Ergastulum

Hei was still fully focused on the battle that loomed to a head, oblivious to the changing tides within the political land of Ergastulum. His arrival had caused quite a commotion, and the mafia leaders were planning accordingly. Voice for an alliance with the Gangsters were rumoured, while other whispers called for the gangsters immediate extermination. Whatever they eventually end up deciding would mark the difficulty for Hei's task, the defeat of both Worwick and Nicholas. For without them the gangsters would not hold such a high standing within this underground hierarchy. But one thing these bosses didn't account for, the dream had only send one man on this mission. They were a guild, not an organized crime unit. Only two hunters at max go out on a mission, and those are a real rarity.

With his eyes behind this deadpan pierrot mask, Hei would peer upon Joel who replied to his question truthfully but seemed to beat around the bush. With his Tonitrus out in his right hand Hei would inhale before exhaling sharply. "Darkness breathing....Sixth Form."

The young hunter called before vanishing from his position with a unique dash, nearly blurring or simply vanishing from sight to an average Joe. But Joel, the gangster, was a trained fighter and would be able to follow Hei with no real problem. But it'd give the man an indication how Hausen got defeated so easily. Before long, Hei would be in front of Joel and within striking distance. His right arm thrusting his tonitrus, a heavy iron mace, right towards the heavy weights' chest. Potentially Inflicting a powerful blow of physical damage towards him.

"Vacuum Crush!"

Ergastulum Chapter 8​

Joel waited to hear from Hei regarding his response. He’d take a step to re-adjust himself and his composure. Though unknowingly he’d use his observation haki in sensing Hei’s emotion. Within a blink of an eye it came back to him, he’d sense Hei’s intention of what to do. Though the information was late to be escorted to the brain cells by the nerves. This all came out of instinct, as using his haki was not out of precaution but he did out of self-awareness from his subconscious.

Joel wasn’t the first where Hei had to deal with a person he pushed into a corner where they would react out of instinct. But this time Hei was dealing with a haki user, so would utilise a different strategy.

The luck of his hair on his very chin, Joel could barely react, his eyes could only see the blur and afterimage of Hei’s dash.

Unable to even use his haki in defending himself due to the short time span he could react he simply clenched his left fist and threw a punch that was followed with a grunt and roar.

The two attacks collided creating a sonic boom that would travel throughout the room smashing any window. Joel who’d be pushed back would be surprised, he was afraid of the one who was before him out of their reputation. He’d also understand the reason how Hausen would be defeated, he’d feel his hand throb with him clenching and opening his hand.

Joel: “Not bad, now I know how Hausen lost to you”​

He’d take deep breath then exhale as he kicked himself off the floor dashing at Hei as he charged his fist further coating them as they darkened in hue as he roared with the intention to slam his fist into Hei.

Joel: “Take this, DUMBBELL SHOULDER PRESS, LEFT ARM!”​

Where was Nicholas Brown and Worick Arcangelo? … This was on the tip of everyone’s tongue, as even others and Hei all wondered the very same question on their whereabouts.

Heading to a park with a man with long blonde hair that was set in a ponytail, wearing a black eye patch over his left eye. Donning a black suit with blue shirt was sat on a bench feeding the birds. They chirped gleefully oblivious to the situation that was happening at one of the bases of the Gangsters.

Ergastulum

A loud clash and boom would follow these two fighters. The collision of their attacks of such nearly equal value that the surrounding energy had no way to disperse properly. Both Joel and Hei would be flung back a couple of meters while the energy would pop the windows on this floor. Like a balloon exploding, the kinetic energy would eventually leave, reverting things to what they used to be. Minus the structural damage of course.

Hei would lower his mace, smoke still trailing its movements. The energy still lingered around it, heat but also the manifestation of will. Up next was Joel's try to disrupt the balance between the two of them. With a push from his foot, the man would sprint towards the masked assassin. Anger turning to energy, allowing him to clad his skin dark. Hei, in response, would lower his stance a bit, which would allow him to better respond to this attack. This was an ability he couldn't replicate, after all.

