The former admiral Zephyr launched several wind scythes toward Sasaki; but a skilled swordsman he is, they have all been deflected with such ease. Hence the follow-up attack. Mid-air, Z leverage the power of his battle smasher, the gravity, and the weight of his revenge. All these elements are present in a single punch, aiming to pluck out Sasaki's sense of justice. He would but respond with another set of slashes, far larger than his own Rankyakus.

Clashing against Sasaki's attack, the air space surrounding the two was jammed with spiraling and contradicting senses of justice if the Rear Admiral even has it in him. Wind blew in multiple directions and Hakis clashed and crackled like lightning and twigs. "You still have not answered my question, brat!", Z spoke before pushing his fist further only for the other two blitzed backward, escaping the onslaught of his hatred toward the Navy.

Z drew his inhaler and had a good deep intake. "Huff. Huff.", putting it back in his pocket, he spoke once more. "I have seen all darkness this world has offered."

As he recited those words, Sasaki was already channeling his inner demon and rolling it into his blades. And finally, he dashed forth the old man with an insane amount of speed and power. Knowing the devastation level of the attack, Z wouldn't withdraw, he would force a countermeasure.

"Raaaaaaah!!!" He imbued his Smasher with Haki and punched the air across only to unleash a compressed air projectile similar to a cannonball heading Sasaki. "Jugon!"

This is a very strong punch that is done at the same speed as Shigan, making it even more powerful.
10. Island Level

Neutralizing the attack before it could even reach him, Z would propel himself back to the enemy and would aim to land a decent hit to his stomach, fueled by Haki. "Tekkai Kenpo Don Poro!!"

10. Island Level

Meanwhile, Binz's sacrifice might have been the best he could do for it opened a portal so that Ain could send Tanya back in time, a worthless toddler. However, their enemy's speed and power are out of this world. Binz fell down like a roasted wood. Though still alive, he would be considered out of commission for the rest of the battle. Ain on the other hand was not successful in pulling off her magic, Tanya took the form of a malfunctioning machine that just exploded out of nowhere, engulfing the approaching lady Neo Navy. "Kyaaaaa!"

And just like that, she encountered the same fate his partner had. But before falling on her knees, "M-m-master Zed..."

Back in the ship, all the officers handling the Dyna Stones were all but defeated with a single attack coming from the Fishman. Now, only the neo navy fodders were left. Should they engage in battle or not, it's no longer important, Gen must decide whether to eliminate all the remaining enemies or confiscate the items.

They have been ordered way back then. "Worst comes to worst, expose the Dyna stone in the air and let fate decide our own fate."

And so it happened, one of the fallen officers who's still conscious broke the container open by slamming it onto the deck of the ship. "Damn you, Shark!"

3.......2.......1........ "BOOM"

It would only take 3 seconds before the Dyna Stone's particles conjunct with oxygen. And when it did, the immediate area surrounding the ship would be engulfed with a good 50-meter diameter explosion that could rival even the strongest cannon.

Zephyr and Sasaki clashed - the former coming down like a meteor while the latter unleashed a powerful flying slash. When Zephyr pushed through the flying slash and his Battle Smasher came crashing into the ground, Sasaki jumped, getting out of the way. Sasaki then entered a new stance for his Oni Giri technique, and charged toward Zephyr. The latter punched with enough strength to move air itself, and unleashed an air cannonball. Sasaki's three swords clashed with the air cannonball, and the two attacks cancelled one another. Zephyr roared, demanding that Sasaki answered his question, and then rushed at Sasaki, aiming to land a powerful Tekkai punch to Sasaki's stomach.

My justice huh? I guess you could call my justice pragmatic. Sorry old man...

Sasaki said. Sasaki adheres to Pragmatic Justice, and as such always adjusts his Justice based on the situation at hand and what he thinks would be the best and most practical solution. In this situation, due to the Neo Navy's extreme ways, the most pragmatic thing Sasaki could do, was just capture them for now, and then take it from there - hence Sasaki's apology to Zephyr. The old man would lose his twisted freedom on this day.

When Zephyr punched toward Sasaki's stomach, Sasaki used the blunt side of the katana in his left hand to block. Black Busou-shoku no Haki still coursed through all three of his katanas. Simultaneously to blocking with his left katana, Sasaki stabbed downward with his right katana, aiming to stab the katana through Zephyr's left foot and into the ground to prevent an escape.

Regardless of the success of his attack, Sasaki would follow up with his bare right hand. Letting go of the katana that he had stabbed into the ground, Sasaki's right fist would come hurling forward. Black Busou-shoku no Haki roared through the fist of Sasaki, and he aimed to slam his fist into Zephyr's face - a punch powerful enough to send the bulky man flying. Between the distraction of potentially getting his foot stabbed, as well as the surprise factor of a swordsman like Sasaki knowing Rokushiki and being able to punch, the chances of this connecting were high. The fact that Jugon was a punch with the speed of a bullet, helped as well.

JUGON...!

