both, MA uses mastery in fighting style and STR, DFs use mastery in DF and STR. although some DFs just have it based off mastery

A random zoan kick shouldn't be equal to a named technique from a dedicated fighting style.

yeah zoans get versatility and better stat boosts but need str for techniques. creation paramecia just need mastery but dont have as much versatility or stat boosts
