The Hunt for Justice #19 @Kaka​

Aokiji was not surprised to see his opponent block his attack, he was after all he was the one leading the charge. For a brief moment it seemed like their combined efforts were successful, as both attacks from Doll and Tokikake successfully landed, damaging Sephiroth. But it was a short-lived glory as the pirate immediately reached out and grabbed the two Vice Admirals. Power flowed out from the outlaw, enclosing the marines.

Before they faded from his vision, Aokiji could see both of his subordinates steel themselves and perform the same action. Both Doll and Tokikake reached up and grabbed one of Sephiroth's arms each, clamping down with all their might. Then, both of them activated tekkai and coated themselves in haki. Suddenly the pirate would have two heavy weights on his arms, making sure he could not use them freely anymore. The technique also allowed them to withstand more of the power that they were exposed to, and despite the pain, they would manage to hold on. Should Sephiroth try to pull his arms in, they both would use Geppo to pull back.

Seeing his two allies holding down his foe Aokiji moved immediately, even as the gravity prisons were still forming around Doll and Tokikake. He swung his arm, thrusting his ice sword forward with great force, aimed towards the center of the pirate¨'s torso. Less than a meter from its target however, the ice would erupt, shooting forwards with even greater force and speed. In addition to aiming to pierce the pirate, the ice would expand behind like a wedge, easily spreading to a dozen meters wide. This would not only aim to pierce and engulf the pirate, but also freeze the gravity prisons to save Doll and Tokikake.

With the chaotic starry skies above, Sephiroth floated supreme, holding both Vice Admirals by their necks up in the air. A dominant scene if one was to put it in a frame - but in the grand context of things, the battle was far from won, and the Navy proved to be far more formidable than initially thought. The two Vice Admirals clamped down on Sephiroth and hardened their bodies with Tekkai, as well as tempered themselves with Busou-shoku no Haki. They aimed to withstand whatever it was that Sephiroth was about to do, while holding Sephiroth down in an attempt to give Admiral Aokiji an opening.

Realizing this, as the prison of gravity was forming, Sephiroth initiated a counterattack. A black sphere of gravity and Haki formed close to him. With but a glance of his eyes, Sephiroth hurled the sphere toward the incoming blade of ice. The sphere of gravity and the tip of the blade would collide, both erupting with massive power.

The mighty collision gave birth to a huge explosion of gravity, causing the forming prison to crack and collapse. Admiral Aokiji's attack, diminished, managed to pierce through the mighty explosion, but all that the blind (due to obscurity) sword of ice would meet, would be Vice Admiral Doll's body. Sephiroth's superior physical strength, as well as a play of gravity that made Vice Admiral Doll's body easy to move, allowed Sephiroth to use her as a meat shield. Vice Admiral Tokikake, at the same time, was discarded and pushed away, while a barrier of gravity formed around Sephiroth as another layer of protection. A vengeful ploy by the Lunarian that would likely push the female warrior into peril.

The Hunt for Justice #20 @Kaka​

Sephiroth, faced with two enemies clinging to him and the third attacking him head on quickly moved to defend against the attack. First he would attempt to discard Tokikake, then attempt to move Doll in front of him to use as a human shield. Alas, it would seem the pirate had underestimated the vice admirals' physical strength, as both of them actually matched his own.

Doll, realizing she was about to be put in a precarious situation, combined the forms of Soru and Geppo together with her form of Tekkai she already embodied kicked off the air to stop Sephiroth from being able to pull her in front of him. Unlucky for her however, the pull of gravity was just a bit too much, and she was still pulled towards the center, but at a slower pace than the pirate would have hoped for. This meant that she was partially put in the path of the ice attack, a freezing feeling passing through her legs, but leaving her torso unscathed. Her legs seemed oti seize, unable to move for the moment. Her hands however still held on to the pirate's arm. Since so little of Doll's body was struck by the attack, much of it would still continue onwards towards Sephiroth and it was likely it would inflict him the same way it had her.

In his hurry to defend against Aokiji, Sephiroth had seemingly forgotten about Tokikake, but the man had not let go of the other arm, but he was no longer being strangled, so he was much more free to move. His right hand still gripping Sephiroth's arm, the vice admiral kicked off the air, keeping himself close to the pirate, but moving more behind him. Not only should this make it hard for Sephiroth to defend with his other arm as it was moved even further out of the path, while his left arm struck out. Index finger extended in the iconic Shigan, Tokikake aimed a darkened finger towards the exposed back of the pirate, around the area of the right lung.