As Sasaki unleashed the surprise Jugon, Tanya, who was keeping an eye on their battle, thought to herself.

Oh? There's that shrewd side of his. He began copying Zephyr. But I bet the old man won't be able to realize it in time.

Tanya said, referring to the fact that they were Marines, so it wouldn't be unreasonable for Sasaki to know Rokushiki. Zephyr would not be able to know that Sasaki was copying him in real time.

Tanya's own battle was pretty much finished, with both Ain and the clown already having taken a lot of damage, as well as having gotten paralyzed. Tanya looked at them, and with a twisted grin on her face, she spoke.

Time to go to sleep, you two.

Tanya said, raising the palm of her free hand up at the sky. High up above, a grand cluster of lightning gathered. Then, swinging her hand downward, Tanya unleashed a powerful lightning dragon that descended from the skies, as if guided by her hand, and aimed to come crashing down onto Ain and the clown, engulfing them and the surrounding area. Traces of Black Busou-shoku no Haki tempered the lightning dragon, making it a creature of true might.

Much like its predecessors, the 30,000,000 Volt Thunder Bird (rank B) and the 60,000,000 Volt Thunder Dragon (rank A), the 100,000,000 Volt Kirin unleashes a massive mythical creature made out of lightning, aiming to engulf the opponent. Rank S.

Tanya's dominant performance was a contrast to the situation on Gin's end. He managed to defeat the Neo Navy soldiers almost instantly, however unfortunately for him, there was a problem. One of the surviving soldiers broke open a container that contained a Dyna Stone. Roaring and cursing the fishman, the soldier activated the Dyna Stone, allowing oxygen to flow to it. Gen's eyes widened in shock and he quickly entered a stance. Black Busou-shoku no Haki armored his entire body and he clenched his fists. As the Dyna Stone exploded, Gen pointed both of his fists toward the incoming shockwave. From his fists, he unleashed the strongest Rokushiki technique.

Rokushiki Ogi: Rokuogan...!

Gen's Rokuougan collided with the edge of the Dyna Stone shockwave that was spreading outward. The clash lasted momentarily, though the Dyna Stone managed to overpower Gen's attack, and engulfed the whole ship. From the resulting cloud of obscurity, Gen's body was seen flying through the air, and he came crashing into the water. When the water settled, Gen was seen floating on the surface on his back. Black Busou-shoku no Haki faded from all over his body. His body had scratches and burn marks all over, but he was alive. Between his Rokuougan neutralizing some of the Dyna Stone's power, as well as the black Busou-shoku no Haki that clad all of Gen's body, and the Tekkai that he had activated, he was able to survive, though he was out of the fight at this point. Looking up at the air through his underwater goggles, Gen sighed and spoke.

That came out of nowhere... but it's fine. Sasaki-san will wrap things up, and the mission will be done. I'll rest for now.

Tanya dealt a decisive strike upon Binz and Ain, two of Z's trusted lieutenants. Having been knocked down by the cluster of lightning, it seemed that it's over for them. However, the logia user would resort to something different, or perhaps conduct of dishonor to the already fallen foes. A massive stream of lightning fashioned in the sky while traces of Black Haki spiraled around the substance before it descended upon the two Neo Navies. The very ground was engulfed with the devastating attack and the night turned to a hot afternoon for several seconds. During those moments, the earth shattered as bricks rammed by a sledgehammer. And clouds of dust were all around the immediate area of effect. And when it cleared, the lifeless bodies of the brave Neo soldiers lied. All but burnt.

"Huh?!", Z reacted amidst his battle with Sasaki and seemingly partially dropping his guard down as the other blocked his punch while preparing for a response. "Grrr".

Z looked back at the time when he was still serving the marines. He was originally a happy and loving person. Full of life and enthusiasm. Always thinking for the welfare of his comrades. And so he was tasked as an instructor for the aspiring cadets. Once popular admiral among his subordinates had a loving family but all of this had changed for the worse when his wife and son were murdered by a pirate.

"Gyaaaaaaaah!!!", he wailed to death. A scream of helplessness and despair.

He never stopped. He was still a devoted marine, offered his life for the so-called justice. Until...

"We are under attack!!!", one marine reported.

Former Admiral Zephyr was accompanied by his cadets when a group of pirates attacked their vessel. When the battle concluded. Zephyr was crying to the heavens under the storm as he witnessed how the pirates eradicated his entire fleet but two of his cadets, Binz and Ain. All bloodied. They were humiliated. But Zephyr was crushed down to the depths of hell. His right arm was severed by the enemy which would be later on be invited to the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Such loss and injustice led to a deep hatred towards pirates, and after he left the Marines he formed a group to take matters into his own hands and annihilate them all, even if it also meant opposing the World Government and the Marines. His hatred led to irrational acts such as plotting to destroy the New World to eradicate his enemies at the cost of countless innocent lives. And so here we are now.

