What? o_O Now you're making it sound weird too lmao. Literally the only PM we had was me saying that the way I'm understanding the hard mode premise, Jinbei is not necessarily on Arlong's side and is not necessarily against whoever is doing the quest. I pointed that out cause you said you never read the manga and don't really know the chars.
Aren't you strategically taking down the Fishmen without an all out confrontation? That's what was hinted in the post, I'm doing what you want to happen

In other but somewhat related news, I wonder which DF user's DNA I should go for on the next island, to get a DF for S.

Wonder if I could have her take Kumo's DNA and become a Doku user herself as well lmao. Double Doku combo. :O

Boss Z doesn’t play that much, so how would it even work if 2/3 of our currently playing GMs are in a situation that needs change ?
im still here though lol
Would be open to creating an island with you @Lamby and we can rope @Gambit for a Science galore island.

Also would wanna create a separate island with you @Lamby
this reminds me of the Fate island(s) we were going to do lol

Can you please stop repeating that? You've said it a couple of times now and I ignored it, but you keep insinuating that I'm doing something corrupt or influencing Lamby in a way to let me win, when I did no such thing and I'm doing nothing but RPing fairly and to my strengths.
Bruh, what? :pepelaugh: I have said it literally twice and one of the times is what you're responding to. My beef isn't with you, it's the ease at which you can carve into hard-mode islands at level 25. You're pulling from a response I gave to Ichi without using ANY of the context prior or after.
I disagree.

"I dropped this point because it seemed like I was combatting the players more than the rules (and truthfully, I do think Seraphim is bit broken for a fresh New Game+ character at least compared to the other options). I don't think it's a Kaka specific issue. But--"

Literally in the same quote you use I explain the fact that I dropped it intentionally and would prefer to focus on the actual rules rather than the specific players and moreso that it isn't a problem specific to you.
I was replying to Ichi's comment with a point I deemed relevant.
Ichi said [paraphrased]:
"Seraphim shouldn't beat that island, if it does it's a skill issue on player and host."

So I said [paraphrased]:
"Well, I don't think it's an issue to them specifically, but if we're going with that logic: the player is a GM whose been in the RP community for years and years should be self-aware if an island seems to be going easier than it should."

What I never once said is that you guys are secretly meta-gaming with excessive DMs, or that you're intentionally influencing your host to give you a free ride, or that you're intending to 100% all the NPCs on the island, or that you're even breaking the rules. In fact, I'm pretty sure I argued the opposite.
You're acting like I have a standing beef with you or I have an ulterior motive.

If you have issues with Hard Mode, Seraphims, Legacying, that's all fair

The point of the discussion (on my end) is just that, Kakashi. I'm saying as someone who has been reading along, post-by-post, the island isn't reading as 'hard' in the slightest, which is a point of concern seeing as your playing hard-mode with what is supposed to be a buff level 25. You are effectively circumventing "starting at level 25" by playing with the stats of a level 80. Here are the DE items (a few of them stand out):
Inherited Will: Inherit the will of someone or something. Mostly flavor and story based. Cost: 25 DC.

Ability to read Poneglyphs: Buying this item unlocks that ability. Cost: 35 DC.

Direct Martial Art: This item allows your character to use one of the MAs that would otherwise require a NPC to be beaten. Can be bought more than once. Cost: 35 DC.

Devil's Voice: Increases the user's Haoshoku Haki to knock out characters 70% of their level and intimidate anyone up to 80% of their level. Range for knocking out is 500% of level and can intimidate anyone on the same island. Cost: 40 DC.

Voice of all Things: Buying this item unlocks that ability. Cost: 50 DC.

Custom Material: This item unlocks a custom material for your character. This material can have supernatural properties. The material needs to be submitted for approval prior to purchase. Cost: 50 DC.

Dyna Stone: This item grants you one Dyna Stone. The Dyna Stone is replenished after each adventure. It creates an S+ DPR explosion. Can be bought more than once. Cost: 50 DC.

3rd Perk Slot: This allows you to have a 3rd perk. Cost: 50 DC.

Access to the Abyss: Can enter an extremely weird and dangerous place that will test everything you and another player have. Gives a special mystery unique item if you win. Can only be completed once per player, but you can keep buying the item if you fail. Cost: 50 DC.

Saijō Ō Wazamono Grade Sword: This item grants the user a Saijō Ō Wazamono grade sword. Can only be bought once per character. Cost: 60 DC.

Map to a Poneglyph: This item grants the user a map that leads to a Poneglyph. Requires the player to find a host that will host a story for the user. Successfully obtaining a Poneglyph at the end of the story is not a guarantee. Cost: 75 DC.

Kokuto: This turns your weapon into a Kokuto (black blade). Attacking with a black blade gives an automatic +2 armaments DPR to any melee non-ranged attack. This cannot stack with your own hakI. The blade needs to be of the Ō Wazamono or Saijō Ō Wazamono grade. Can only be bought once per character. Cost: 75 DC.

Third Support Devil Fruit: Allows for the feeding of another B-rank or below DF to a NPC, beast or a weapon. Can not be combined with "Second Devil Fruit". Just like the ''Second Support Devil Fruit'' can be upgraded to max S-rank, the ''Third Support Devil Fruit'' can be upgraded to max A-rank. Costs: 75 DC.

