Dr. Vegapunk read through the contents of the letter. By the look on his face, Dr. Vegapunk was quite surprised by whatever was written inside - though he kept it to himself for now. Little did Sun know, whatever was written inside the letter, would also make it so that Dr. Vegapunk would trust him. As Dr. Vegapunk stashed the letter back into the envelope and put it into his clothing, Sun spoke, going on to explain what his goal was. A Humandrill, speaking about unity of all races. A noble man stood in front of Dr. Vegapunk, inspiring the old man. As for how Sun would do it - he would tackle the problem that ensnared the whole world. Always did, always would, still does to this day - a fight for scarce resources. If resources were abundant, to the point where everyone would have more than enough, then there would be no reason for strife and war. Right...?

But... Sun was young, and his beliefs were still immature.

You are a noble young man. I wish it was this simple, but the older I grow, the more I realize it is not scarcity of resources that keeps us fighting.

Some men... simply have innate urge to control and overpower others. To rule. To conquer. Even when they have it all... they continue to conquer, as that is what they live for.

Afraid that if they don't continue to conquer... somebody else will conquer them.

Dr. Vegapunk said, quite profoundly, and likely as a shock to Sun and Hagiri. Dr. Vegapunk's view of the world seemed a bit more... pessimistic. Though if asked, he would probably simply call it realistic.

Having said that... your purpose is good, and it should help, at least.

Dr. Vegapunk said, having trust in Sun - partly due to the letter from Leonard Burns. Sun proclaimed that he would prove his usefulness by exterminating the danger that was approaching Egghead Island. Hagiri spoke up as well - stating that he wanted to make himself useful as well, and that he would support the man that he followed.

A gun you say... well, there is one that should prove to be useful against the incoming threat.

Dr. Vegapunk said, walking over to a storage. Scrimmaging through it, Dr. Vegapunk pulled out a bazooka esque weapon. He would hand it to Hagiri. It was likely different from what Hagiri had imagined, but it would be useful.

This one shoots out giant bubbles. The bubbles are made of sea energy and weaken any Devil Fruit user who touches them. They also don’t pop as easily as regular bubbles.

Dr. Vegapunk explained, his nerdiness shining through - as if he was giving a lecture.

Now then... young men. Herein lies the problem. The threat that is coming for Egghead Island... is one of your own.

Egghead Island - #15

Labophase - Building B
The two visitors came face-to-face with Dr. Vegapunk himself. The old man read the letter, deciding not to disclose its contents. It’s secrets held even from the Cipher Pol agent who delivered it, Sun Wukong. Carrying will of the People, the Humandrill recounted his past, one of strife, war, regret, and loss. To reveal his dream of making one of war’s biggest reasons obsolete: resources. If anyone could do it, it was Vegapunk. A lofty goal the World Government would not allow. Enter the equalizer, the fangs: Sun Wukong. Hagiri voiced his support of the Humandrill, and Sun would respond with a gentle nod asa. thank you. Both men offered to deal with the "danger" approaching the island.

Vegapunk called the Humandrill "noble", yet his words turned to reality. Sun Wukong looked down, embarrassed. Like a child being corrected by his parents. Yet, the man's chest suddenly widened, his friend flashing in his mind. The Humandrill would quickly retort.

[Sun Wukong] "Then we will eliminate that urge as well."
A dreamer. A man who unapologetically pursued his values, his dreams. A fool. Young and clumsy. Yet, one couldn't help but like fools like him. Vegapunk responded to Hagiri's question, showing him the gun. A gun that shot out bubbles, effective against DF users. A weapon to keep. For a sniper like Hagiri, it was priceless.

Shortly after, Vegapunk would turn to the threat at hand. To Sun's surprise, Vegapunk said the threat was one of their own. Did Vegapunk mean the World Government? This was not the moment to blow Sun's cover. Yet, if it came to that, Sun had already made his choice - the one in the sand drawn.

[Sun Wukong] "I see. Please, tell us more."

Hagiri and Sun voices out their supports to each other and to Vegapunk primarily. With that, the sniper requested something of value. Back in the World Pirates, Gairom was the one who crafted his weapons included the sturdy marbles and dice that he used in battles. Having aimed for a gun, the old fart garnered his inventory and found a pretty exciting one.

Hagiri spoke up as well - stating that he wanted to make himself useful as well, and that he would support the man that he followed.

Hearing Vegapunk, Hagiri couldn't help but reminisce the old days with Gairom. His eyes sparkled but kept his tears from streaming. He held the sea-energy emitting bazooka and scrutinized it whilst listening to what the scientific genius divulged.

