Post merge should just be abolished. It's annoying and unnecessary.

This game will feature Trust Points that increases and/or decreases a player [Suspicion] or [Trust Level]. A high trust level makes a person gain more benefits during the Night Phase, e.g. access to more abilities. [Trust Points] status will be updated end of each phase.

• Trust Points can be used to purchase abilities.

2 Points for meeting the post requirement

4 Points for having the highest post count during the Interrogation phase

-2 points for failing to meet post requirements.

I have to agree with Drago that Juliet reactions feels genuine. She hold back and didn't hurt Town.

To be honest if a scum tries to imitate her town play of claiming early and posts about it, she would definitely refrain from doing the actual claiming cause. Claiming is bad for scums right? I am not promoting her claiming idea at all but that is not something to town read her for.

I don't see the difference between this DP1 & an Evening Phase and personally i never ever participate in Evening Phases
This first Half of DP1 only require us to choose 3 Players to be Suspects & 3 to be Observers
It's like this is an Evening Phase & the Host is asking us for Initial Metareads

No one have solid Arguments for suspecting or trusting anyone unless i see a Day Action or Claim
So obviously our Choices will be based mostly on Metareads & Feelings
The Game officially starts during Trial Phase which is still DP1 btw

The Movie starts with Interrogations too & every Character was Suspicious to be honest and had motives to be the Villain (Aside from that Youngster, Old Woman, Maid & Detectives ofc)

Shortly after that we learn that the Main Detective of the Story (Daniel Craig) was Hired by Unknown Person (Which i believe what gave Inspiration to this Mechanic of Private Votes of Observer)

The Villain is the one who Hired the Detective if i recall, so don't expect that voting for Best Townie is the right answer to this, expect Plot Twists here & Scum with Abilities & Wincons that perhaps rely on these Votes

This is another reason why i wanted to start by Voting for same Suspects as Observers too, because i want to check this Scenario of Two Suspects interacting before we get to NP1 & more complications happen

Alright guys, i'm awake now

For starters, i really really don't want to Spoil the Movie, because it's one of my Favorite Movies last year and i advise you to watch it
(Thriller + Crime Investigation + Family Drama + Some Humor and it contains lot of Small & Big Plot Twists & ofc Great Cast)
Not to the mention that the Direction & Cinematography are Neat

So i will only Spoil the first third of the Movie:

The Movie starts with Death of Harlan just like here, it looks like Suicide, but someone hires a Private Detective
After that it switches to Interrogation Scenes introducing us to most Characters

Spoiler #1: Private Detective doesn't know who Hired him, and this matches with what we are doing right now or during Interrogation Phases. We are hiring a Detective/Observer but Privately.

Spoiler #2: Villain is the one who Hired Him (Won't reveal which Character for now to not Spoil), at least until it's needed

During Interrogations, it's revealed that:
Spoiler #3: Almost all Characters have Motives to kill Harlan, they don't get along among each other, and every & each one of them wants to take the Inheritance

Spoiler: My opinion on this

Players shouldn't think that this Mechanic solely exists so we can Vote for Best Townie & let him/her be in charge during Trials.
I'm pretty sure there are Roles who rely on these Votes which is another reason why it's Private. It's possible that maybe Scum needs to match the Right Observer & Suspect who have certain Characters for their wincon

Also don't you notice it's strange that Trust Points are rewarded for Lynching Guilty Players & removed if you Fail to meet Post Requirements, not participating well during Trials & for Lynching Innocent Players. It's like this System is exactly made against Scum, it benefits Town more.

At first Glance, you'd think Trust Points is a Neutral System where Players compete to gain Advantage, but in reality, it totally favors Town.
I mean that's cool & it makes sense that Town are the ones who deserve more Trust & Scum need to be wary but Gameplay wise, it's simply making Scum's Goal even harder since Town will be rewarded for things that they usually do anyway in any Game & Scum will be punished for things they get Sus of anyway in any Game too.

That's why i believe we are actually against 3rds which matches with Spoiler #3, so don't analyze the Game as if we are definitely against an Organized Faction, don't always search for Teamplay among Suspects, but instead look for Players targeting others as if you're looking for Executioners in ToS Games.

Who are the Town in this case you may ask? They are The Private Detective + Detective Lieutenant who assists him + Harlan's Nurse + (Maybe) Harlan's Grandson + Harlan's Mother + The Housekeeper/Maid, these are definitely Town, the rest could be Town but could also be 3rds/Mafia (But as i said, i lean towards the idea of Multiple 3rds rather than Organized Mafia because seriously the Family in this Movie can't catch a break, everyone have their own Agenda & Motives & Secrets, they mostly Hate each other if i recall well)

I really don't want to spoil any Further (I don't think it's even needed yet since Game just started & we didn't even reach the Interrogation Scene) so i will just reveal few things about the Characters:

Since each Character have their own Secrets & Motives, there are also other Characters who have Info on them (Like Character A heard B & Character C knows stuff about Character D .... etc) especially with Trial Phases & how they explained, it seems most Characters/Players have Info about other Characters/Players (Another reason why i wanted to match Suspects with each other)
So i'm pretty sure there are Scum who don't want certain Players/Characters to be the Observer of them

Now individually, The Nurse who is Towniest Town the Town ever seen among it's Towniest Townies cannot Lie lmao That's Right, we have a Town among us who can't lie (And trust me, they will definitely have this Mechanic because it basically defines her in the Movie) so take this into consideration but don't reveal too much info, Scum could be looking for her too. I just believe Town should be aware of this Detail in case Scum does too, and if they don't then it doesn't hurt anyway

Unfortunately i can't reveal anything about rest of Characters cuz it would spoil the Ending but don't worry i don't think these details are necessary now. I will reveal them once we make progress in this Game/Story & they are needed.
