Someone should make some kind of weekly questionnaire so all the players can give cool insight to their characters more often while out of story.

Along the quieter waters of the West Blue, a lone figure travelled without name or reputation. He was often seen only as a silhouette standing at the edge of a small, weather-worn vessel, his posture relaxed yet strangely deliberate, as if he were studying the sea rather than simply sailing upon it. Most who noticed him remembered very little afterwards. A tall shape against the fading light, a pair of calm eyes that seemed to take in more than they revealed, and a silence that never felt empty but measured. He spoke little in the ports he passed through, asking only simple questions before moving on as if the answers were pieces of a much larger puzzle.

He carried no banner, no crew, and no story worth telling yet. To the world he was just another drifter wandering the lesser-known waters between islands. Yet there was something unusual in the way he looked at the horizon, not with the hunger of a pirate chasing treasure, nor with the discipline of a marine chasing justice. It was closer to curiosity, the quiet desire to see what lay beyond the next island, and the next after that.

For now, the sea had no name for him. But the waters of the West Blue have a habit of carrying small ripples far beyond where they begin, and somewhere in the distance the first stirrings of something larger were beginning to take shape.
Lol, i thought this was The Fool at first.

What do you say @Magimasterkarp to call Magikarp Mondays to "Koikingu ni kansuru shitsumon".
So how there's SBS but we call it KKS or MFAQs (Magikarp's Frequently Answered Questions) or MQT (Magikarp's Question Time)?
I mean, the title i give it sometimes changes depending on how i write the first sentence of a monday post, but the first one was called:
Its time! Welcome to
Magikarp
neglects
very
greatly
important
advanced
Mathematics
lecture
gladly,
inquiring
varied
yuseless
questions
about
your
RP
Character.
Which was just a rickroll.
I consider the official name to be Magikarp Mondays Questionaire, so MMQ could be a valid abbreviation.
I hope i remember to post that tomorrow.

SBS? Never heard of it!
The Magikarp Mondays Qestionaire
is wholly original!

Magikarp Mondays still has its own thread, where you can find all the Questions and collect all your answers.

You can find it [Here]

You can still answer them in the gen chat as usual, and remember, taking part in Magikarp Monday is entirely MANDATORY!
Failure to participate will result in me being very disappointed in you.

"What would your characters Smash Bros moveset be? (Or any other fighting game)
If they played a fighting game, who would they main?"
And since there was such a long stretch between questions:
"What do your characters do between islands? Especially when there are periods when they are inactive, how do they entertain themselves?"
I've seen this suggested as a writing exercise to get to know your characters better:
"What does your characters office/room look like? What is in their trash can?"
A classic SBS type Question. (Characters that are already musicians can focus on the last question)
"If your character were a musician/in a band, what would their role/instrument be? Would they be good at it?
What would be their band name?"
A more experimental question this week:
"If your character weren't a game protagonist, with what powerlevel, rank and influence would they fit most comfortably into the one piece world? Yonkou, Supernova, New world captain?"
This weeks qestions is especially directed at the people who's username is their character's name:
"Vegapunk managed to upgrade the Den Den Mushi Network with rudimentary chatroom/forum technology. What is your characters username, how active would they be?"
A spoopy question for the spoopy season:
"What were your characters childhood nightmares? Are they still afraid of those things?"
This could all be avoided by using icognito mode and a vpn:
"What's in your characters' DenDen Network browser/search history? What's in their psychic-snail-mail inbox?"

This week, the Magikarp Monday Questionaire is brought to you by NorthBlue VPN!
This week, a simple question:
"What's your characters' most treasured/sentimental possession?"
This week, a totally original question:
"What will your character be like in 20 and 40 years? How would they change between good and bad timelines?"

This week, a simple question:
"What's your characters' most treasured/sentimental possession?"
Forgot to reply to this last time, lol.

Bill obviously loves his taxidermied spearfish to the point it is turning into a cursed weapon, but beyond that he has a very expensive bottle of Whiskey that reminds him of an ex wife.
Johnny carries a small picture of his Ma. Well, technically it's a mugshot. Bill is afraid of making her mad.

Yasashí carries a set of prayer beads that belonged to a fellow monk that was killed by pirates.

This week, a totally original question:
"What will your character be like in 20 and 40 years? How would they change between good and bad timelines?"
Bill is somewhere in his 90s, so he still has a cool 50 years of life left. He set out as a sailor when he was 4 to grow up and make a man out of himself, and obviously succeeded. He's looked like an old man since he was 15 and hasn't really aged much since then.

Magikarp Mondays has developed time travel technology to question people in future.

In 20 years in the good future, Bill is still making a living as a pirate. He told us: "I'd love to retire at some point, but I gotta get outta these alimony payments first."
Questioned on this 20 years later, he said: "Retire? Me? Tell ya what, I'll retire if ye can beat me in a drinking contest, matey!" After a 3 day hangover, our reporter concluded that Bill is never going to retire.

20 years into the bad future, Bill was found in a nursing home. He told us: "You gotta get me outta here! This dog belongs out to sea!"
When our reporter approached the nursing home 40 years in the future, Bill could be heard from a distance: "Hey nurse~! Where is my pudding? My blanket is cold! Can you help me change the tv channel?"