Now then... young men. Herein lies the problem. The threat that is coming for Egghead Island... is one of your own.
"?!!!"

He gazed at Sun who'd most likely share one, too. He put a scowl on his face as he gripped the handle of the weapon tightly.

"These enemies you'd tell us."

"How strong are they actually?"

"What are the chances of us meeting them anytime soon?"

"And more importantly, why would they even dare to be a threat to you; a man of science their resources practically were sourced from? I just don't understand."

"Don't tell me, you work for someone else."

The sniper said, worried that he might be a burden. This could also eclipse him from being valuable asset to Sun's team if he wouldn't match up.

Sun voiced his dream, a dream that was met with a dose of reality from Dr. Vegapunk. And yet...

[Sun Wukong] "Then we will eliminate that urge as well."
Dr. Vegapunk curled a smile. A man of unfathomable intellect, information and ability, that was who Dr. Vegapunk was. And yet, sometimes, such intellect and ability make one lose that childish vigor that is necessary to change the world.

You're right... I think we can do it!

Dr. Vegapunk said, excited by Sun's words.

The enemy that is coming...

Is Cipher Pol Aigis...!

Dr. Vegapunk said, revealing the enemy.

And they are closing in on our shores already. One of my weapons should be guarding the shoreline... the fighting will begin any minute now.

What are your decisions... Sun-kun? Hagiri-kun?

I wouldn't blame you if you backed out now.

To Sun's surprise, Vegapunk said the threat was one of their own. This was not the moment to blow Sun's cover. It would be in contravention with Leo and Vegapunk's benefit. If Sun had to repel the World Government, it would all come to ruin. Yet, if it came to that, Sun had already made his choice - the one in the sand drawn. The agent waited with bated breath for Vegapunk to state who was threatening them. Those who believed they could topple a city as advanced as this one, with even Warlord Numa "The Tyrant" as a bodyguard. Then, Vegapunk said those words: 'Aegis'. Likely the worst possible outcome. To repel those who. would accept him in their ranks.

Sun Wukong had to make a decision. After a long sigh, he locked eyes with Vegapunk, and with conviction, gavels response.

[Sun Wukong] "Show me where. I'll drive Cipher Po Aegis back."
The monkey man had stood up and declared with conviction. A line had already been drawn in the sand. It was time to defend it.

Much to Dr. Vegapunk's surprise, Sun affirmed with great conviction that he would stand by Egghead Island and what its technology represented for the future - despite the fact that it would introduce grave risk to Sun's own life, as well as his standing within the World Government.

I guess I should not be surprised...

Leo-kun has always been the type of man who knew how to pick his people.

Dr. Vegapunk said, complimenting Sun's conviction and allegiance to Leonard Burns.

Having said that... we should probably not compromise your standing within the World Government. I will ask you to complete this mission...

Without giving away your identity.

Dr. Vegapunk said, walking over toward a door that led to another room. He motioned for Sun and Hagiri to come with. Once in the other room, Dr. Vegapunk would motion for them to come over to a large machine that stood off to the side. The door of the machine opened and Dr. Vegapunk would ask the two to go inside.

This invention is called Trancos. By going inside, the machine will provide you with a completely new set of attire. It will hide your tail...

Dr. Vegapunk said, pointing toward Sun's Humandrill tail.

... as well as your face. It will also provide you with a voice changer. Refrain from using abilities that would compromise your identity.

Dr. Vegapunk said, limiting their ability to fight greatly. But, it was necessary.

Once you're done... we will depart. The incoming force is great... now, two more of my weapons joined the fray. But they will not be able to hold the line for long.

I will call Sentomaru-kun.

Egghead Island - #17

Labophase - Building B
With conviction terrible, Sun Wukong staked the last decade on the line to defend the future. Dr. Vegapunk curled a satisfied grin, before revealing a twist of his own. The inventor also agreed Sun's cover should not be blown, and introduced them to the Trancos. The inventor went on to explain it would change appearance, voice, and even faces to build a perfect disguise. One catch: Sun was to be careful not to reveal his identity through his abilities. That meant the use of the Numa Numa no Mi was out, as it was unique. While Rokushiki would not be odd for a Government Island inhabitant, the high-level variants of the Cipher Pol were likely off-limits. A conundrum. Sun's battle abilities had been cut down significantly.

Yet, the agent seemed unfazed. He looked at the machine and expressed excitement, before turning to Hagiri.

