While Kage opted for solitude, X saw a different path. Following Prometheus, he has been granted access to the Spada homies. This potential intel trove was too valuable to ignore. But his vigilance remained an ever-present shadow. Every interaction, every word exchanged, would be meticulously dissected, searching for hidden agendas and potential betrayals.

The allure of accompanying Prometheus to the Flower Capital is undeniable, yet X remains tethered to caution. He prioritizes his independence and is determined to assess the situation with his own keen eyes. While acknowledging the temporary benefits of following the Firebringer, X remains vigilant and ready to adapt his plans immediately.

The tense silence explodes as a shrill scream shatters the air. X's gaze rockets towards the source, landing on a young girl fleeing atop a monstrous chimera. The remnants of that accursed Beast Pirate crew still festered within this land. A cold fury flares briefly, then recedes, replaced by a spark of curiosity. This wasn't part of the plan.

"Gifters," Prometheus confirms, echoing X's suspicions.

X's mind races with possibilities. This unexpected encounter presents a unique opportunity.

"Hold on, Prometheus," X interrupts, his voice laced with a hint of urgency. "These Gifters... could they threaten La Spada's operations?"

"Wouldn't it be wise if we, shall we say, 'took care' of this little problem?"

The Silver Incursion #7​

Neko Port - Outskirts of Town
The Gifters launched their assault, emerging from the shadows like predatory hunters. Suddenly, a thunderous crack reverberated through the town as a colossal figure shook the earth with each step, ensnaring many of the Gifters underfoot. Their desperate screams were abruptly silenced, crushed by the sheer power and mass of the newcomer. Those who managed to escape being crushed felt an icy chill of fear grip their throats, freezing them in place as a wave of overwhelming will washed over them. Their bodies stood immobilized, trembling like the beasts they had transformed into.


The giant turned towards the group that identified themselves as The Nine Scabbards. The Leader, who had abruptly halted his confrontation with Isshen, the young samurai, now joined his comrades in facing the towering figure. Sporting the traditional Tengu mask of samurais, the Leader calmly sheathed his sword and observed the giant with keen eyes, a flicker of recognition crossing his face. He waited patiently until the giant drew closer before addressing him.

[Leader] "What business does Silver Hair have in these lands? We've had our fill of your kind."- the man curtly said, an odd comment from one from an isolationist country​

Isshen and his two comrades seized the opportunity to approach the old samurai. With concern etched on their faces, they attempted to lend him a hand to rise, but the old samurai refused. Instead, his eyes were etched on the Leader's silhouette with a defiant expression.


The Incarnations, having retreated towards the forest when the battle began, shifted their gaze on the giant figure that appeared. Their eyes widened before they disappeared into the shadows of the forest, swiftly departing from the area.

Incursion Into Hostile Territory #8 @Ichimonji​

Larsi watched for a moment as the stragglers fled the battlefield, knowing that it would likely would be trouble, but also knowing it was little he could do now. He smiled seeing the samurai sheathe their weapons, despite their hostile words. Standing up straight, he faced the samurai head on, his weapons still hanging from his back. Then he bowed towards the man, even more common here as a sign of respect than other places in the world.

I am hunting someone. Larsi said, his voice calm as he raised his head again. I am told they are our common enemies, I would rid you of them. The remnants of the Beast Pirates still linger in these lands.

I will rid you of the scourge that are those pirates, then leave. Larsi said.

Wano – Udon Prison #8

While Akira opted to travel alone, he wasn’t exactly far away from Prometheus and X - after all he is also walking towards Flower Capital. Throughout his trek towards he would notice the transformative land that has taken place, seemly by Homies which howls creepily as it seems to be directing the way of some sort. Eyes are on them, making it even strange how La Spada was not able to find the Poneglyph despite terra-forming the land into an island of eyes essentially. Even without Hera, Akira’s actions are most likely quickly seen through the eyes of other Homies, though perhaps not instantly. The boy could not believe how much has changed since he last step foot into Wano Kuni, the powers of the Grim Reaper has managed to grip the land by her claws, subjecting everything into her whims.

Just then, a scream came, though given his distance towards the source as compared to X and Prometheus it wasn’t as loud as they would hear it. A girl atop a strange beast was running away from a group of figures even further away. The boy has no clue who they are or what’s happening – he wasn’t close enough to Prometheus to recognize the Gifters. But he could somewhat contextualize the situation. Unlike X, Akira did not wait to run towards the little kid and her mount. He opted not to transform, unsure what is exactly going on. But he is no stranger to fighting groups of monsters.

Putting himself in between Tama and the Gifters, Akira withdrew his sword. For Tama, it is more than likely watching a shadowy figure run by her, and for the Gifters, what they see is a mysterious figure that just withdrew their weapon on them. Should the group of Gifters choose not to stop, likely trying to charge past Akira, the boy would swing his weapon horizontally from right to left, firing a powerful blast of shockwave in front of him – which should force the herd to stop, though if they are sufficiently close enough they would be hit by the shockwave and likely blasted back.

