Lemnos is a large island with an always active volcano near the center. The inhabitants have harnessed the power of it and use the lava, heat, rock etc to create and power their technology and cities. The leader of the island and one of the Olympians Hephaestus, rules from a forge on top of the volcano where he creates various weapons and even Automatons.

Chapter 0: The Four

It had been a few days that the division under Link’s command was within the New World. They were on the island of Maelstrom then a mysterious call that forced Link to withdraw. Now time has passed and the division that was led by Link is now led by a new commander, a comrade of Link. My name is Solomon and I am the new commander of this division.

It had been a few days where introductions were done with one another, along our journey I was able to recruit two more. From the new world we now find ourselves in the North Blue.

I had taken little interest in the outside world from where I was, though all of this was thrown out the window the moment something caught my attention. It was a rare copy of a world economic times, within the copy a lot caught my attention then a name piqued my interest, which left me no option by contact.

I was sat at the kitchen table though it wasn't for lunch but for a quick meeting to disclose a subject I had to sort out. The matter of subject being who would become my vice commander.

Sat to my right first was Cain S. Salazar, an infamous beast of the spear that is renowned for being referred to as Mark of Cain. A blue-haired, red-eyed man who was in an ultramarine full body tight outfit. Having grey metallic pauldrons, and a metal plate over his lowest abdominal section. He had his hair rattail that reaches his mid-back and also wearing a pair of silver earrings. He was sat on the table though he was leaning back off his hair with him chewing on his gum.

Next up was sat to his right was one of the recent recruits, he was no other than from a different species. In particular a Fishman and not any Fishman in general but none other than a Great White Shark. That off-white pale-looking scaly skin with white yes are terrifying to even look at but that was Marko.

To my left was also a new recruit in the last few days but also was a colleague to not just me but also Link, none other than Leon Bigby. Leon Bigby a grey wolf mink. Another species that is stated to be one of the apex predators of the natural world. Dressed in a simple black tee, a golden buckle belt, and black jeans. That was Leo, a simple mink who didn't care about his appearance as he always would put the task before appearance.

Finally sat two chairs away from Leo was also one of the new recruits from Maelstrom. She was there with a false name to go by to not catch too much attention. It was Velvet. One would easily mistake her as the most beautiful woman in the world. Her most recognisable feature was her long, snowy rose pink hair tied up into a bun, has long bangs that flare over her face. With her piercing aquatic blue eyes with streaks of red like aquatic leaves, not of those of a person that is simply in a trance of death. But in fact, it’s almost a childish glee to them. Velvet has fair skin like most other girls but possesses a heart-warming smile. She has an athletic yet curvy figure. She would be wearing her detailed kimono with her scabbards placed at her hips thanks to a hash that is tied to her waist.

Despite all four of them being the newest recruit, each one of them was a force to reckon. I would even go far as to say each of them was a one-man army, though in velvet's case a one-woman man army.

The days working tirelessly on forging whatever the citizens had requested of him were some of Hephaestus' most tiring days, but also some of the most rewarding. He took tremendous pride in everything he built, and felt that it was ultimately his responsibility to build. Years ago, his authority had been challenged by a man named Prometheus. The fallout from this caused a rift between Hephaestus and the citizens, that was only repaired when he built the Automatons, technological warriors built to protect the citizenry. He also equipped the strongest warrior of the land, "Metal" Gotoi, with cybernetic enhancements. Today was not such a noteworthy day, as Hephaestus simply had nothing to do but sit on his throne and ponder life.

The warrior's spirit is often like-minded, and headstrong, thought Hephaestus. Such is a life devoted to a singular cause. What is my purpose? To make that which is demanded, but not to wield it, though High Olympus knows I am capable.

As he continued to do as he had done for lengths of time unknown, the citizens were in an uproar.

"Is that stupid robot defective or some bullshit?" yelled a man, kicking one of the Automatons.

A cyclops, about twice the size of an average human, appeared in front of them. "What is going on?" the cyclops asked.

"Brontes! Thanks goodness you're here!" screamed a woman. "It's simply terrible, this man's family was killed by the Automaton."

"Impossible, they've been programmed to obey the laws of robotics, as outlined by Vomisa Caasi."

It seemed Brontes had a mystery on his hands, and he would need to solve it fast, as the townspeople were whipping themselves up into a frenzy over it.