"Binz... Ain...", he uttered under his breath as he looked back at Sasaki who had just poked his katana right after he deflected his punch down to his right foot. This attack woke him up but it was too late to recover from his reminiscing as the Samurai would deliver what he just did a while ago. His pupils narrowed and seemed to flee from the expanding whites of his eyes. He would encounter a sturdy rolling fist of pragmatic justice.

Sasaki's fist plundered Z's face, tearing some tendons inside his nose, making it bled in the process before being sent flying dozens of meters away until finally crushing to a formation of rocks on the shore, pulverizing it entirely off the impact. He almost passed out due to the force of the attack but perhaps it was his determination that kept him alive.

Staggering as he tried to rise up from the ground, he would reach for a Dyna Stone placed by his soldiers around the battlefield. "All my... All my soldiers are gone... I shall drag each of you to the last grain of sands on this island."

DYNASTONE!!!

Sasaki should have dashed forth him as he dealt the attack, but it appeared that his confidence would drag him down. Staring at his opponent, Z said.

"The power of the Dyna Stones is said to rival an ancient weapon. It reacts to oxygen and detonates like thousands of bombs!!! Inside that facility remains dozens of this still, ready to explode the moment I threw this!!!"

Z crashed the container of Dyna Stone before throwing it high up in the air. What will happen next will decide the fate of these warriors embracing different forms of justice in their souls.

"Wahahahahahaha!!!", he blatantly laughed as the substance finally detonated.

Sasaki successfully stabbed Zephyr's foot, preventing him from escaping. Then, with a well-timed and a surprising choice, Sasaki let go of the katana that he had stabbed into Zephyr's foot and into the ground, and then unleashed a powerful, black Busou-shoku no Haki imbued Jugon straight into Zephyr's face, sending him flying. When Zephyr came skidding across the ground, he came to a stop close to one of the containers that contained a Dyna Stone. Sasaki's eyes widened as he immediately realized what was going on. Loudly, he called onto Tanya, who had been watching Sasaki's fight with Zephyr, and also knew immediately what was about to happen.

TANYA, GET READY!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME...

Sasaki said and Tanya responded. Simultaneously, both Marines acted. Tanya transformed into her strongest form - Amaru, a God of Lightning. When Zephyr threw the Dyna Stone high up into the air, Tanya shot up like a bolt of lightning. Using the speed of lightning, Tanya grabbed onto the Dyna Stone and blitzed higher up, gaining great distance in a matter of instants. And then it happened.

Boom.

The Dyna Stone erupted, unleashing a massive explosion like none other. It happened high up in the sky, significantly higher up than Zephyr had anticipated, thanks to Tanya's actions. However, the sheer size of the explosion would still cause it to reach the island down below, albeit with much less power. That was where Sasaki came in. Wielding his three katanas, imbued with black Busou-shoku no Haki, he swung all three. Between Sasaki's immense mastery of swordsmanship, as well as the fact that he was using three of the strongest swords in the world, he unleashed a powerful technique. The explosion that was coming down toward the island was suddenly cut by six incredibly powerful and large slashes, dispersing it.

Santoryu Ogi: Rokudo no Tsuji...!

As the madness of the Dyna Stone was going on, and capitalizing on the obscurity caused by it all, both Tanya and Sasaki, with Kenbun-shoku no Haki active, appeared behind and in front of Zephyr. Behind him was Tanya, standing in her Amaru form. In front of Zephyr was Sasaki, standing in his Asura form - three heads, three tails, nine arms, nine swords. The palm of Tanya's lightning hand was ready to touch Zephyr's back at any time, and the nine swords of Sasaki were at Zephyr's neck.

Checkmate, sensei.

When the Former Admiral Zephyr threw the Dynastone high above, he didn't expect that Tanya was already on alert mode. Capitalizing on her devil fruit power, lightning logia, she took the form of its natural substance before shooting herself way up in the air, catching the stone before it detonated, and drove it far higher to avoid massive destruction that would allow the volcano and even the other Dynastone scattered everywhere. And it exploded but most of it occurred in the sky. The remnants of it were then minced by Sasaki's overwhelming power. A power that he once had.

Z was tired. He already inhaled his last nebulizer earlier. He's got no stock. With plodding movements and slouch posture, the old instructor was breathing hard. He looked at the dark sky and removed his glasses. He's got clouded thoughts but crystal clear memories, he looked back.

He remembered the days he was training the now current admirals, Aokiji, Borsalino, and Sakazuki. He also had a glimpse of some of the strongest vice-admirals. It made him smile.

Back in the HQ, Garp was lecturing the other marines about Zephyr and how he turned to be like that. A certain incident that took his arm and students. He was not young enough to be instructed by Z but he respected him and looked up to him as an example of bravery and justice.

"His legacy remained in all our hearts, whatever path he chose. Even I respected him a lot. Perhaps, all of us and even the pirates have their own sense of justice. It is the manner of how you execute justice. He took it into his own hands.", Garp said.

Elsewhere, Aokiji was standing on a cliff of a mountain, seemed thinking about the past. He was holding a bottle of beer. His master's favorite.

