The title was apt. This was indeed an ULTIMATE chapter!!!

So much info to be processed, can't even sleep.

The bounties were all within my expectations. I was expecting 5B for Kaido though. That Whitebeard's and Roger's bounty bonus was an epic treat for us

My man Garp and Roger fought alongside each other??? Wow!! Now tell me, who could've ever predicted that? God's valley island sounds like a place with a terrible secret which I'd love to ponder about.


Another interesting detail is that Shanks was made Yonko only 6 years ago. Many people were expecting him to have been a Yonko much earlier and use that to place Mihawk as Yonko level. That needs to be reevaluated now.

Rocks being a D wasn't a surprise for me honestly. I expected that the person who led a crew of monsters like Kaido, Big Mom, Shiki, WB, etc. may very well be a D.

And lastly, the first clue to Vegapunk's new creating, SSG. That seems like an abbreviation that we can try to break down.



Oh, and btw, that last page was interesting. What about Wano, Kozuki Oden was Sengoku hinting? And are the marines really not gonna visit Wano with BM and Kaido forming an alliance that could seriously thrraten them? I think they will find the SSG effective enough to allow them to send a small team to investigate.


This chapter was insane. The only thing that could've made it even more hype is off they died Ryokugyu this chapter but that would be overkill ?

The hype is reaching the pressure limit.... something's gonna blow soon, I can feel it!

Will Drake now rise in his marine career? Or will he end up betraying the navy for real? We dont know a shit tbh. But we really need more navy fighters for EoS that rivalize the current pirates.

My current theory will be about alliances. And each chapter right now drops much new intel damn....

I'm glad that Oda wasn't just throwing random numbers with the bounties, makes sense that there isn't much difference at the top.
It seems that the suspicions regarding Oden serving as Whitebeard's second commander are true.

I still can't believe this chapter revealed the bounties for the Yonko's along with the former bounties of both Whitebeard and Roger, and on top of the bounty reveal we got more information about Rocks. It's crazy to think that Rocks could lead three characters that would later on become Yonko's and other than Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido, even Shiki and Captain John were part of the crew.

There is another connection that needs to be addressed, Teach & Rocks are heavily related
First of all both are D. and secondly both are Chaotic D.
Blackbeard's Ship is named "Saber of Xebec" and he is ruling in Pirate Island (Same place where Rocks was formed)
His Goal seems similar to Rocks and the way he collected Strong Crew Members is also similar
We can make Theories about Rocks = Teach or Rocks living inside of Teach or something like that but for now let's just say there is a Connection

I hope it's nothing more than inherited will. I mean it's a big theme in the manga, and we have Luffy having inherited Roger's will and being the person Roger is waiting for. BB having inherited Rocks's will, Roger's "most formidable rival" and also a D., would add-on the parallels between Luffy and Blackbeard.

Maybe Rocks had the Yami Yami No Mi back in the days.

BB might be the inherted will of Rock D. Xebec while Luffy is that of Gol D.Roger. According to the MS translation, Xebec was perhaps Roger's greatest enemy. From the moment Teach and Luffy first met at Jaya, there's this feeling that those two no matter what happens will never get along. From petty stuff like the pies and rum to the extremely personal like the Banaro Incident, there's always going to be something that'll set those two off against each other. It's like fate has destined them to destroy each other--no turning back, no redemption of any kind. Perhaps Xebec and Roger also has the same dynamics in terms of their relationship. Maybe reincarnation does exist in OP. After their deaths, perhaps the souls of Xebec and Roger were searching for the perfect vessels in order for them to resume their bitter rivalry kinda like Ashura and Indra of Naruto. Somethings gotta give though eventually. Also great to see that Fuji didn't had it easy--the Revs did actually put up a fight although it's a bummer that no update was given regarding their current status and it feels like we'll be back in Wano next chapter. Another 10 months of wait on my part...hard times for Rev Army fans.

- Blackbeard's ship is called Saber of Xebec, Rocks D. Xebec had a saber in that silhouette
- Blackbeard's base is at Fullalead Island, where the Rocks began
- Sengoku mentions knowledge of Rocks has been wiped, knowledge of Level 6 prisoners now in Blackbeard's crew has also been wiped
- Shiki being in the Rocks, his battle with Roger at Edd War could have been a revenge battle
- Roger's bounty is 5,5 billion, quite fittingly Luffy could have 5,6 billion EoS as 56 is Luffy's number, in Japanese 56 can be read as Go-Mu
- Shanks only became an Emperor 6 years ago, meaning him being unknown to bandits in East Blue makes sense
- Sengoku says understanding history instead of letting it be forgotten is the best way to learn, hinting that he knows about the Void Century
- Ace once had 550 million beli on his head, that was the highest bounty we knew until Dressrosa. His father had 10 times that bounty
- Kaido being an apprentice in the Rocks discards the theory that he came from the egg on the Oro Jackson
- The Rocks all look like classic pirates from the 1600s-1800s, Blackbeard right now has a crew full of classic pirate-looking members
- Brannew says Whitebeard and Roger had the biggest bounties in the history of piracy, Dragon is not a pirate however
- Buggy chasing after Captain John's treasure may hold meaning now
- Roger asking Garp to take in Ace now holds much more meaning
- Rocks were first mentioned in chapter 907, now they're referred to by name again 50 chapters later exactly
- Shanks single-handedly became a Yonko in 6 years (get it)
- Pirates' Island or God Valley could be a reference to Libertatia, the famed pirate's paradise colony, established by famous pirates during the 17th century, the existence of which is debatable and has not been discovered by explorers. God Valley disappearing could be an homage to that.
