Rej is in a lighter shade of green and not in my current towncore 'cause while he feels genuine in how he's disengaged and his care free attitude, I think it's not entirely outside of his scum range and also it's potentially NAI 'cause he is in fact burned out and have been like this for a while.

i found this idea in many games stated as defence, and indeed i find myself often in the position when I think "this behaviour is never villagery" and when that player flips town i have the face from my pfp..
Though, searching for townies early in the game looking for preset townie behaviour is more villagery and a thing i saw Nova doing as town many times.
I'd take your train of thoughts if you were playing the first time with him, but i think this is not the case @Oreki isn't it?

because this are the players I have the hardest time scumread D1, and when novas is scum I will end up townreading him anyway, so I gave it up, I can check for novas intrigues later on, and if novas wanna flow with Naomi then I let them, because if it works out it can be profitable for town, if not one will slip sooner or later
