he is not unbeatable, just very close to it unless you do everything right. like other people are saying, mihawk isnt suppose to be soloable unless its against the best. and boosts and stuff still count, at level 100 you will probs have extra stats that you can use for stuff like cooking to help cover the gap that is there

you need to have a challenge, its no fun if you can have the same stats as him; it just becomes a done deal, there should always be the chance you can lose. without that it just becomes you writing the inevitable, which will make you and other people lose interest as its not fun; it might be fun for a while but eventually it will get boring.

the problem is you want him to be close to you; which while understanable, its also something that mihawk shouldnt be. he is the strongest swordsman in the world, to beat him needs you to be very good at sword play but also strategy etc too. if people could get close to him in stats it makes it easier, which the fight with someone like him should never be.

i have been thinking about it for a while, hardly anyone is doing it for the story etc, they are just getting stronger and getting better stats to take out stronger and stronger people like a cycle.

I am just saying either give him 105 in strength or have a way for players to achieve it without devil fruit or techs

Mihawk should have one flaw in stat which other player overcome and eventually surpass him. And I mean c'mon... Its two years already and even larsi barely can hold against Mihawk.

Of course you can surpass Mihawk. He's only level 90. You can surpass him by 10 whole levels!

That sucks. I'm very out of the loop in terms of what people were up to while I was away. I'm one to talk tho since I'm literally in the middle of my main story goal. After I get the Yami, I think I'll try and find some RPers to fight in canon--but not to fight and get stronger, I just feel like Joby will be at where I'd like her to be to start forming in story relationships and feuds based on dialogue and story.

Everything Pirates took over a year to finish Skpiea and most of the posts didn't even have fighting.

nah if anyone actually manages to be level 100 with +20 substat boosts maxing out all their stats and nothing left to do then I'll whip up something special to be approved by the GMs to add to the store

Saboady Archipelago is big enough with enough locations that you dont need to meet up.

I have my own reasons for going there, I'm sure people can figure it out based on my 'random question' from before lol

Nah I just need a way to have 120 in strength.

Let just say it can cost me the same amount as awakening price but it should exist if one NPC has it

unfortunately thats never gonna happen, he will have 110 minimum. he isnt suppose to have a flaw, he isnt someone you can take advantage of, he is someone you have to push yourself and do everything in your power to beat.

most people are going to islands just for money or exp. while orginaly i was after exp and stuff too, it was never the only thing i went for. of course im still after exp and money, but im more about story and stuff. even have some plans for developing my npcs let alone Jade herself.

while i have wanted a certain df ever since the start, it was never necessary for the story and would have let someone have it first if they got to it before me

But human can't achieve 120 strength in their base in this rp so it's overkill... And yeah I am fine with 110 too

if you cant defeat mihawk without 120 strength then he can be nerfed down the line possibly; or we will add it; even though there are ways to get it

also you can think of him as a raid boss, unless you work things out perfectly; you have to fight him with more than one person

You can get 120 armament to pretty much the same effect though, it's possible to get the same level of DPR as Mihawk

You can get 120 armament to pretty much the same effect though, it's possible to get the same level of DPR as Mihawk

But its limited to twenty times and after that mihawk will always gonna have one more damage than you.

I say rather give gim CoA boost.

we arent changing his 120 strength, it fits and works fine. just because its very difficult doesnt make it impossible. most players wont reach the same level as lots of other enemies as they put substats elsewhere, doesnt mean they shouldnt have it.

boosts like that arent suppose to easy, it also helps with more than just a dpr boost as it CoA gives extra durability too. Mihawk is suppose to be tough as i have said, it shouldnt be a thing where you can high diff him; should always be an extreme diff unless you have help. just because he has something you cant get doesnt mean you cant beat him, good use of attacks, environment, stats etc can let you win

and as i have said if it is actually too difficult or we feel non DFs users should get it, we can add 120 strength to the shop or something

@Ranger and I also have plans for fleshing out our NPC's alongside our main characters. Speaking of which Ranger is on his third main character lol. I still remember what @Handsome said about letting the RP steer the ship of his character.

I'm glad I loosened up my RP goals, otherwise Joby would still be a rubber monkey with 1 movement speed and a tiger fork who can't shut up about his master (that no one knows about) lol.

@Larsi can you buy NPCs and then de-level yourself with store purchases and then keep the NPCs?

What about get NPCs from your crew, leave the crew and then keep the NPCs that you aren't high enough level to have normally?

I mean give him in CoA... It works better because that's the max player can attain and entire fight gonna be depend on creativity

@Ziosa mihawk was always extreme diff but right now he's giving you high diff or extreme if you're creative but win goes to him always