Joel would arrive at striking distance and hurled his arm forward. Like a rubber band the man's arm was released with a powerful and deadly punch. However, these two men were of equal level of power. It'd take a lot more than this to catch one another off guard. Hei would wait for the most opportune moment. The moment where Joel's arm was at its apex. The moment where he most likely could not stop its movement or alter its trajectory. At that point, Hei would hop backward. This short hop was more or less a back step, but quicker and less telegraphed.

The man's punch would now, most likely, hit nothing but air. Unless he had an ability to increase his reach at a moment's notice, this moment was Hei's turn to strike. Joel was still in the middle of his attack and his guard because of that was wide open. "Darkness breathing: First form." Hei said, still during his hang time in the air. He'd bring his mace next to his head and held it with both his hands.

Here the masked hunter would finally hit the ground, 4 meters between him and Joel. The moment he'd hit the ground, the man would swing with all his might. Tempering the attack with his fighting spirit, to give it the augmentation it needed. A dash being executed beforehand, allowing him to build up the momentum.

"Oblivion Strike!"

From Hei's swing, a powerful tunnel of slicing air was produced. Aimed to hit Joel like a truck and blast him backwards with neck breaking capabilities. Hei had only dashed enough, so he could launch the attack, but the hunter would stop right in the middle of the room. Reviewing how his attack would affect the close quarters fighter.

Ergastulum Chapter 9​

Just as Joel's arm would reach its apex in its swung at the time with a huge opening, Hei would take a backstep alerting Joel but he had little to respond to a backstep. Joel's only thought was ' he got me ' as he lunged at full ferocity sending a wind current in the direction of the punch with no means of pivoting as he was fully committed to the punch. Hei had already prepared to attack as he dashed creating a current of from the force of his attack, not only that the moment Hei slammed his mace into the ground it caused the ground beneath to crumble with Joel losing footing falling face first into the current. The current swallowed Joel slicing and cutting him in the process.

A whirring sound could be heard as it sliced into Joel's arms, back and legs. Blood splattered in the current that sent him crashing into the wall behind and he landed on his knees back on the ground. He spat out blood as the current vanished, breathing heavily and losing blood.

" Dammit that was a force to be reckon with " he uttered as he grunted slowly standing back to his feet. Unable to clench his fists due to the nature of the attack as he then collapsed back down face first.

Blasted backwards by Hei's first form, Joel was left in a state he could no longer fight in. The masked assailant still with his guard up seemed rather surprised at how easy this stronger foe went down. But perhaps this was an ill fated match up for the close fighter, Hei had mid-range attack within his arsenal after all. Once Joel went on his knees, Hei would exhale sharply, releasing the tension on his body, allowing it to start its recovery. His mace would be sheathed back on his hip and the man would slowly walk over towards Joel, the man was losing blood and his consciousness. "May the echoes guide you." Hei would say, feeling the man's voice fading until he had passed over to the other side. The Gangsters had to go, this was not a defeated only run.

For a few moments, Hei would simply stand within this room, awaiting the inevitable end of these two fighters. They had fought valiantly but against a first star hunter from within the dream they had met their match. Hei would look around the room trying to see if he could spot something out of interest. Regardless if he found something or not, he'd dwell within his mind's eye, panning his surroundings. Spanning for 120 meters, Hei would try and search for someone else, someone that perhaps was not a member of the gangsters. One that'd lead him towards the leaders of this group.

If nothing of value remained within this gym Hei would leave through the same way he entered. The two unfortunate bodies were left like he had defeated them. Only giving them one coin each, a coin to mark the passing of the Hunter's dream. It was Hei and his company's calling card.

They were coming for the others.

"Two down. How many more to go?" Hei whispered softly.

Ergastulum Chapter 10​

Just like that in the space of an hour, not one but two members of the Gangsters had fallen in front of the feet of the Hunter. The Pierrot had made his presence known, with many finding themselves on alert and some sweating as if they had been checkmated. Though as this was happening on the inside another incident occurred on the outside of the streets that Hei would witness, as another member of the Gangsta's was held by her hair and knocked out with signs of blood splatter.