"Hm, where is Koppair? He has a way of calming the people, it would be good it he could help me with this."

Brontes and Koppair were two cyclops brothers, equal in everything except personality. Brontes had the desire to help others, but more often than not lacked the charisma to do so. Though he was thought of as dependable, he was also seen as intidimating. Koppair, on the other hand, cared more about himself, but entirely by accident seemed to melt people's problems away just with his presence. Both of the brothers had been raised by Hephaestus in the mountain after being rejected by the townspeople, so their eventual graduation to being Hephaestus' most trusted advisors had turned their luck and life around.

Koppair was in the forest, sampling various fruits and small animals, trying to ascertain which ones were edible, which ones caused hallucinations, and which ones were poisonous or tasted bad. It was one of his more dangerous hobbies, though only Brontes seemed to want to chastise him for it, with Hephaestus thinking that it's only Koppair's business if he chooses a risky hobby, and the townspeople not being close enough to either or the brothers to really care about their hobbies.

"Okay, so, these berries taste good... may have to wait a day or two to see if they side effects, though..." Koppair said aloud to himself as he tasted some red berries he had picked, and walked through the forest.

Chapter 1: Land Ahoy!

Before any decision could be made regarding the new vice commander of the ship, a call would be yelled down from the bottom of the crewmen's lungs. Leon would have his ears twitch then curl in the direction of alert directing his eyes to the outside, though he wasn't the first as right after him Marko would react with his gills fluttering followed with a grin. Cain on the other hand would stop his rocking of the seat with a smile as Velvet would not react whatsoever.

Each of them reacted differently to one another though two of the four reacted with a smile showing their naivety or what I would call arrogance. Yet the other two showed me signs of patience which would not go unnoticed. The four would leave walking out the kitchen preparing for landing as a sighting of a mountain was visible with a rich density of a forest surrounding it.

I'd sigh before I would request a crewman to fetch me the Den Den Mushi as I had to make a call and prepare to land. It didn't take him long to fetch me it as I would wait sat at the table.

"It's me, Solomon, I know you guys may not know. I am the one who came to replace Link. Anyways I have a vivre card so if you guys can follow me." Though who would be on the other line would be mentioned much later.

It didn't take that long before we would reach the port of the island as I headed out with Cain, Leon, Marko, and Velvet waiting to leave the ship.

My clothing would shine under the sun that would come from behind as the island due to the mountain would have the clouds darkened due to the volcanic activity.

"You guys make sure we have a contingency plan as I don't like this" I would say requesting that to the four. I was really cautious due to the volcanic activity.

It was finally time as we landed at port seeing the residents of the island cheerfully laughing and shouting at one another. The fishermen would be operating differently from those in the waters with nets to either side as others wherein their little fishing boats.

We finally landed on the island made foot on the sandy beach as the four would stand side by side with me to their side.

"You guys better be careful but" as I would sigh "make sure we get some resources and let's see what the island has in store"

A new chapter would await as the wonders of the island a mystery would come crumbling before them. It was the dawn of a new era and the first adventure Solomon would be apart of and have before him. Though this wasn't the first for Solomon neither as from far away Link himself was waiting to see Solomon's first move.

'This is gonna be fun'

"Alright people, calm down, I will handle this matter, let me take the defective robot to Hephaestus and sort this out," said Brontes.

"Yeah, right, Hephaestus probably doesn't care at all what these stupid robots do!" said the man with no more family.

"I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't stir the pot, sir. I understand your loss must be harrowing, but this isn't the best time to be antagonising those who are just trying to help."

Brontes swiftly escorted the apparently defective Automaton to the volcano and away from the crowd of people.

Koppair had just arrived at the base of the volcano, seeming to have wandered there on his journey. Hm? Did those berries impair my sense of direction? Or was I unconsciously wanting to return here, and ended up doing so?

Brontes and Koppair met with Hephaestus. Brontes could hardly ask where his brother had been, as he had the matter of the Automaton to discuss. Besides, he thought, it's not too hard to guess where he's been.

"Brontes, Koppair, what brings you to my throne on this laziest of days?" asked Hephaestus.

"Sir, it's not so lazy as it may seem, a citizen has reported that this Automaton has apparently killed his family."

"Seems unlikely, but I will assess its memories to be sure."