In 20 years, good future Johnny is celebrating 10 years of marriage with the love of his life. While his two kids apply his blue war paint onto his face, he told his wife: "One last score, baby, then I'll retire. I want to be here for the kids, after all."
When our reporter checked in 20 years later, Johnny had actually managed to retire after that last score. He leads a small inn and teaches the neighborhood urchins to fight. After years of peaceful living, even the large bruise on his face that he used to cover up with his war paint had healed. "Honey, our youngest just called. She says she ran into Bill. The old man just doesn't change. Good thing I taught her to hold her liquor."

Bad Future Johnny will marry into a rich family in 20 years. "Brathering? Why would you think I'd be from such a low class family? Have you been drinking? Come darling, let's forget about that prenup and elope."
20 years later, Johnny looks to have aged at least 40 years. "No thanks, I don't drink, not since the weddi-, no, I've never been a drinker. I have blue blood, after all." he points to the blue bruise on his face. "That carries certain expectations for conduct. Now excuse me, me and my father in law have to bulldoze an orphanage for our new golf course."

In 20 years in the good timeline, Yasashí appears to be in a constant state of sulong, his whole body completely white, but his eyes still green. With a confident smile, he told our reporter: "We just liberated another country without fighting. I'm glad I get to do this."
20 years later, our reporter found Yasashí sleeping under an orange tree. His red fur had grayed out almost completely, and he was starting to get overgrown with moss. When woken up, he said: "We achieved world peace, so now I'm just enjoying myself."

In 20 years in the bad future, Yasashí works for the Cipher Pol as an assassin. Red fur caked in blood gives him a scary, spiky appearance. He threatened our reporter: "You're not my target, so you have ten seconds to get out of my way, or I'll rip you apart."
40 years in the bad future, our reporter had to arrange an interview through bribing Impel Down staff. Even heavily wrapped in chains, the prisoner managed to kill our reporter and three guards, so we have no record what he said.

The good timeline version of our reporter refused to visit any bad timelines, so at least he's doing good.

"What will your character be like in 20 and 40 years? How would they change between good and bad timelines?"
Jade:
  • 20 years (good timeline): Looks quite a bit older as Dwarves age faster (but live longer) than humans. Her blonde hair is still in it's signature style but is a bit longer and has various small strips of colours near the front/fringe. She is still doing the same missions and working in mostly the Grand Line but has a larger amount of subordinates than the present. Not much has changed otherwise.
  • 40 years (good timeline): Looks a bit older than her 20 years older-self but nowhere the difference as it and her present-self. Her blonde hair has a few more strips of colours and she now wears a uniform that is used for the protectors of the new society, the revolutionaries having defeated the World Government about 8 years before.
  • 20 years (bad timeline): Scarred and ragged, Jade is still fighting despite the Revolutionaries being in a bad way. She is the second-in-command, Dragon and many other members having been executed a while ago, and is basically just saving as many people as she can as they no longer have the power to liberate countries/it will make things worse for everyone if they try.
  • 40 years (bad timeline): Jade is dead and has been for nearly 10 years, giving her life to delay the Marines and other WG forces so thousands can escape on ships. Only a few people remember her and the Revolutionary Army/similar groups no longer exists.
Varan:
  • 20 years (good timeline): Varan is in his element, fighting powerful enemies and beasts as part of a well known but not infamous pirate crew. He is a bit bigger and has some more scars. His robots are more advanced and he has made several new ones.
  • 40 years (good timeline): Varan is one of the top commanders of a Yonko and is easily the most dangerous of them. He wanders around challenging people and having fun in the New World. Nobody messes with the territories under their control as his robots are everywhere and powerful enough to deal with entire up and coming crews on their own.
  • 20 years (bad timeline): Missing an arm and part of his torso, Varan has replaced them with cybernetics. He is now very grumpy and angers easily, fighting anyone who comes close to him. He only has a few robots and they are actually less advanced than his current ones as he can't get the parts/find the drive to improve them.
  • 40 years (bar timeline): Varan is imprisoned in Impel Down and has lost every spark and ambition he had. He will soon die of starvation as he doesn't eat
Nanashi:
  • 20 years (good timeline): She has found out who she was/where she came from and has come to terms with it. Nanashi is a powerful combatant that is trying to create somewhere she and others can belong and will fight anyone if they make themselves a threat to this goal.
  • 40 years (good timeline): Nanashi has built a community on a small island and they are in talks to join various organisations, including the World Government. She has met the love of her life and has 2 young children.
  • 20 years (bad timeline): She only found out part of who she was and went slightly mad from learning/from other events. Nanashi destroys several islands in her rage and becomes a bigger threat that most pirates.
  • 40 years (bad timeline): Nanashi is known as the 'Queen of Fire' and is one of very few prominent figures in a pretty much apocalyptic and very dangerous world. She looks like a demon, with massive wings of fire and a 'crown' & spear made of blackened bones. Anyone that doesn't serve her are turned to ash or kept as prisoners, if given the choice most people choose the former.