Nina a member of the Gangsta's had been dispatched as a huge man with dirty blonde hair and moustache, with a dark navy like body length jacket and black boots. This was Lancelot of the Cristiano Famiglia as he was not alone with many bodies around just as Hei would leave the gym.

" You must be from that Hunters dream? " a very deep vocal from Lancelot as a car door would open with white hair, a black fur jacket lace with a black suit underneath and red higheels. " Consider this a courtesy for our talks, Hunter " ... spoke the leader of the Cristiano Famiglia. " How about an alliance to terminate the Gangsta's and alliance? "

What was known as of now only Cristiano Famiglia had sided on the Hunter's side whereas the Corisca seemingly sided with the Gangsta's. But what was Hei's thought from the offer that would be drawn before him.

It didn't take long for Hei to find someone who'd nudge him into the right direction. A man would greet him at the entrance of the gym holding in his hand the defeated body or corpse of Nina, another member of the Gansta's. Hei with his pierrot mask kept his fictional gaze upon this man as he walked forward until he'd eventually reach a close enough distance. "That is correct, I work for the dream." Hei answered straight and honestly. They had to promote their work somehow, at least. Suddenly, a car door would open up, revealing the leader of the Cristiano family. They'd go on to reveal some pieces of information here and there. But in the end they were here to offer their services to the dream.

"It'd seem there have been some developments while I was inside. What is this alliance you speak of?" Hei said, trying to inquire more information. While there wasn't exactly a rule against getting help within contracts it is often seen as a weakness to the other hunters. Several would prefer death over accepting the aid of another. But Hei was an irregular in that matter, he was an irregular. Having survived the culling with his emotions and thoughts intact. But for now he'd play the fool card.

"Explain to me first what has happened. Information about my arrival has arrived much quicker than I anticipated. It must've been leaked." Hei continued, wondering how his arrival had been was known to so many people so quickly. It didn't make much sense and he first had to see a reason to this.

The Cristiano Famiglia, from the 02 Street, a once famed and feared mafia family that ruled over entire south. For the first time since the great split, they saw a opportunity and were driven to expanding their territory. Opportunity had presented itself in the shape of a Hunter's dream chairman making his presence known.

As the Cristiano made its first move on the chess board for their domination they swiftly took action by joining with the Hunter.

"It'd seem there have been some developments while I was inside. What is this alliance you speak of?"

Loretta upon hearing this would take a puff from her pipe as she exhaled a thick cloud and then taking a moment before speaking " The developments you speak of. You are hunting the Gangtsa's, aren't you? ... Then how about we join hands on this co-operation. As you will need a hand as others will be gunning for your head. So why not make use of this by having us intervene on your behalf. "

"Explain to me first what has happened. Information about my arrival has arrived much quicker than I anticipated. It must've been leaked."

" Information is a valuable asset hun. With all of us mafia family wanting to know about the other. Don't you think if someone sets their feet on someone's land. Would they not know about it? ... Or they might be a mole within that leaked it for added dramatic effect " as she took a break for a breather before continuing on ...

" So i ask again, are you in for this alliance? " Loretta would ask the Hunter, eagerly awaiting his reply.

Hei simply stood and listened to the Cristiano family's offer to join hands. The man did not speak nor show any facial expression courtesy of that silly mask of his. But if one was a bit versed with body language, one could assume he was deep in thought. While accepting help on a contract isn't prohibited, it is highly unusual and adds a few annoyances he had to deal with later. Hei would take off his mask and placed it in the inside of his trench coat. "Very well, I accept your terms. But I have one condition."

Hei said as he took a step closer and looked Loretta deep into her eyes.

"Worwick and Nicolas are mine for the taking. They are the main objective for my contract. Defeating them with outside help will complicate things within the Dream. Help me get to them, and we got ourselves a deal." Hei said, help was needed to get to them after all especially since the Gansta's now teamed up with another family.

