It has moments of VFX every now and then from season 1 but it steadily gets more used depending on the storyline

Michael is in the comics but the tv show version and the comic are two different iterations of Michael.
Lucifer TV show (i have to use "Lucifer" as we still unsure whether Supernatural TV show is part of the DC/Vertigo Universe) version had many changes to the original comic but it's loosely basing itself of certain aspects of the comic. I can't even list how many changes but it's easy to spot the biggest one to three or so.
Like Lucifer is originally blonde and has a scar on his face, the other Charlie doesn't exist in the comics, Chloe neither and Amanidiel is nothing but fodder in the comics. Oh and not least Michael is the one with the child (Lucifer has one too).

First in the trailer, I wasn't a fan of having a twin but later on when watching Ep1 to 6, I think that's there more to it. I like the idea of Mike being the asshole brother in this iteration and Lu in all of eternity was the better child. Lmao.

well we gotta wait for next year or so for the second part of season 5 to find the true reasons and yet i'm confused as why we haven't seen any of the following characters yet;
Constantine
The Archangel Gabriel, (If Supernatural is part of it then maybe Dean, Sam and Castiel too)
Adam
Etrigan
Morpheus / Sandman
Death (other than Morpheus/Sandman and Death it would be the other Endless members)
Beelzebub, Belial and the other Demons
I would event mention Silver City / Heaven to be seen and Limbo itself

Maybe now that Netflix is in charge but i doubt it, it's kinda too late to really introduce them as characters
perhaps we'll get some references to them, especially Sandman and Death or they#ll be the only ones introduced.
With that said, it might be better leaving them out, don't want them ruined.

With how far we are into Lucifer i doubt it now, though hope they at least had hints here and there referencing them. Whether cameos or mentioning of their names.
Though surprised, Sandman "Morpheus" hasn't been mentioned in the earlier episodes as maybe like how we had the special Azrael episode we could get one with him or Etrigan or Beelzebub. One of the trio as they play a huge part in Lucifer's mythos in the comics.
If anything maybe they could reference the favor that Constantine did for Lucifer with Mazikeen in Season 6 to wrap that up from what happened for the Crisis event.
Edit: Nvm Sandman is being done by Netlfix not Amazon Prime. So yeah they could still pull it off in Season 6 or end of Season 5
imo the best actor for Sandman to be played by would be Benedict Cumberbatch or James McAvoy

I second that.
Like i said, some references to the Endless and perhaps even cameos, that much i expect but nothing more than that.
Again, maybe it's better that way.
Speaking of characters never to appear, i really wished for Elaine Bellloc to make an apperance but honestly after few episodes in
when i first started watching Lucifer, i knew that won't happen.
Guess Charlie is the closest we'll ever get to that and that's kinda sad.

I suppose the best thing they could do is mention the Endless, then name them one at a time then end with Dream holding the key's of Hell. That way would be a nice way to introduce him and then have him leave.
Best thing is to have Charlie much older in Season 6, so roughly around the same age as Elaine in the comics. Then maybe a good cameo of Lucifer, an older Charlie and another who is reported for Season 6.
The one who played under that awesome name in Deadpool movie, something neutron exploder. Apparently she is to play a role of an Angel who is wanting to rebel like Lucifer

Isn't there a Sandman series coming soon?
They already had that with Remiel, wasted potential really if you ask me.
Still, it sounds interesting but i don't have my hopes up.

Since Netflix are making Sandman, i would say that would be the best way to introduce him. Though they don't have to show his appearance/ or who's casted as Sandman but maybe have a shadowy figure and it's Neil Gaiman that speaks and we see Lucifer refer him as "Dream" or "Sandman". Instead of a full conversation or such just have it where the camera is pointed at Lucifer and we see Lucifer looking like he's talking to the camera.
If they don't show Sandman then maybe Death herself or Destiny
