If Alaric were a musician or in a band:

Alaric would be the lead guitarist — not the flashy showboater, but the one who plays with quiet intensity and absolute precision. His style would be technical, emotionally layered, and powerful, much like his personality: deliberate and deeply felt. He wouldn’t sing lead, but he might occasionally provide a low, gravelly backing vocal—just enough to make people lean in.

Would he be good at it? Yes! He’d be phenomenal, though he’d never admit it! The kind of guitarist whose solos tell stories—melancholy, violent, redemptive. Other musicians would respect him not for stage presence, but for skill and soul. He’d play like a man carrying a burden.

His Band Name would be “Ashes Over Drum”
—named in reference to his past on Drum Island. The band’s sound would be post-rock or progressive blues with occasional folk-metal influence. Every song would feel like a confession, a prayer, or a ghost returning home.

Azul is already a Musician lmao, but here we go:

Azul—also known as Vivo—would be the lead performer and primary songwriter of the band, wielding his signature wooden lute like a sacred relic. His instrument, though old and weathered, would produce unexpectedly rich and soulful tones, bridging classical elegance with raw, seafaring grit. His vocals would be warm and haunting, capable of rousing the downtrodden or silencing a rowdy tavern with a single note.

Yes, he’d be exceptional at it. Not just from talent, but from living life deeply—each song drawn from real sorrow, joy, and wandering. He plays not just to entertain, but to connect.

His band name would be “The Saltwind Verses”
A poetic name that reflects the wandering, ocean-tossed nature of Azul’s life and the heartfelt stories etched into every lyric.

Jade would be a drummer of a pop band. She would switch from being pretty good to terrible, depending on the day, her mood etc.

Varan would be the lead guitarist of a rock band. He would start off fairly bad but overtime become very good

Gerald: He'd be a pianist, he'd be fairly decent at playing this instrument. He wouldn't compose any songs though, instead he'd play melodies and songs he enjoys to relieve stress.
Ichimura: He loves the Acoustics Guitar, albeit he wouldn't be very good at it. He's tone deaf.
Mark: This may come as a surprise but if Mark were to join a band he'd be the lead singer. With practice he'd probably have the same vocal flexibility as Daniel Caesar.

Only Mark would join/be in a band, whereas Gerald and Ichimura are independent musicians. Mark's band would probably be called, "Flamingoes in a circle", since he'd be the one to kick start it.

Yasashí is a musician. He's not the lead vocalist, but one of his planned NPCs will be. Yasashí will lay down sick beats with his flute and some kind of percussion instrument (which I've realized today he actually can play simultaneously thanks to his martial art) while his NPC sings punk rock songs.

Bill would be in a shanty choir, and play the accordion, badly (is there any other way to play an accordion?). He already wrote his own shanty (link) for the Shantytown Admirals to sing, drunkenly (is there any other way to sing a shanty?).

I don't want to spam people, though. I guess the people that miss the Magikarp Monday will just have to live with the horrible penalty that will be inflicted upon them. (That being missing the chance to participate in something fun)