Akira did not have to ask them to stop, nor does he have to say anything. To him, the answer is clear and day. The girl is a citizen of Wano, and is very much more valuable and useful to him going forward. Though his reasons aren’t exactly logical – him defending Tama is also pretty much something Akira do more often than not – for he is human.

The Silver Incursion #8​

Neko Port - Outskirts of Town @Larsi
The planned exchange involving the old Shimotsuki and La Spada's Incarnations came to an abrupt stop. With swords sheathed, the Red Scabbards ceased their confrontation with Isshen, the young grandson of Shimotsuki. A fortunate turn of events occurred when Larsi encountered the Red Scabbards, learning of their intertwined fate with the Beast Pirates from an elderly woman.

Silver Hair proposed a potential agreement. The Leader, donning his distinctive Tengu mask, deliberated for a moment before motioning for his companions to stand down from their aggressive postures. With measured steps, he approached Larsi, coming to a halt near the giant's feet and meeting his gaze as an equal.

[Leader] "If what thy say is true. Perhaps we can help each other. The Beast Pirates are using our name to spread chaos. In fact, wh-"- the man said​

In a swift and calculated maneuver, the Leader materialized behind Larsi's right knee, his hands poised at the culmination of his attack. Employing an iai technique, the masked figure harnessed his remarkable speed (101) to execute a surprise assault on Larsi, aiming to cut his patella and hamper his movements. The combination of close proximity, lightning-fast speed, and Larsi's towering stature made for a truly remarkable sneak attack.

[Leader] “SHHHEEEEAAHHHHHHHH!l“- the man screamed after his move was finished, his mask flying off​

With astonishing mastery of the sword, the old Shimotsuki swiftly drew his blade, air slicing through the Leader’s mask as if it were paper right after his attack. Simultaneously, similar events unfolded across the battlefield: a towering figure restrained Isshen with an iron grip, while another transformed individual aimed a drawn bow at Zahel’s head.

As the masks of the three Red Scabbards were removed through sword or transformation, the true identities of the combatants were revealed.

The leader was revealed to be a muscular man of tall stature, sporting light blonde hair and goggles. His arms had transformed into formidable horns, earning him the codename Sheepshead. The second figure appeared as a large man with light blue hair, his legs morphed into a massive serpent, now constricting Isshen in a boa grip. Known as Poker, he held the young samurai hostage. Lastly, a wide man with blonde hair and a flamboyant superhero costume emerged, identified as Gazelleman.

The samurai, along with the old woman who had limped to the end of the street, watched Isshen with deep concern.

Each of the three men bore the symbol of the Beast Pirates emblazoned somewhere on their bodies, marking their allegiance.

[Poker] “Oooooonnnneeee muscle twichhsssssss and he gets my venomssssssss to diesssssss.”- the snake man said, his fangs and claws centimeters from Isshen’s throat​

[Gazelleman] “Ha! You dumb pirates! You could never keep up with us or our speed!”- said Gazelleman, his hooves striking the ground with pride​

However, if you seek opposition against the Spada Pirates, seek you the Incarnations. Rumor has it dark samurais have been attacking the meeting points.

Despite the Leader's formidable strength, his swordsmanship prowess was being overshadowed by the young samurai.

[Old Man] "Swordsmanship of amateurs. Quite an insult, wouldn't you agree... Oden-san?"- the old man whispered to himself

X, meanwhile, observed the scene with a hint of amusement that quickly morphed into a sarcastic smirk. "Interesting," he remarked, his voice dripping with a touch of mockery. "Looks like our friend Kage has a sudden case of misplaced heroism. Charging in like some righteous marine? Naive, wouldn't you say, Prometheus?"

He paused, his gaze flickering between Akira's decisive action and the fleeing girl. Momentarily, a cruel glint flickered in his eyes, a fleeting reminder of the predator lurking beneath the surface. But it was quickly replaced by a calculating glint. This unexpected development presented an opportunity, a wrinkle in the carefully laid plans.

"Didn't peg him for the white knight type, especially considering his past," X continued, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. "Pirates rarely shed their old skin so easily, do they, Prometheus?" He cast a sidelong glance at the Firebringer, a silent challenge in his gaze.

Internally, X scoffed. "Or maybe he's just bored," he mused, the thought sparking a dark chuckle. "A reformed pirate playing hero? Now that's a story I'd pay to see." A cruel glint flickered in his eyes, starkly contrasting the supposed "heroism" he witnessed.

"Though honestly," X continued, his voice dropping to a low murmur, "I wouldn't last five minutes pretending to be some do-gooder." There was a hint of self-mockery in his tone, but beneath it lay a deeper truth. X reveled in the chaos, the game of manipulation and power. Playing the hero held no appeal for him. His agenda was far more complex, far more ruthless.

He watched with morbid fascination as the situation unfolded, his mind already calculating the potential outcomes and how they could benefit him. Akira's impulsive act had thrown a wrench into the works, but X thrived on such unexpected turns. It was a reminder that even the most meticulously laid plans could be disrupted and that true power lay in the ability to adapt and exploit such disruptions.