Sakazuki was seen standing on a terrace inside the HQ alone. Thinking about his master and how dismayed he is for betraying the marines. But even so, he could not take the mission to stop him. He just wouldn't. He still respected him.

Borsalino on the other hand was poking Sengoku, "You should have sent me there instead... I want to bid farewell to master..."

The fleet admiral simply stared back at him. "Let them handle this."

Back at the present, Sasaki and Tanya both blitzed past the distance between them and Z. The former appearing in front of him with all his blades pointed at his neck. The latter, in her strongest form, was ready to channel a mighty execution at his back.

"Checkmate?", he said, chuckling. "Hahahaha. We have not won anything since the day Roger died. My death will only be tiny glitter that will vanish without nobody noticing it."

Z held one of the blades of the Katana being pointed at him, letting his left palm bleed. "I have seen it all. I wanted to make a New Justice system."

Pressing the blade even harder, he continued, "Now let Sensei give you one last lesson."

Holding the katana, whether Sasaki would let go and betray his honor as a samurai, he would try to swing him down to the ground while projecting his Smasher made of sea stone at his back to try to hit Tanya. If the two marines would take advantage of his declining speed, Z would continuously tank their attacks by trying to block it or let his full body hardened body absorb all of the attacks. He would keep on throwing punches and max out the ammunition held by his weapon. It's all or nothing.

I know it's like controlling Sasaki but let us just play it that way like he was distracted that's why he was able to hold your katana.

Having dealt with the Dyna Stone explosion, Sasaki and Tanya went in for the win. Tanya, in her godly Amaru form, appeared behind Zephyr, while Sasaki, in his otherworldly Ashura form, appeared in front of Zephyr. Had they attacked, they would have perhaps ended the battle then and there, but there was still respect that Zephyr commanded in the ranks of Marines - especially those that knew him, or those that knew of him and his heroic exploits of the past. It was those things that prevented Sasaki and Tanya from finishing Zephyr off decisively.

And so, the old man made use of that. Grabbing hold of one of Sasaki's katanas, Zephyr threw Sasaki to the ground. He then attacked Tanya with his Battle Smasher. Making use of her speed, Tanya, who was now all lightning, moved away with great speed, ending up a good thirty meters away from Zephyr. Sasaki took that opportunity of Zephyr attacking Tanya, to back away as well, having let go of his own katana and left it with Zephyr. At that moment, both Sasaki, who clenched his remaining katanas in his hand and teeth, and Tanya, whose body crackled powerfully with lightning, attempted a counterattack.

However, before they could do so, a crimson light suddenly appeared above the battlefield. The temperature started to rise rapidly, sweat started to roll down the skin of every individual present, and if everyone looked up at the sky, they would see a literal small sun above them. Within that Entei-sized sun, there was a silhouette, floating, powerful, commanding, intense. The silhouette started to float out of the Entei, appearing.

L-Leo...

Sasaki said, recognizing the man. Tanya in her form was called Amaru. Leo, in his form, was Amaterasu. As he descended, the temperature continued to rise. With every passing centimeter that he approached the ground, everyone would feel like they were nearing a volcano. And then he landed. The soil melted under his feet, and Leo, in his Amaterasu form, started to walk forward toward Zephyr. He stopped a good ten meters away.

Zephyr-sensei. I have come to put an end to this. I ask that you let the next generation bring Justice to this world.

Leo said, his voice booming and powerful. The Entei continued to float above the battlefield, like a miniature sun at Leo's command.

The two marines in front of him might have been able to deal, albeit just in time with the DynaStones but they have not defeated Zephyr's overwhelming twisted and vengeful justice just yet. When Sasaki pointed his blade against him, presuming he'd concede, the old master grabbed the blade itself, making his own palm bleed in the process. After a series of talks which he expected the younger soldiers would contemplate about and perhaps just maybe, change the course of their own senses of justice.

Pressing the blade even harder, he continued, "Now let Sensei give you one last lesson."

Z slammed Sasaki onto the earth, the latter letting go of his katana. The former grinned before swinging his battle smasher aback, hoping to his Tanya. But the logia user is just too fast even for his aging eyesight. He would mock the two at the same time they gathered themselves back from a distance and with their grand battle stance.

"A samurai letting go of his blade?! Roshi, wherever he is will feel nothing but DISGRACE, Sasaki!". Z said, mentioning an old friend in the past, the samurai's mentor.

"And you logia, it seems to me that, just like Borsalino, you rely too much on your devil fruit power. Hahahahaha!"

The old neo admiral would exhale and inhale deeply and heavily, signifying how troubled his lungs were at that moment.

"If you want me to surrender, COME! Give it all you got, brats!"

And then the two would give him what he was looking for as they started to pose in a dashing fashion. However, "Huh???"

Z felt a strong presence in the sky. It was floating in the air just like an angry ball of fire at night. It was so bright and perhaps, Z might have regretted throwing away his shades. He grinned once more, recognizing the figure. And finally, it came to descend to the battlefield. And with every inch of space, it devoured, so as the temperature rose to another level of threat. Scorching heat would be felt every time it got nearer but at last, he came to stop a few good meters away from the tired old man.

