I dropped Harry Potter after how much i found it copied LOTR a true goat series. Though i say this i might be getting Hogwarts Legacy lol
Man I dunno, HP is the shit. The world building of LOTR is better but imo HP is above. It’s the only piece of work where I’ve seen having a fandom so divided. *.*

I think you can make that comment to the majority of fantasy books. Or was there something in particular?
For me there was far too many similarities, reminds me of how Fairy Tail copying a load of series but its in own way but it just gave that off vibe. But then again from someone from UK/GB they over hyped the shit out of HP.

I say that then LOTR took a lot of inspiration from the OG Beowulf

I'm going to be honest I really can't find too many similarities between HP and LOTR lol. They seem widely different shows. I do like both tho but that's mostly because I grew up with HP. I watched LOTR when I was a lot older.

One interesting similarity between them is that they marked the fantasy genre of their time :)

It might be just me. Though someone from GB/UK, being sat in class and having your teachers over hype the shit out of HP, coming home and the amount of advertisement for this was ridiculous. Was interested at first but dropped reading the books in favour for the movies. I think its the movie where Dobby is when i dropped HP as that movie had me lose interest. I remember when they aired every movie back to back on TV is when i officially watched it all. If you dont consider the fantastic beasts that is.

Overall i'll give it a 7/10

I personally like the movies, but the books are still better :)

The first 3 ones are downright cozy to listen to :D

Though I did grow up with the books, so my view is biased as hell xD

Man I think most of us grew with it, It might have been hard for Gin since HP is likely to be huge in it’s original country.

They done Chapter 36 of DH dirty during the movie. I wanted to see Voldemort overpowering everyone in the Great Hall then slowly realize the wand wasn’t is. >.>

Tbh I fuck with Harry Potter even more now than she confirmed that Hermione was black. My sisters always thought so.