A Grim Punishment - #11

Flower Capitol Outskirts
The young girl and the lion sprinted, pursued by Gifters with relentless determination. The approaching stampede of animals gradually drew nearer. Prometheus identified them, indifferent to whether they disrupted La Spada's schemes or not. The reliance on the formidable figure was unwavering. With a transformed stance, Akira intercepted the Gifters, unleashing a shockwave to halt the oncoming stampede. The Gifters came to a halt as they beheld the man, narrowly evading the attack. Tama spun around, her eyes widening in astonishment.

Suddenly, a looming shadow fell over them. A human bat loomed over the Gifters.

[Batman] “Halt! Stand back, you fools! I-I-I-It's 'Kurai'! The girl's not worth it! The Tobiroppo will understand.”- a voice clamored from the sky, forcing the Gifters to retreat​

With a bounty of one billion, Kurai's mere presence was sufficient to deter the Gifters. Uncertain if they were still being pursued, Batman and the Gifters gradually disappeared over the horizon. Tama and Komachiyo came to a halt, while Prometheus muttered curses under his breath, answering X's question. The girl still seemed apprehensive.

[Tama] "Thank you! Those ugly things were trying to hurt Komachiyo."- said the girl, pointing down at the lion. "I'm Tama! I'm looking for my sensei, Shin-"- the girl said, before being interrupted by Komachiyo's growl​

[Tama] "W-What's wrong?! H-H-Hey, are you all bad guys too?"- Tama asked, now realizing they may be a threat​

Komachiyo growled, his attention fixed on X and Prometheus. Audibly sniffing the air, the lion's gaze eventually settled on Prometheus's hip, where Beretta and Colt lay holstered.

Wano #9

Akira’s presence is powerful, enough to not only stop the Gifters, but also enough to cause them to quickly back off, thanks in part to Batman’s orders. Akira himself have no reason to chase after them, though Batman’s words of the ‘Tobiroppo’ has cause some concerns. It seems that the Beast Pirates have indeed took upon his words and return to Wano, but instead of doing what he would expect them to, the Beast Pirates instead tried to harass the people of Wano. The boy thought for a little bit. Perhaps dealing with the Beast Pirates first should help improve his standing with Wano, he should look at the map to get a rough idea where these Gifters ran off to later on. Tama would speak, thanking Akira for himself them which prompted his attention as he turns to face her.

As the boy turned around, Komachiyo started growling, though the beast’s eyes did not seem to be affixed upon Akira but the two behind him, which cause Tama to find the identity of the trios be suspicious, or villainous, questioning them quite innocently.

“Yes.”

Akira responded to Tama almost without hesitation. There’s no reason to lie, and it’s better to get in the good graces of the people of Wano if Akira wanted to succeed.

“You should head home before more things come your way.”

Akira quickly tells Tama to go home, his eyes seems less of looking at X and Prometheus, but rather his surroundings, where La Spada’s powers have spread and corrupted the land. The boy would sheathe his weapon, before walking towards the town that stood before him, known as Ebisu if he wasn’t interrupted by anything else.

Here, perhaps Akira can inquire about the state of Wano, the Beast Pirates remnants and perhaps clues to the Poneglyph. While it is unlikely that they would know such things, and even if they do unlikely they would tell. The boy however, would have to change the way he would approach and question the people of Wano.

X, a smirk playing on his lips, stepped forward, his voice smooth as polished obsidian. "Just a curious observer, little one. Witnessing the bravery of the new guard in Wano Kuni."

His gaze flicked towards Akira, a glint of challenge in his eyes. "Seems like chivalry isn't entirely dead among pirates these days." The last word dripped with a hint of mockery, testing the waters of Akira's true nature.

Internally, X rolled his eyes. Dealing with naive idealists wasn't exactly his forte, but exploiting their misplaced heroism could prove advantageous.

"Though," X continued, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "playing hero can be a dangerous game in this twisted land, wouldn't you agree?"

He cast a pointed look towards the direction the Gifters fled, his words laced with a veiled threat. "Especially with the Beast Pirates still lurking in the shadows."

This was his opportunity. By subtly mentioning the Beast Pirates, X hoped to pique Akira's interest and potentially leverage it for his ends. Perhaps this "hero" could be a valuable pawn in the complex game unfolding within Wano.

Meanwhile, X kept the map Prometheus provided tucked away, a silent reminder of his own agenda, an agenda quite different from playing knight in shining armor. The Poneglyph and its secrets remained his primary objective.

A Grim Punishment - #12

Ebisu Town
The girl innocently asked the interlopers if they were "bad" guys. Much to her surprise, Akira answered in the affirmative. The other claimed to be an observer. Both responses terrified her, prompting a yelp from the girl and a growl from the large lion. X commented on the Beast Pirates lurking in the shadows, but Prometheus showed no concern. Perhaps chaos was exactly to their liking. However, X's deduction could not have been closer to the truth. The mention of the Beast Pirates sealed the deal for the girl, who hastily climbed onto the lion. Without saying another word, she departed in the opposite direction.

