Merveille is a place in the Grand Line called the "Hidden Land in the Clouds". It is where the Golden Lion, Shiki and his doctor, Indigo, created many mutated animals in the hopes of having an army to overthrow the world. Not only does it contain Shiki's army, it also contains people who have feathers on their arms that enable flight. The island is also home to the rare IQ plant, in which Indigo used as a basis for his SIQ drugs for creating the mutant army, as well as the Daft Green.

The Rise of the Lord, Goddamn Hellfire Death Scythe
Brief Background
It was almost a year ago since Larsi and Gambit fought the Redcount Pirates. Thenceforth, their whereabouts were not recorded in any news across the globe. However, other low-ranking members of the crew have appeared in Alabasta, one of their territories to defend the land against Joby of the Everything Pirates - they succeeded. However, at some point after their battle with the Redfield, he had also had an extreme battle against Vista, a strong swordsman, and Dew and King, a brawler and a swordsman respectively, killing them all in the process. After that, they all returned to their base stationed in Paradise.

Returning to the base, Larsi, the captain of the Silver Hair Pirates announced to the crew that he was retiring from piracy until further notice and so, he appointed Gambit to be the interim captain of the crew. Gambit then stayed on the same island and trained to the height of his limit, surpassing even the most elite of them all including Larsi himself. Having been the captain's punching bag for over six months, his durability and stamina became unrealistic for humankind. His strength had also reached a certain level where he could rival even the devil fruit-powered blows and strikes coming from Larsi. He had also learned multiple disciplines of science, martial arts, and weapon mastery to the point that he was regarded as the finest and the most elegant martial artist of the entire crew. And at last, he has trained himself to allow his attacks to surmount even the toughest tempest using Haki and it had been rumored that his Observation Haki had reached a level where he could see a little into the future.

After the appointment, Gambit decided to gather all the members of the squad and formed elite forces who will join him in his conquest of the New World. His crew is called the Dark Fortress, following the name of the ship that Gambit and the other member built during their hiatus.

The Ship
The ship has a length of 65 meters and a beam of 9 meters. The figurehead is designed as a head of a bat with its fangs open and where an energy cannon is placed. The tallest of the three masts of the vessel stood about 34 meters, while the other two were around 29 to 30.

On top of that, she is heavily armed and carries 22 retractable twelve-pound cannons: 12 on the gun deck, 10 on the upper deck, and 1 energy cannon each mounted on the bow and stern as its chase guns. Its full broadside contains 16 cannonballs that weigh 150 lbs.

Commander of the 4th Ship, Dark Fortress
As the interim captain of the Silver Hair Pirates and the commander and of the 4th Ship (Dark Fortress), Gambit now has the authority over the lower-ranking subordinates. And after building the jet-black ship, they decided to take on another legendary pirate of the old age.

Several Days Ago
It was a fair morning on the Laughing Archipelago, the crew was enjoying their breakfast underneath the dim sunrise and cool breeze of the ocean. Sending the very fresh air produced by the lush canopy of trees and surrounding waters into their lungs as they feasted on the roasted wild boar and turkey T-Bag raised in the farm.

After the meal, a tall 18th-century gentleman rose to his height as he burned a stick of cigar, combing his black hair backward. Glancing at each of the crew with his menacing crimson upturned eyes that match the color of the diamond emblem on his forehead, he spoke, "Everyone! Today is going to be the last day our feet would stay in this land. For when the sun meets the center of the sky and sheds light on the entirety of the forest, we will sail to the New World."

Pausing briefly, he puffed the cigar. Quickly, the smoke dove into his lungs before releasing them upwards in which rapidly dispersed like a fart in the whirlwind. He continued, "Coming with me is T-Bag, and he shall govern the Knotting Squad (A group of 10 Rope Users), the (10) Snipers and Gunners who will be led by Reynolds, the (10) Brawlers who will be led by Garnett, and lastly the (10) Weapon Specialist who will be led by me."

The members who are called for quickly stood up as soon as their names registered into their ears. Quickly, they gathered all the types of equipment that they might need in the journey, stocks of foods and drinks, vivre cards, log poses, and maps.

"Commander! Where are we headed?", asked Garnett.

"You'd find that out as soon as reached the location. For nobody has ever attempted to interrupt him. As a man of culture and science, he is the man to confront.", Gambit responded.

"I will expect everyone to board the Dark Fortress 30 minutes before we sail. Anyone who will be late will no longer be allowed to join. Now go!", as he fixed his suit adorned with a three-belted white inside shirt that goes with a pair of crossed black suspenders to wrap it, a pair of black arm sleeves with a couple of cuff-links on it, a pair of red belts around his waist which holster his wooden cane, and paired with black jeans and black metal-toed boots.

"Larsi! We shall see you again. Looking at his chamber from afar. Goodbye my friend.", he uttered before wrapping himself in his black trench coat.

Pirates. Marines. Piracy. Justice. Great Wars. Pirate Kings. Riches. The Great Age of Piracy. Those words were at the tip of the tongue of any strong man in the world. Some fought on one side, some on the other, some somewhere inbetween. But greatness and adventure were what most seeked. Such was the nature of this world. Somewhere at the top of the food chain was a man that had once rivalled the great pirate Gol D. Roger. The Golden Lion, Shiki. He had since fallen from grace and had been imprisoned in Impel Down. But after a legendary escape, and a thunderous battle against both Fleet Admiral Sengoku, and Garp ''the Hero'', Shiki now once again roamed the world. But, he was out of sight. Plotting something. High up above the clouds. That was Shiki's life now.

INDIGO! OIII INDIGOOO!!!

Shiki roared like the golden lion that he was. He floated in midair, moving about the metallic hallfways of Indigo's lab as if he was floating on an invisible escalator. With his arms folded across his chest, and the steering wheel stuck on the top of his head like an early morning rooster, he made his way toward where Indigo was. Indigo heard him from afar, but did not let himself be distracted, for he was working on something voltatile. When Shiki barged in, knocking something over, Indigo jumped in fright and the material he was working on exploded in front of him, sending him to the floor.

Indigo came to, clearing dust off of his face, his eccentric haircut in ruins.

Gah damn it...

Indigo complained to himself, but not to Shiki.

OI INDIGO, HOW'S THAT DRUG GOING?!

Shiki inquired. Off to the side of the room, tinkering with something in front of her was a dark-skinned woman with elven ears. She seemed busy, though she was always paying attention to Shiki and Indigo.

Kukukuku, I have already perfected it weeks ago without telling you. I wanted to surprise you.

Indigo said, grinning mischievously. Shiki's eyes widened in surprise, before a marvelous grin appeared on his face.