In the village, the crowd had dissipated and the man was talking to his friend inside his house. "So, did that robot really kill your wife and kids?"

"Nah, they left the island. Said they couldn't take my hatred for the machines. Anyway, I was sick of looking at that one particular robot, so I blamed it, knowing people would believe it despite not having any logical reason to."

"Man, it's kind of twisted how you play into people's fears like that."

"Yes, I know. And when Hephaestus discovers the truth and tries to punish me, I'll become a martyr for my cause."

"You've really thought this through, haven't you?"

"I've given it a decent amount of thought. Well, at any rate, it's too late to turn back now, the wheels are in motion."

Chapter 2: en route!

As the four stood on the sandy beach, I would observe the citizens of the island. Watching them hauling their catches coming to shore then splitting their catches for some to take to their homes to cook and others for their stalls in the markets to sell.

Marko who caught the sense of smell would catch his attention, his eyes dilated turning black with his body trembling at the stench of blood. This would alert Velvet who would swiftly take initiative and grab him back knocking him back to his senses.

Though this wasn't the only one who would be enveloped in the love of the aroma of the stench. Leon's nostrils enlargened as the scent became stronger though unlike Marko he wasn't interested in the smell of blood from the fishermen's catches but another from the town that was up ahead.

I'd carefully analyse both their movements both displaying their instinctive behaviors, both carnivores and apex predators of their domain. I'd cup my chin between my fingers knowing we had lingered far too long and began to walk ahead.

We would be sighted to a small gathering of people then slowly dispersing from afar. Though from the town to the shore there were men, women, and children alike who would be carrying their hauls and arriving at the shore like it was a rota for the citizens for their catches.

I'd walk on ahead with the four following suite, as we walked I would be in my own world contemplating on something as soon as I would think of something a child would bump into me.

The child would stutter then apologise bowing to me as a means of sincerity. I would glare at the child then tap the child's shoulder
"Hey kid no problem, it's my fault that I walked into you" with a smile.

We were finally on our way to the city, like a line of ants who would go out to get food and resources and come back to the nest, that is how one would think if they would watch down.

Hephaestus had always taken great pride in his works, and the Automatons were no exception. To hear reports of such a bizarre malfunction amongst one of them had him at a loss for words. He silently deactivated the robot while opening it up to look inside it. He had a wire that could connect the hard drive of a robot to a visual den den mushi, and he simply had to make the hard drive accessible so that he could connect them. Through the den den mushi, he would then be able to access the memories and watch them as they happened.

He watched as the robot was routinely insulted and belittled by one particular villager. The robot just allowed it to happen, completely unfazed. The villager's family seemed to be upset by the man's irrational and growing hatred. They would constantly threaten to leave.

One day, the man stood in front of the robot. "You know what I'm going to do, right? I'm going to blame you for a crime that didn't even happen. My family left me because of my hatred for you machines... soon that won't matter..."

Hephaestus had enough of listening to the man's monologue. He was bewildered that the man had handed the truth to him on a silver platter. Why would he do this? Is he trying to bait me into antagonising my own citizens? Who does he think he is? What does he take me for?

- - -

The man had long since finished talking to his friend, and was now doing the dishes. Shit, why'd she have to leave, now I've got to do everything myself. Oh well, small price to pay for satisfaction and peace of mind. One day those good-for-nothing robots will be gone forever.

After washing a plate, and in-between washing another one, he heard a knock on the door. Who could that be? he wondered. He walked away from the kitchen sink and went to answer the door. To his surprise, however, the door was already opening.

Narration (Point-of-View from Solomon's take the rest General Narration) / "Speech " / 'Thinking ' / { Flashback } Attack's Used

We finally arrived as the odor of fish from the markets would coat us then wither away from a gentle breeze. Leon and Marko were a little hesitant due to them being different species. The duo would have citizens gouge their eyes gazing at them, eyeing them up to head to toe. Marko would feel anxious and nudge Leon with his forearm. " Hey man, is it me or everyone is staring at us? "

I'd keep my attention noticing that too as I'll turn my attention to Marko " Marko and Leon why don't you two stay on the outskirts and keep yourselves out of attention. " I'd sigh following that as the duo would gaze at one another. " Racists! " Leon would mutter under his breath with some emotion behind his heavy words.