Prometheus made a sly comment to Akira about his benevolence, followed by pointing to Ebisu Town as their next destination. If X and Akira followed, Prometheus would lead them through the gates of the town. As they approached, the sound of laughter from a large crowd reached their ears.

[Crowd] "HAHAHAHAHA!!! LORD YASUIE IS GONNA DIE!! HAHAHAHA!!!"- voices could be heard in the distance​

The group would be greeted by a desolate entry to Ebisu Town. It was a small and humble town, with houses made of rotting wood and decaying metal. Signs of poverty were evident everywhere in the area. The laughter emanated from the northeast edge of town. If the group were to follow the laughter, they would come upon a large plaza and a sizable crowd gathered at the border of Ebisu Town. The entire town seemed to be congregated at the steps of a platform overlooking the Flower Capitol, which housed rich structures in the distance.

In the middle of the platform, a man was tied to a post.

[Voice] "For crimes of sedition against the Spada Pirates. We, the Red Scabbards, have condemned you, Yasui Shimotsuki, the Hero Oddball of Ebisu Town, to DEATH!"- a voice overseeing the execution echoed​

[Yasuie] “Cover the children's eyes! Nay, the friendly oddball of Ebisu Town shall make the Final Grand Journey! In fact, I think I'll go singing! AND A-ONE, AND A-TWO!”- a voice clamored from the post, tiers in his eyes​

In defiance, the man sang. The more he sang, the more laughter he drew from the crowd. Ebisu Town was laughing in the face of the execution and their leader. A Shimotsuki, a name that most would recognize as one of the ruling families of Wano. A name revered. The people were laughing at his execution. Overseeing the execution was a small army of men with eye masks. Leading the execution were three men in white cloaks, all bearing Tengu masks.

The men wore a recognizable symbol on their back: The Nine Red Scabbards.

[Yasuie] "Forgive me, Toko... Forgive your father for leaving you behind! BELIEVE IN THE RED SCABBARDS!”- the man said, as bullets penetrated his frail body​

The group arrived too late, witnessing bullets penetrating the man's body. They would be witnesses to a grueling execution. Suddenly, a girl's voice pierced the crowd with unnerving laughter.

Wano – Ebisu #9

A sardonic chuckle escaped X's lips as the girl bolted, fear etched on her young face. Naivete was a dangerous luxury in this twisted land. Prometheus, ever the enigma, remained impassive to the whole ordeal. Perhaps, as X suspected, chaos was the melody he truly craved.

The gates of Ebisu Town loomed ahead, a stark reflection of Wano's decay. Rotting wood and rusting metal mocked any semblance of prosperity. Like a discordant symphony, laughter bled from the town's heart, drawing them closer with morbid curiosity.

The sight that greeted them was a grotesque caricature of justice. A man, bound to a post in a makeshift plaza, faced a crowd baying for his blood. "Sedition against the Spada Pirates," the executioner declared, his voice booming across the throng. "Yasui Shimotsuki, the so-called 'Hero Oddball,' is condemned to death!"

The condemned man, however, remained defiant. His voice, though ragged, held a sardonic edge. "Spare the children's eyes!" he boomed. "The Hero Oddball embarks on his Final Grand Journey! Let us sing a song! ONE, AND A-TWO!" This was a chilling counterpoint to the grim scene.

But the crowd didn't share his defiance. They roared with laughter, a grotesque symphony that turned the execution into a macabre spectacle. This man, a Shimotsuki - a name that whispered of Wano's fallen nobility - was a mere jester in his final act.

Then, as if on cue, a young girl's laughter pierced the air, a chilling counterpoint to the twisted merriment. Yasuie Shimotsuki's defiance ended with a hail of bullets, the final note in this disturbing opera.

Disgust churned in X's gut. This wasn't just Wano's suffering laid bare; it was a calculated display of cruelty.

The boy would choose not to allow neither X nor Prometheus’ words to provoke him – provocation towards Akira are rather difficult to do so, since he have been in this business since as a kid. A thick skin would have long been developed that allowed him to just shut those out of his mind. But he would be sure to ease both of their minds, and at least in X’s case – his ‘concerns’.

“And that’s why you’ll have no allies.”

Akira responded with a retort. His actions were simple – putting himself in danger like a ‘hero’ aims to change the people’s perspective of him. Although whether to X, the actions took by Akira would be sure to change that perspective or not would more than likely not come into quick results, and of course, X may or may not realize what the boy’s action is meant to do but truthfully, only the people of Wano’s perspective of Akira himself mattered more than the Spada Pirates, despite their association. His objectives are much easier to handle if the people of Wano trusted him more than the pirate crew as a whole. But it would not become a much more difficult thing to do until the boy successfully entered Ebisu Town that a tragedy occurred.