JIHAHAHA! SHOW ME THE WAY, INDIGO!

Shiki roared as the two left the lab, leaving the elven woman on her own. The sun was starting to set, but surprisingly, the island that Shiki was on, was floating in the sky above the clouds. And so, Shiki's island was always the last one left with a glimmer of light. Truly a home worthy for the golden lion. His plan, equally impressive, was nearing completion.

JIHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Shiki lauged, his laughter disappearing into the distance.

Days have passed and nights went darker each time the Dark Fortress was smoothly dancing in the surface of the ocean's wild waves and underneath the foreign skies. The New World breeze kept telling them that the weather wasn't in their favor; it was cruel yet well-calculated. There were annoyingly a massive number of clouds blocking the moonlight and not a single seagull tried to mesmerize them like those in the Paradise that hovered over their ship. Rains. It suddenly poured down to earth, adding hustles to the sailors. And in a matter of minutes, a hurricane emerged out of the darkness! The fully-rigged ship would encounter a taste of an act of god.

"This is not good, Pretty!", said T-Bag to Gambit (Pretty) as the latter stirred the wheel. Gambit looked at the sky; he knew its danger.

The rough touches of waves on the wooden sides of the vessel granted a melodic cry as the decks of it rattled every time it danced with it, swinging left and right in an attempt to outmaneuver the climate. Swirling into their ears were the alto whistles of the ocean gales, testing the strength of both masts and sails. The front sail that bore the commander's own Jolly Roger - a red diamond embedded between 2 black bat wings adorned with flames, as well as its topsail with marking of "GAMBIT" in gothic lettering, fluttered heavily every time the mixture of rain and wind blew it. "Reef the sails!!!" T-Bag ordered his Knotting Squad.

As the ship played with the wind, men ran astern and aft and tossing themselves upwards and everywhere. They were not in panic! These were men in action. Rope in action. Five rope users shot their ropes into the mainmast, locking it before pulling themselves upwards. Running onto the yards, they began to slack the mainsails. Five others would do the same to the other pole while the other crews who had lesser experience in sailings, particularly the brawlers would use the ratlines to crawl up. When they reached the top, the other crew would swing out around the top while the rest would take the safer passage through the lubber hole inside. When they reached the yard, the men would spread out along the yard using the foot ropes for support.

"KG! Reynolds!", T-Bag continued. "Drop the anchors! Let the ship hold into the waters while it last." The two would quickly attend to the order soaked and dashing.

Gambit continued to control the ship by countering the mad ocean. His cigarette who had been sitting in his mouth for two minutes was dripping. He then tried to reduce the strain and motion by pointing one of the ship's ends toward the waves. Having been able to secure their position, they held onto it while trying to sail slowly. Men were restless. Clinging onto the tempest. They hold on to the ropes and bars and railing as hard as they could. Their lives depended on it.

Hours later and the storm had passed. "Drop the sails! Sky has cleared!!", TBag yelled. Three sails were pulled in tight, and the boom is centered down the centerline of the boat. The curve of the sails resembled the shape of an airplane’s wing, generating lift—a force that, in combination with the effect of the keel, results in the ship being pulled forward. "We sail at full speed!! It's sun over the yardarm!"

As the sails were being attended to, other men, dropped the butts against the deck. Others held onto their knees, panting heavily. Others were catching breath from the sky as their heads were held up. T-Bag walked closely towards Gambit, staggering on his feet. "Huff. Huff. Huff."

"You really are a sailor Tee! Can't believe you are a better navigator than Haddock and Koujiro.", Gambit praised Teodoro as he sat on underneath the helm, lighting another cigarette, this time with his metallic lighter.

"Don't mention it.", the other reacted. "Boys!!!! Gimme a goddamn beer!!", yelled at the two cabin boys, B1 and B2.

Several minutes had passed and the dull roar of distant sea creatures relaxed their way to another dimension. And as they headed east, they sliced through the beam of sunlight that shone down to the morning sea, reaching for that horizon.

A moment later, the ship was speeding to its fullest, cutting through the surface of a foreign dark blue sea. It was deep. Yet the shadows of the sea monsters lingering below their eyes were blending well in their sights and the noon sky. Dozens of them would paramount one after the other, splashing salt waters everywhere. Until.

"What the hell was that?", T-Bag, KG, and Reynolds wondered altogether, staring out to the distant lands floating into the skies, wrapped in a bubble-like substance.

"?!!", Gambit was flustered with what he saw. He quickly rose to his feet. "A floating archipelago?!"

Suddenly the astonishment shifted to amusement. Their eyes sparkled and blinked spontaneously. Jaws dropped in awe! The entire crew opened their mouths and in chorus, "And a rainbow!"

"Brace yourselves. We have arrived. It's the floating archipelago. The Merveille. It's where Shiki lives. A legendary pirate of Roger's era.", the Prince uttered.

And as his men turned to him, he displayed a serious look as he stood at the bow of the Dark Fortress, lighting his cigarette.

Shiki, a man of great dreams, and Indigo, the man that could make those dreams a reality. The two of them had made their way to Merveille's main control center. The two walked inside and ended up in a room full of massive monitors.

I thought you were bringing me to see the animals, Indigo!

Shiki said, somewhat displeased. Indigo nodded and reaffirmed.

Yes. As it turns out, the animals that I created are wild beasts nonetheless. Leaving them all in the same location would lead to them fighting for dominance and killing each other.

Which is why I had to deliver the animals to different parts of Merveille, giving each species their own habitat to dominate.

Indigo explained, Shiki somewhat following.

Showing them to you on the cameras is the only way, unless we want to fly around for days on end to visit them all.

Indigo explained, Shiki understanding and impatient at the same time.

Right right. Now then, SHOW THEM TO ME!

The golden lion roared with a happy grin on his face. Indigo grinned and turned the monitors on. Shiki's eyes widened in surprise, seeing the dream come up in front of him. The cameras showed multiple locations across Merveille, and beasts of terrifying power roaming those locations.

An expanse of ruins, overgrown with moss and other greenery. Roaming there were the massive Don Kamakiriri, the large Land Gator, the mighty Toramata and the dangerous Terror Guma.

A massive desert. Ruling the desert were the Guntai Ari, a tribe of warrior ants, as well as the dangerous Black Brothers, three powerful scorpion brothers.

The Sunken Ruins, an abandoned city underwater, and home to the Baku Zame, a terrifying snake-like shark, Blue Jack, a powerful and enormous whale, as well as the Ikahula, a tentacled beast. Even the great Oh Umi Gappa lurked these waters.

The snowy mountains, giving place to the Shirokage, a warrior sloth, the Seiuchi Mountain, a mountainous walrus, Mammoth Dense, a create truly massive, and even the powerful Ettousaurus.

