Original Post By: larsi
Finally fully loaded, Larsi set off towards the light source in the distance. The air was thankfully cool, and moving kept him warm, and his bodywarmth would keep his friends warm. They made small talk, enjoying their trek towards their location. Within a couple of hours they reached their target, Rain Base. Still in the dead of the night, Larsi gingerly made his way down the deserted street. At the end was the pyramid with a crocodile statue perched atop it. The casino Crocodile owns and inhabits. Just you wait, little man. With a single step, the giant stepped over the moat, finding himself in a mostly deserted courtyard.
Who are yo- Larsi's hand quickly covered the guard, putting his other finger in front of his mouth to signal silence. Luckily, the man listened and halted his speech. Satisfied, Larsi spoke as quietly as possible. Where is Crocodile? He could see the man weigh his options, but it seemed the huge hand weighed more than his loyalty. With a trembling voice, the man spoke quietly. He left for a business trip in Alubarna a few days ago.
What's going on here? Larsi looked up. Another guard had rounded the corner, his weapon now raised towards them. Musashi.
Got it. Leaping from his pocket, his crewman dashed forward, so fast that the man couldn't respond before a blade was pressed against his neck. Where is Crocodile?
I uh- I can't- The blade pressed harder, drawing blood. At the same time, Larsi covered the other man's face, before pressing down. A muffled scream could be heard, before silence. Rising to his feet, Larsi faced the man Musashi was holding. He'sinAlubarna! Larsi smiled. Thank you. Musashi.
Roger. With one move, the blade cut across the man's neck, Musashi walking away as the limp body fell to the ground. Larsi reached out with his Color of Observation, sensing if there were any more close by. Meanwihle, Muashi climbed back into his pocket. Sensing nobody, Larsi stepped out of the courtyard, disabling his haki, disappearing down the street. What a waste of time.
A few hours later, Larsi reached the ship again. Let's just get this over with. Just stay where you are. One foot aboard and one ashore, Larsi kicked off with all his force, jumping aboard. The ship was sent virtually flying across the river. While it shot across, Larsi picked up a barrel of water. All the walking had made him thirsty. He finished the water before they made land. Picking up another, the giant jumped ashore, threading through the sand once more. Above him, the sky was starting to light up.
A few hours later, the sun was about to rise over the horizon. Larsi sat down in the sand, looking at the wall that defended Alubarna against attacks. Raising the second barrel to his mouth, Larsi started chugging again, though he didn't finish it in one go. Get your Den Den Mushis and go look for Crocodile. Keep a low profile, in two teams. Me and Minuano will remain here, ready to come for him once you let us know.
Larsi hunkered down, and would wait outside the city. He knew a giant would likely attract attention, but he would not be much help in the search.