As Akira arrived following a racket of strange laughter coming from the town’s plaza in which the boy would follow towards the strange source of noise. Upon arriving, he would notice the large crowd laughing – yet in those face, those eyes that in which Akira encountered around him - tears. Beyond him is a body riddled with holes, but the identity of the person is not known by Akira himself. The boy could come up with an answer based on what he seen, an execution. But the people of Wano, they exhibit paradoxical emotions, prompting Akira to use his Haki to grasp the situation, emotionally speaking. Is the execution benefitting the people of Wano? Highly unlikely, yet with Haki perhaps this makes the answer to the question swift. The boy noted a sharp cry of ‘Daddy’.

Leaving X and Prometheus behind, the boy blended into the crowd, looking at crowd around him as he made his way towards the execution post in quite a slow fashion – gently pushing the people to make way, Akira saw strange men with eye masks, led by three distinct white cloaked men with tengu masks, but he wasn’t too familiar with the symbols, unfortunate perhaps due to the lack of time spent in Wano in the first place. However, even amongst the crowd – a cloaked figure in black may be easily noticed by those on the platform.

Ebisu Town

[Crowd] "HAHAHAHAHA!!! LORD YASUIE IS DEAD!! HAHAHAHA!!! THE NINE RED SCABBARDS KILLED HIM!!! WHO WILL SUPPORT US NOW?!"- voices laughed​

The calculated display of cruelty pierced through the rambunctious laughter of the crowd. Tears streamed down the people's faces, adding to the image of hilarity. Unbeknownst to the onlookers, these were cries of pain. One voice in particular cut through the rest, screaming "Daddy!". Pushing people aside, a young girl slipped through the bamboo fence and reached the stage where Yasuie lay limp. In a heart-wrenching scene, the girl began to shake Yasuie, attempting to wake him. She held a small vial in her hand, bringing the liquid to his mouth.

The girl laughed the hardest amidst her tears.

[Toko] "Daddy! Please! Look! I worked really hard! I got some good medicine for you! Daddy! Please! Get up!"- the girl screamed, the crowd growing silent for her words​

[Scabbard] "Get behind the gate, little girl! Or you'll be branded an enemy of the Spada Pirates!"- the voice overseeing the execution said, "All of you! Look closely! Spread the word! The Nine Red Scabbards will cut down any who defies the Spadas!"- the voice said, aiming his gun at the girl​

The once-silent crowd laughed even harder, their laughter shaking the very ground. The crowd began to push the bamboo trying to enter, causing the bamboo fence to tremble and break. Amidst the chaos, the man raised his gun, but a small komagitsune, even smaller than the girl, appeared to intervene. The tiny kitsune barked, positioning itself protectively in front of the girl. Defender of the Shimotsuki family: Onimaru.

Suddenly, the other two Scabbards raised their weapons, taking aim from other angles. The scene fell silent before gunfire erupted towards the two.

Wano – Ebisu #10

A glint of icy calculation flickered in X's eyes as he witnessed the unfolding scene. The Red Scabbards' cruelty disgusted him, but a confrontation wouldn't guarantee the girl's safety and might even paint him as the enemy.

He needed a more subtle approach. Focusing on the group he was with, X projected his voice, ensuring it carried over the cacophony of forced laughter. "Well, well, Kage," he drawled, the name dripping with a hint of amusement rather than respect. "Quite the dramatic performance for a simple execution, right? Makes me wonder if this will make you act up again."

X aimed to exploit Kage by appealing to his pride and subtly manipulating him into taking action. Ideally, Kage would interpret the girl's outburst as a weakness and intervene to restore order, inadvertently saving the girl. This approach wouldn't directly challenge their authority but might force them to adjust their tactics, at least for now.

All the while, X kept his keen eyes on the other Scabbards, gauging their reactions. He was prepared to adapt his strategy if his carefully crafted words didn't produce the desired outcome.

The scene fell silent as gunfire rained down on the kitsune and the young girl. Suddenly, a flash of light engulfed the two would-be victims. The clanging of steel on iron broke the silence. Where the two once stood, a large yokai monk appeared. The rippling monk wielded a nahinata almost as big as himself, parrying the bullets with monstrous strength. As the monk's stature was recognized, the ground cracked beneath him.

The small kitsune had disappeared, leaving the monk standing over the girl. The symbols on the monk's forehead were reminiscent of the kitsune's markings.

[Onimaru] "The Red Scabbards honored the Shimotsuki, daimyos of Hakumai and Ringo. Such display of dishonor! Scabbards, you’ve lost your way!"- the monk roared​

[Shinobu] “This country won’t forgive you! You’ve besmirched Oden’s name! Unmask yourselves and face the people’s wrath!”- a woman said from the crowd, joining the monk​

A stout middle-aged woman pushed her way through the laughing crowd, dressed head-to-toe in pink garments. The wide-browed woman took her place next to the monk, causing gasps from the crowd. Many voices identified her as Shinobu, a retainer for the Kozuki family. The bamboo fence was torn down by the crowd, and the Scabbards found themselves facing a full-blown riot, with everyone laughing hysterically.

The leader of the Scabbard group grit his teeth and stood defiantly against the crowd, invoking a name that Akira and X would recognize.