With his current health condition, the suffocating presence of the Vice-Admiral that could rival even the strongest of the Admirals would make Z further incur difficulties breathing. But they are at war. He believed in justice reform. And he believed that he's the messenger of this resolve.

"Roshi's most gifted successor.", acknowledging his presence.

He would respond to Leonard Burns' arrest but with conviction and honor. Dispute and resolute.

"You all are dogs of this foul resonance of evil kind. How can you bring forth justice? Leo!!!??", he roared like a mad lion contested by a pack of alpha males for the title of the lion king.

And he charged forward! Infusing his Smasher with all of the might he could have harnessed from his dying body. The culmination of willpower of the entire Neo Navy. His vengeful spirit, leaving residues of Haki as they intertwined around his body and his weapon. And finally, his crestfallen heart that would continue to wail through all of eternity. All these emotions would solidify his body and magnify the force of his last resort.

"Smash, Rokuogan!!!"

Z catapulted himself toward Leo, giving all he got at that very moment. Hoping that he would awaken the lost souls of this generation, pawned by the ever-controlling government of the world. Dashing forth, he roared. And finally, he swung his right arm across the air with a low whistling sound that plowed his path and leaving pulverized soil on his wake. With that punch, massive energy would burst forward, capable of damaging the insides of the unfortunate target. Shockwave that seemed cracking even the air space as it exploded off the punch.

Rokushiki Ogi: Rokuogan
Requirements: 81 Mastery, 81 Strength, 81 Armament Haki

This is the ultimate Rokushiki technique that can damage an opponent internally, similar to the Impact Dial, or of equal or more strength to the Reject Dial, but the technique is considered to be much more powerful and can be performed without the side effect of great pain to the user. It appears to be two fists held at close range that can damage the opponent with a blast powerful enough to cause even Luffy to cough up blood and come close to death.

Vice Admiral Leo descended from the sky in the form of Amaterasu, the God of Fire - and up above him, Entei, the Sun God. The sheer size of the Entei, as well as the immense heat given off by Amaterasu, intensely raised the temperature in the area. Everyone's skin would start to feel like it was burning, and the very ground upon which Leo landed melted and turned into molten rock. Stopping a few meters away from his senior, Leo spoke to Zephyr, stating that it was time for the new generation to take over and uphold justice.

Expectedly, Zephyr had a problem with that notion, questioning angrily how it was that they intended to do just that. Leo was quick to answer, devoid of doubt.

Sit back and watch.

Leo said. For a man of fire, Leo was surprisingly not too hotblooded. He was not willing to engage in a back and forth of ideologies. He would let results speak for him. As Zephyr tensed his muscles and inhaled a deep breath to fill his failing lungs, Leo, too, got ready, raising the palms of his hands and absorbing the whole Entei that was above him, into his fists. The two men dashed toward one another and met in the middle for a final clash of raw Marine power. Zephyr threw his massive Battle Smasher forward in the form of a grand Rokuougan, while Leo threw both of his fists, imbued with black Busou-shoku no Haki, forward in the form of a double-fisted punch. A double-fisted punch that any Marine would recognize.

Hiken Rokuougan...!

DPR: 120: 7. Town Level + Z:+6 + COA: +2 = 15. Moon Level

Hiken Rokuougan:
Combining the principles of the Mera Mera no Mi's Entei and Rokushiki's Rokuougan, Leo compresses a whole Entei into the palm of his hand and then slams it into the target with all of his might while unleashing a Rokuougan. This results in an absolutely massive blast of fire and shockwave, and makes for Leo's strongest attack. Rank Z. Severe burn.

Before the two men could even make physical contact, a clash of epic proportions happened. Haki for Haki, Rokuougan for Rokuougan - but Leo was more powerful, and a compressed Entei erupted forth on top, unleashing a monstrous blast of shockwave and fire. The blast would overpower Zephyr's attack and engulf him, inflicting severe burns. Leo stood tall and unrelenting, observing the effects of his attack. Would Zephyr stand again, or would the old man finally give in? He had to make that decision, with Amaterasu standing right before him, in his prime and powerful.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines, Sasaki was observing the clash sharply, analyzing the two Rokuougans. His monkey tail wiggled playfully as he nodded.

Nice nice... I'll take that one too.

Sasaki said as a drop of sweat rolled down the back of Tanya's head.

The End of an Era

Leo emerged in the sky, shining like a mad star. What would transpire next would be one of the pinnacles of a maritime battleground. The fierce Vice-Admiral descended, trailing him was a ball of exploding fire. Meeting the ground, the flame bursting out his body would melt the very earth he was on. And after a brief recognition between the two powerhouses, a clash would erupt.

