8/10. Open world is great and other games should definitely learn from it. But the open world dungeons had a little bit too much recycled stuff to my liking. Exploring rewarded you with a lot of the same bosses but changed a with minor details but the way you had to battle them stayed the same.

But it's just more DS and or Bloodborne. So if you didn't like those games you won't like them now. However, this one does have a lower barrier to entry. You can just say fuck this boss and come back later when you're stronger and just wreck them.

FROM games are very niche but Elden Ring seems to attract new players. From the videos I’ve seen it’s a Dark Souls with a jump mechanic :pandacry:

I don't think you can call them niche anymore lol. Elden Ring sold 12 million copies since its release(25/02). That's COD level sales, lol.

But yeah it has a jump button, and it took me ages to remember it lol, the first few hours I just forgot it existed since I'm not used to it.

The marketing was insane on this one, many (like me) thought with G RR, we were going to have a normal game or one with more accessibilities.

The last boss is sick ! The first knight you face too. I’m not ready for this type of difficulty :pandacry:
