One of my employees had an emergency surgery a couple of weeks ago because she suddenly stopped feeling her legs. For her, it was too much sitting, and it caused one of the important nerves to be damaged, which was connected to her not feeling her legs.

Iunno if it could be something nerve-related, but I recommend just getting a 2nd doctor's opinion.