[Scabbard] "Fine. Then you shall all die as example. By the orders of Uvogin, Mayhem of the Spada Pirates, you have all been sentenced to death."- the voice said, roaring echoing from the alleys surrounding the plaza​

Akira watched the commotion quietly, though X’s comment seems to attempt to rile some reactions out of him – or so his words would seem to imply. However, regardless of X’s words or not Akira would more than likely intervene, but before he could do so however – two new beings emerged, or rather one of them transformed from the fox as the fox disappeared and is quickly replaced by the large man. Akira wasn’t sure if this is a Zoan ability, but regardless his intervention wasn’t direly needed. Both Shinobu and Onimaru called out to the dishonour that the Red Scabbards has brought to them. While Akira has not been here for long, he knew who are the Red Scabbards – and thus he would wonder if La Spada had did something that cause much of change of allegiance. Then again, La Spada used to worked with them during the events of Wano Kuni and the Beast Pirates even before expelling the latter out of the country if the boy recalled.

Before long however, the call towards the Scabbards would be met with further vitriol, or at least seems to be what Akira figured from the Scabbard’s response, whom called Uvogin as the one in control and perhaps is the entity responsible for this.

“……”

The boy thought about it. His actions do not require the manipulation from X. Unlike most pirates, the boy relates to the people of Wano more than most would believe. Coming from someone whose home was destroyed by the hands of La Spada…. And himself. The boy understood that pain best. And not only that, the situation is somewhat rather perfect for Akira to actually intervene.

Just seconds as the Scabbard would order the deaths of Shinobu and Onimaru, an air blade was immediately fired into the air towards the platform, purposefully missed everything but passing through in between the Scabbards and the two saviours that would catch everyone’s attention.

“Uvogin? He has no power here.”

The boy questioned the orders from the Scabbards, he wasn’t shouting yet he is close enough that speaking loudly is enough to catch the rest of their attention. The boy made his decision, in order to acquire what La Spada wants while keeping the people of Wano relatively safe enough. Almost immediately, Akira jumped onto the platform and looked towards the Scabbards, his sword already drawn towards the leader of the Scabbards.

“Either you stop this, or Uvogin will be finding his men’s heads at his feet.”

The boy declares, to him – he may have not much power within Spada Pirates after the betrayal, Akira however still is incredibly powerful. A challenge to Uvogin. And perhaps something that Uvogin himself would rather not contest. This is also a challenge to authority to La Spada whom put her first mate to control Flower Capital, but Akira would quietly speak to seemly no one else but himself.

“You have no problem with my way of getting what you want don’t you?”

The scene fell silent as gunfire rained down on the kitsune and the young girl. Suddenly, a flash of light engulfed the two would-be victims. The clanging of steel on iron broke the silence. A large yokai monk appeared where the two once stood, wielding a naginata almost as big as himself, parrying the bullets with monstrous strength. Akira, seemingly unaffected by X's earlier provocation, made his move. Just as the Scabbard leader was about to give the order, an air blade was fired toward the platform, purposefully missing everyone but catching their attention.

"Uvogin? He has no power here," Akira declared, his voice steady and challenging.

He leaped onto the platform, his sword already drawn and aimed at the leader of the Scabbards. "Either stop this, or Uvogin will find his men’s heads at his feet."

X watched in silence, impressed by the boy's audacity. He didn't need any manipulation; his actions were driven by something more profound.

Seizing the moment, X stepped forward, his voice dripping with cold confidence. "You know, it's quite amusing," he began, his tone casual yet threatening. "Here we have the so-called Red Scabbards, cowering at the first sign of real resistance. And invoking Uvogin's name? Pathetic."

He let his words hang in the air for a moment, allowing the weight of the accusation to settle over the crowd and the Scabbards. "Do you honestly think Uvogin will save you? If anything, he's the one who should be worried. This," X gestured to Akira, Onimaru, and Shinobu, "is just a taste of the opposition you'll face if you continue down this path."

X's eyes bore into the leader of the Scabbards. "If you push further, you won't just be dealing with a rebellion. You'll be facing the wrath of a united Wano, and trust me, neither you nor Uvogin is prepared for that."

Ebisu Town
The laughter of the crowd grew restless and angry. The bamboo wall had been thrown down. The platform was surrounded by the people of Ebisu Town, rallying around the girl, Onimaru, and Shinobu. Akira sliced the platform in two, landing threateningly. The leader of the Scabbards took a step back. He widened his eyes; he recognized the young man who had slain La Spada herself. The words from the marksman sent chills down his spine. The three men looked around, sizing up the crowd and the opposition. To say they were outnumbered was an understatement. Revolution was at hand.

The Red Scabbards, known for their honor, did something that would shock Shinobu. They cowered.

[Leader] "W-W-W-well, the deed is done. You all have seen what happens when you mess with us! Don't let it happen again or we'll be back in full force."- the leader said, his voice shaking at the beginning of his statement​

[Shinobu] "You coward! How have the Scabbards fallen so low?! What would Oden think?!"- the stout woman shouted, teeth gritting​

The leader of the Scabbards grunted before calling his troops. They threw a smoke bomb at their feet, shrouding the platform in purple smoke. When it cleared, the group was gone. In their place, left on the overlooking seat upon the platform, was a letter. The outside of the letter bore the recipient's name: Beast Pirates. With their advanced color of observation, the trio could sense the Scabbards fleeing toward the heart of the Flower Capital. In the distance, the Flower Capitol castle could be seen.

Suddenly, a soft voice echoed from the wind, addressing Akira, Prometheus, and X.

[Hera] "The Red Scabbards know the location of the Poneglyph. Uvogin will know."- the wind homie, still concealed, spoke. As if on cue, an Oars giant-sized shadow appeared behind the Flower Capitol castle​

[Prometheus] "Well, well. It seems you may get your wish sooner than you'd think, X. This ought to be interesting. Promahahahah!"- Prometheus said, seemingly enjoying the crew discourse​

For a moment, the crowd began to quiet down. Where the monk once stood, there was now a fox. The fox gently licked the face of Yasuie, the fallen Shimotsuki. The girl laughed softly at his feet. Shinobu closed the man's eyes and prayed for him. The people began to murmur. For now, the people of Ebisu had been saved. However, they had lost a hero.

The trio would have to decide whether to stay in Ebisu Town to inquire further or make their way toward the Flower Capital on the heels of the Scabbards.

Sorry for not making a battle. It would not make sense based on Akira's fame (literally killing Spada) and how outnumbered they were. Hope that's ok!

Akira’s words forced the Scabbards aback, though with further words from X to really put forth the idea of a fight would be nothing less than a massacre for the Scabbards themselves, enough to ultimately stop the samurais from continuing with their senseless killing, something in which Akira himself have no idea what even spark the catalyst. But he could theorize this whole thing pretty much stems from the whatever La Spada has done to the place, dissent is going to be a huge problem, rebellion, like X said would be dangerous. Less for the Spada Pirates but more for their own people. They would be marching upon their deaths.

The Scabbards would leave in a smoky fashion, using smoke bombs to mask their escape – though for someone like Akira whom has the ability to sense them through Haki prowess, their path was quickly made known as they retreated towards the heart of the Flower Capital. The boy however need not give chase, the intended destination was always the capital itself anyway. Around them onto the platform, a letter could be seen atop a seat. Perhaps left behind by the Scabbards due to their interference. But as Akira began to walk towards the seat where the letter is left, Hera would appear – speaking not just to Akira but also to the rest of the party.

[Hera] "The Red Scabbards know the location of the Poneglyph. Uvogin will know."

The boy was quite surprised to hear that the lead has already been in front of the Spada Pirates to follow – but for some reason Uvogin wasn’t able to do so and acquire the location. Despite working under Uvogin, the one in-charge failed to acquire the location from his own ‘men’. Or perhaps there are two groups – one that is working for Uvogin and the other as rebels. Regardless of which, this meant one thing. The Red Scabbards are not willing to divulge the information even with the threat of death, and with that likely meant something else is behind the scenes. The Beast Pirates themselves perhaps? Coincidentally as the boy went to pick up the letter whilst Hera and Prometheus spoke – the Beast Pirates appeared on the letter.

“The two of you talk to Uvogin then.”

Akira finally made his decision. For X, this would be his opportunity, for the boy recalled Uvogin coming up during the words spoken in the arena, making some kind of personal history between the two of them. If the Red Scabbards do indeed know of the location, then perhaps the duo may be able to retrieve answers from them.

“If Uvogin has information then for whatever reason he wasn’t able to acquire them from his own men, or by locating another group of these Scabbards. The threat of death most likely does not scare them. They are more than likely withholding information for another reason.”

Akira decided to find the Poneglyph through another way – and perhaps the path may be an alternative in case X and Prometheus failed. He would decide to look into the Beast Pirates, they are the ones formerly in control of the territory after all, and thus may have the possibility of finding the Poneglyph. Not only that, the Beast Pirates, or what is left of them looked to be harassing the people of Wano. Dealing with them would also put him in a better position to use the citizens to provide leads.

Akira would have to stay in Ebisu Town for the time being to figure out where the Beast Pirates may be. Should there be no other question, likely for Prometheus at least – for despite Akira’s betrayal to La Spada, still have powers over him. For the strong rules the weak and even at his current state, Akira is much more powerful enough to demand Prometheus to do what La Spada ordered. Akira would finally open the letter intended for Beast Pirates and read its contents. He would leave Shinobu alone for the time being, for she would seem to be anything but a threat for the time being.

X watched the chaos unfold with a mixture of amusement and calculated interest. The Scabbards' cowardice was almost disappointing but not unexpected. Kage's direct approach had shattered their facade of power, leaving them with no choice but to flee. The letter left behind intrigued X; it was a breadcrumb leading to something bigger, something potentially useful.

