps one of the stronger souls or perhaps the strongest soul she had to combat thus far. Each pull away from his body would require a herculean effort and from every successful attempt, she'd see more of the past that made this man.

She'd see flashes of Zeus complimenting him, berating him, torturing him. And finally imprisoning him before changing his life forever. Now an outcast to the gods and walking the life of a halfling. He sought vengeance but in all reality peace of mind and oblivion was at the top of his list.

Spada would see the end of the tunnel in her attack on his soul. For the man was slipping unable to combat this foreign experience fully at the very first time. Before long she'd have what she looked for, but what would she do with it.

The surviving inmates around the area would look at this phenomenon with incredible interest. Unable to sway their eyes away from it.

Level 1

"A jailbreak? In Impel Down? Finally." The man said as he immediately stopped his tasks.

Medusa would reach for the key within the man's bag. Forgetting basic manners. But that was a given for Spada herself also does not ask but simply claims. Yet before she'd be able to grasp the key the bag and the man himself had vanished from their position. He was fast. Incredibly fast. But Medusa combined with her mantra and natural reflexes could determine a slight glimpse in his movement.

A stepping technique.

The Gorgon would follow this trail with her head and find that the man now stood behind her. With a couple of meters between them. The bag was tightly knotted and over his shoulder, the axe now in his left. His right hand held the lace that was around the bag. He'd extend his left index finger as he shook his hand left and right, disappointment clear in his voice. "Now now. Hasn't anyone told you it is rude to take the belongings of someone else? You can call me Willem. Spada pirates were it?" The man would say as he lowered his pickaxe so it could rest on the ground. " I've been waiting for a commotion to happen in this facility. Perhaps now is finally the time." He'd say softly thinking out loud to himself. " Very well. You want my help you can have it. But I help you, you help me. Quid pro quo you see. The hunter's dream does not work for free." The man said revealing his intention and that he wanted something in return. What else would he want beyond escaping this place? Shouts from officers and guards would grow louder and louder. A legion was quickly approaching this area. Medusa didn't have a lot of time to think this through. This man clearly belonged to an organisation but were they an enemy or ally? No clear way to know for sure.

"So what will it be? " He asked, aware of the impending army.

Evil Arrives in Impel Down! #13
@QuickZilver708

Level 3
Souls interchanged on another plane. A plane of La Spada’s creation. The decaying rotting hands of darkness stretched out and touched Prometheus soul, mixing his own with a demon, locked in a purview of images. With each tug, Promethus saw La Spada’s past, her wickedness, her desire to drink the world dry. An unnerving darkness that would opaque his soul.

With each tug, La Spada saw Prometheus’s past, his desires, his vulnerabilities, and his dread. The Grim took solace in the wickedness of the mind, and Promethus had much. Promethus’ hate fed the corrupted soul tugging his own. A even greater dread, a paralyzing notion of wickedness.

[La Spada] “Every soul has ah’ monster within; thah’ difference is in degree, not in kind. Those who lack degree, fall in front of my knees!!”
La Spada’s voice echoed in his subconscious, burrowing. Outside, they both seem paralyzed. Suddenly, Domino’s body appeared in front of the stoic Promethus, her fangs sinking in to Prometheus’s neck, an influx of soul injected. A ritual writ in blood and dread.
[La Spada] “Yah’ life is no longer yours. Your dread belongs to me now… Kuahahahaha!!”
Promethus’ soul was mighty. Might that La Spada could not consume his soul, not in the body she possessed. However, she need not. The Grim injected a tiny piece of her soul into Promethus, the darkest soul to live, one to cast a shadow on his own. Assuming, but not deciding, Promethus was bit, a mark appeared on his neck; the mark of a Grim Reaper.

A torture of the mind. A mark that fed off hate, urging to do evil. La Spada took away Promethus’s physical shackles, only to replace them with more robust shackles on his soul.

[La Spada] “Stand, Promethus “The Firebringer”; Plague - Rain of Fire. Stand and take your fill of this world!

When the dust settled, Domino stood above Promethus, cackling. A new Spada Pirate had been born.

Marca del Espíritu (literally meaning “Soul Mark”): By biting into the target’s neck, La Spada injects a tiny piece of her soul into the living being. This creates a mark of A Grim Reaper. Those injected can hear a voice in their heads, La Spada, urging them to do evil. Because a small fragment of the soul is injected, La Spada can track the individual anywhere within half an island’s range. Only NPCs half of the user’s level are affected.
Requirements: 100 Devil Fruit
Rank: S (Supplementary)

[Obviously, Promethus is not half my level, but hope it’s ok since it’s my NPC for storyline! xD]

Level 1
Medusa’s claws stopped as the bag and the man disappeared. Red light trailed the Gorgon’s eyes, turning to see the man had moved at speeds master. Who was he? Medusa was shocked a man as he existed in Level 1. What was his story. She would not dare to turn on him until she knew more.

The man offered quid pro quo. A Hunter‘s Dream. That name itched in the back of Medusa’s mind. What was it? Guards were closing in - she had little choice, she needed a guide.

[Medusa] “So shall it be. You will find my Captain, La Spada, always keeps her promises to her friends.”
Hilarious. Sarcasm that would likely escape the man, as he did not know the Grim. However, the prisoner did not seem the type to worry. Medusa turned to the mouth leading to Level 2. Unless he had a better idea, this was the next step. Medusa would follow the man, the guide. She would inquire, half her curiosity and half as a precaution of the unknown man with power matching, or higher, than her own.

[Medusa] “Medusa, the Gorgon Queen. What does this ‘Hunter’s Dream’ call you, and who are they?”

Level 3

The battle of mind and soul had been fought. Prometheus gave it his all but his revenged paled in comparison to that of Spada. The man would sink in and eventually drop to his knees. Gazing at the sand that made up the floor in this dry heat. Spada in the body of Domino would move forward marking the man and enthralling him until perhaps the end of times. A tragic tale for the man known as Prometheus but his story was far from over. Voices of compassion, love and kindness would mute in the background. Only hate would flow through this man's soul and heart which would beget evil actions. Prometheus would stand up, hate and anger ever presenting now oozed out of him. A man that was forever filled with both. At the world. At Spada. At the gods.