I'd listen and hear the manner of Leon's response, though at the same time Velvet would feel anxious at the situation knowing we could do with numbers. ' Without them two, we would be two people down ' though my hand would tap and rest on her shoulder for a moment. " Listen if anyone has a problem with either of you for what race you are, send them my way. I'll happily sort them out. Though I don't want either of you to raise a hand got it. "

" Why can't they raise a hand?, Solomon? " Cain would ask as Velvet would reply to his questions " Circle of hatred. If they raise their hands the hatred grows within and escalates the issue. " I'd smile at her answer and begin to splinter away before a few words " Nevermind what I said you guys just do you but I need a drink so who's in? "

Cain would reply " Is this a trick question? or you seriously offering? " as I would laugh at as I would head off. " Hey, you think these folks are scared of sharks? " Marko would ask as Leon would giggle " Who's scared of little fishes? " the duo would bicker. " You two come on join us " Velvet would then grab Leon's hand and Marko's then push them in front of her.

Cain would pause with Leon, Marko, and Velvet walking behind myself, like a wild beast his attention would be directed at something or someone else. He'd head over to a building and no knocking of the door and turn the handle with the door creaking as he would open. His movement wouldn't go unnoticed from a certain someone.

Though at first he thought it had been his imagination followed by a gust of wind, that he had left the door ajar and now he was paying the price, it seemed there was someone there. As someone who rarely got visitors, and had just wrapped up lunch with an associate, he was unsure of how to process this new information.

Great, just great, he thought. Someone comes to visit while I'm in the middle of an important life defining moment. Well, who's this guy, anyway? I don't recognise him from the village, and I certainly don't think Hephaestus or any of his goons would get here this quickly.

Before he could be caught too deep in his own thoughts, he looked directly into the man's eyes. "Can I help you with something?"

- - -

Hephaestus was still reeling from the revelation that this man had pulled such an egregious stunt. How the hell am I supposed to handle this? Perhaps the counsel of Brontes and Koppair may aid me in this crucial decision.

Hephaestus knew that the townspeople needed a strong decisive leader. They needed to be given clear words that spoke to their hearts as well as their minds. Simply stating the facts would be too blunt and careless in this situation. Their feelings and biases had been exploited by a bad actor. The only proper course of action would be one that takes what they already believe about the situation into consideration, while also introducing the counter-narrative and allowing them to change their minds.

To say accomplishing such things would be tricky is an understatement. As Hephaestus was well aware, creating favourable optics and changing the narrative could be downright impossible even at the best of times. He had faced similar necessities before, though under very different circumstances. There was a hope, however. Now that he had more trusted minds to consult on such matters, namely that of Brontes and Koppair, he felt a world more confident in his ability to find the right course of action.

He summoned Koppair and Brontes to his throne room. Their meeting and discussion was about to begin.

Chapter 4: The Beginning of the End Part 1

"Can I help you with something?"
Cain stared at him before taking a step forward " Tell me about this place, as in this island. Also, tell me from the whispers from those sheep walking around. Just what did you say to them? " Cain then placed his spear against the wall. " Maybe I could use this buffoon by manipulating him "

Myself, Velvet and Marko would enter a bar with our round beginning. " Remember this is just one round from me " I would giggle as Velvet who doesn't drink " Excuse me, I wanna ask about this place but more importantly that man that was grumpy. Tell me about him. "

Marko would look around " Hey where's Cain and Leon? " so would Velvet notice this but carry on with wanting an answer for the inquiry she had.

I would continue with my drink.

Meanwhile, Leon would head over outside the building that Cain entered and grinned.

The confidence and casual attitude with which this unfamiliar person spoke to him irked the man. Though he rarely stated his name, he had this unruly sense that everyone should inherently know it. This is why he was not keen on outsiders. It was a race between outsiders and machines as to who annoyed him more. His real name was Stephen, but the name he insisted on going by was 'Proteus'.

"Ah, so you're new here. But what of these questions? You think I had something to do with - well you say whispers, I can't even be sure of what you're asking. But tell you what. You've come to me at a most opportune time, traveller. I am about to shake things up on this dull little island. And yes, I can talk to you about everything that goes on here."

Though at first he was reserved about the prospect of interacting with a stranger, he quickly loosened up, assuming the role of a tourist guide, or something similar.