Loretta would listen on hearing Hei’s reply, she would take her out her hand to shake on a deal. Though she would also point out “ We have a common enemy. Though I don’t sit eye to eye on Worwick, but Nick is all yours …. Though I am willing to give Worwick to you on one condition. The condition to employ you to help me assassinate the other famiglia heads and their ace lap dogs. “ It was brazen of her to come up with bargain of this ilk. But she had vigour in wanting this, but one of her position only sought out this method. She wanted to rule Ergastulum and saw this as the perfect opportunity but there was someone one step a head of the curb.

In a dark office with a lit up cigar, he placed his feet onto the wooden desk before him in his office. He took a few puffs and then picked up the phone “ This is Daniel Monroe of the Monroe Family. I would like to employ the hunters dream to assassinate the Cristiano’s. The price on the offer, I would offer 10 million per head. The reference will be 01001101 “

The alliance between the Cristiano’s and Hunter’s Dream, already looked doomed before the alliance got even begin also just how long would Hei receive orders to terminate the Cristianos?

Loretta would move to put her hand out, allowing Hei to shake it, closing their deal through only verbal acknowledgement. The hunter before he'd do so would hear Loretta's closing statement. Taking down Nick was free game, but Worwick he'd have to complete a secondary objective. Taking out all the famiglia heads and giving her complete control over Ergastulum. A very high price to pay and one would think Hei'd give it a few moments to consider it but the man nearly instantly responded. Even if he had to through hell, Worwick would go down for he had something he needed back. Something that was taken away from the hunter.

"Very well. By the echoes, I shall alter the original agreement. To take down all the mafia heads and their aces instead of only the Gangsters" Hei would say, shaking her hand while taking out a strange coin from his left pocket.

"However. To solidify this change in the original contract, I'd require a blood mark. Feel free to use this and return it to me or the dream. Do not try to attempt forgery. You do not want to find yourself on the bad side of the dream. It can quickly turn into a nightmare."

The hunter would warn Loretta to sign with honesty instead of forgery. Should she inspect the coin more carefully, she'd spot a little button at the bottom of the coin, revealing that it can open up. There, a hidden compartment shows a divided surface. On the left was the imprint of a fingerprint coated in blood. Which was most likely Hei's. To the right was an empty spot, one where Loretta could place hers, no doubt. Whether she'd take care of that now or not, Hei would require directions or a new lead.

"So any suggestions or do you already have a plan in mind?"

Elsewhere, within Ergastulum many mafia houses in fear of their life were seeking additional help by either forging alliances or in one case calling in the aid of the hunter's dream themselves. One such house was the Monroe family, who took matter in his own hands to make certain his legacy would live on. A direct line to the hunter's dream was established, with one of their operators taking the call and making the final preparation.

"Yes Mr Monroe. We've received your order and the contract has been signed. Within this price range, you are eligible for a first star hunter. We've dispatched her a few moments ago. Expect her arrival within the hour. Do you require additional information, Mr Monroe?" The operator would say, revealing that within this price range a first start hunter had been acquired. Perhaps Monroe figured this amount of money would give him higher value, but the prices within the dream were not cheap. But given their track record, finding one that could not do the job was a rarity.

On the outskirts of Ergastulum a single car was headed towards the divided city and its neutral zone. When peered into the car a driver was at the front with 3 girls at the back. The one in the middle having just finished a call, while to her left and right a few groupies could be spotted. Or at least two girls who were infatuated with the older one.

"Kyaaa! Who'd have guessed we'll see Quanxi-sama in action!" - The one on the right cried out in excitement.
"......" - The one on the left looked away in embarrassment.

"It's been ages since I've fought another member of the Dream. I wonder who it is?"

Which member of the dream would be victorious in this turf war?

Loretta would look on as Hiei would inform her of the blood mark. She liked what she heard as he pulled out a coin then to give it to her. She would open up the coin revealing a one side a red fingerprint and the other was awaiting hers. She would comply by putting her fingerprint, then take a moment and hand it back.

" Plan, i suggest we hunt them down one by one. " ... she would say.

"Yes Mr Monroe. We've received your order and the contract has been signed. Within this price range, you are eligible for a first star hunter. We've dispatched her a few moments ago. Expect her arrival within the hour. Do you require additional information, Mr Monroe?"