But the most was to himself. It was his own damn fault that this path was created. How long would it go he wondered.

The chains around his arms would unravel as his scorched side would flare up with a blazing flame. His eyes would meet the inmates only for them to cower away in fear. What they had witnessed was something not out of this world. Would anyone believe this story? Several guards would arrive and moved towards Domino and Prometheus their location. Some Blugori accompanied them. The alarm of an outbreak and the sounds of fighting earlier prompted them to investigate.

"The inmate is lose get him! Protect Domino-san!" One of the guards shouted and ordered. The blugori would acknowledge this order and dashed forward with faster speed than the guards.

Prometheus would clench his fists and exhaled as the flames around him would follow the movement of his arms, obeying his every order. Afterwards, the man would equally step forward as he brought both his hands together. The flames would mix and blast outwards in a breath of blazing hot fire. "Phlegethon!"

The breath of fire would engulf the charging Blugori as well as the guards who ran behind them. The flames were potent and would burn any in them alive. The dry heat within this area empowers them even more, giving them an aesthetic of never running out. The blugori would drop several meters before his feet. The guards in the distance would drop and roll onto the sand, woes of pain and cries for help would boom throughout level 3. But Prometheus did not care their voices muted in his head. " Follow me. I know a shortcut." Prometheus said knowing that Spada was not whole and wanted her body back. Their link earlier allowed him to know what had happened thus far.

The man would walk in front taking the lead through the fire and the flames. Would Spada allow him to take the lead? Perhaps it would be wise to do so until she had her main body at least.

Level 1 --> Level 2

"Friends. Hah. An odd choice of words. Let's go." Willem would reply to the Gorgon who accepted their partnership.

Willem would afterwards jump into the black hole in the middle that'd lead them to level two. Gravity and the jump itself would make short work of their travels into level two. Once there Medusa would notice how it resembled a labyrinth. Beasts would be heard and felt moving about every corridor. Stalking their prey. They were weak and not much of a threat against Willem and Medusa but to the men who lived here, they were a constant threat. Only now would Medusa understand Willem's earlier cryptic message. With some peace and quiet on their hands, Medusa would inquire into the man and his vocation. " They call me Willem." The man would say as he afterwards revealed his tattoo in full showing the symbol of the organization. " We're a guild of hunters. No alignment. If the pay is satisfactory we'll do any job. Even if it means stepping on the little toes of the government."

The two would walk through the corridor only to find inmates that had already succumbed to despair and fear within this place. They felt their prisons were safer than the actual hallways. Any who'd chosen to venture through it was a fool or utterly oblivious to the dangers that loomed here. "We'll be upon the conjunction in a few moments. Let us set out this partnership. No beasts will attack us anytime soon." Willem would say and Medusa if she had been paying attention. With her senses or mantra. Would notice that anytime a beast came in the vicinity Willem would change their route. It was apparent that he had been in impel down for a long time. He knew the layout of level two better than these animals who were born here. Medusa would find that if she were to spark a revolution or a revolt here in this place she'd need more than words. The defeat of one of these animals would most likely do the trick. But was it wise to convince Willem of such a fact? And did she herself have the time for such a feat? While she'd ponder. Willem would start by questioning her on the details of his task.

"So, tell me Medusa. What do you and Spada require? Escort. Assassination. Or is it perhaps Escape from Impel Down? I fear those jailer outfits or any disguise for that matter will not aid you any longer." Willem concluded.

Level 3
Reborn. Reborn in seething hate and revenge. Revenge that paved the way to earmark of the mind, to begin the torture of the mind. A man of fire was born, the Firebringer. And with a fiery might, the man stood, determined.

As Promethus stood, Domino fell to her right knee. It was apparent the soul struggle and the mark had taken a lot out of her, and this body was meager. She had to get back to her body, or take a stronger one. Domino looked exhausted, having to take a few to gain composure. When the Bluegoris appeared, Domino did not move. Thankfully, Promethus took over, dispatching of them. Yet, La Spada’s overbearing soul never wavered.

[Domino] “Kuahahaha! Yes. Level 6. Let’s bring chaos! Let’s show this hellhole the true definition of Hell!!”
Domino got up, following Promethus. The man would find the curse mark pulled at him, a reminder of the ever-present piece of soul of La Spada inside him. Domino kept her actions to a minimum as she recovered.

———————————————————————

Level 1 ———-> Level 2
Medusa followed, vaulting towards Level 2, using her strength to catch her fall. The Gorgon Queen took a second to take her surroundings in, seeming a normal prison with beasts. Medusa had keys, but would they run into the waiting fangs of Beasts? Whatever the case, Willem was learned, knowing the layout well.

Medusa gave her name as Willem gave his. The Gorgon was hesitant to believe that was his actual name, especially with his vocation. A guild of hunters for a price. The Spada’s could use such a mercenary group. Medusa committed the symbol to memory, intent on telling La Spada.

The two stopped, and Willem asked the valid question.

[Medusa] “Mayhem. I could tell you it’s to free the level 6 prisoners, that it’s to deal a major blow to the World Government, to obtain the facilities secrets, but those are secondary reasons.”
[Medusa] “Gorohohoho! The Grim came on a whim - a Marine gave her a bad look. That is all.“
The Gorgon gave a straight honest answer. This was no work of a mastermind - only of a whim of evil. Medusa went on, telling Willem they would pay him to get her to Level 6, while creating a riot in the mission in the process. Escape from the hell they sought came last.

Medusa looked around, trying to make sense on how to proceed. She wanted to kill the beasts, but she also had to go lower. Her aim would depend on Willem’s counsel.

Level 3 ---->???