"Where to begin? Lemnos is one bizarre place to live on a day-to-day basis. Hephaestus, in his self-appointed righteous wisdom rules over the land from his volcano, coming down to grace us with whatever gifts he deems us worthy of having. The people eat that shit up. The last thing he did was create these Automatons, man their very existence pisses me off."

Proteus loved to talk, when he had something to say. It felt immensely relieving to let whoever was unfortunate enough to be listening to him know every excruciating detail about what he was thinking and feeling at that moment.

"So, you just so happen to be talking to the man of the century, perhaps. I have big plans to turn the tide against Hephaestus. I'm sick of the machines, sick of things being the same, sick of a life where everyone just gets along and acts like there's anything valuable in that."

He was putting a lot at stake trusting this stranger with his ideals, but at this point he knew that it was only a matter of time before Hephaestus had reached a decision.

Hephaestus presented the facts to Brontes and Koppair, leaving the two speechless. He waited for five minutes before asking the duo why they had not given any feedback.

"Well sir, a situation this precarious requires careful thought and consideration," said Brontes.

"I'm thinking of what to have for lunch," said Koppair.

"Blockhead..." said Brontes. "At least try to pretend you care about this highly sensitive issue."

"You're a highly sensitive issue."

In a small boat with a width and height of 20 ft/7 yards. Ray Señior sees the island, Lemnos. Ray checks his worn-out map,

'' He said it'd be here,'' Ray squeals in excitement. ''I can't believe I'll be part of the Devil Pirates so soon!!'' Ray raises his eyebrow as he lay his eyes on the far away volcano. '' Out of all the places to be hired as a Devil Pirate, why on this island Link?''

A group of civilians known as the Council of The Market had gathered to discuss their concerns about Proteus, and whether or not they believed his story about a rogue automaton.

"Proteus has a vested interest in turning the townspeople against Hephaestus. And what of the Vomisa rules of robotics? Are we sure his claims have merit?" asked one man, a merchant of carpets, pots, and oddities.

"Regardless of how we feel, or what the facts are, he has succeeded in whipping up the townspeople. They now fear the Automatons, and to a degree they distrust even Gotoi."

- - -

Hephaestus sighed, exhausted by his apprentices' bickering. "You already know why I summoned you here, can you at least give me some advice before I let you think on it?"

"Hm, well I think that our first priority should be exposing the truth of the situation," said Brontes.

"I think pizza sounds good," said Koppair.

"Are you STILL thinking about food?" asked Brontes.

"What? I'm hungry."

You've come to me at a most opportune time, traveller. I am about to shake things up on this dull little island. And yes, I can talk to you about everything that goes on here."
Cain upon listening to this brought a smile that came in the shape of a smirk, this was nothing but music to his ears. Cain desires chaos and anarchy but was listening to something that was making his mouth watery. He gulped with excitement then gazed at Stephen.

"Where to begin? Lemnos is one bizarre place to live on a day-to-day basis. Hephaestus, in his self-appointed righteous wisdom rules over the land from his volcano, coming down to grace us with whatever gifts he deems us worthy of having. The people eat that shit up. Cain listened to the man monologue and get it all off his chest though as he did so the door handle turned and opened as Leon entered " Knock Knock "

The tension was already high as Cain looked back, " If you don't mind a wolf prying, so you want revolution huh? ... " as he took a break seeing how the man would respond but would look the other way before speaking again.

" And just how are you planning to turn the tide against this Heph- whatever the name is? " before any response can be made Cain spoke.

" So tell me right now do these citizens believe you? ... By the looks of these people they love the way how life is and how will you change their heads? "

The strange man questioned Proteus' capability to manipulate, something which irked him, though he showed no sign of irritation. You think I can't sow distrust? I understand, you're a stranger, who doesn't know me, and I'm a man without any prior experience in this regard.

"My plan is already in motion. I have framed an Automaton for murder and the public are already unsure of what to believe. Hephaestus, of course, will see right through it. But, one wrong move and he could easily mess things up for himself. Now, he's a smart individual, with some advisors that will surely aid him in making a final decision. As such, I think that it's entirely possible he makes the right move and assuages the citizen's concerns. If that happens, rather than becoming a martyr, I will devise a backup plan, something to make the people question the status quo. I will challenge the island's greatest warrior, Gotoi, to a fight. One which I will surely lose. At that point, I expect my death to lead them to wonder if they are safe being protected by someone who could kill them."