The mention of Uvogin sent a familiar chill down X’s spine. Uvogin was a name that carried weight, and X had his reasons for wanting to cross paths with the Spada Pirate. Hera’s revelation about the Poneglyph only added more layers to the intrigue.

"The Red Scabbards know the location of the Poneglyph. Uvogin will know."

Interesting. If Uvogin hadn't yet extracted this information, the Scabbards held out for a reason. X's mind raced, considering the possibilities. Perhaps there was more dissent within the ranks than appeared on the surface. This could be an opportunity to exploit.

Kage decided to leave confronting Uvogin to X and Prometheus. X appreciated the subtle respect in that gesture, though he knew Kage's motivations were driven more by pragmatism than deference.

X stepped forward, his voice steady and authoritative. "Uvogin won’t get what he wants from the Scabbards. They’re too afraid, too entrenched in their misplaced honor. We must corner them, exploit their fear, and use it to our advantage."

Prometheus floated nearby, a flicker of amusement in his fiery eyes. "Well, well. It seems you may get your wish sooner than you'd think, X. This ought to be interesting. Promahahahah!"

X nodded, a grim smile playing on his lips. "Indeed. It's time to remind Uvogin that not all threats can be silenced with brute force. There's more at play here."

As Kage opened the letter, X's thoughts drifted to its implications. The Beast Pirates might hold the key to unraveling this mess. They were a link to Wano's past power structure and leveraging that could tip the scales.

X knew they had to move quickly with the Scabbards fleeing towards the Flower Capital. "We’ll deal with Uvogin and get the information we need. Kage handles the Beast Pirates. We need every piece of this puzzle."

X’s eyes scanned the crowd, now quiet and uncertain. The people of Ebisu Town had seen a glimpse of hope, a power shift. But hope was fragile, and it needed to be nurtured carefully.

As they prepared to follow their respective paths, X couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation. The stakes were high, but so were the rewards. Ultimately, it was all about controlling information, power, and destiny.

Ebisu Town
The Red Scabbards fled in the face of overwhelming numbers and the infamy of Kurai. The laughter of the crowd died down as they dispersed, having witnessed their hero fall and driven out the interlopers. The kitsune, Shinobu, and the girl mourned Yasuke Shimotsuki with reverence. Much had transpired, but thanks to Akira, X, and the unity of the town, the people could breathe again. With a letter and a proclamation by Hera as their lead, their path had split in two.

X and Prometheus would follow the Red Scabbards' aura out of Ebisu Town and into the Flower Capital. In the distance, as massive as the castle, the hulking figure of Uvogin could be seen. The figure stepped back into the shadows, almost beckoning the duo and the Red Scabbards.

Meanwhile, Akira chose to stay behind in Ebisu Town in search of clues. The First Mate grabbed the letter. Before he could open it, the wind itself unraveled the letter addressed to the Beast Pirates, a constant reminder of Hera and the prison that bound Akira, even if not physically.

[Letter] Pose as the Red Scabbards and execute Yasuke Shimotsuki. A public display will draw out the Scabbards in defense of their honor. Your payment will be made in full once the Red Scabbards are identified.​

The letter had a unique symbol at the bottom, one that only a fellow Mayhem would recognize. Only the five bore the knowledge and significance of this symbol, with each having a slight stroke identifying which Mayhem it belonged to. This particular symbol belonged to one of the five: Uvogin.

As the shocking realization came, the young girl Akira had met earlier appeared. She ran towards Shinobu, proclaiming her as the sensei she sought. However, the stout woman had her head bowed, closing Yasuke's eyes.

[Shinobu] "I'm sorry, Yasuke-senpai. Your honor will be avenged."- the stout woman whispered​

Flower Capitol - Caste Outskirts
The duo followed the trail of the Red Scabbards to the Flower Capitol. Prometheus' prowess with Color of Observation kept them hot on their trail. As they entered the city, they witnessed a prosperous capital town with several districts, each covering multiple streets. Unlike Ebisu Town, the Flower Capitol thrived, though occasional signs of urban crime were visible. Overall, the people seemed content in their daily lives. The duo had no time to observe, or they would lose the trail.

The trail led them toward the large castle in the middle of the capital on top of giant branches of a tree.

[Prometheus] "The Flower Capitol. Uvogin was entrusted with the seat of Governor after The Shadow killed Shogun Orochi. You can call me... jealous"- Prometheus said to X with a grin, perhaps a view into his intent. "The Spada Pirates enjoy free reign. You'll find even I don't hold sway here."- warned Prometheus​

A discombobulated crew operated as a single entity, each member acting on their own yet woven together by the words of La Spada. This rambunctious crew thrived on internal strife, with those at the bottom constantly plotting against those above, keeping everyone on their toes and growing stronger. However, the discord had grown to a point where the very men they followed, the alleged Red Scabbards, were on the verge of entering Uvogin's castle.

At the foot of the Flower Castle, at the large gate, the duo would be greeted by four liches, part of the Fallen. They would bar their path and demand to know what their business was. The Red Scabbars' aura would be tracked inside.