Lastly, even the main island of Merveille, where Shiki and his men resided, had terrifying creatures roaming. The Agehaguera butterfly, the many dangerous Cowballs, the warrior Del Kong, the skilled Monkey Troopers, the unsurpassed Mori Dako, as well as the King of them all, and by the look on Shiki's face, his favorite, the Shogun Jishi.

Shiki's eyes glimmered at the sight of all of these marvelous creatures that would one day help him take the New World.

INDIGO YOU AMAZING SPECIMEN YOU!

JIHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I AM A TRULY HAPPY MAN TODAY!

The golden lion, Shiki, roared. His dream was becoming a reality.

Soaring to the Skies

Gambit stood at the prow of their battleship, the Dark Fortress, still puffing the same cigarette. Facing his crew who were all in business, all prepared for an upcoming battle. The ten gun specialists were all geared up with their iconic vests, tuxedo, tight pants, and black hat; holstering around their waists two 30-bullet magazine pistols and a classic bolt action M47 . Behind them are the ten ballers/brawlers under KG's leadership, fully equipped with Spalding balls, Celtics basketball jerseys, and Green and White Jordan 1. Surrounding them were the rope users, all trained by Teodoro in the art of rope action. They were wearing just a plain white T-shirt paired with ragged blue jeans and cowboy hats to supplement the ropes around their waists - following the fashion set of their master T-Bag. And at last, the weapon specialists, formerly street fighters, all in their tiger-looks, waiting for the signal from their commander. They only wore classic medieval outfit with no helmets on, sabers holstered in their left, spears they hold on to. The breeze of the foreign ocean blew past them. Holding onto their hats to avoid being carried by the strong wind, they stared at Gambit and so as T-Bag who was just beneath him.

Gambit puff his cigarette. Drawing in a deep breath, it flared. The smoke dove into his lungs and in his mind, it's either death or victory. He knew that the only way to become a legend is by defeating legends themselves. Exhaling, the smoke leaving his mouth instantly dispersed in the air. And with one last puff of it, he finished the cigarette, flicking it off the ship and into the waters. He opened his mouth and began to speak. "In our lives, we always dream of becoming stronger. We trained harder each day, surpassing our limits and defeating what we were yesterday. We do this not to survive but live our lives! We are drawn to the stars that give light to our darkest nights. We are drifted by the wind that gives life to our dying comrades. We are Silver Hair Pirates."

The crew listened to him closely, pounding their chests! Gambit went on, "We carry on the legacy of Larsi!!!! We are demons!!! And nobody shall ever take that away from us. So live your lives, die for your comrades, and be the stars!", Gambit spoke with all his heart, inspiring and agitating the hearts of his mates. And a massive emotion uproared aboard!

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!"

And with that, T-Bag already knew what's going next so he stepped back as the prince flexed his right arm. And finally, Gambit and the rest of the heavy hitters activated their blacksmithed wings, resembling demonic wings. In this form, their wings were double their size. Afterward, he told the 2 cabin boys, "You boys stay here. Guard the ship!". He turned to the remaining knights who immediately responded with a nod. Preparing to fly, they flapped their wings and ascended to the heavens.

Back in the Dark Fortress, one of the cabin boys was too busy staring above as his comrades flew incredibly. "What a sequence they got there. I wish I was one of those who flew."

The other boy reacted, "You could say that. But somebody has to guard this sh-"

"What?", ask the other as he noticed he suddenly stopped talking. Looking at him, they found something strange.

"Look over here!!!", the other shouted. "The sea! It's-"

Both of them gathered at the starboard of the vessel. Looking down, they noticed that the water was somewhat unstable. "This could be a huge sea king!!! Prepare!"

Suddenly, the two of them heard the rumbling of the sea. It was then followed by the sudden shift of the sky's demeanor. It became catastrophic!!! It's as if a horrendous freak of nature was about to be unleashed from the depth of the ocean. And with just a split of a second. A massive push underneath the keel transpired, blowing the entire ship above in very rapid motion!

"BRACE YOUR FUCKING SELVES!!!!!! WE ARE FLYING!"

Indigo and Shiki continued to marvel at the sights of the great beasts on the monitors. Shiki, more than Indigo, was the one doing the marveling, and it was clear as day that he was excited for the years to come. However, that excitement didn't last long when suddenly, one of the monitors picked up something rather strange. A group of individuals, throwing one another higher and higher up into the air with a very peculiar combination. Indigo's cameras on one of the islands picked them up as they approached the island. Shiki grimaced, displeased that his joy was being interrupted. Annoyed, Shiki asked what was going on.

Oi Indigo, who are those people?!

Shiki roared, Indigo squinting his eyes and looking closer.

No idea, but they're not our own. What should we do?

Indigo replied, inquiring. Suddenly, an idea popped up in Shiki's mind. His mouth morphed into a big grin and he spoke with excitement.

Let's feed them to the beasts.

The golden lion said. Indigo nodded and reaffirmed.

If the beasts are worth anything, then they'll dispose of them. If not, their weakness and incompletion will be revealed. We cannot raid the world with a bunch of beasts that can't even take care of a few dozen men.

Indigo said, agreeing with Shiki. And with that plan in action, Gambit and his men were allowed to land on one of the islands. Indigo and Shiki continued to stay in Merveille's main control center. From the main control center, they would observe how well their beasts would do.

OOC: You can choose which of the above introduced areas you want to land in.

Land Fall

After the rapid succession of acrobatic exercises Gambit and his crew have performed, they finally reach the soil above. The first to land were the ones on the bottom (the gunners) as they needed to take another spin in order to bring everyone a couple of meters above the ground. It was then followed by the first group of rope users and then the other snipers again before the rest of the rope users made their landing, and so on. Gambit then pulled back his wings and returned to his normal form in which the siblings quickly jumped off him to join the squad.

"Now that we're here, it's time to do business. I won't allow this opportunity to slip away. If you guys are ready, we will go to that large chamber and infiltra-". His speech was cut off when they heard a whistling sound of breeze and tide just behind them which carried a spiraling stream of upward waters.

"What the hell is that?!", T-Bag asked in awe.

Seconds later, the knock-up stream would slowly fade to revert to the sea of origin where they saw the Dark Fortress lying on it. The 2 cabin boys cried out for help. "Commander!!!!!!!!!! Help us!!!"

"What the?!", the crew on the ground spoke in surprise.

"T-BAG!! And all the rope users, I need your help in pulling the ship here! Otherwise, they will be destroyed going back down. Now!!", the commander ordered.

Rope Users: "Aye!!!"