Proteus had his plan, and while it might have been foolhardy to most people on the island, he possessed a strength of conviction that had him convinced that his actions were the right ones.

- - -

Hephaestus hung his head in disappointment as Koppair ordered a pizza on the den den mushi.

"I'd like a large every-topping-you-can-imagine special with extra mystery chunks, please."

"Is this Koppair again? You're lucky that you're a regular, no-one else but you is crazy enough to order that type of pizza."

"How long will it take?"

"You know the drill. Fifteen minutes or it's free."

"Yeah, and good luck getting to a volcano in fifteen minutes."

"Hephaestus built us a teleporter."

Koppair's eyes bulged and his mouth dropped, as he turned to Hephaestus as if to communicate his despair.

"Serves you right for eating that garbage," said Brontes. "Now, I'm more than ready to start the discussions..."

"Locust"

The Revolutionary Rebellion:
The strange man questioned Proteus' capability to manipulate, something which irked him, though he showed no sign of irritation. You think I can't sow distrust? I understand, you're a stranger, who doesn't know me, and I'm a man without any prior experience in this regard.
Leon simply stared at the man noting the strange breathing knowing as he could smell it coming from him, one can simply say it's a perk from a carnivore. They smell fear, and in this case a wolf's senses. His mouth would get watery a little but not enough where it would be seen by another unless there was another mink of a carnivore race or a carnivore zoan user. Leon would then begin to look around and just grab a random book and open it as if he was just a third wheel in the conversation.

Cain on the other hand wouldn't notice any change within the man as he just remained quiet awaiting what he will respond with.
One which I will surely lose. At that point, I expect my death to lead them to wonder if they are safe being protected by someone who could kill them."
Cain listening to this would give off a smirk. " So you framed one of them, huh? " he would mutter quietly not enough to be heard by the man then cough before he spoke clearly. " You plan to become a martyr for this revolution? ... "

Leon who became the third wheel would then speak up to offer his two cents. " I have a plan, where you don't have to become a sacrificial lamb ... Why not just try luring that Gotoi, the so-called greatest warriors out. If not lure them Automaton's out ... Once you do lure it out me and Cain would attack it if there's one out on its own. Though the plan of ours would be to redirect the damage at people's home and therefore indirectly causing friction between the people and these machines. Voila, ain't that a better option? "

Cain listening to this " Not a bad plan but it's full of holes, for one just how does one lure them out? ... Then if we do what are we to believe that only one of them would be lured out? ... Also if we do get one out, then we will use you ... " Cain would point at the man as he would emphasise his you. " As you know this place, as we will use your expertise in that where we can cause collateral damage where the people begin to change their minds in that instance ... Also what is there to say we might not get ambushed? .... Tccchhh "

" Either way we are screwed unless we use a lure one of ourselves and I don't mean you but instead of using yourself as a means but using say the commander of ours " which Leon would respond with " Are you out of your mind, the commander will kill it and we will lose our foot in by helping this human! "

Cain would stare at the floor trying to think of another possible solution then turn back to the man ... " Tell me is there a way to lure one of those machine's out though is there a way if we capture one you can reconfigure one to attack the citizen's .. ? " This was the only option to get the people to turn on the machines.

Leon would stare at the words coming out of his mouth ... " What is there to say that the Heph doesn't know of this and who is responsible ... "

Solomon, Velvet, and Marko side of things:

I would finish my drink and walk outside the pub and begin strolling towards back to the center of the island otherwise the town square. ' Hmm ... I need to inform that Nero of what's happened and I don't wanna linger her for far too long. Though the curiosity of me is getting to me to find out just happened here '

" Ermm Solomon, I'll be joining you though I'll take Marko with me and we will locate the two fools. We could also find out more about this place " as Marko would interrupt ... " Me?! " then laugh " We can then pummel them right? " with Velvet shaking her head at his response.

" Sure thing, though I wanna find out what happened here. But I wanna find out by a third party of what went on here "

CHAPTER 6
Another Time, Another Place

'Hmmm just who do I ask to get some answers here?' I would be looking moving my eyes left to right. Though before I would think any further something would catch my attention it would be something that would be vibrating though as it would vibrate it would echo a very familiar sound.