Prometheus carried on feeling the constant thug on his soul, a wicked wound. It'd fester for the remainder of his life. Prometheus had been branded and while he cursed his fate. There wasn't much else he could do about it. There was still a part for him to play and who else would allow him the path of self-destruction more than the vilest woman in the blues? Or so he surmised. The two would travel through level 3 with little to no resistance, strangely enough. One would think they had a lot more security around these levels. Had Spada her sabotage granted such results. Perhaps not on its own. But the convenient troubles at level 5 made it a perfect storm for her and Medusa. Eventually, Prometheus would make a quick turn, away from the massive hole to the left that'd lead into level 4. An odd choice seeing as their path was directly in front of them.

Especially when Spada viewed that the right would lead to a dead-end, the outer edges of level 3. Only a small path between two empty prisoner cages lead towards a sand-covered wall. There, if given the opportunity, Prometheus would start to dust off stand from one of the bricks. Muttering to himself something nearly unintelligible. "Around...Here!" He said as he pulled out a brick from the wall and took a strange red looking key from within the empty compartment. "If we want to make haste we can go through the guild's hideout. They're between levels 5 and 6. It's the quickest path but may spell the most trouble. They're....well. Odd. But they owe me a favour and that's worth more than gold in the underworld." Prometheus explained the context of this shortcut. As he moved towards Spada he'd motion before her feet. If she followed. There beneath the dust and sand, a very rough outline of a wooden hatch door could be seen. Perfectly hidden behind the many layers of sand and dust. If Prometheus hadn't pointed it out it might've escaped her gaze entirely. An optical illusion as many would call it. A choice was given to Spada. A quick but unknown path, leading towards a mysterious "Guild'. Or straight through level 4 and potentially many more guards that could disrupt her plan. Would she sacrifice chaos over the success rate of her mission? One way or another their path would lead into a dark tunnel, one larger than the other.

Level 2 ---->????

"On a whim you say? Gyaaaa ha ha ha ha! The blues are getting a lot more interesting." Willem would reply to the most ridiculous sounding statement. At least to him. Sharing a laugh between him and Medusa. " I think freeing level 6 prisoners is your most viable option. Not an easy feat by any means. But the most plausible one. You'll gain nought in terms of secrecy here. This prison lives on its own, forgotten, isolated from time and society. The only form of information you'll find here are snippets from newspapers that are thrown away." The man continued and concluded telling Medusa that moving towards level 6 should be her primary goal. Finding facility secrets in a Prison was a long shot anyway they were on a need to know basis. And a building filled with convicts surely was a leak waiting to happen if they'd send information towards Magellan and his crew. The two would continue to move through the labyrinth that was level two until eventually, they'd stand before an empty prison cell. The bars on it were gnawed on consistently and were barely hanging together, the hinges on the door were rusted and could fall at any moment. To say that there hadn't been an inmate in this cell for quite some time was an understatement. Odd for such a flaw in their maintenance. Willem would push the door open with minimal effort and turned around, the cell door now between Medusa and him. " The beasties here are fascinating, aren't they? I can feel them prowling, hunting, hiding. Oh, their bloodlust is a savoury treat. Isn't it Medusa? You can feel it too can't you? Behind me is a hidden passage that'll lead towards my comrades. From there it's just a hop, skip, and a jump to level 6." The man said but Medusa could quickly see his demeanour change. He was doing everything in his power to control this insatiable hunger. The man was insane, that much was a given. Just what does the guild put their members through to get this far one might wonder. Alas, a tale for another time. "Yet, you and I, we can hunt these beasties to our heart's content. It'd even allow you to free some convicts here. This brittle steel quivers at the sight of you. So what do you say? Shall we dance in blood?"

Willem would conclude with madness as he could barely keep it together. Nearly drooling at the thought of hunting and perhaps eating these creatures on level 2. Yet Medusa was given a choice. To cause mayhem and chaos. Or proceed with the mission and head towards level 6. Would they be able to return to this point once she agrees on his suggestion? A viable question, indeed.

Paths were diverging for the two Spada pirates. And each was given the same choice by a twist of fate. Dwell in the short bliss of chaos and despair of others right now. Or contain their desires so they might unleash their full might at a later point in this story.

A crew made up of personal desires. But now had a pressing goal, arrival at level 6. Would they still dare to reach for mayhem at this point in time?

Level 3 ———> Level 5.5
The two made their way unhindered in Level 4. Not too many barred their path. Had they all been spent? Had Medusa created a distraction? Too many questions that La Spada surely did not think of. A one-minded maniac. Promethus led them to a key, later to a path. Taking a chance on Promethus gave great dividends,

[Domino] “Take mah’ to them, Promethus. If they won’t help, I can always… reason with them. Kuhahahaha!!”
Truer words were rarer spoken. Domini took no hesitation choosing to go to the Guild. Chaos took precedent, but Domino was weakened. Her body was tired after the weight of the Yomi use. A full confrontation with Level 4 guards, and perhaps the big ballers, was not something she could risk. Nay, her recovery would bring more chaos. More mayhem if she were to take this route.

Domino followed, pondering to herself whether her “get-up” would cause problems. Yet, she could always “reason” with them. La Spada was a reasonable gal.

———————————————————————

Level 2 ————> Level 5.5
Medusa and Wilhem. A match made in madness. The two scoured Level 2, sensing the beasts’ presence and the downtrodden existence of the prisoners. Captive by not bars, but fear. Fear of monsters. Quaint, Medusa thought. It reminded her of her own crew.

Wilhem seemed as deranged, laughing at the ’whim’ comment. It was no joke - that is what happened. The guild member led them to a cell. The option presented itself to slaughter the Beasts or take a chance at Level 6.

There was a minute of pondering. Medusa looked at her claws, soaked in blood. Indeed, she had already killed dozens of guards. The Gorgon grabbed her neck. For a moment, Wilhem could see a skull mark on her neck as she moved her collar. It was not burning; La Spada’s soul must not be burning with chaotic will at the moment.