*Super Robot: A powerful robot that follows a player or their NPC's commands. Level 70 with only the following stats; strength, speed, vitality and cyborg, but is allowed to go to 120 in one stat. Can be repaired by someone with the right profession. Cannot eat a DF or use a Cursed Weapon; can use some items from the Science stat. Cannot be combined with other ''NPC items'' from the Divine Emporium, such as the Ancient Giant or Genetic Beast items. Cost: 80 DC.

Golden Animal: The player gets a golden animal of their choice. After every other activity, you gain 100,000,000 Beri and a Golden Shard on top of your normal activity rewards; you also gain a Golden Shard every time you clear a territory. Golden shards can be used to create a variety of items including custom ones but they require approval. Only one item can be active at once and a player can only have 3 items made from Golden Shards. The animal has 100 durability and if it is killed you get none of the extra rewards for 6 activities (3 in practice since its every other). Cost: 100 DC.

Haki Master: Allows you to buy a 120 stat item for both of your Haki subtypes. Both need to be purchased separately, and you're still limited to 2 120 items (or 3 if your character doesn't have a DF). This simply allows you to focus both on the Haki subtypes. Cost: 100 DC.

Sentient Island (like Zunesha): That item is now being taken out of the normal shop (no one has purchased it yet), and being put into the Divine Emporium. The rules for the item stay the same. Cost: 100 DC.

*Ancient Giant: This item grants you a level 80 NPC of the Ancient Giant race, such as Oars/Oars Jr. Cannot be combined with other ''NPC items'' from the Divine Emporium, such as the Super Robot or Genetic Beast items. Cost: 100 DC.

*Genetic Beast: A creature created by modern genetics and science. They are a level 80 NPC and have sentient beast stats with the negative mind stat removed. Players can choose two abilities for the beast; both of which scale off of a mastery stat, but the GMs reserve the right to deny the abilities if they are too strong on their own or together. Can be intelligent, bestial or inbetween and cannot eat a DF. If they die, the player has to buy another one. Cannot be combined with other ''NPC items'' from the Divine Emporium, such as the Super Robot or Ancient Giant items. Cost 100 DC.

Klabautermann: This item grants a significant upgrade to your ship by granting it a Klabautermann. Examples of upgrades can be a huge HP upgrade, or a ship becoming sentient, or something else. The upgrade requires preapproval. Cost: 100 DC.

*Seraphim: Allows you to have one canon Seraphim as a subordinate. Only one of these can be purchased by a player. Also, only 7 of these items can be purchased by the whole RP! The Seraphim is a subordinate with the below stats: Cost: 100 DC. 25 DC to revive if dead.

  • Custom Seraphim: The ability to turn a canon Seraphim into a custom Seraphim, utilizing the harvested blood of the character you aim to replicate. 40 DC.
Seraphim Statistics
Strength: 81
Speed: 81 (Movement: 81, Reaction: 81)
Vitality: 101 (Stamina: 101, Durability: 101)
MA 100 (Ignition: 100, a MA of your choice: 100)
Cyborg: 100 (cannot use cyborg durability boosts)
Devil Fruit: 100 (Devil Fruit is obtained by obtaining the DNA of a different Devil Fruit user, needs to be done IC)

Note: Seraphim are still subject to the Seraphim Command System. Be careful!

(*)The Divine Emporium Box: A special box. When one purchases this box, one of the GMs use the RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service to roll two of the Divine Emporium items. The buyer of the box gets those two prizes. Prizes can not be refunded. Cost: 50 DC. The prizes available:
Like Cross pitched, maybe for NPC Divine Emporium items, you should need to reach a certain level or # of island(s) before the NPC can partake in combat.

No killing NPCs, unless said NPC has desired DF or story requires it. Otherwise, NPCs will "faint". If the bio is not updated within two weeks of acquisition or the DF is not used within a month of acquisition, NPC will get the Pell treatment.
Y'all ain't fun. So even Koby ain't going to die ? Whitebeard would be disappointed. 😭😭😭
Players will post their updated stats reflecting the updated stat system with their first post. However, there cannot be a substantial change in the character that could not have been done during the war. I.E. DF change/addition, race change, appearance change, etc. Shuffling stats is a-okay, so long as change been properly purchased. Any questions on your particular change, PM me!
Shuffling stats as Free Change or Status Add-Ons ?

You keep commenting on whether the hard mode is hard enough, but you're not understanding it's not a set standard. It's a harder version of its original, and significantly so. Original Arlong would have been stomped on post 1.

I dunno by which standards you want it to be hard. It's an island with absolutely fodder NPCs, that was buffed and made harder to the point where a level 80 character will at the end fall short, especially due to Arlong's steroids. That's leaps harder than the original. So I dunno by which standard of hard you want it. It's not end-game level where Admirals and Yonkous are involved, and it's not meant to be.

Now, the main issue I have with your post is that you clearly colored me saying that I am playing fair by current rules, and then you said you disagree. Which current rules am I not abiding by fairly?

And I totally get that btw, didn't mean to brush by that, it wouldn't make sense for Arlong to be level 100. It's hard-mode relative to the location.
:datea:
I dunno by which standards you want it to be hard.
I assumed the point of hard-mode was a mode that is supposed to be difficult; perhaps meant for multiple people for a larger plot, not low-level solo grinding.

You're killing me, dude. I don't understand the disconnect between what I'm writing and what you're reading.

At least in the Sweet crew, money gets split based on level, so the lower you are in level, the less you get.
That being said, I do enjoy sugar daddy @Infinity bringing in so much income with his king item, and my second character is about to buy exp to get to level 50, lmao.