And with that, T-Bag and the 10 rope users gathered in front and simultaneously launched their chain and ropes respectively in order to salvage the vessel. As rapidly as they could, they swung their weapons over their heads and bound the vessel in every possible side so equally while T-Bag and his chains go after the mainmast itself. After binding the ship, they immediately pulled it inwards with Gambit's assistance who quickly returned back to his beast form and supporting the keel so that it would be damaged heavily upon landing.

Dropping the ship, it somewhat made quite a crashing sound upon impact but not enough to damage it. "You guys coo??", T-Bag asked them.

Cabin boys: "Yeah! Thanks to you, sir! "

"So what exactly happened there? Don't tell me-"

"You're right T-Bag.", Baldemor, a 48-year old gunner cut him. "It could be the work of the knock-up stream but we didn't know it actually existed here."

"So we actually wasted our time and came out nothing but ignorant fools stretching and juggling all our fucking selves in acrobat just to get here????!!!!!!", T-Bag said staring at Gambit. "Huh? Huh?!", he continued approaching Gambit, almost scolding him.

"Welp! At least the boys and the Dark Fortress are alright. We cannot afford to lose the ship and even these snipers could assist us here. And besides, there's no more place to blame each other here nor regret everything. It's happened. It's not like we have a navigator smart enough to determine this.", his counter to TBag.

"This motherfucker!", TBag as he tilted his head sideways in disgust.

Looking around, he finally gave the order to the entire crew. "Our mission is simple, kill Shiki and his pets. Either way, I am pretty sure that he already knew our arrival."

"Wha-what pets?!", Baldemor asked.

Gambit: "He holds the most violent creatures in this land. This information has been leaked by a rat. Thanks to my past connections with the Underground, we are able to gather a valuable piece of information to commence our vision."

With a demonic look on his face, Gambit grinned, Shiki, you're an earthworm trapped within your own cocoon but will never bloom to see the beauty of the flowers. You might have escaped the past, but I, Lord Landayan Morrow was born to erase the old.

Unbeknownst to the entire crew, they landed on the ruins of the floating archipelago where supersized ecosystem was set in place. This ruins were nearby the lone village of Merveille where lived humans who have mutated into winged-race. This village was surrounded by tall lush trees, almost protecting the town from something. Inside were small dwellings made of stones and roofs in fine green huts. It was peaceful but not for long.

Gambit and his goons landed on the soil of Merveille. Specifically, on one of Merveille's islands, the one that housed the expanse of ruins, overgrown with moss and other greenery. When they landed, crows suddenly started to caw and fly out of the trees, and a myriad of other birds did as well. The cawing of the crows and the flight of the birds instilled an ominous feeling into Gambit and his goons. As if something was coming. Was that something that was coming, them? And were the birds fleeing from them? Or were the birds fleeing from something else, and Gambit and his goons would be wise to do the same? Only time would tell.

The ruins, and the moss overgrowing them, had an empty feeling to them. It was a place that used to be full of life, and people, but now no longer was. Now, it was abandoned, and dangerous. Gambit and his guys would have a few minutes to look around, if they so wished, exploring the ruins and all that they had to offer. Which, due to the passage of time and its effect, was not much. However, before long, earlier if any of them had Kenbun-shoku no Haki to their name, they would notice a presence. All sound ceased for a moment, and even the winds stopped blowing. As if everything was coming to a standstill, a calm before the storm.

And then it happened. From behind a ruin, green in its totality and easy to blend in with the greenery, a giant Don Kamakiriri, that is, a giant praying mantis, suddenly rushed out. It was truly a monstrosity - an angry look, sharp blades for front limbs, and a body size larger than any of the ruins and buildings in sight, the Don Kamakiriri rushed Gambit and his companions. As soon as it was upon them, it rose its front right appendage, which was sharp like a sickle in nature, and swung it. Due to the sickle's size, it endangered not one, but all of them, for it was big and long enough to cut the whole group in half.

Right after the Don Kamakiriri's attack, a massive Toramata, that is, a massive tiger, jumped out from behind one of the ruins as well, and came crashing down onto the group from above, swinging its front left paw and aiming to destroy the trespassers in one fell swoop.

Gambit and his goons were not welcomed on Merveille, and the powerful beasts that lurked it would make that clear to them immediately. This was their territory.

Edit:

The praying mantis will be a greater mutated animal while the tiger will be a mutated animal, so their stats are as follows:

The entire team did not pay much attention to the flocks of birds that could be heard and even seen anywhere. They began to manifest off the trees while they're busy attending to drop the ship safely. Certainly, Gambit and his team felt that they disturbed the sleeping nature. Seconds have passed after Gambit talked, they looked around and glanced at each other. They were ready to scout.

Walking, they were able to see some nearby islands surrounding the ruins that were wrapped in a bubble of crystal-like waters. Twigs crawling on the tall trunks and branches of the massive trees were quite a testament to how old abundant the soil was. Fallen and dried branches creaking every time their feet settled and shuffled through the detritus on the ground.

Accompanying their venture were the fine whistles around, indicating the disturbed leaves. With every breath they took, scents of pine and wildflowers emanated into theirs with a little fragrance coming from animals. Stale woods might it be, its earthy smell was still something you want to live with rather than rotten blood.

"Oi Pretty!", T-Bag said to Gambit. "Don't you find it weird that there aren't any damn squirrels playing 'round here? It's so quiet; it's deafening."

Just as T-Bag imparted those words, they heard heavy footsteps stampeding from their south, getting louder each quarter of a second! It sounded as if it wrestled the leaves and trees while it passed by until it crumbled. His former notion of silence contradicted the enactment when a huge creature unraveled before their very eyes. And as soon as they turned around, a huge praying mantis that was as tall as the ruins in the immediate area was looking at them like they were nothing but prey to his menacing sight. The enormous green insect swung its deadly sickle towards them.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!", their eyeballs somewhat disintegrated from their own, flashing out some tears off their pupils and creamy mucus off their noses. And their faces were as gloomy as someone who had seen a ghost for the first time at 3:00 AM.

Out of shock and astonishment at the revelation, the entire crew quickly disintegrate as soon as it swung its scythe. T-Bag and the rope users dashed to the right and rolled over low on the ground. KG and the brawlers capitalized on being former professional basketball players and leaped just a little bit over the dashing slash. However, the snipers and the weapon specialist having been carrying heaving types of equipment such as steel rifles and in the case of the knights, their armors themselves, weren't able to react quickly. The ten knights who were right in front of the incoming attack absorbed the swing, blasting along with the rest of the snipers by several meters away. They also dragged Gambit who was at the very front of the platoon. Thanks to their metallic armor, they would only suffer muscle pains from the fall.