Mr. Monro was quite as he heard the operator. Though he had other things on his mind. " Yes i require additional information, also could you transfer me over a higher power? I want to make a deal to sway the current hunter here to change his target? "

Mr. Monro had the current power in mind as it would cause a huge disturbance, but knew had to act now. His goal was to eradicate the threat of the Cristiano's the ones who have tried many coup's in the past but always failed. He knew they would be behind all the events that occurred in the last 24 hours.

The contract had been updated successfully. Hei took the coin back and pocketed it, returning it back to the Dream would happen eventually. There were deposits all across the world, one only had to know and look carefully. "Sounds easy enough. Just point me into the right direction. We'll go one by one." Hei said, rubbing his eyes. Even with all the action he had a few moments ago, he still had plenty of energy to spare. One thing was for certain. Only one clan would reign supreme after today. "Also, I'd suggest requesting the contract yourself in the future, Madam Cristiano. It'd have saved me from the drag and annoyance I'll have to deal with later. It was one of your own people who requested the original one, after all. Were you not aware of this? " Hei said, revealing someone within the Cristiano family had laid the foundations for the Gangsta's demise.

"My apologies, Mr Monroe. You can only request an audience with the Elder if you sign on for the Zodiac program. And to be honest, even with that, it is highly unusual he'll grant you the opportunity to meet and or speak with him. Everything from Hunter until 3-star hunter has an operator assigned to it. I am your liaison with first star hunter Quanxi. I can assure you she's at the upper echelon within first star hunters. " The operator said, leaving Monroe with some time to think. Before hearing his request once more, she'd more or less give the answer to his last question.
"I also have to add that we cannot change the requests of an earlier signed contract. It is bound by blood, as you yourself will have to do in but a few moments. Conversely, one cannot change the contract you've made just now, either."

The lady at the phone added, which would confuse Monroe. But as on cue a knock on his door would arrive and when opened up one of his goons would reveal a paper bag. Within it was a coin, similar to the one Loretta had signed elsewhere on Ergastulum. Inside, one portion was already marked, it only awaited Monroe's.

"It is our only rule within the Dream. A contract cannot be altered nor bought out by a third party once it is made. It is to prevent clients to one up one another. It turns everything into too much of a grey area. "

"If there is anything else I can help you with?"

The operator now remained silent, awaiting Mr Monroe to either prolong or finish this call. Should he try to decide to upgrade his package to the Zodiac program, he'd best to remind himself the exuberant amount of money it required. The cost of a single Zodiac was so high that even if all the families within Ergastulum funnel their money together, they'd still come out short. That was the fame and pedigree the 12 zodiacs were.

They were feared and famed for their failure rate was 5% - The true Elite.

Hearing the Hunter's word, Loretta would not take a second away from concentrating on what he had to say. Before she'd speak after the young man spoke his two cents. She'd wait then take her pipe before taking it in and then breathing it out. " My suggestion would be the Corsica Family, secretive bastards. They must be planning something, i have my moles in other guilds like i know they have their moles in ours. " she'd then chuckle before finishing with " Of course, its been a long time coming. I've wanted them dead for a while ... "

Just as the conversation got interesting a member of the Cristiano family would walk up to the two " My lady and Hunter, i have report from our spy within the Monroe Famiglia. They've contacted the Hunter's Dream and turned their attention to us, with Hunters that have departed. " this would alert Loretta as she turned to the hunter. " I thought the Hunter's Dream can't be sanctioned to more than one family, whats going on? "

Meanwhile back at the Monroe Family, the insider who'd leaked the news would hang up on the phone who'd be panicking, with tears strolling down. " Please forgive me " as a bang and thud with red paint splattering against the wall dripping down the floor with a little dent as the head smacked against the wall. Placing his gun back into the hollister, revealing a man with a navy suit, with slick white hair streamlined down the middle in a slickback haircut and glasses. " War will now erupt and Cristiano's your beginning has already ended " as he vanished by walking out and gone in the dark hall.

