Valkyrie Island #11

The sky churned with storm clouds, the winds howling like the cries of a dying beast. Amidst the smoldering ruins, a shadow stretched across the battlefield—a monstrous figure stepping forward, each footfall shaking the shattered ground beneath him.

A deep, guttural laugh rolled through the chaos, heavy with the weight of conquest.

"Now this is a fight."

The Giant stood like a living fortress, towering even over Malekith. His massive frame was carved from years of battle, scars layered upon scars, each a testament to a life spent on the battlefield. His thick, sinewy arms flexed, rolling his shoulders as if the very act of preparing for war was a mere formality.

He took a long gulp from the oversized jug of sake at his hip, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand before exhaling a plume of steam. His crimson eyes burned with reckless excitement, his wild, unkempt beard shifting as he grinned a wide, hungry smile that promised nothing but carnage.

"You lot talk too damn much."

Without hesitation, he moved, closing the distance with terrifying speed. A giant should not be this fast.

His fist, wreathed in deep-blue flames, surged forward like a falling comet, coated in Armament Haki so dense it cracked the air itself.

The battlefield shook beneath his sheer force, the winds screaming in protest as his attack threatened to obliterate everything in its path.

"Titan's Wrath!" he roared, his voice splitting the heavens as his colossal punch came crashing down only for Lucifer to vanish. The Giant's fist struck nothing but air. In that instant, a golden blur descended from above. Lucifer reappeared behind him, already mid-strike.

"Solar Annihilation."

The Lunarian's flaming fist, coated in an obscene level of Haki, drove into the giant's spine with a force that defied reality itself.A sickening crack tore through the battlefield as the air warped from the sheer impact. The giant's body lurched forward uncontrollably, his knees buckling beneath the devastating force. His titanic frame, once so unmovable, was sent crashing downward, the very earth shattering beneath him as he was driven into the ruins.

His breath left him in a harsh, painful exhale, blood splattering against the crumbling stone as his massive form lay still. For the first time in his life, he had been brought to his knees.

He had lost.

---------------------------------------------------------------
The battlefield went silent as the giant's vision swam, darkness creeping in at the edges. His body, once an unshakable fortress, refused to obey him. His fingers twitched as he tried to move, to rise, to fight again but the weight of defeat pinned him down like a mountain had collapsed on his back.

He coughed, thick blood spilling from his lips, his breath ragged. His pride burned hotter than his wounds. A deep, guttural chuckle rumbled from his throat. Even now, even as he lay beaten in the dirt, he laughed.

"Hehahaha guess I ain't the strongest after all."
His fingers curled into a weak fist, his grip on reality slipping. "Tch, what a joke!"

His vision faded and his monstrous form finally going still.

The Pact of Valkyrie Island

The battlefield was silent. The earth was cracked and scorched, the air thick with the remnants of battle smoke, blood, and the raw scent of destruction. A single figure remained standing amidst the devastation.

Lucifer.

His crimson wings still smoldered, embers flickering in the wind. His golden eyes, piercing and unwavering, surveyed the battlefield as if measuring its worth. At his feet, the giant lay broken, a testament to the overwhelming force he had unleashed.

Among the stunned warriors, Lucianne, the leader of Valkyrie Island's Recon Unit, could only stare.

She had seen warriors who could carve through armies and monsters who razed cities in their wake. But what she had witnessed just now was beyond that. Beyond logic. Beyond reason. This wasn't just raw power. This was dominance. Her heart pounded in her chest. She knew Valkyrie Island, with all its warriors, with all its defenses, could not stand against this.

No, they would not.

Lucianne was not a fool. She was a warrior, but more importantly, she was a leader. And a leader knew when to fight and when to kneel. She dropped to one knee. The warriors behind her hesitated for only a moment before following her lead, lowering their heads in silent acknowledgment of the undeniable truth before them. Lucianne exhaled slowly before speaking, her voice clear and resolute.

"Lucifer. I have seen enough."

Her icy-blue eyes locked onto his, unwavering despite the weight of the moment.

"Valkyrie Island will not oppose you." A pause. The wind howled through the ruined battlefield.

"Instead, I offer you a pact." The weight of her words settled.

"From this day forward, Valkyrie Island shall stand under your command." There was no need for further explanation, no need for bargaining. This was not surrender. This was a choice.

A choice to follow the strongest.

[VALKYRIE ISLAND]
Post 12 - @Aro

The battlefield lay in ruin, the echoes of battle fading into an eerie silence. Lucifer stood amidst the carnage, his golden eyes surveying the shattered remains of his latest conquest. Embers still flickered from his smoldering wings, the heat of his power lingering in the air like the aftershock of a great calamity. The broken form of the giant lay before him, a testament to the sheer force he had unleashed. There were no cheers, no cries for mercy. Only the quiet realization of absolute dominance.

A slow, measured applause broke the silence.

"Effortless," Malekith mused, his voice smooth yet laced with disdain. "Such fragile creatures. They talk of strength, yet crumble like sand beneath the weight of true power."

Lucifer exhaled sharply through his nose, unimpressed. "I've had more engaging conversations with the wind. At least it knows how to push back."

Geralt, standing a short distance away, rolled his shoulders. "That was a fight, was it? Seemed more like a lesson in futility."

Lucifer smirked, stretching his fingers as the lingering embers on his knuckles dissipated. "They never learn, do they? Strength isn’t measured by arrogance or noise. It’s in knowing when to strike, when to wait, and when to walk away."

Malekith scoffed. "Walk away? From what? This world is ripe for the taking. Submission is inevitable." His tone was laced with irritation, as if the very notion of restraint was an insult to his nature.

Geralt crossed his arms.
"Not everyone needs to be crushed under your heel, dark one. Some just need a reason to stand aside." His tone was casual, but his amber eyes flickered with something more calculating. "No need to make unnecessary enemies."

Lucifer hummed in agreement, his wings folding neatly behind him. "For once, I agree with the Geralt. This was never about destruction. I wanted proof that none here could stand against me. I have it. There’s nothing more to gain."

Malekith's gaze darkened. "Conquest is never about necessity. It is about inevitability. Why stop when the world is so easily reshaped?"

Lucifer turned to face him, his expression unreadable. "Because I have more important matters to attend to."

The air grew heavy, an unspoken understanding settling between them.

Malekith sneered but said nothing further, his disdain evident. He thrived on conquest, on dominance, and the idea of simply leaving irritated him. But he would not argue. Not here. Not now.

Geralt merely exhaled through his nose, shaking his head.
"Well, if you’re done playing god, I’d suggest we move on. We’ve wasted enough time."

Lucifer stretched his wings, his smirk returning. "For once, Geralt, I agree."

Without another word, the Lunarian lifted off, his form cutting through the air as he left the battlefield behind. His destination was set.