As they all crashed, another beast appeared out of nowhere, rising above KG and his pack before they could even land from the jump. No shit!, KG knew that they fucked up. Swinging its front left paw, KG did nothing but held his arms against the attack, albeit, the size of the large blue six-legged tiger's paw was big enough to cover the immediate sky they were in. Casting his shadows upon the pros, they were blown away the moment the attack landed on KG's arms, ripping its muscle, sending them twice the distance the knights and snipers flew by. *BAGOOOOOOOOOOSH!*

And as they were all lying on the ground, a Mexican standoff between the two beasts, the Blue Tiger called Toramata and the Green Praying Mantis called Don Kamakiriri.

Gambit then pressed down Reynolds' left shoulder while he attempted to rise on his feet. "Idiot", he whispered.

The momentary and eerie silence broke as the ferocious beasts suddenly attacked. The Don Kamakiriri rushed out of hiding, swiping his front right sickle with great strength and speed. Everyone reacted in shock and then with instinct. Some ducked and rolled, others jumped, while others yet had no choice but to take the blow, due to the Don Kamakiriri's speed and their own heavy equipment that made avoiding a difficult task. Those that jumped were expertly ambushed by an ambush predator, the Toramata, who jumped higher than them, and descended upon them with a crushing and clawing swipe.

KG's arms were left with significant slash marks as he and his group were blown away and sent to crashland back on the ground. The Don Kamakiriri and the Toramata ended up in a staredown, the former hissing and the latter growling at the other. They were both apex predators, and sharing this area - nor the prey that just stumbled into their area - was something they were unwilling to do. Perhaps their aggression toward one another was something for Gambit and his goons to exploit, unless they decided to make a run for it and not deal with the beasts, instead searching for Shiki.

Back in the control room, looking at the monitors, Shiki started to laugh outloud, seeing the Don Kamakiriri blow away a number of the trespassers, and seeing the Toramata even injure one of them and send them all crashing to the ground.

Jihahahahaha! Look at them go, Indigo! Our beasts are truly something aren't they?!

Shiki roared, oh so happy with what Indigo had created. Indigo, however, with a sharper eye, noticed that the two beasts were opposing one another. Their instincts, lack of obedience, and selfish, animalistic actions, would make them problematic as far as deploying them as controlled weapons was concerned.

To Indigo, things did not seem quite as peachy as to Shiki.

After crashing back in their trail, KG looked at his arms, wounded but it wasn't deep enough to feel worried. "That mothe-." The leader of the brawlers quickly turned around to his team, ensuring that they're fine. "You good? Let's take this chance to get away from these bastards. Down the hill." The other brawlers would quickly rose up to their feet, shrugging specks of dirt and some debris of the greeneries around them. Before leaving, they would glance where the other teams were at.

At T-Bag and the rope users' location, they did the same. Luckily, unlike KG and his team, they weren't harmed. "Let's get moving to where KG is headed. Go", T-Bag commanded his team. As they slid their feet down the hill, T-Bag drew his Den-Den Mushi and rang Gambit. "We gonna circle down the forest. We meet you elsewhere."

Back to Gambit, "Aight." Dropping the quick call, they rose from the ground little by little, capitalizing on the staredown between the two wild beasts. "Let's roll boys." Reynolds, the knights, and the rest of the snipers followed Gambit's lead as they all head northeast from the giant mantis and blue tiger.

In the laboratory, Manaka, a morena chica who's been Indigo's apprentice for five years was manning the screens that monitor the entire archipelagoes. These monitors were captured by a giant snail, devised to act as a live feed, not to investigate but to completely micro-manage the entire territory. She was overhearing what Indigo and Shiki were talking about. "Those men are foolish to enter our territory. Whatever their actions will be, they'd be all dead before they could even plan to walk to their destination. Hahaha.", she butted in. "Should I release some more mutated animals?"

Walking closer to the two gentlemen, she fixed her white sports bra before grabbing the white scientist suit from one of the black cushions on the floor and wrapping herself with it. "Master Indigo, there is something I'd like to discuss with you about the plant." And as she stressed the last word she uttered, she would reach for her databook placed on top of one of the desks inside the lab. Winking at Indigo, she continued, "We need to inject more in order for them to become more hostile at will. At this point, they will only be superior in strength; they lack the substance of a true weapon. Pretty sure that the boss---", turning to Shiki. "---wants everything under control. Right sir?", she continued with some pinching and touch on Shiki's arm.

The Kamakiriri and the Toramata hissed and roared at one another, glaring at one another combatively and aggressively. Shiki was laughing, and continued laughing, the dominance of his beasts making him truly happy. However, as the two beasts continued to oppose one another, the trespassers all started to get away. They all split up and went in different directions, but the one thing they all had in common was, they chose not to engage the beasts in combat, but rather opted to use their aggression toward one another to their advantage, and slipped away in secrecy. Shiki, seeing this on the display screens, abruptly stopped laughing and started shouting at the displays.

What are those stupid beasts doing?! They're all getting away! Why the hell are they just starting at each other and not doing anything about it?!

Shiki, the golden lion, roared, annoyed by what he was seeing.

Indeed, now you see what I meant when I said earlier, that they all had to be separated to not want to kill each other.

Indigo said, Shiki grimacing, dissatisfied.

So they're useless! What is the meaning of this, Indigo?!

Shiki said, Indigo sighing. The curse of a genius scientist, having to deal with a simpleton. Shiki was a legendary pirate, and a man of great dreams and vision, as well as a powerful man. But, when it comes to science and biology, he was a simpleton nonetheless.

I have been trying to experiment how to channel the beast's aggression toward the common enemy, instead of toward one another. I've tested training them with accomplished animal tamers, but to no avail so far.

If the trespassers attacked back, I have no doubt the two beasts would have worked together to dispose of them. But when left alone and not engaged, the beasts turned on each other.

Indigo explained. At that point, the woman, Manaka, walked up to the two and spoke, addressing Indigo and wanting to talk to him about a plant.

Hmph...

Shiki said, uninterested in that topic.

Indigo, call me when those trespassers have been disposed of.

Shiki said, walking out. Indigo looked at Manaka and spoke.

So? What was it you wanted to talk about?

The Apprentice
Manaka, a 25-year old scientist, biologist, zoologist, and botanist had been studying many forms of living organisms across the world. At some point in the past, she was working along with her own team of specialists in their own fields. Five years ago, it was brought to their attention how a certain species of flower could turn organisms to another level of evolution or mutation and they should do anything at risk in order to get a hold of it. This plant is called IQ, which can only be spotted in the flying archipelago, Merveille.

Back in the present time inside the lab. "Sir Indigo, I have been telling you that the dosage of IQ injection to all these animals has to be doubled if you want to acquire the highest form of evolution. At this point, they are just mere wild beast 1000x more destructive than their ancient forms."

