I doubt any of them are returning as they likely to come up with another version or variation.

Really bummed they got rid of the megas as didn't like the Z and the other piece of shit mechanic lol

Each gen has evolution like gimmicks so I'd assume this Gen introduces something new. Except regional variants seem to be a thing that'll stick around. I do hope mega return one day that stuff was sick :(

Also the fire starter will allegedly turn into a fire/fairy type. I'm leaning towards the fire starter for now but it can completely shift with its third evolution. Was the same with Fennekin, really liked the base form but hated the final evolution lol.

This. Megas were the shit, Z-moves I was indifferent towards since they brought something interesting. But the max stuff from sword and shield was absolutely useless in a casual playthrough. My normal mons with supereffective moves could still OHK godzilla sized pokemons. :LOL:

Once I finished the main part of the game I dropped playing it and all other giga and dynamaxes where nothing but a farce imo.

I remember there was one with super effective mon and moves and I still fucking lost. Pissed me off a little, like how does a Pokemon weaker beat it's weakness. This ain't no Ash Greninja BS in the anime. I played a little after but the passion was already withering with how little sword and shield was. GF just rehashing same old BS every other game with very little new.

Same I tried a second playthrough months ago and couldn't finish it. It just radiated "unfinished" everywhere I looked lol.