Hei stood silent as he took note of Loretta's suggestion. The first stop in this plan would be the Corsica family. Alright the hunter thought to himself he got a name and some notoriety. So finding one of them wouldn't be too hard. He'd go from there. Before Hei was about to leave, another member of the Cristiano family would interrupt with some interesting piece of information. Someone else had ordered a hunter to do the same they were about to do. A full turf war was about to happen, there was no way around that any longer. Loretta would voice her concerns and disbelief that this was happening. But Hei quickly rebutted what she said. "No, it's slightly more complicated. But for the sake of being brief. Let's just say, in this instance, its restriction is one Hunter for one group or family. It's to prevent inner strife and for our goals to become too hazy. Here it's still simple. I'm here to defeat all the hunters, and my colleague probably will get the same order. " Hei would say, turning around, showing only one side of his face, scratching the other in thought.

"But this situation is highly unusual though. The operator surely must've seen an already pending contract within Ergastulum. This fellow must have a lot of cash. I'm betting a first star hunter at the minimum is being dispatched. Let's just hope it isn't two or higher."

Hei would say before taking his mask back from within his coat and equipped it once more. This time turning his face back to Loretta.

"We've got a head start, though. The new arrival shouldn't be here yet. So point me towards the Corsica family. It'll be a race against the clock."

Hei said calmly. But if he could finish off the other families before this new arrival could interfere, their contract would get voided. The chances of this happening are pretty slim, though.

Two families at war had already erupted, the beginning of a psychological warfare. Spies had already snuck into most the families each with a rep in another family. The two families at war was the Corsica who wanted to retain the balance and the Cristiano's who embroiled on a coup with the assistance of the Dream's Hiei. Despite the target being locked on the Gangster's had already involved the entire families from one shape or another.

Loretta hearing what Hiei stated she stayed mute, despite everything she felt pressure that it wasn't just her but the others had already made their own very moves. Everyone else had the same brain wave length, in trying to take out the other. Though unlike before many of the contractors were quickly brought out.

She then turned to Hiei and asked " Would the admins confide in you to reveal who else has requested one of you hunters to arrive here? " she had felt pressure she wanted to take out the family who hired one of them. She breathed heavily wanting answers as he family remained quite behind her.

Going back to the Monroe family mansion the boss had ventured into the hall as the light of the moon beamed down in the long stretched hall. He'd make his way to a room revealing a guest of another family, or in this case guild. It was none other than the Paulkee Guild who had waved the white flag. " I am with you on this, the Cristiano's have overplayed their hand and we are with you to take them out. " a feminine voice said as another spoke over a speaker " I agree, i am with you as lets begin the alliance of the Monroes, Paulklee's and Corsica's. Though lets make contact with the Gangster's too as we can join forces each with a Hunter to hunt the hunted "

The monroe family lit up his cigar taking a moment of a pause then chuckling " I'll want you all to check for spies in your families from them scummy Cristiano's " alerting the other bosses.

The families that wanted order began to make their move each contacting the Hunter's with hunter's being hired to thwart the Cristiano's and Hiei.

Ergastulum

"Hmm. They really didn't explain a lot to you didn't they?" Hei said as he turned around once more. Which was likely the final time, they were after all losing precious time discussing this. "No, they would not. But given the amount of families here, fear the worst case-scenario. Fortunately, I don't see them being able to hire someone two star and up. So it's an even playing field." Hei would say turning his head and now showing his back to Loretta. "Now, if you'd excuse me. I've got work to do." Hei said and leaving the street casually at first before vanishing from sight, his speed was remarkable. Loretta's grunt would spot a mini den den mushi on the ground. A way for them to keep communications if something of worth ensued.

Elsewhere, within the Monroe family mansion, the remaining houses were completing their alliances. The Paulkee guild accepted the terms, while the Corsica's accepted the terms over a transmission. The only one left were the Gangsta's who unknowingly had already suffered the most loses right now. The meeting ended and all the families went over to direct encrypted lines towards The Dream's operators. Contracts were signed, payments were wired and before long both the Paulkee and Corsica families had hunter's of their own.

As mentioned before, the Monroe family had the first-star veteran Quanxi
The Corsica family had a promising rookie known as Mafuyu
And last but not least, the Paulkee guild had the infamous Nagumo

Three hunters with remarkable skill and talent compared to the rising star Hei, who wasn't particularly popular within the Dream's circles. The rumours that he had ties with the Elder gave his rise to fame, some malcontent. The turf war would finally be heading towards the main event.