[Medusa] “Level 6. We both seek chaos. You think it being murder. Nay. Chaos has a name. The name is… La Spada, and it lives in Level 6.”
A statement from one who has experienced La Spada’s soul, who has a piece of it within her. The utmost chaos was La Spada herself, and she, her body, was held at Level 6. That was all the reason she needed. If the body is returned, Wilhem would witness true chaos.

Level 5.5

Paths diverged. An identical choice was given by both Spada and Medusa. And by fate or perhaps bond, the two had accepted the path through the guild. Like a mirror, the two would move through a dark but dimly lit tunnel. The two would not yet meet for their respective paths would lead them to a single door, looming in the distance. An odd feeling would radiate from this place, familiar but equally as strange. Known but also unknown at the same time. The split groups would finally stop at the front of their respective doors. Prometheus would knock 3 times on his and Willem would follow suit on the other. Before long a compartment would slide open, showing only darkness no one would be able to peer through and catch a quick glance of the inside. "The code?" - An unknown voice called, to both parties.

"Fear The Old Blood"
"Fear The Old Blood"

The unknown voice would remain silent, locks being turned and twisted betraying that their answers were correct. Within moments their doors would open up, lighting up the entrances. Various torches on the sides would spark to life revealing that this in-between place or level 5.5 as it was called years ago. Had been redecorated as some sort of dungeon or crypt. Both Spada and Medusa would notice a white-haired man with yellow eyes standing at the door frame. Waiting for them to pass through before they'd close down the door. Both of them wander around in Impel Down clothing. "I'd like to see the eld..." Prometheus spoke trying to ask for directions but he was quickly cut short.

"They're already expecting you. You know the way Prometheus. Down the main hall, Medusa and Willem are also on their way there. Don't try to enjoy yourself too much." The man would say addressing Prometheus. An odd way of greeting. But Prometheus did warn that they were an odd bunch.

The two groups would walk forward until forced to take a turn which eventually would take them to the main hall as the guard earlier explained. A large and vast open area where people could sit, drink, eat and simply take time off. Or that was at least it is intentions years ago. Spada/Medusa would notice workers, people dressed in Impel Down clothing, people dressed in black leather garments. Some sat down on what appeared to be makeshift workbenches. Trying to build some sort of tools from whatever scraps they could find littered within Impel Down. It'd finally explain to Medusa why Willem was gathering the crimson leaves from earlier. It was perhaps the sharpest material simply laying around in this building. From opposite ends they'd arrive at this main hall but after their eyes had received enough information. Spada and Medusa before long would notice one another. Separated once but reunited at long last. Prometheus would observe their meeting, if there was one, with curiosity. But he'd be informed later. As a member of the Spada pirates, he'd have to know Medusa one way or another. After a short or no meeting at all the groups would gather. Willem would give a wave and a chuckle to Prometheus to which the halfling could only sneer in response to the insane old man.

"How's the back kid? Being tied up for months against that rock couldn't have been pleasant Gyaaa hahaha.."
"You owe me, you blind old goat. If it wasn't for me this whole thing could've gone to shambles!" Prometheus replied in anger, fire erupting from his other half.

Prometheus a man who had issues controlling his temper was now without any restraints. Courtesy of Spada her mark. His will would overflow as fire erupted from his side. Bloodlust swept the hallway. The Hunter's Dream did not like for their kind to be threatened and they showed it in force. A dozen or so that were moving around now had taken up arms. Swords, spears, bows and even makeshift guns. Several had taken up a perimeter around the new arrivals while those with longer range weaponry stood at the exit points. Spada and Medusa would feel it. These men weren't anything like the prison guards they had felt before. These men were capable. But while not on the level of Willem they wouldn't keel down as quickly as the guards from Impel Down. That much was a given.

" Now now Prometheus....you seem more unhinged than usual. Deep breaths and think a little bit." Willem said with his arms up, trying to diffuse the situation.

Prometheus would ball a fist and let out his anger with a quick shout, his flames retreating back to within his body. Or at least that's if Spada didn't interfere with that at least. When the potential threat was out of the way and cooled down another member of the dream would arrive at the group. " One of the Elder is ready to see you now. You'll be able to discuss terms to level 6 there." If accepted by the group they'd all follow suit behind this unnamed man. From the main hall, they'd move up to what used to be a theatre stage. From there in the 'backstage' area was an open door, only darkness would greet them. The guard would move them to step inside. Prometheus and Willem would step forward without hesitation as they knew what this would lead towards. Once everyone was inside the door would close behind them and a single light would flicker to life accompanied by an old familiar den den mushi ring. Willem by that point had already taken his spot right next to the
chair that held the den den mushi that was ringing on top of it.

The snail phone was old and perhaps one of the oldest any of them had seen before. It wore a large dark hat, covering his eyes but allowing the massive white beard and moustache to be observed. Willem would pick up the phone and the snail phone finally began to speak.

"Aah. Newly arrivals how charming. Welcome to the Hunter's Dream. How can I be of service to you? Madam Spada. Medusa and finally my dear boy Prometheus. " The voice from the snailphone spoke. Softly and calculated but also rather frail. The man who spoke was old, very old that much was certain from his voice. But from that single line of dialogue, both Medusa and Spada would instantly tell.

This man had power.

Now that the Spada pirates are back together. I'll let you control Prometheus for this encounter and to allow some interaction between him and Medusa if you wish to do so. The favour if it wasn't already clear. Prometheus took the blame allowing the guild to continue its operations. If you need to know something more don't hesitate to pm me. But for now, it should suffice I feel.

Level 5.5
The two groups converged, entering their passage and entering an unknown level. Both of them committed the code word to memory: Fear the Old Blood. Domino could feel it, the voices of the many waiting them. Their “voices”, they emotions, did not seem to be of men bound. Nay, they almost felt somewhat free. Soon, they’d all come upon a large room with a well oiled machine. Whoever this guild was, they were efficient.

Medusa came upon Domino. Suddenly, she grabbed her neck, burning. Medusa took a slight bent of knee in pain as La Spada’s soul flared. Promethus would feel a similar sensation, understanding they both bore the mark of the Grim.