Showing the databook to Indigo, she continued, "We need to ensure that their brains do not only mutate to destruction but to a degree that they could reason. IQ isn't enough. Nature alone isn't enough! We have to nurture them like what adults do to their infants, raising them to act in accordance with our own will. Look at this data."

Swiping the databook screen to the right, it displayed another panel of information that might lead to further knowledge on how to control the beast. "Do you know about a certain form of ancient philosophy called Beast Mastery?"

With a darker look on her face, she moved her head closer to the doctor, "They know a method on how to freely control any types of beasts. Sea Monsters, Lions, Wolves, Bears, and even the lesser dragons! We find someone who possesses that ancient art, then we own the entire world."

Gambit's and Reynold's Location
"Commander!", Aramis, one of the knights said, heavily panting. "Wait for us! Huff. Huff. Huff"

Gambit continued to sprint and addressed Aramis, "We do not have time to rest. Anytime, anywhere, maybe a bigger threat crashes our way."

"B-b-but, I thought we came here to gather information about the beasts?", Reynolds butted in. "Why didn't we just kill one of the two a while ago and return to the base? It is the same principle. Don't ya tell me that you have to defeat one of the NPCs in this island in order to that?"

All together: "?????????? NPC What?"

"Ugh!", Reynolds responded. "fuggedaboutit!"

Gambit thought to himself, This guy is weird. From the moment he first spoke, he has been weird. And then he recalled the very first thing Reynolds asked him back in the Laughing Archipelago. "So Gambit! I heard that you leveled up too quickly. What's your current stat now?". The prince only shook his head, astonished to the head of the sniper team.

"Everyone!", Gambit ensured that he caught everyone's attention as they keep on running in the ruins and down to a valley. "Certainly, we can just harness a specimen of a lone beast. But there's a grander purpose." The time froze as the rest of the knights and snipers look at him, "The man leading this island was a legend of the past. And you all know that I am the successor of Larsi's legacy. To become a legend, one has to defeat a legend. Above all, he may have a piece of important information that may lead all us to unravel the void century."

T-Bag's Location
"Holy Crap!", T-Bag was amazed at what unraveled before his eyes, "Did yall see that? It's marvelous!" The 10 rope users gathered around their master as they all stood on the edge of the island, enjoying the beauty of the islands underneath. As the gust of wind blew past them, they couldn't help but think of how ironic the situation was. "It's saddening to think that this place is governed by a certain man in the past. He doesn't deserve a beauty like this." As he sighed, he turned to his squad and gestured to get down to the nearest island below which was very achievable based on their own skillset. "Let's move boys!", as they jumped off the cliff.

KG's Location
Having been slid down the slope of the hill they were in previously, they saw T-Bag's group head southwest. But as the original plan was really to scatter into four, they also headed in a different direction and went southeast. They were hoping not to get engaged with any beast at this point. "KG! Lemme wrap around a cloth on your arms.", Pierce said.

"Don't bother, this is just a scratch dawg. And besides, we have to hurry to secure the location of the island's ruler." As he said this, they would find a nearby island, slightly above where they at the moment. "Wade! Can you scout what's above there?" Wade would draw his binoculars and took a clear outlook of the island above. KG continued, "What do you have?"

Crouching on the surface of a hill as they all camouflaged behind the bushes, Wade was scouting the vicinity using his scopes. He was appropriately situated in a perfect outpost to scout the main island. They were at 45 degrees across diagonal to it and using the glasses, they should be able to see from where they stand. "We're 5 klicks southwest of that location sir!", he said.

"Not bad. And what do we have there?", KG asked.

Wade: "It's an eastern-style castle sir with tons of ships around it. Looks like, looks like the base of operation sir."

KG: "Very well. We need to alert the Gambit. Call him!"

Gambit's Team
Baldemor, one of the knights reached out for his denden, "Yes?. Ok. Thanks!", as he turned to Gambit. "Sir! KG and his team are 5 klicks SE the main island. It looks like it's their base of operations."

"Thank you! Ok boys, we are moving west. Don't forget to radio the rest."

As Shiki departed, leaving Indigo with an order to have the beasts get rid of the trespassers, Manaka walked up to Indigo. She brought up the workings of a mysterious plant, and its basis to weaponize the beasts. A higher level of that plant would introduce a higher level of aggression into the beasts, making sure that the beasts would not get distracted by each other, and ravage any and all enemies instead. Indigo had played around with the dosages for a long time, and there was a problem with Manaka's theory. A low enough dose would leave the beasts unproductive. Too high a dose, and they would shred each other to pieces after they had shredded the enemies to pieces. A sweet spot was hard to find. However, what Manaka brought up afterward, piqued Indigo's interest. Something called Beast Mastery. Indigo's eyebrows furrowed as his facial expression turned into one of interest. By the sound of it, there was a way to control beasts that Manaka knew of. Perhaps, a terrifyingly high dosage of the plant to amp up the beasts' aggression levels, followed by the ability to control them and channel that aggression just enough for the beasts to not shred each other, would work. However, Indigo would have Manaka explain what Beast Mastery was in more detail.

Piro piro piro piro piro...! Sounds marvelous! Come, explain it to me over coffee!

Indigo said, hanging his arm over Manaka's shoulder and bringing her along. Perhaps she was onto something, and Indigo wanted to know all about it. With Shiki gone, and both Indigo and Manaka now distracted by their conversation and having left the control room as well, there was nobody keeping an eye on the monitors, or the beasts' actions toward the trespassers.

Elsewhere, the Kamakiriri and the Toramata were still hissing and growling at each other. Gambit, Reynolds and the Knights were still in the vicinity of the two distracted beasts, but they went away, having received intel that their friends had spotted the main island of Merveille. KG and his team, who were on a hill, looking up at the main island through a telescope, were the ones that had called Gambit's group over. However, what came next, was something that without a doubt required attention.

Looking through the telescope, KG and his team would notice a creature up in the sky. It was massive in size, even bigger than the Kamakiriri and the Toramata. And unlike those two, it was a flying creature.

The Agehaguera butterfly, flapping its wings mysteriously. The Agehaguera butterfly was floating in place right in front of the main island of Merveille, as if it was its guardian beast. Based on how he Agehaguera butterfly was positioned guarding the main island of Merveille, and how it was glaring down at the trespassers with its beady eyes, it was a clear message. If the group wanted to get up to the main island of Merveille, they would have to get past the flying beast.

The Agehaguera butterfly suddenly flapped its wings strongly, and a massive amount of toxic pollen was unleashed. Gravity and wind carried the massive amount of toxic pollen down toward KG and his group like a storm, aiming to engulf them all.

