I tagged like 400 people in the OP so people read it you're late to the party but feel free to check out Shions post of what will soon change in the forum (you should look at the actual post instead of this quote because some quoted part is missing.

Well then, after discussing a lot between ourselves what we could implement and change to make the forum better we came to this result:

The forum structure would change to this format:


- Adding OP, MHA and other featured series in the Home Page
*We will update the whole home page and add more stuff actually.

- Allowing shipping groups*
*This will be inside Clubs & Groups section, which will be moderated by @Shion and @Chris Mic.

- Allowing spoiler threads*
*Spoiler threads will be allowed but with a few restrictions:
1. No linking or full scans (half scans are fine tho)
2. No emoji only responses, since those don't contribute to anything really. We might allow one or two image only, however if done in a constant pace we will delete.
3. Spoiler threads will be created in their respective sections (OP, MHA, Kingdom) but for Manga & Anime will be a single thread for all spoilers released.

Those will be moderated by @Shion, @novaselinenever and @Beky (after he is integrated again in January)

- More Manga/Anime threads is something you guys have to do yourselves too, it's not only us that have to bring new content.

- More Casual/Spam threads can be made, however those will have to be approved by us first as to not allow super spamming to reach higher ranks in one week.

- Shitpost thread can be made in General Chat, I don't see why it can't be done there since we don't mod that thread.

- We will upgrade to a new and better server host sometime in January, and it may then be possible to return alerts or push notifications or both.

- New items in the shop

- SD given for contribution throughout the forum (1 SD per post and 10 SD per new thread)

- Every month in the announcement section we will start a thread to inform whats going on in the forum, events to look forward to and other things.

- Some of the medals are now in effect. You can see them here Medals. There are some Mafia / RP medals still in the works, and there will be 8 general medals for the whole site. They will be in effect sometime before new year.

Lets hope these changes help to bring more life to this community, because of the failed start. The team should really make advertisement via reddit and more importantly push activity!

BTW can we get a news/review subsection in the One Piece section. I would like to frequently post sandman news and the reviews of noxdrax and artur.

Alright another thing I wanna discuss. Everyone is saying the Mods need to "lighten up" and stop deleting posts. But no one is sayin they had their own posts deleted, that they just heard about it. Essentially it's become rumor we delete all posts that are off topic.

Look guys, I've spent the last 2 days going through and looking at deleted posts on our site in the anime and manga section. So let me lay some facts out:
One Piece General discussion where our original One Piece thread was: 4 deletions in July. All deletions were related to spoilers of a specific chapter.
One Piece Chapters: 2 deletions (out of all those chapters), and these were in the same chapter back in August. These deletions were acknowledging likes recieved.
Various One Piece Topics: 4 deletions. Single emoji or gif reactions do not add to the conversations, we encourage y'all to post with words too so there can be discussions. That accounted for 1 deletion. Another 2 were for trying to start Zoro vs Sanji stuff. And the last was indeed off topic and inappropriate.
So One Piece section had 10 deletions total.

Onwards then. My Hero Academia: 0 deletions.

Other manga and anime: 11 deletions total. Of those 4 were for broken post by members who left us, it was before the bug got fixed and our only option was deletion. 4 more deletions were for posting spoilers and raws. We have the no spoilers and full images rule in place because of those new international laws and they could open us to the same problems OJ was facing. The last 3 were deleted because they were just repetitions of saying they were dropping the manga.

Outside the Manga and Anime sections I'll admit to deleting posts that are single emojis or gif reactions with no words added on. I'd rather y'all say " digging it because xyz reasons!" than "" we have a multitude of likes available on our posts so we don't have to quote people to laugh emoji at their posts or to tell em you absolutely agree with them using a heart emoji or "this" reaction gif. (You'll also notice more discussion points are brought up when you say WHY you agree or like something and lookie there an increase in topic discussion which is the number one goal).
As for the Admin deletion methods here is what they say:

Thank you for shedding light on this Shottie. I agree that emijo reacts are useless but sometimes thats how people like to express themselves. How many times have you seen people comment on a meme or a facebook post with a laughing emoji? Isn't it strange this is done even though they can just use a laughing react? I reacted to a few post even in mafia games with just gifs, they have never been deleted (thank God) otherwise I would probably be upset because I had to go through the trouble of inserting the gif that expresses how I feel lol. I trust my team here at TB but unless this emoji/gif react becomes a problem I don't think it should necessarily deleted. We are a small community and we need that level of freedom imo. I just wanted to point out that small thing because I heard people talk about it even though it never happened to me. I think you guys are pretty awesome for the most part and do a good job. If its mostly a rumor then thats fine but it probably got started because we had a few unhappy campers; granted God can't please everyone and neither can you and the mod team but we should try and make this place a great place for the majority.

I trust my team here at TB but unless this emoji/gif react becomes a problem I don't think it should necessarily deleted. We are a small community and we need that level of freedom imo.

Trust me, TB isn't "small" -- TB had a head start as a community because people migrated from another community, it peaked and there was bound do be a dip because nothing is ever a never ending upward trend.

During this time of the year every site sees lack of activity or growth, forums especially see more growth during summer vacations, the first year of any forum is crucial since that is the time period during which most forums either call it quits or stand strong and grow.

Setting standards from now is something that the team is doing well honestly. And you have reactions (like, funny, love etc.) present if you feel like reacting with just an emoji or gif. Forums are not Facebook, Facebook is a 1000 times more casual than discussions you expect on a forum. Name any single thread or piece of information you can search and go back to on Facebook, but forums has content stored forever which can and will be looked up in the future.

Anyway on the point of the reactions, I think adding some custom reacts may be a great idea. Could also promote more usage of reactions to cut sown emote only posts, custom OP reactions would be fantastic even, thats something the team could look into.

The homepage is already done, and we're working on some other new things. We didn't release it yet because we want to give out all the updates together.

I say it's time to elevate the manga sections.. That way, we get to see activity.

I am happy that nowadyas, Nessos and Cracker are beginning to populate those sections.. Tnx to Salah to for bringing forth valuable stuff in Spoiler thread..

The theorists need to get off the tree and start pulverizing people with their mind blowing theories again..