[Domino] “You’re late, Medusa! Prometheus bears the new Plague. Get me to mah’ body… or I’ll take one of yours!”
Eyes bloodshot. Threats that were less of a threat and more of a statement. The way Medusa and Promethus were acquaintanced was the way of the Spada Pirates: with their lives on the line. Medusa spent a lot of time staring at the new Plague, clearly hesitant. She turned her eyes at him, and he returned same.

Domino would not interfere with Promethus. The opposite, his rage was delicious for the soul inside of him. The group stayed stoic, following the guild members to the sole room. Promethus was confident, and what little confidence Domino had in him guided them to not take arms against the guild. By slivers, however, La Spada’s killing intent could be felt, spiking in and out. The favor Promethus had done had payed in dividends.

A chair and the second oldest den den mushi La Spada had ever seen; she had seen Hades’ den den mushi after all. Mimicking the snail, an olden voice spoke with confidence. La Spada could feel it in her bones; this man was unlike the others. The man behind the operation that trumped even the World Government in their house. A Hunter’s Dream.

An unexpected response, fitting for the Grim. Domino took a seat on the chair like a throne, magnanimously smiled and spoke with confidence and a cut of sarcasm; she had seen and recognized the guild’s symbol.

[Domino] “Fifty years ago. The Battle of Epilogue. A pirate crew was extinguished, deleted from tha’ pages of history for their military approach to piracy, fearing it would lead to a united Pirate Regime. One bearing the key to Pandora. A crew led by the daughter of Yonko Warsong.”

[Domino] “Tha’ World Government had failed to defeat tha’ pirates, and so they turned to deception. Admiral Torque could not use Cipher Pol, for he uncovered that the Pols were being controlled by that same pirate, through Chief X-VII. So, they turned to another.”
[Domino] “Two sisters used to betray the third. Betrayal writ in blood.”

Promethus and Medusa looked at each other. They’d never heard the story. What was La Spada speaking about? Domino was extremely calm, which made her words even more convincingly frightening.

[Domino] “After crawling from Hades’ clutches, I visited mah’ grave and found the group responsible for tha’ deception. Take a guess who it was…”
[Domino] “They bore your guild’s symbol.”

A statement that would send memories flooding in. If the man behind the den den mushi was as old as he sounded, he may have been part of the Hunter’s Dream, as a young chap, when they were compensated by Admiral Torque in his operation. Even then, when she was alive, the Pirate’s ruthlessness knew no equal. The man would realize whom he was speaking to. Perhaps one of the few who would know La Spada’s real identity: Isis Warsong.

That realization made her tone more puzzling. La Spada’s voice never wavered. Did she not have feelings of revenge? Somehow, her calm was more eerie than her anger.

What was going through La Spada’s mind?

[Domino] “How mah yah’ guild be of service? Take me to Level 6. To release the devils of this world, including your own. A taste of when tha’ Underworld will rise. This world shall know true Hell! Kuahahahaha!!!”

Medusa and Promethus felt their mark quiver. What was the reason to reveal the guild’s history with her own? Why mention it and show no feelings or words of revenge? La Spada offered them freedom. The daughter of ex-Yonko Warsong would be the one of the few who could achieve it. But at what cost? La Spada was not forgiving. What was the ploy, the plan for the guild?

The gauntlet had been issued, one that would tie the two organizations for decades to come. A gauntlet writ in blood. What would he decide? Knowing Isis Warsong and hearing the story, would he dare say no?

Willem would bare his fangs at the woman, not for her story but for showing disgrace to one of their leaders. The Elder however would sush the old man quickly for it did not bother him. On the contrary, he found it very amusing.

Ha..ha…ha…haaa…Remarkable..Simply remarkable.” The man said with a soft and perhaps forced laugh. But what was so funny about her tale? He’d continue shortly afterwards with quite the surprise.

Ancient names that haven’t been spoken in forever. I can hardly recall their faces but you remember them vividly don’t you? It is not surprising as an avatar for revenge. It was something that fueled you back in the day, wasn’t that right? Madam Spada. Or should I say, Unsundered?

Unsundered? Just what was the old man talking about or about to reveal to the individuals in this room. Willem, informed of this story, would attempt to intervene. “Sir. Do you think it is wise?

Silence. Child. You will not interrupt me again. Understood?” The old voice spoke with authority. So much so that even Prometheus and Medusa would feel it, if this man were here in person. His aura together with that of Spada would most likely dominate the room.

My apologies. Now, where were we” The elder would say trying to gather his thoughts.

Ah yes. You are indeed correct, we did bury you back then. But it was not for deception. You were devoid of a soul, the drive of life. Without it, we saw no reason to keep your body preserved within our guild. Our inability to locate your soul was the driving factor to bury your body. You see this world is not the one you remember it to be. Nay, this one is an all-new one. At least to the perspective of the Unsundered, those that can remember the old world. The Elder would say, revealing a bombshell. Spada was not from this world? It’d stun most of those present, even Medusa and perhaps Spada herself to some degree.

If you require proof on that matter. Ask your pawns, Willem and perhaps most of the individuals in this world. Admiral Torque, The Spada pirates of Old, Paviche, Admiral Suu. All of these names are only known to the Unsundered. People that have been carried away from various reflections into this one. The original or as nomenclature would call it, the source. Only a few of these unsundered managed to survive the trip with their memories intact. You and I are one of these people, Madam Spada. The others I’d have come to call Sundered. They know and remember but their memories have been sundered by the trip, fragmented. Only recalling their past events as legends and folklore. The ramblings of a decaying mind to many who’d listen to their tales. ” The Elder would continue only for a brief pause in his tale, it was a lot to process after all.

