@Sea it's 1731 onwards to be exact. It's hilarious to back read that episode. Cross was so emotional and both Ichi and Kaka just didn't care aat all. Lolololol.
And @Fallen Prince is a real life scum in that exchange and still in the process of creating his Sanji-inspired character.

Mergers would work well if both groups have a mutual interest and doesn't hate each other, for example NW/AC merge proposed by Zero, while alot of non-RPers dislike it for obvious reasons increase the RP activity quite tremendously for our RP group as a whole back then. Too bad it shut down and the next migration didn't work well.

Alright.
Recap- in January 2021 a couple of Role Playing Game Masters/players decided to make their own RP on another site.
The problem was they copy pasted EVERY text box/ info post/ stats/ island reward/ etc from Thriller Bark onto this other forum. And went live with it saying "we made our own RP yay!"
When confronted by us saying you copied the folks involved were like "
our RP is totally different! Why you even mad bro?"
This is when the characters were deleted. It was better than the permanent ban we were considering at this point. We thought we'd give these guys a chance to apologize and realize what they did.
Larsi did get apologies:
* at this point the Mods at the other site also became aware of the situation and did step in and closed up RP there until they could change it enough to be different. This "shut down" lasted 5 days. When the relaunch happened there were still key parts copy pasted over/unchanged. This is when the bans happened on our end. We do have a clause in our guidelines against this kind of thing; as well as advertising other forums on Thriller Bark.
Now for our part we have been ignoring the folks elsewhere. And recently a 3rd party tried to mend fences.

So Larsi and Ziosa were approached by a 3rd party 2 weeks ago with the idea that 1) these members were wanting to apologize once more and 2) to discuss a merger of RP to increase activity.

Cliffnotes from conversation: so we're sorry, we still didn't do anything wrong though. We need all your RP players to come over to the forum we put the stolen RP stuff on because our players won't move over to Thriller Bark and there isn't enough activity going on to have both sites going.

So that's the deal and why we have not accepted their apologies or why we don't believe them to be sincere.
The Banned ones can go on and on about how "mean" we have been to them by deleting their characters, banning them "for no reason at all!
", and not taking their apologies;
but our stance is still that they Plagerized our RP, refined by Larsi for OJ then here on Thriller Bark, and with their continued actions (continuing to use the Copy pasted RP, bad mouthing us, asking US to stop our RP...etc) prove their apologies are just empty words.
If the folks want back they know what they have to do. Getting their characters back may require more groveling than they are willing to do though.
My PM box is open for any additional private inquiries you may have on this subject.

Looks like I wasn't left behind with all that discussion. I also have that 3rd party as my source of info. LOLOLOLOL. In fact, I've tried to make this happen beforehand but the dudes in the other backyard are so full of ego and they don't want that to be stained.
I mean, I was honestly meaning to apologize as well for my selective behaviour against the devils less Frayz but I guess that what I did was just just for the likes of them.