Inside the Facility
Indigo and Manaka walked across the hallway and headed to the pantry. After grabbing two cups of coffee, they sat at the table. Crossing her right leg over the left, she continued with her discovery.

"In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests. Back then, men and beasts lived in harmony and they had the ability to fully control them. There was old teaching from my home country in the North Blue that Beast Masters continued to secretly train successors in order to retain the art. From what I remember, there are among even destructive beasts than what we have here in the facility and they were able to control them. When science and art are combined, true power is unleashed. We need to find people who can do that. I know that you're thinking if I may have leads about it."

Manaka chuckles and continued, "the man who entered our facility came from North Blue, and based on his appearance, I am certain that he came from a certain tribe that has that ability. I was referring to the man with a diamond emblem on his forehead."

Gambit's Location - Hill near the Villagers
"Gambit!", Reynolds said. "Why are we heading west when KG and the rest are Southeast? Aren't we supposed to go East?"

"That's a good question", Gambit said. "What do you think will happen if we join KG and his team?"

Reynolds processed the question inside his head but was unable to fashion an answer so he responded, "Don't tell me."

Gambit: "You're right!"

Reynolds thought, Oh fuck! I know he was gonna say that. Why do people always assume that they knew what we knew that knew? I practically don't have an idea of what the answer was. So I will just pretend that I knew that we both knew what he knew and hear it from himself.

Gambit continued, "If we are to join them now, chances are we don't get to have information as many as we can. And don't worry about their capability to defend themselves. KG is one of the best out there in terms of hand-to-hand combat and he is surrounded by elite fighters, too. We are not scattering the forces. We are spreading the resources."

Suddenly, Gambit stopped running and so was his team. As he stood on the cliff of a hill, he was amazed by what he saw, a village down the valley. There were dozens of green peasant rows of dwellings with thatch roofs. "I can't believe there are actually people living in here." Turning to Reynolds, "can you scout further and see what we got there?" Reynolds responded very quickly.

T-Bag's Location - Snowy Mountains
11 men were walking in a snowy portion of the island. Although it's literally cold, it seemed that their skins were made for this weather as all of them were just walking with plain white t-shirt! The rope users were tall and got muscular built.

"Yo! Sir T-Bag! Your new weapon. Pretty dang cool eh.", Manu said, a Hispanic looking young fellow.

"Sure dawg!", TBag replied. "Pretty gave it to me as. He said that it's a special relic from their kingdom and he entrusted this to me and shall be wielded with proper caution."

"That's nasty OG!", Kobe said, a black and afro rope user.

"Sure it is!", TBag answered.

Shaq (another black): "Do you think you'd be able to teach that us, too.?"
Kidd (somewhat between black): "Yeah sir! You gotta let us learn that artifact too."
Dirk (one of the white guys): "I second that."
T-Bag: But first, you gotta show em enemies that you've grown from a mere baller and brawler to top rope machines. I mean, I couldn't care less if yall damn ballers to learn new tricks but being so versatile sometimes disregards the rest you have. You already are formidable fighters and now that I thought yall the art of rope action, you got your damn range and support."
Duncan (the other white): "As expected from you, sir. Words of wisdom."
T-Bag: "you could say that but all I have, I got in from him." As he thought of Gambit.
Parker: "You really look up to him, no?"
T-bag: "I sure am. And you guys should too."
Nash: "Sir, Captain is calling!!"

T-Bag grabbed the den den mushi and answered quickly.

"This is Reynolds, Sir! We got nothing here."

"And why the fuck do you call?!", T-Bag yelling at the den den mushi.

"Captain's order sir."

"Ugh, Bullshit! Lemme speak with Pretty."

Gambit: "Yo Tee! That's Reynolds. We happened to come across a village nearby. Looks like harmful people are living here. I will send Reynolds and his team to scout the area and gather information."

T-bag: nothing special, too but at least we didn't call to inform you that. Hahahaha. One thing though, it's a bit snowy here so we are confused about the abnormalities of this place. There's something wrong. Will let you know when something befalls."

Gambit: "alright then."

KG's Location - Uphill, part of the Ruins
Having been scouted the main island above, KG and his team were ready to go down, find a place to settle, and prepare an agenda. However, things were about to go ugly when Pierce captured a shocking image from his glasses (scopes). "?!!!"

"What is it?!", KG asked as he grabbed Pierce's glasses. "Shit!" was the only word he was able to utter after seeing a huge butterfly in front of them and just below the main island they were trying to spot. "That's some crazy size of an insect. What is wrong with this place? Looks like every species here is over-sized! Could it be?"

And as KG overthough what he just witnessed, the giant insect hovering over above them, flapped its wings, unleashing substance they were not certain of at the moment. And as the wind blew down to the earth they were on, toxic pollens traveled down into their lungs, weakening their knees, making them dizzy. KG on the other hand didn't fell on his knees, but certainly, he saw the blurry image of two huge butterflies right above them.

Indigo and Manaka went for a coffee, sitting down to discuss what she had brought up. Manaka started to talk, and for once, Indigo was quiet, for she had something good to say, clearly. Manaka started to talk about history, and how in the times long past, there were those who were able to control the strongest of beasts. An art that, today, was rare and within people few and far between. It seemed like a marvelous ability, one that Shiki had been dreaming about. And based on Manaka's words, it was not a Devil Fruit ability, for more than one person seemed to have it. As such, it would not conflict with Shiki's Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. If they could find one of these sages to teach Shiki the arts, Shiki would without a doubt become an even greater legend than he already was. Perhaps, even the title that had eluded him for so many decades, would come in reach. Pirate King, Shiki the Golden Lion. With a big grin on his face, Indigo listened, when Manaka brought in the kicker. Apparently, she knew of a person that possessed this ability. And he even happened to be here, on Merveille. One of the trespassers.

PIRO PIRO PIRO PIRO PIRO...!!! HOW FATE WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!

Indigo said. But then, something odd occurred to him. How did Manaka know one of these strangers had this ability?

Manaka, how do you know all of this? And how do you know this man with a diamond pattern on his forehead?

Indigo questioned.

Elsewhere, Gambit and his group had split up. He, with some of his fighters, were still in the vicinity of the ruins. T-Bag and his guys found themselves in the snowy mountains, while KG and the boys stared down a huge insect.

KG and the band were the first to be attacked. The Agehaguera butterfly flapped its wings, unleashing a storm of toxic pollen. The pollen was carried by the wind, engufing KG and the group below. Most of the weaker ones fell to the ground, quickly defeated. But KG, stronger than the rest, continued to stand and oppose the great Agehaguera butterfly. His vision was blurry, and the toxic pollen was affecting him, but nevertheless, he persevered like a true baller. Swinging its wings again, the Agehaguera butterfly this time was going to do it personally. Descending with phenomenal speed, the Agehaguera butterfly came down toward KG, aiming to fly into him and body slam him before flying up into the air again.