Our world, the first reflection, was unstable. A calamity was inevitable. Cran Yam his experiments had caused too much havoc. Bringing various beings, creatures and people into that world. It had grown beyond his control or perhaps it all went to his plan. Who can say at this point? To prevent mass extinction the Guild had one mission, a dream if you’d call it like that. To preserve our people, sending those of character into the source. Body and Soul combined. Sadly only a few survived the trip whole. Some lost their soul and lacked their memory of old. Some had lost their bodies, becoming phantoms that roam this world. But you, perhaps by fate, or by the design of your abilities. You are one of a few handfuls that returned complete. We're trapped here I'm afraid. The first does not return my whispers anymore. I fear it to be dead or deaf to my pleas.” The Elder said, returning back to silence. But this time one could argue it was to give respite to himself. After all those years it still seems to carry a lot of weight on his mind.

We shall grant you access to level 6. However, leave the warden to us. He’s the reason why we’re here. It is our contract and thus our duty to see it through. A mission, decades in the making ends tonight. Do you agree to those terms? Madam Spada? ” The Elder said, revealing the reason why a part of the guild was in Impel Down. The deceit. Their operation. For years was for only one reason. To capture or kill Magellan.

But how would Spada and her ‘allies’ respond to the terrifying realisation that they were not alone? A sort of multiverse existed, worlds that differed greatly from theirs had moved and thrived. Spada was a living example of the theory put into practice. It’d make sense. For most of her story leaned on insanity. All those terms, names, events. They were brought into this world by the sundered ages ago. But they were turned into folklore, legends and myths. No one actually believed all of that to have happened.

Nor would anyone deign to believe it to be stories from a different place altogether. Just how would the pirates process this information? Would they dare to believe the ramblings of an old man? But only Spada would know it was more or less the truth. How else would he know all of those names he had given at the start? No one else had ever heard of them before.

Not here, not in the original world.

And there we have it. How I enjoyed it for you to have already nudged Spada here. Lmao, it gave me chills. If you'd like to incorporate this 'lore' into your own stories feel free. Or if you want more info on it feel free to pm me. As to give a few examples from my previous chars or others I've seen pop up here and there. But I felt for this to be a cool way to link WURP with this new RP system. Many of us went with new characters but as to not forget our old lore I felt it a nice thing to link the two like this. Let me know what you think!

Rohan = lost his body now trapped in spirit within Kallavan, originally a crystal.
Haggar = unknown perhaps brought here by the guild or folklore. I've seen you reference him in Kakashi's quest.
Irra = unknown body is old but the mind is unknown.

I called this rp the source since it has most of the OG one piece characters in it. Kaido, Shanks etc. The others are 'reflections' based upon OP but hold characters that are the same.

Evil Arrives in Impel Down! #17
@QuickZilver708

OCC: For future generations reading this, none of this was planned

Level 5.5
Tension rose. A story thought to be of old, revealing that the guild had been part of the original Spada downfall, where two sisters betrayed one. La Spada told the tale with nay a hint of vengeance, a chilling query in it of itself. A gauntlet was thrown to the individual behind the den den mushi. A gauntlet returned, for the man whose aura joined Spada in overtaking the room revealed a sundered reality.

A new reality. Unsundered.

[Domino] “….!”
La Spada listened to the tale. Her face turned from utter confidence to shock. The Grim’s signature cool, that which made her leagues above the pack, was, well, sundered. Medusa, never before seen Death in such a position, tried to shake her Captain, yet the woman seemed to be in a trance, entranced by memories of the world of reflection.

The old man spoke of names La Spada… no, that Isis Warsong knew well. Names that try as she might, La Spada had not found in even the oldest tomes of this world. She thought herself and others were deleted off history’s pages for fear of their influence… yet, there was always a doubt that this much information could be deleted with no trace.

Cran Yam’s experiments. La Spada gave a low but audible gasp. La Spada may have been the terror in the night, but Cran Yam was the night. The experiments he made, La Spada knew well - she was one of them. A Dream. A Hunter’s Dream. A dream of the source.

The Grim’s mind fought against such an absurd idea. Yet, deep within the trenches of her soul, she had felt it long ago. The memories of her sisters, the only ones she loved, were slipping away in this world. A feeling otherworldly, a dream she buried in her madness. Madness crafted to cope with the reality splintered. Madness to find home, to find peace in soul. A soul’s dream.

La Spada accepted it, nay, her soul accepted it. A rebirth. The evil dream spoke those words that were always carried with her. She didn’t know where they came, perhaps from the reflection world, but they were there. La Spada’s catchphrase.

[La Spada] “It is not the dead who should not be among the living, but the living who should not be among the dead.“

Suddenly, the Grim’s face turned back to wickedness, these now more deliberate, true, not lost.

[La Spada] “Those living in a reality belong to the source. Those dead, a simple dream. Kuhahahahaha….”

[La Spada] “It is not the dreams who should not be among the reality, but the reality who should not be among the dream.”
A magnamous statement only the Elder understood. Who would say what the source was? La Spada would have those dream supplant reality. It would begin in Impel Down.

[La Spada] “The warden’s death will not be unhindered. Yah’ have a deal. Oh, but one morah’ small change. When this day ends, we shall meet face-to-face, “Great One”.
The last words with curt sarcasm. A memory slipped through the veil of madness and out the tongue. An inevitable meeting. Impel Down was reality to be replaced by dream. In truth, Magellan’s death was part of the Spada’s plan as well. The Grim could already rot the mind, she needed that which rots the body: Doku. Those two combined would rot this world. A dream of madness.

Impel Down @Ichimonji
Fufufufu” The Elder chuckled softly

Spada had listened to his tale and had shown a wide array of reactions. Disbelief, shock, terror and finally at the end. Acceptance. Or at least a version of it. With it, she’d also agree to the elder’s plan and establish a mutual agreement. They’d lead her to level 6 but in exchange, she’d leave the end of Magellan to The Dream. In the end, a desire was also requested. A face to face meeting with the Elder of the dream. This request, while not unexpected, still came as a surprise to the individual.

