Because it was straight up for the wrong reason. He has no history with Juliet. When you can say I suspected Gambit for the wrong reasons, I can say you tunneled Oreki for the wrong reasons. Doesn't mean they can't be scum, but your reasoning was wrong. Also, you know, you could have still prevented the Gambit lynch. Not to mention blaming a single player for a lynch when the lynched player had six votes on him, so even if all scums were on the train, still just as many Town is a petty reason to begin with.