I'd sigh before reaching down to my right pocket pulling out a den den mushi. These den den mushi are means of communication as I would rest the portable den den mushi onto my left hand. I'll then answer the call which was followed by a "gacha" sound answering. " What is it? " I'll answer.

Though the other side wouldn't be heard, it went something along the lines that Solomon needed accessories. " Yeah, I don't have anything with me right now. But where are you? " which would be met with a murmur then I would reply with " Okay fine we're outta here and was it Kyuka Island where you will do the hand-over? "

Just as that the call was ended as I ended the call and placed the den den mushi back into my right-sided pocket. ' Kyuka Island, huh? Isn't that the island Link was talking about where he learned Rokushiki? ... Hmmm maybe I could go there too and learn it myself ... Well it's a win-win either way '

I'd close my eyes as I would then use my mind's eye or the third eye something reminiscent of using a sixth sense. All my surroundings would turn black, just highlighting the building than like a blackboard with chalk. The citizen's of Lemnos would pop up like sketches on a huge artboard. This was me detecting the presence of my own colleagues to inform them we are now heading out.
>Observation Haki: 100
I'd have Solomon use the Awareness variant of Observation Haki

1-100 Mastery: The user can sense anything within (Mastery x 2) meters of themselves when CoO is activated.

I have 100 mastery so 100 x 2 = 200, 200 meters

It wasn't long either as Velvet would spot me, noting I was using observation haki. She could tell I was using it the way I was stood still and eyes closed and not that far behind her was Marko.

I'd sensed where Leon and Cain were, I could tell by the way they appeared when I would use my observation haki. Cain would radiate a purple like a flare and Leon would have his flare in the color of a silver-grey color. I'd open my eyes and head towards their way.

" Velvet and Marko get back to the ship we changing our destination. I'll go fetch Cain and Leon. " Though before I could turn around Velvet was quicker to get in contact as she pulls out a den den immediately ringing them.

It didn't take long but we were all able to turn around and head to the shore and back to the ship.

" Solomon, we have reasons why we leaving here? ", Leon would ask as I would reply " Yeah we need to leave as we need to get our stash and then we will come back but it's us throwing one stone and hitting two birds "

" Anyways all of you set sail and let's make our way to Kyuka Island! "

The sudden departure of people who had just arrived left Proteus stunned. So stunned, in fact, he just sat there.

"That's it then," he mumbled to himself. "That bizarre mess has just turned me off my whole life's goal."

What's the point if no-one is able to witness me? I had just begun to consider this... now everything is thrown off.

It plagued him that such a matter bothered him to the extent that it did, but he could hardly wrap his head around it. There was nothing that could be done. He continued to sit there, wondering what the hades was going to come next.

- - -

Hephaestus' discussion had only wrought silence upon the room. No-one had an answer, nor even any suggestion. In exasperation, Hephaestus declared "Alright, fine! I suppose we do nothing then!"

With that, the meeting was adjourned.

- - -

The townspeople, though unsettled by events that had unfolded earlier that day, had no new information, and so carried about their day. The impact that Proteus' actions had was soon forgotten about in the everyday monotony of island life.

In summary, what started out as a plan for revolution ended in nothing. Not yet anyway...

Let's Synch with Link - Part I
An unusual encounter!
@Dream

Walking out of the grass and into the beginning of the volcano, a small individual would be making his way towards the top. Moving like a wild animal, the person was on his four limbs as he made his way. Grunting, right before releasing a large scream from the top of his lungs.

"WHERE ARE YOU ?!"

Exasperated, the man would stop all movement and just looked behind him. He seemed to be looking for something, but alas, all he saw was his foot print. Putting his head down, tears would be dropping from his face. It seemed that whatever he lost, had a huge impact on his emotion. Crying, the mysterious man started to walk again towards the top.
Until now, he walked in a path that was shrouded by shadows, but now he was going towards where all the light was, thus revealing his appearance.

The light created by the volcano and the sun, revealed him. He was a small, extremely thin and wiry person, with scrawny neck, pale skin, flat feet, long thin hands with clammy fingers, and large pale eyes that seemed to glow. Walking on his four limbs, the man started to mumble the same words over and over again, "My precious".

"We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little pirate. Wicked, tricksy, false!"