Very well. A Convocation will happen soon. Follow the mark and Yharnam shall reveal itself. I pray for your safe arrival. Madam Spada. Follow Willem’s instructions for this part. He’s commander of the impel down-division. ” The Elder said, revealing their location. How and when to get there was for Spada herself to discover. “ Until we meet again, Spada Pirates. fufufufu

*Gacha*

The voice would say following from the trademark den den mushi click. An agreement was struck between the two parties. Now it was up to move towards the planning phase. To which Willem would take centre stage. “ Now then, on to the plan.” Willem would say grabbing the attention of the spada pirates. “Level 6 stronghold is isolated from the other areas. Even from here there is no special path. To get to the entrance we’ll have to move through level 5 itself. Which given our company shouldn’t be much of a problem.” Willem said, giving a glance to the ever-burning Prometheus.

Once we’re at the end of level 5 I’d expect heavy resistance. Our little skirmish and the Sabotage from the Spada pirates have put Impel Down on a high-level alert. Therefore I suggest splitting up into two teams. I’ll lead the diversion to get Maggelan and a few of his cronies away from the area. Meanwhile, the Spada pirates push through into level 6. Some of the dream and I will cause havoc in level 4, that should be enough to keep Maggelan occupied, it is his office after all. However, I’ll need one capable member of your team to assist us in that matter. The Warden is no small fry, even if we throw our entire division at him. The Doku Doku no mi isn’t easily fought. Talk it over who you’ll send into that battle, Spada. Until you get your body back you’ll be the most vulnerable in this operation.

Willem had laid out the plan going forward. Spada had to move one of her pawns into the diversion team. If not she’d risk the Warden coming straight toward her and her allies. While she, in her original form, might be their biggest chance. For now, she wasn’t remotely able to combat him fully. She’d need all the time the Dream could grant her. But who’d be best to attack the warden and who’d be the best to defend her in the meantime? The dream will grant her some resources in the form of its own members. But none of them reached the level of Willem or even Prometheus.

She’d have to think carefully.

If there aren’t any questions. We’ll leave asap. Those of you who wish to procure some weapons can do so at our crafting station. It won’t be top quality but at least it’ll be something.” Willem would say with some parting words. And a suggestion to those who wished to get some makeshift weapons could still acquire them at this point.

The raid into level 6 was finally at hand.

Level 5.5
An unsundered deal. The den den mushi faded out, and La Soada’s grin grew wider than ever. She felt her body within her grasp. The bloodshed that would accompany it was salivating to a soul as she. Wilhelm was revealed to be the commander and guide.

Two groups. A simple choice.

[Domino] “The Warden? That’ why mah’ darling Medusa is here. Poison runs through her veins. She will go with yah’.”

The Gorgon Queen. Her body was immune to most poisons and resistant to all, though the Doku’s higher tier may be different entirely. La Spada was, after all, profession of Devil Fruitology; she knew the fruits by sight or name.

A detail perhaps lost on those busy with such a grand task. La Spada specifically noted Medusa was brought as a countermeasure for Magellan and the Doku. How did La Spada know beforehand? Was this a passerby hint to the Grim’s plans for the Doku, a foreshadowing to breaking the deal? Time would tell.
[Domino] “Promethus, mah’ dear. Care to wreak some havoc on those who held yah’ captive?”
[Promethus] “Firehehehehe. Finally things are getting interesting!”

Domino spoke with sarcastic authority, and Promethus responded with a wickedness Wilhelm had not seen before. A wicked turn since meeting the Grim. It was decided. Medusa would go with Wilhelm and Promethus with Domino.

In the crafting station, Medusa grabbed a Bisento and the biggest shield she could find. Prometheus wrapped chains around his wrists, tying wide sword to the end; mimicking Blades of Chaos. La Spada took none. Perhaps it was her arrogance, or perhaps she did not want to disturb her disguise as the Head Jailer Domino. Likely arrogance.

The raid of Impel Down was at hand.

Impel Down @Ichimonji

Level 4

A temporary alliance between the Spada pirates and the Hunter's dream. The Vanguard force had moved into level 4, the boiling hell and the floor where Magellan had housed his office. Through a secret passageway, the members of the group would exit from their HQ at 5.5. Willem, Medusa and two dozen or so Hunters would exit, ready to cause havoc at the right signal. Once everyone was ready Willem would make one final remark. "Everyone ready? Try and get out of our way while fighting the Warden, even in his proximity you're at risk of finding death." Willem said as he equipped himself with two kamas outlined with a crimson esque blade, signifying the leaves he had harvested from level one.

Now ready for combat Willem would rush out at the front as they sliced and diced any soldiers that came in their view. Medusa would observe various cells on their path forward and if they so chose could use the carnage to release some prisoners from level four.

The impel down guards would defend to the best of their abilities while some would run away shouting in fear. Several who had escaped the eyes of the vanguard force had initiated the highest level of alarm. It'd bypass any known security, blaring it on all floors with a message where the most forces were needed.

* ALERT ALERT OUTBREAK AT LEVEL 4 ALERT ALERT ALL IMPEL DOWN PERSONNEL TO COMBAT STATIONS*

Hell had broken loose at Impel down as gunshots echoed through the floor combined with cries of agony from the defeated. So far no casualties were found on the alliance but that wouldn't stay for very long. A crash would suddenly echo through the floor as two Jailer beasts had dropped from above, level 3. The Minokoala and the Minorhinoceros would drop a single person from their hands once they had reached the ground floor. Their appearance concealed their terrifying strength as many knew it to be the case in Impel Down. The individual who had dropped from their embrace was the Chief guard, Sadi and one of the more sadistic individuals within Impel Down.

"Koa-chan, Rhino-chan. End these vermin if you will, please? If you don't, I'll have to...punish you. Mhhhhh "

The two Jailer beasts upon hearing that remark would suddenly shift into a completely different gear. Going from docile to a near rampage. Swinging down with their clubs upon the Dreams weaker members and dispatching them at an alarming rate. Willem upon seeing this would turn around and dashed towards Koa-chan. Delivering a powerful kick that was blocked by the incredible beast. But the Hunter's strength was still too much to bear as it was blasted backwards a couple of meters. "HAH! AT LAST, A BEAST TO TEST MY METTLE!" Willem would shout, drunk on the prospect of killing these 'superior' zoans. He'd quickly pursue the pushed back Koa-chan. Leaving Medusa on her own to either defend the hunters or move ahead on her own. Magellan was the real threat, after all.

Level 5

The polar opposite of level 4 was the freezing hell of level 5. Here would be the main invading force consisting of a handful of hunters, Prometheus and Spada under the guise of Domino. Traversing the freezing snowy lands of this level 5 everyone was equipped with some warm clothing. But it would be far from enough to shield them completely in these circumstances. The only one actually somewhat impervious to it was Prometheus himself, the ever-burning flame. Spada now in the body of an actual human would for the first time in a long time find the effect of the freezing weather. Suddenly the alarm that was started in level 4 would scream out here as well.

As they moved through signs of a large scale battle would be observed around them. Craters, smoking debris and various puddles of purple liquid still remained on this floor. Should Spada recall she'd remember Hannyabal mentioning trouble on this floor. But to see signs to such a large scale battle begged the question of who it was they fought around here? Eventually, they'd reach a large open area filled with scattered debris and combat markers. And in the far distance two large metal doors directing into the mysterious level 6. Standing between Spada and the door were Impel down Officers and one she'd recognize immediately, Hannyabal the vice-warden himself. Next to him was Maria, looking to the side with shyness. In front of the door was Lucy, taking up guarding duty in case anyone would bull rush through their defences.

Hannyabal would take a step forward and questions Domino, still oblivious to who had possessed her.

"Domino? Explain yourself! What's the meaning of this?"
"Uhm...Hm..I..Sir.." Maria would try to push through her shyness
"OOI SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!" Lucy shouted from across the arena.
"Warden Magellan was right sir! It looks like they want something from level 6."
"Hmm. A handful of choices..." Hannyabal would continue to himself.
"What did you do to our Chief! You aren't her!" Maria would say abruptly, stunning both Hannyabal and Lucy for her directness. They weren't used to her talking like this.

Spada her own forces were now up against 3 high level impel down officers. Placed here through a hunch from Magellan but due to his uncertainty, he wasn't ready to commit his forces to it full time. They were still riding blind after all.

It was up to Spada and her allies to respond. While some might argue they were outnumbered these 3 could easily count for 10 men each.

Meanwhile on Impel down

The raid had finally begun, the carnage of level 4 was spiralling out of control in the hopes of grabbing Magellan's attention. Spada had reached the first stop in her pursuit of returning to her original form and Medusa was in the middle of a battle of her own. But despite all of this, where was the big boss himself? Throughout this entire adventure, he hadn't been mentioned once nor a glimpse of him had been caught. Besides the obvious marks on level 5, he had retreated from this level to supposedly his own office. Unable to remain here longer himself. But the time was finally at hand, tensions were rising and the stakes were never so high before. The man had another possible outbreak on his hands and perhaps the biggest of them all.

It was finally time.

A single toilet flush would echo throughout the facility, metaphorically. But those within earshot of his office could finally tell.

The warden finally got off the toilet after his previous battle.

"I hope you're ready. Pirates. My toilet time is sacred."

@QuickZilver708

Level 4
The distraction group would tear down the soldiers. With no haste, Medusa used the carnage to free as many Level 4 prisoners as she could. At the very least, they could be cannon fodder. Promise of freedom and mayhem awaited them. Wilhem was as insane as ever, his bloodlust matching Medusa’s own as they cut down the opposition.

Soon, the alarm would blare. Enter the jailer Beasts.

[Medusa] “Took you long enough, uglies!”

Medusa called them ugly. Athena had turned her into a hag. It was customary for Medusa to insult someone’s appearance to lower them to her own bad self-esteem. An insult accompanied by slamming her Bisento to the ground, ready for battle.

[Medusa] “You reckon if we kill these uglies the big bad man will come out to play? Yes….”

Wilhem’s charge of battle was all the sign she needed. Medusa had been holding back for far too long. The woman bared her fangs and propelled herself to Minorhinoceros. Medusa used her slinky snake-like body to snake her way in between the Rhinoceros and Sadie. With her Bisento above her head, Medusa brought it down over the head of the Rhinocerous. Her tail, long as it was, sought Sadie’s chest, coated in toxia.

Medusa sought to divide the weaker one.

Level 5
Domino and the group convened in Level 5. The cold made Domino shiver under her coat, a feeling abnormal to her. This body made her blood boil. Such weakness. Such disgust. La Spada couldn’t wait to get out of it. The Grim knew that once her body was back in her hands, it was game over. onwards to Level 6.

The area was desolate. The group looked for the entrance to Level 6. The way was blocked by three figures, those that Domino recognized. One, Lucy, was barring the path at the end. This was likely the entrance to Level 6. Allegations came. The shy one, Maria, spoke up.

The true nature could not be held back any longer. An unruly response.

[Domino] “Kuhahahahaha… Kuahahahaha… Kuahahahah… KUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

A chuckle turned to a low laugh. A laugh turned to a cackle. A cackle turned to a maddening howl. With each laugh the tone grew stronger, eviler, madder. The last was a truly deranged howl that echoed through Level 5. Having put one over them filled her soul with glee, shown by her unrighteous and condescending laughs.

Domino’s tone had changed. An accent coated the deeper darker voice Hannyabal had heard once before.

[Domino] “Yah’ really are some world-class fools! Never underestimate tha’ power of human stupidity! So many dead… so many freed… Right. Under. Your. Noses!”

[Domino] I’ve enjoyed playing yah’ for fools. But alas, I grow tired. Time to die, no? Kuhahahaaha!”

Words let loose. After all that time, La Spada could not contain it any longer. The utter glee of demeaning the three was palpable. Promethus readied himself for battle, his body igniting, The Grim raised her right hand. Soul power collected atop it, brimming with energy and haki. The cackled of a mad woman now loose echoed through Level 5.