T-Bag and his men had it easier for now. No animals in sight, only the strong chilling winds and snowstorms. But that didn't seem to bother them. However, their journey free of trouble would not be free of trouble for too long. A good fifty meters or so up the snow mountain, three great beasts awaited, cutting T-Bag and his guys off. A warrior sloth, the Shirokage, the Seiuchi Mountain, a mountainous walrus, and even the powerful Ettousaurus.

All 3 will be:

T-Bag had a fight on his hands.

Gambit and his goons, who did not stray far from the initial encounter with the Don Kamakiriri and the Toramata, stumbled upon a small town in the ruins. Reynolds was sent to scout, descending into the ruined town. But he wouldn't get far. From behind one of the buildings, sneakily, a giant Terror Guma suddenly stepped out and swiped its right clawed paw, aiming to gore Reynolds. If the sneak attack was not seen coming, Gambit would see one of his men cut down right in front of him.

This one will be:

The praying mantis will be a greater mutated animal while the tiger will be a mutated animal, so their stats are as follows:

Greater Mutated Animals(6)

With Indigo and Manaka uncovering a gem, and the giant beasts going after Gambit and his goons, the fate of Merveille began shifting. How it would shift, was anyone's guess.

Coffee Date with Manaka
Manaka and his boss continued to talk over a cup of coffee and nearing the end of the conversation, Indigo asked something that implied how his interest was finally piqued. With a serious look on her face, she thought, If I am to tell where I came from, Indigo will suspect me of something; however, if I told him the truth, would he think that I am too bold to tell him that? Wine in front of me but certainly, I didn't make this all up.

"You wanna know why?", Manaka inserted her right palm into her bra, specifically in her right chest, trying to pull out something. Smirking at Indigo, she would expect the scientist to panic and blush. Pulling out an excerpt from the last year's release of news coo, she would show him a close up look at the man they were discussing.

"You see him? It says Landayan. I came from North Blue and there's only one country that uses that name, the kingdom of the enchanted forest, Hiraya. Hiraya means imagination and Landayan mean the deliverer. In the ancient books that circulated in our sea, it said that the first deliverer was able to fully control all the beast in that very forest, defeating all the evil Tieflings that once resided in their country and sent them all away. That person also bore the symbol (referring to the diamond) of the four regions of Hiraya: the Elven tribe - they are humans with pointy ears, the Knights of the Nights - humans who specialize in blacksmithing and warfare, the Dwarven Tribes - generally dwarves who use botany at its fullest, and the Good Tieflings Tribe - they were the descendants of the Tieflings who fought against their evil folks."

KG and the Bruh-llers
Pierce, Wade, Lebron, and the other Eastern Conference bruh-lllers fell down on their knees after sniffing the pollens emanated by the huge butterfly. They are still alive but they are high as hell. It's as if they are charged with party drugs. "Hell yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!", all of them yelled, tounges pommeling like a wild hyena.

"Grrrr... get yourself together, you dumbasses!", KG roared! However, at this point, the butterfly quickly dove into the earth and attacking KG with an incredible speed. The alpha baller slapped his face with both his hands, waking him up from the hallucination. Focusing on the incoming, he readied himself by slamming his forehead on the tree trunk thrice before looking at the butterfly once again. And finally, the moment the insect closed in at his punching range, KG would push his feet onto the ground before launched a jumping right uppercut fused with invisible Haki right to the body of the insect. "Suuuuper Layup!!!" KG left a small dent in his wake and the wind whistled as he sped upwards. Whooshing as he cast away his fist towards the huge insect.

A powerful jumping uppercut that is capable of crushing a falling boulder into dust. DPR B

T-Bag's Mini Field Trip in Alaska
The rope users and T-Bag continued to happily discuss his newfound weapon after dropping the call from Gambit. Laughing beneath the chilling weather, they did not know that they awakened a taste of fire amidst the snowstorm. Their footsteps were suddenly put into rest when three towering mammals emerged in front of them.

T-Bag: "I was born on a mountainside but I ain't got to see damn sloth this huge."
Kobe: "Sir! Why don't we just capture them beasts?"
T-Bag: "Yer dang right bout that." Without looking at his teammates, T-Bag ordered them to spread and get into their capturing formation. "Everyone! Formation 1"

Manu, Timmy, and Parker went to the left plank as fast as they could. Kobe, Fisher, and Shaq went to the right side. And the remaining four will divide themselves into 2 groups as a backup for their front liners. "Kidd and Dirk will take the left and Nash and The Matrix (Marion) will take the other.", T-Bag continued as he remained in the middle, staring at the sloth, the two other bluish creatures dashing forth them, the giant walrus-like creature and the dinosaur-like animal with horns that resembled a deer.

Left Plank: "Shrouds and Rat-Line Knot!!", the team creates a large net out of their ropes and launched them on top of the 3 beasts.
Right Plank and the 4 back-ups: "Bowline Knot!!", 3 Lakers including the 4 back-ups shot their ropes targeting the limbs of the beasts in order to restrain them.

Regardless of the outcome, T-Bag would draw his chained flail, swinging the ball end of it a few times before tossing it to the heads of the beast one after the other. "Spikey Strikey!!"

Spikey Strikey: T-Bag shoots out the spiked ball end of the chain like a fist to his target.
- DPR: B, requires 41 Mastery, 41 Strength

Gambit, Reynolds, and the rest of the fools
Reynolds quickly rushed down the hill and reached the valley. Nobody was escorting him. At this point, Gambit and the rest of the snipers uphill were looking at Reynolds by their scopes. "Good going Reynolds. There's nobody out there who could pull this one of but you.", Gambit praised his subordinate via their earpiece transceiver.

"I know you'd say that. But is it safe?", Reynolds asked.

"Course it is, why'd you ask that bs?", Gambit responded.

Suddenly, Gambit noticed a shadow suddenly cast behind Reynolds. Certainly, nobody has seen it coming, neither Gambit. But with the huge shadow suddenly emerging and their communication device, Gambit could still alert him. "Reynolds! Behind you!!", Gambit said.

Turning around, "?!!! What the fuck is this?", Reynolds reacted to the giant long-armed bear's claw attack by bending down low. Rolling himself under the gap of the beast's legs, Reynolds would draw one of his katanas from his back as tried to to cut its legs and prevent it from moving any further.

Reynolds: "Fuck you Gambit! I knew you could see through it but you didn't do shit!!!."