[Sun Wukong] "Whoa! No way! I get to be turned into a ghost?! SOOOOO COOL!!!!"
[Sun Wukong] "Hagiri, you should also change. I gave a full report to the Pols after World Pirates. They'd spot you a mile away."
A full report meant the Pols knew about Hagiri. A detail that could not be left out of his report. Though, his abilities were relatively unknown, leaving Hagiri without a handicap. Before they went any further, Sun Wukong would stop punching the air with excitement to ponder. This device gave Wukong a unique opportunity. Known to mimic everything they see, even Wukong could not change his appearance to mimic another. A truly complete disguise could be made. For one who lives in stealth, this was bliss.

The Humandrill audibly pondered the possibilities.

[Sun Wukong] "Hold on! One needs to speak the image into existence. Let me think... who do I want to channel? Hmm."
[Sun Wukong] "Must be capable. Able to act as a double agent. Hmmm. Also willing to betray even the Cipher Pol for the good of all! Maybe be a bit stoic and cool like Leo. Hmmm. Would be nice to wear a crown. Fearsome in battle but loyal to their own, like a bloodhound!

Sun Wukong kept rambling and rambling. There was an comical uncomfortable silence as the man listed quality after quality, calling out someone who likely never lived. Clapping his hands together to show he had the image in his mind, the Humandrill went into the machine with no hesitation. A few beeps and boops later, the chamber door would anon, the smoke slowly clearing to show the one Wukong had become.

The agent took a step forward in the new disguise.

The gentle feet of a woman graced the labophase. A battle armored attire was worn over her chest, the muscular build defined through even the iron. Over the armor was a long white coat, fitting for royalty. The woman had piercing blue eyes with long eyelashes and waist length blonde hair. The woman's lips are were defined and rather full - a striking sign of femininity despite her tough appearance. On top of those golden locks was a crown: a Queen.

Enter The Bloodhound.

[Sun Wukong] "Look at me, I'm fearsome, harsh, and cold. I have no emotion and have a rod up my ass. I don't even like hugs from mermen. Survival of the Fittest."

The Humandrill made a comically serious face and begun making fun of herself. An inside joke. One that even Wukong himself would not get. But the Timmahs of the world would. Likely having to stop because Hagiri would reprimand the now female agent, Sun Wukong would apologize and straightened up. As the Humandrill waited for Hagiri, he strapped a bandolier on his chest. Here, as if they were ammo, Sun Wukong stored the dials that his body produced. He could not fit all of them, unfortunately. Lastly, the Humandrill placed his custom dial bazooka and Sarutobi pole across his back. The agent was not used to carrying his weapons - they were always inside his body.

Sun Wukong would thank Vegapunk and ask them to lead them towards the battlefield.

When Sun and Hagiri vowed their conviction to protect the science sage, the latter gestured to follow him to a large machine that stood off to the side. It opened eventually and Sun would enter first.

Trancos, that's a perfect name even for a machine. A big leap for mankind. That really is astounding, he thought before responding to the agent.

"This is a perfect cover for you Wukong.", Hagiri said. "And, yes. I need to change as well. I don't want to be captured here."

During his thought process, the Humandrill did not wait any longer before entering the strange room. That was despite Vegapunk's explanation of what lay ahead.

As Sun was changing inside, the sniper took note of the name he heard several times ─ Leo. Why do I feel like I heard that name before? What is his relationship with these two men? They seem to know a certain secret that made this old man a target of his own kind. Is this how dangerous the World Government is in terms of exhibiting its own code of justice?

Still at the Labophase - Building B and wandering deeper, a woman wearing armour suddenly emerged from the Trancos. "Whoa!"

She has piercing blue eyes with long eyelashes and waist-length blonde hair. The cape she wears is elegant. For a moment there, Hagiri's attention was enthralled. Until the woman spoke of indecent remarks. It was Wukong after all.

Hagiri strode and left a comment on what he saw. "Nice arse.". And he entered at long last.

The former pirate murmured inside. He thought that there was no way Wukong should be prettier than him. He was a monkey before the transformation. And if he was not mistaken, the goal is to not blow the cover. Inside his mind, he already has an appearance to wear. He fashioned this idea in his head and it eventually materialised inside the room so magically.

Hagiri's bazooka suddenly floated and flipped backwards multiple times in mid-air before turning into a baton with a crystal that is ruby red in colour. Fire erupted from the ruby crystal as she transformed into a slim girl with hair as long as Wukong's. Hagiri's woman version was silhouetted at the time but the curves on her body were pretty apparent. Glowing neon lights and bubbles surrounded the young woman as she continued to spin like a ballet dancer. The fire that manifested earlier began to spiral around her in a finer stream. As she rotates, his black boots turn into red high heels before the scene reveals her now porcelain-like legs. It then revealed that his pants turned into a mini-skirt matching the shade of her doll shoes. She was wearing a neat white sailor uniform which had a red gem in the center. It has three white stripes on it. She displays six-pointed stars dangling from her red stud earrings. She was adorned with a plain red choker. And as she opened her eyes, her forehead revealed a magical tiara, glowing crimson.