Zephyr blitzed forward Leo, harnessing all his might, vengeance, and willpower into one mad roaring fist that has been holding on to spur its undying will to eradicate what he believed is evil - Marines, World Government, Pirates. Traces of overwhelming Haki would triumphant his right arm as he dashed forth. And closing in his attacking distance, the fist would evolve into a spring of cannonballs, raging, manifesting shockwaves of death. Leo on the other end would unleash a combination of the Six Forms and his Flame Power. Ramifying ember and madness all into one. And finally, the two horses met.

The air space between the two strong warriors was engulfed by an omnidirectional wind blast, pulverizing a huge mass of earth underneath. Crater as massive as a warship started to form while cubes of rocks scattered everywhere. The deafening sound of vibrations and explosions would be heard across the island.

Z's attack would try to dismember Leo's but apparently, the younger marine's power has already surpassed his at this point. He would continue to struggle. He would voice out.

"Such power!!! Tell me... Leooooo!!! What do you fight for? What is your sense of justice?"

The moment he concluded his reaching, he would begin to feel Leo's wrath bursting forward. The shockwave was something he could have still defended against but the flame surrounding him did its part. Every moment he tried to push, his lungs would give up twice his life.

"RAAAAAAAHH!!!"

When Leo's fist broke through his own, it rammed his body like a mammoth to a boulder. But no matter how sturdy that boulder was, the raging river and storm magnified its strength and dealt a finishing blow. Z's body felt the connection not only of his fist but the bond that he cherished once in the organization. Flashes of memoirs about his childhood where he played the hero, his journey with the marines where he created a hero, and his final battle with the soon to be - Marine Hero.

Alas, his final roar would be followed by his foe's ultimate attack. An attack that would impale even the void between them. A void that has been lingering inside his soul. A soul that has been lost in vengeance. A vengeance that would meet his end. An end of an era. An era that would soon be conquered by the neo. Neo Navy, Zephyr, and all of the remnants of his legacy, all at once - gone.

Old Justice and New Justice clashed ferociously. Rokuougan for Rokuougan, but Leo's Entei, compressed into the palm of his hand, overwhelmed the former Admiral Zephyr. As the two powers pushed for dominance, Zephyr roared, questioning Leo's Justice. Leo's answer came immediately, as if this was a question that he had been asked many times before, and he had answered many times before.

Absolute Justice.

Leo said, his attack overwhelming and engulfing Zephyr. As the obscurity from the last clash cleared, Leo was seen standing, his attacking arm hanging limp by the side of his body. His former mentor had been defeated, but based on the look on his face, Leo wasn't happy. It was as if the last answer he had given to his former mentor, was an answer that Leo himself doubted. Ever since the reappearance of Roshi, Leo had been contemplating his own sense of Justice. Were all Marines really good, and all pirates evil? What about a man like Zephyr, who went from one end of the spectrum to the other?

Leo's sense of Justice seemed to be evolving, and his clash with his former mentor expedited that process. Where that would lead, was anyone's guess. But for now, the battle against the Neo Navy was over. Gen, who had been laying in the water, looking up at the sky, came out of the water. He joined Sasaki and Tanya, and the three join Leo.

Impressive as usual.

Tsch... I didn't get to do much this time.

I think tanking a Dyna Stone counts as doing something.

The three said. Now it was time for Zephyr, Ain and the clown to be taken in. The remaining Dyna Stones would be confiscated and brought to safety. There was not much time... for before coming to see his mentor for one last time, Leo had already found out about his next mission. And it was a big one.

『 The Wanderer - Episode 1 』

It was only a few days ago when a report of the Neo Navy were in the midst of some stirring. It was around that time where i had defeated most of the important figures of the Orc Pirates, sentencing them to a life of solitude as punishment for their heinous crimes. Now my target was the Neo Navy, no longer with the captain and ex-admiral Zephyr leading them.

Amongst those who stood on the deck, the crewmen stationed scurrying around operating the ship as it edged in the rough waves of the grand line. Though myself and three others were upon the deck, as i rested with my arms behind my back as Cu rested on the side with his spear resting against the wall beside him. Velvet was sat on the stairs as she looked onwards, still feeling some distaste for taking a life. Amongst us was someone new, spinning his daggers in his hand then walking in the centre of the deck. " Let's get the party started, lets hunt them! " which would alert us and bring a smile out of all of us minus Velvet.

I'd stand up and noting Velvet was still feeling down " Velvet get your game face for this as i need you ... we need you ... so you taking a life was for our sake. " which would bring some relief in her momentarily as she gave off a faint smile and rose to her feet sheathing her sword.

Cu would approach the centre " I like this guy and now we under this Strike Hawk Unit thingy mabob. As Purgatory ranked soldiers we have right to kill all those on board. Is that correct. Watanabe-kun? " which would bring some irritation out of Velvet but she knew she was selected for this voyage for something in specific.

" Aye, Galore Link, what do you say? ... Annihilate as we see? " he'd ask as i respond with a smile. " Yeah, everyone else look after the ship. "

The moon was obscured by heavy dark clouds this night, and the sound of the waves could be heard as they gently broke against the ships passing. But it was anything but dark, for the light of burning ships made it bright as day, for the Neo Navy were still very much active even without their great leader among them.

On the ship at the front of the armada sat a man and a woman in companionable sorrow. Neo Navy officer Binz uncharacteristically took a swig from a bottle filled with clear liquid before wiping his mouth. Ain, the Neo Navy vice admiral, shot him a heated glare, but the words died on her lips as she winced in pain before grabbing her shoulder. Binz sighed before asking, "still painful?" in a concerned voice.

Ain's voice was hoarse as she whispered, "only when it is cold." Although her voice was somewhat strained, she would have to wrap her shoulder in a warm towel tonight, or the shoulder would be worse tomorrow. Taking another swig, Binz hesitantly asked, "Do you think he's alright? Do you think he is still out there somewhere?" Ain's eyes became sharp, and even though her lips trembled ever so slightly, her voice was firm as she said, "he has to be Binz, he has to be."

Binz cast his eyes toward the door leading to the cabins, for he knew that in Ain's room, locked in a chest, was another Dyna Stone they had managed to find.

Even if they didn't know where their Sensei was, they would still carry his dream in their hearts.

Despite the three agreeing to give no mercy to their next target they would meet, only i knew who we was truly dealing with or the targets in this case. The others had no idea and preferred they did not know the context, which i had to keep myself in this case. Velvet i could trust with such information was slightly on edge of the events where she had to take a soul which was still causing her grief. So that had to cross her name off the list for me to inform. Then came Cu, he was heartless and viscious by name and by actions. But he had the tendency of blurting out the plan so i couldn't inform him. Then finally came Watanabe, a newbie to me and had little trust in him and his abilities for after all we was all new to one another. But instead i knew i had to open up a little in getting them prepared for war yet again at sea.

" Just a quick one, our next targets have lost a head so the plan is we reign them in got it ... I hereby as your surperior officer prohibit any lives to be taken unless its one that poses a threat to us. " as the others listened on in our little circle they all had some words to say.

" Who is it? " Cu would respond with Velvet looking on as she stayed mute whereas Watanabe would respond " Either way a target is a target they must be of our one true focus. We eradicate and exterminate them whilst they run around like headless chicken "

" Either way lets prepare a plan, i don't like the plan for fucks sake. So i'm in " Velvet would say begrudgingly.

Hearing them speak had me open up a little then blurt out our targets name, though their feelings on the matter had brought a smile within. " Our targets are the remnants of the Neo Navy. Ex-Admiral Zephyr's squad and i am mainly looking to apprehend Binz. I'll trust that target in your hands Cu. So Velvet i want you to take out the one who calls herself Ain as me and Watanabe clear the path for you two. "

Just as we had began to plan our next move a ship could be sighted coated in the blanket of the darkness of the night sky. " SHIP! " would echo with the words " IT'S THE NEO NAVIES SIR! "

Post 2 Calamity draws near

Ain and Binz's conversation halted as the hulking steps of the Shiro Pacifista drew near, reminding them that they weren't alone on the ship but surrounded by an army of Neo Navy marines. Two thousand they numbered, milling about on the boat like diligent worker ants with the same single-minded focus to complete every necessary task. Ain straightened her back while forcing the melancholy expression to vanish like a bad dream. Once again, she sat there, proud, aloof, and vital for the benefit of the crew she led. Meanwhile, Binz put down the flask he'd been using as a crutch, but he scrutinized his superior as he thought to himself, something isn't right.

In a whisper, to not get overheard, he gently asked Ain, "given what we've gone through as of late, your hidden exhaustion makes sense, but is there more to it?"

Ain fixed him with a ferocious glare as she sat there imperiously, seeming more than merely human, but they had known each other too long, been through too much. For the briefest of moments, the bone-deep weariness was plain for all to see as she said in a tired tone, "I barely turn off my observation haki anymore. I can barely sleep; it feels like there is a shadow hanging over us; I keep looking over my shoulder expecting something great and terrible to stare back at me." Binz merely nodded his head; he knew the feeling all too well.

Unknown to either of them or the rest of the Neo Navy, a calamity drew ever closer; either they would escape with their tails between their legs or be annihilated.

The ship was sighted though, seeing as this was no other chance to point this. The plan finally was finally revealed, it was a brief one due the sighting of the ship so was speed through'd. " Seeing as the captain has gone down but the ship remains. Its clearly evident that they will be looking for revenge, especially the marines. " both Velvet and Watanbe would state as if a brain wave length came to the two tacticians.

With Cu then intervening " I see even a headless beast without the King, is a bunch of headless chicken who'd point their swords at anyone that looks like the king killers " with the others noting despite his personality of a beast he still had brains behind the madness.

" Here's the plan, i will be the bait to lure them to me as i get you guys doing your jobs okay " i'd state with none of them having any obligations to the plan.

Now came the sound of attack or was we going to wait for it? ... I'd make my way to the forefront of the ships head " Everyone get to your positions and prepare for the worst. " as i'd stare at the White Tiger in the distance with the cloudy weather and droplets falling from the heavens.