Aokiji was not about to let the pirate recuperate, so even as his two subordinates fought against Sephiroth's moves, the admiral rushed forwards. This time he would be close enough that Doll or Tokikake could not be pulled in front of him as a shield, bringing his hands of justice up close and personal. Having stepped across air itself to close the distance between himself and the three others, Aokiji would reach them just after the ice attack had passed Doll and likely crashed into Sephiroth himself. His hands thrust forwards, his arms touching each other and fingers spread like two wings, the tips seeking the body of Sephiroth even as Tokikake struck from behind.

Rokuogan! Aokiji shouted, his breath frosted like the air around him.

Sephiroth had hurled the mass of gravity toward Admiral Aokiji's incoming attack, the two attacks colliding in a powerful clash. Admiral Aokiji's attack prevailed, but what was merely a shadow of its former self, the attack continued toward Sephiroth. The Lunarian warrior aimed to move Vice Admiral Doll in the path of the attack and use her body as a meat shield, but her Geppou maneuver managed to stall Sephiroth just long enough. The attack would pass by Vice Admiral Doll's body, inflicting damage on her as well, but her body was not moved deep enough into the path of the attack to stop it.

Fortunately, Sephiroth had predicted that - as said - and had a follow up defense. After letting go of Tokikake, Sephiroth erected a powerful spherical barrier of gravity that pushed outward. Behind Sephiroth, this would push Tokikake away. Due to this, his Shigan, when unleashed, would penetrate the shield, but it would not reach Sephiroth. In front, Sephiroth's shield would disrupt what was left of Admiral Aokiji's attack. When Aokiji appeared in front of Sephiroth, initiating his attack, Sephiroth no longer had ample time to react. He would not have time to unleash an attack strong enough to parry Admiral Aokiji's own - even though Sephiroth had the strength to do it, he didn't have the time.

Aokiji's fists came in. A whirl of fire appeared on Sephiroth's abdomen, and from it, the head of a fire dragon, clad in Busou-shoku no Haki, erupted. But, it was the weakest form of Karyudon. Aokiji's fists erupted into the dragon's maw, and an explosion engulfed the area.

Sephiroth was sent flying through the air, the cloth on his abdomen ripped and a large ice burn present. In the weeks to come, it would turn into an ever present scar.

Sephiroth coughed blood from his mouth as he was flying through the air.

Sephiroth would clench his fist. A loud, gut wrenching sound would be heard. One could only feel like the sound was that of the end of the world. The entire awakened space of gravity would suddenly implode, aiming to crush everyone inside. A bright flash of light would accompany the collapse of the space of gravity, almost as if light was pulled in. By the time the flash of light cleared, and the battlefield was left in total destruction, Sephiroth was gone. Did the Admirals survive?

The Hunt for Justice #21 @Kaka​

The initial attack had failed. Tokikake's secondary attack was repelled. It was the third and final attack that connected, the hands that had been trained by Garp the Fist himself, that would succeed in bringing down the pirate known as Sephiroth. As he was send flying, the member of the Vampirates performed one last trick, one last trap to finish off his foes. All around the strange creation that enveloped them started to collapse inwards, crushing anything in its path.

Aokiji let out a deep breath, frost air spreading rapidly around him. His arms extended outwards, his palms open and fingers reaching for the distance. Ice Age, Honeycomb!

Like a brilliant flash, ice erupted from the admiral, spreading outwards and an amazing speed, covering the entire area that Sephiroth's awakening had covered. It created several pockets of air, one of each for both Doll and Tokikake, leaving them untouched, but countless more. Should Sephiroth still be within the area, he would likely be caught too. However, the honey comb design of the ice would mean that it would slow down the force of the crush, little by little. Each time it met and opening it would expand more energy towards breaking the next layer. The force of the destruction would be evaporated long before it reached the marines. But would Sephiroth escape?

 

[Kaka]

The Awakened space of gravity collapsed inward, threatening to crush all within with the might of a black hole. Vice Admirals Tokikake and Doll would have no chance of surviving this, so Admiral Aokiji acted quickly. An enormous amount of ice erupted from him in all directions, in the form of an icy honeycomb. The collapsing space of gravity and the expanding ice age collided with one another, a display of power that was truly unparalleled, and worthy of a fight between two men that could face the Yonkou. By the time the collapsing space of gravity was gone, and the icy honeycomb was wrecked and destroyed, only parts of it remaining - the fight seemed to be over. Sephiroth was gone. If Admiral Aokji inspected the icy honeycomb, he would see an anomaly somewhere. Part of the honeycomb was destroyed by powerful concussive force, cut up by powerful cutting force, and melted. Likely a combination of a gravitational burst, a slash and Ignition. Sephiroth had escaped in the chaos.

Two days later, the scene would switch to an island, significantly distanced from Punk Hazard. A ray of sunlight pierced through the forest, illuminating a man resting with his back against a tree trunk. Injuries were still present on his body, but he was healing. His sword laid next to him, snapped in half. Sephiroth was asleep.