Hagiri opened the door and went outside only to expose her beautiful long black hair to Wukong's blonde. His gun that turned into a baton crystal became a purple front bow with her circular red brooch. The holster on his waist was keeping a deck of metal cards but now they turned into a deck of Ofuda's.

"How do I look, Sun?", she asked the other flirtatously before winking her left eye.

Both Sun and Hagiri were ushered into the Trancos, told by Dr. Vegapunk to change their appearances so that they would go unrecognized by the Cipher Pol Aigis. Aside from a completely new attire, the two had access to a change of hair, as well as a voice changer, allowing for quite the convincing makeover - and make full use of it they did. The two came out of the Trancos, different people. One was a regal woman of blond hair, blue eyes, long eyelashes and a voluptuous yet firm and muscular looking body. A gladiator woman if there ever was one. The other was a more slender looking woman of long black hair. A drop of sweat comically rolled down the back of Dr. Vegapunk's head, he had not seen this coming. But, this would do.

Well, I think it's clear to say they will not recognize you. As long as you don't use your abilities indiscriminately.

Dr. Vegapunk said, once again reaffirming and restating that limitation.

Now then, it's time to get going.

Dr. Vegapunk said, turning around and walking away. He himself would grace the frontlines.

Skipping ahead a number of minutes, the group was seen heading toward the shoreline - moving atop the treetops of the forest that spanned all the way there. The group was five men and women strong - Dr. Vegapunk himself, carried by Shaka and followed by Lilith. With them were Sun and Hagiri in disguise. As they were traversing the treetops, they would see the shoreline in the distance. And there, a massive shockwave went off, one powerful enough and large enough to destroy a whole town.

The powerful shockwave created winds powerful enough to reach all the way to where Dr. Vegapunk and the group were, still retaining enough strength to cause the trees to sway violently. A battle was already underway on the shoreline. If the group approached closer and looked ahead, they would find the participants of the battle. Standing on the shoreline, facing the incoming fleet, was a figure that Sun and Hagiri had ran into before. And alongside him, three others.

Incoming was a force in great numbers....

Egghead Island - #18

Labophase ----> Shoreline
The unusual duo went into the contraption with little hesitation. The trust they displayed towards Dr. Vegapunk told a book on what they thought of Dr. Vegapunk. Commander Leo's word was as good as gold, enough to risk everything for one he trusted. The two came out completely different than how they came in. Both women, comically. Sun as a serious, pedantic, and confident woman. Hagiri as a sparkly, over-the-top, young lady. Waiting in anticipation, Sun comically burst into laughter when h saw Hagiri in his get-up.

The now-woman had to comically hold himself back - he was channeling a hard-ass, after all.

[Sun Wukong] "You look ridiculous, Hagiri! Chuhuhuhuhu! Oh, wait. Serious face."
The Bloodhound, as Sun would refer to himself going forward, would nod as Dr. Vegapunk told them it was time to leave. Through the forest and to the shoreline, the group made it to the battlefield. A large blast greeted them, forcing even the Bloodhound to widen her eyes. An incredible sight. The paw-sized burst was eerily familiar. After all, the two had fought the creator a few hours ago. When they arrived, the duo was greeted with a secret government project, one that did not even reach Cipher Pol 9's ears: The Seraphim. It was now Sun realized the "Kuma" they had fought was not "Kuma" at all, it was this contraption. It now made sense: the small Numa thought they were enemies: the World Government invaders.

Child versions of the Shichibukai in Lunarian's bodies. The agent was still channeling the hard-ass woman, hence his new tone.

[Sun Wukong] "I should have expected as much, Dr. Vegapunk. Are these new pacifists? The ability to use devil fruit powers is outstanding. I look forward to learning more."
[Sun Wukong] "We won't get upstaged. Bring them all on!"
The Bloodhound slammed her right fist into her open left palm, grin of confidence in her face. The Bloodhound hoped Dr. Vegapunk answered his inquiry, but understood they were gonna begin the battle. There was little time. The target was, however, far away for now. That was only a problem for one of them. With a proud parental face, Irra pointed towards the distance and addressed Hagiri.
[Sun Wukong] "Hagiri, show them why you're one of the most dangerous man in the seas with a gun."