One of the fodders of the Neo Navy had this nagging feeling in the depths of his stomach, something was wrong, but he could not spot where it came from in this darkness. The burning wreckage they had caused had been left behind long ago, and the moon was still obscured by the heavy clouds that couldn't decide whether to disperse or flood the night with rain. Calling several of his crewmates, he explained the sensation to them, and they agreed with his gut feeling, but they had the same problem as he had; mainly, they couldn't see a damn thing.

None had the heart to call over their commanders; they had all noticed the gloomy mood that had hung over them for quite some time. But, of course, this was a grave error in judgment for all of them. Still, several had managed to spot the bottle of alcohol that Binz had been using as a crutch, even though he had tried to hide it, and Ain's exhausting could sometimes be spotted in the slump of her shoulders when she thought nobody was looking.

Being without their great leader had been taxing the whole of Neo Navy. It was easier to spot with the commanders since the lesser crewmates could somehow function as long as the hierarchy didn't collapse entirely; they were all determined to push forward until the day Z came back to them with another grand vision where his extraordinary charisma would have them all starstruck.

And ever still, as tragedy drew closer, the dream of the Neo Navy would never be realized.

The clouds above began to darken, like someone threw a dark cloth covering the skies, cut with some holes and leaks in the skies. Rumbling began to be heard as a sign of a storm was on its way. Droplets began to fall from the skies, as an event that transpired elsewhere with the heavens in despair.

Cu had also made his preparation as Velvet appeared asking him " Cu are you okay? you did get injected by something when we was against them Orc Pirates. " ... Cu scoffed it off and replied " I am good, though if i show any means of weakness you have order to take me out got it? " he'd reply should any signs from the injection taken whilst his confrontation with Shion should slow them down.

Watanabe who'd observe would go back inside and knock on the door " It's me Watanabe, i have a quick word. We might need your assistance if we are in trouble. I'll leave that with you as i head back on deck "

A few minutes had gone by as the ship crawled closer to the main ship of the Neo Navy. A crewman appeared from behind me scurrying asking if i would venture to rendezvous with the target or will the battle take on ship. " Don't worry, they appear to have just docked to the island too. " ... Leaving the crewman confused at first as he understood what i'd said as he then pondered back to his duties.

Stretching as a crack of bones as i grew a little tired with a yawn wanting to get the party started, noting rocky terrain around the small land that was used to dock by the Neo Navies. " It's time i played bait to get their attention away from here. .... SORU! "

Using the elevation of propulsion by kicking from the rocky terrain as i ventured around to meet the Neo Navies head on, though what i would see would be ...

The crew of the Neo Navy breathed a sigh of relief when they spotted the island they would spend the night. Binz groaned as he got to his feet, joints popping audibly as he stretched. Cheers could be heard from the crew, it had been a long time since they had stepped foot on land, and after the latest adventure, they very much looked forward to celebrating and then relaxing.

Binz forced a smile for the benefit of his subordinates, but it faded quickly as melancholy hit him again. It was just this nagging fear that they weren't at their best right now. The absence of Zephyr loomed over them all, and it just didn't feel right.

Ain came out onto the deck again, and Binz didn't need to look to know what she had been doing. There was simply no way in hell either of them would ever leave their precious weapon on the ship if they weren't both present. Soon they would dock the boat and disembark.

Launching myself from the rocky terrain, with the windy gales from above that would breeze through me. The aim was simple, yet how affective it would be would be one to know and see. The aim to distract the main forces was fully in motion, was the opposition going to take the bait was now the only thing left to see. I could spot from a distance looking down spotting the members of the Neo Navy coming out in their dozens, with some others coming out which would shock me.

Using this chance to begin the distraction i'd swivel then launch a kick at the ship " Operation Royal Flush ... RANKYUAKU! " the aim was simple to attack the members who were coming out and taking them out. Thus bringing out my true targets luring them out in the open.

Meanwhile on the ship Watanabe would notice the projectile then turn back to Velvet and Cu " It's begun so lets make our move now too " smirking.

The night had been quiet, peaceful up until this point. But that would change now. Ain, who had kept her Awareness, haki constantly active and noticed the moment the enemy entered her range. Panic flooded her; it hadn't been that long since they were attacked precisely like this. From a distance and without prior knowledge of its arrival. "Enemy attack!" That was all she took the time to shout before she kicked off the ship using Soru and flew towards the massive attack leveled by Link.

Knowing that she could match the attack in neither power nor speed, she fired off the first thing that came into her mind, a basic Rankyuaku filled with invisible haki. Her attack sped toward the vastly superior version threatening the Neo Navy. The attacks met, but the enemy attack barely slowed down. Seeing that it was almost upon her, Ain crossed her arms to try and protect herself as much as possible. Unfortunately, the attack knocked her down from the air, and she landed upon the deck with a crash of shattered floorboards, feeling the old wound in her shoulder throb immensely, but she wasn't out of the fight yet.

Binz, having caught the Dyna Stone when Ain dropped it, shouted, "Who are you!?"