So these are the 3 hunters. They're first-stars just like Hei, so their levels would be the average of this island 45/50. I've given you the appearances, you can/may do with them how you seem fit. On the Dream's page is also the darkness breathing style if you wish to copy that. But you're not forced to. Many within the Dream use different fighting styles, so don't feel constraint with that.

Each of the famiglia's of Ergastulum minus the Gangsta's hired a member of the Hunter's Dream Guild of highly officiated hunters. The information also reached the Guild of the Hunter's that are to be hired to work in collaboration in attempting to terminate the Cristiano's. The three family heads, Uranos Corsica the lader of the Corsica Family, Daniel Monroe of the Monroe Family & Gina Paulklee of the Paulklee Guild each made contact with their respective hunters. A den den mushi line would be arranged to set up a line that would link all the family heads and their hunters in one call. The main topic was to work in collaboration in terminating the Cristiano's and assiting one another in doing so to terminate the contract of the Cristiano's and Hiei.

Loretta would give off a smile knowing Hiei was now on the hunt, to take down their similar targets. Quanxi, Mafuyu and Nagumo would all arrive with their respective drivers to pick them up. Loretta turned to her number two Lance who would open the doors of the limo, with Loretta getting in and smiling knowing there was no turning back. Marco would be taking a puff with him then tapping the cigar then breathing out with a thick smoke exhaling.

Meanwhile the other families would be making their moves, Worwick and Nicholas would overhear the antics of what happened to some of the members of their family. Nicholas would look at Worwick with angst mumbling before he would make some hand signs as Worwick responded " Yeah let's hunt the bastards down " as the duo would watch from afar noting the Cristiano's getting in their limo's turning the corner to enter the junction to leave the area.

Ergastulum

Hei moved around through the streets of Ergastulum, weapons holstered and mask within the confines of his coat. Using the walk to recover some precious lost stamina, in the meanwhile his mantra cast a wide net around him. Scanning and bringing back as much information as he could. Power levels, state of being, emotion, killing intent. All that sort of things. If there were other hunters around he'd sense them at a heart beat, with other fighters included. They could perhaps mask their desires and emotions as much as he could. But a powerful soul in this place more often than not meant a mafia member which in turn could draw him closer to his target.

His one lead had let him towards the Gym, unfortunately that was a dead end forcing him to back to the drawing board.

But something, a gut feeling told him he'd not have to wait very long.

"Nothing is ever easy within the Dream, is it?" Hei spoke out loud to himself.

Meanwhile the other famiglia's all were alligned and finalising their alliance. They had something on the agenda, but what that was to be revealed soon.

Heading back to the junction as the Cristiano's Famiglia main members were entering the junction, Loretta sat in her car peering outside her car window. She sighed whilst lost in thought, whereas the enforcer of the famiglia remained in the car trailing the main car. The car would hit the break from the red lights as it ventured through a tight road as rubble began to flicker and a huge thud could be heard following a car accident. What the Cristiano's didn't know this was all a set up to keep them in this location as Nicholas jumped right on the bonnet, his hand on his sword handle as he let out a swift cut slicing the cheaffuears head as Loretta remained in shock. Worwick appeared unnoticeable without any of the Cristiano's even knowing he was there. He then approached the gar placing his hand to his side pulling out a gun and shooting Lancelot point blank in the head. A huge echoing bang could be heard resonated a good few blocks away, with blood splattering the handle and window that drenched Worwicks side.

Loretta stormed out her car oblivious to just what was happening, turning her head around as Worwick who had got to her face to face with a gun held at her head. " A little tweetie bird said you hired a hunters dream to kill us. " that was followed with an ominous sinister chuckle as he fired a few rounds with her body twitching.

Nicholas appeared beside Worwick, with Worwick saying as the both stood over the corpse of Loretta " I guess its time we meet that Hunter now "

Just like that Cristiano's family was assassinated, though was the contract still active?
